Just red on social media site so don't know if at all true, but was posted buy a rangers related page that rangers were preparing a bid for bradshaw can anyone confirm this or are we all still in the dark about a striker .

03 Jul 2016 21:16:13
Still in the dark atm but reckon this will pick up when warburton returns from america.

04 Jul 2016 15:33:44
warburton will have left a list of players he wants with king and co and they will be contacting the relevant agents or clubs while he is away I can see two more signings coming in being a cb and a striker then will get 2 or 3 loanees in at the end of the window.

03 Jul 2016 18:10:42
Hope so mate. Just what we need. We need a finisher to back up Waggys total and go after the title straight away!

03 Jul 2016 18:34:32
Unless mw weir or mcparland are on here then I doubt anyone can confirm it. Hope its true tho mate.

03 Jul 2016 09:24:57
Don't like him but round home here lafferty is being strongly linked with the gers. also Stuart Dallas is nt a Celtic fan, would be a great signing.

03 Jul 2016 09:59:16
Don't want lafferty anywhere near rangers, no time whatsoever for that guy after what he did and his attitude to the club he professes to love, NOT! I've always known that stuart dallas is a big rangers fan and i'd welcome him with open arms, terrific player, hope we sign him.

03 Jul 2016 10:14:47
Agreed, he's done well at Leeds since he moved from Brentford. always puts a shift in for Northern Ireland. lafferty on the other hand, big time Charlie waste of space.

03 Jul 2016 11:30:43
Laffertys currently on his honeymoon, only left a few days ago so doubt he would be in any talks when he's in bora-bora just now!

03 Jul 2016 13:27:35
Lafferty is an international striker who we could get for nothing. As long as his wages aren't high I would take him. One year deal with option of another if he makes the mark.

03 Jul 2016 15:00:50
I like Lafferty and would take him in a minute . The guys left under that bam Charles Green.
When I didn't like my gaffer's at work I changed jobs too.
If the manager thinks he can help us to 55 that will do me. He certainly helped us to 52, 53 and 54😊.

03 Jul 2016 15:12:19
Dunbar blue can you and other guys not get it into your head this guy lafferty tried to take our club glasgow rangers to court, he was the only player who tried this when all the deserters were leaving, no thanks, my strong message to lafferty is GTF! He's also disruptive and a carthorse, a waste of space imo!

03 Jul 2016 15:36:26
Football wise the guy is a donkey, a total waste of space! He was a waste of £3m+ when Smith made the crazy decision to bring him to Rangers and his contribution was more like that of a 'free transfer' than a multimillion pound player. Off the park he was a disaster, appearing more on the front page for his antics than on the back page for his antics. I keep hearing that he has grown up but a leopard doesn't change its spots and I really don't see him bringing anything but trouble if we are stupid enough to take him back. We should only take players that are better than what we have. Lafferty does not come into that category!

03 Jul 2016 16:44:28
Tom42.does your leopard doesn`t change its spots comment also apply to Joey Barton.

03 Jul 2016 18:18:47
Warburton the fifteenth, I can't speak for other guys but I can get it in my head! I get your stance that you don't like the man and the reasons you don't want him, that's no problem. My stance is I don't know anyone who has not made mistakes they regret, the guys apologised, he was young and probably daft, I am prepared to forgive him and give him another chance if the manager wants him. I would like to think if my laddie made some mistake and apologised he would get a second chance .
Tom42 when he was scoring goals for NI in the qualifying and pumping goals in the deciding games of 52, 53 and 54, he didn't look like a donkey to me. Enough said.

Good shout bluebeard.

I agree that Lafferty was a bit of a clown when he was at Rangers and his simulation v Aberdeen (and other headlines) was highly embarrassing for him and the club. I think he was coming in to a game when the club imploded, however.

As for his taking the club to court. Like many fans on here, I love Rangers. But if I was employed by them and they wronged me to the extent that my contract was breached, I would also go to court if I felt that it was necessary. People join companies but leave managers. He joined Rangers but left whatever numpties were in charge of the club at the time. Most of us on here treat them with disdain - what right have we to deny Lafferty the same?

03 Jul 2016 21:05:34
As I said a while ago re Joey Barton, I'm certainly not a fan of his and would be the last person I would want near my team. Same as Diouf however, Diouf signed and I got behind him because he played for my team. There was no other reason than that. Barton has signed and I shall do the same with him. If Lafferty signs then same thing again. For me it is ALWAYS about my team not the sum of its parts. Rangers is greater than ANY individual who has ever pulled on the famous blue top. If they're an arsehole then so be it. They are still one of our own.

03 Jul 2016 21:40:52
I can't take it that far P&B. If they consistently let the team down on the pitch (e. g. cheating, diving, feigning injury, spitting at opponents, deliberately trying to seriously hurt someone, etc) or the club off the pitch (e. g. drink driving, repeatedly poor behaviour resulting in reputational damage, criminal record, etc) then I can't offer unconditional support. Rangers must have standards/ values and we either bypass players on the market with a poor reputation or offload them if they fail to meet them when they are part of the club. (Although I'd have allowed Laudrup to do a Cantona - but only Laudrup) .

I agree that the club is much, much more important than the individuals who are part of it and if individuals want to be part of the club they must invest in it fully and that should mean adjusting their lifestyle, if required, for the privilege of wearing the jersey - tucked into their shorts. and beardless, the way it used to be!

03 Jul 2016 23:01:35
That's fair do's bruisedbear. I take on board all your are saying and do agree with what you say regarding standards etc. No one is perfect and we have all made mistakes, although I have never made the mistake of jumping on the beard bandwagon!

03 Jul 2016 23:54:34
I am not a Barton fan but I acknowledge that he is a decent quality football player and arguably the best we can secure in our current circumstances. For that reason I am happy that he has signed and will support him when he is in a blue jersey. As for Lafferty, I simply don't rate him as a quality player and I really don't care how many goals he scored for Northern Ireland. I am only interested in Rangers and I really don't want him anywhere near Rangers. In the unlikely event that he does sign, (and personally I believe that there are better out there than him) , the he will get my support so long he is in a Rangers jersey and giving 100%.

04 Jul 2016 00:20:18
You'll do for me Tom😊.

04 Jul 2016 13:05:31
P&B. If we tried to reinstate the beard ban, I'm sure it would constitute a breach of human rights. Doesn't mean it's right to grow one!

Agree that no-one is perfect and we all deserve the chance to atone for errors.

03 Jul 2016 10:51:33
This is the story people are thinking of. Its not Stuart Dallas who made the comments it was Alan Judge.

Tails, yip i Just now that lafferty is desperate for a new club we get this (i should have stayed at rangers shit) that sounds to me like pleading (begging) please please please take me back, i wlnt do it again, horse stable door coomes to mind, now that he has moved to glasgow he wants a job nearer home, a sensible thing to do if your a sensible person, but he has made his own bed imo, let him lye in it.

03 Jul 2016 12:15:49
Seldom do players take part n talk do that and then the player signs. Agent probably glad he s not there.

03 Jul 2016 17:06:29
I think the "lafferty tried to take us to court" thing is something which should b left in the past. To be honest our club put them in a ridiculous position, due to the mismanagement of it.

People forget, the money problems we were having, didn't just come all of a sudden. We had financial trouble for several years before it, were told we were debt free, then sold to whyte for a pound then put into administration all because of the ebt threat hanging over us. Murrays fault ( and I was one of his biggest fans as well ) The players used a tactic (threatening to take the club to court) to have their contracts terminated to look after their futures, and I for 1 will always blame David Murray for that n not the players. Let's face facts the money that we would have got for them would have been taken straight from the club anyway n straight in to the pockets of those fukn crooks.

As I said before, the players were in a position that our club should never have put them into and their family's and careers had to come 1st. I think they seen what was coming in the form of green and his cronies and decided they wanted nothing to do with them. Certainly don't blame them for that, I know who the real culprits are n the real con men n don't think these players should b tarnished with that

Ps, I don't even think lafferty is the answer, don't think he's that good, but I think the time has come for us to start forgetting about the past. After all, if we can't forget about the past, then how can we expect the deluded supporters of other clubs to forget about it.

03 Jul 2016 22:11:29
I don't blame Lafferty for threatening Green etc with legal action. He knew what was happening behind the scenes and reckoned the money was better in his pocket than in the thieves.
