anybody heard rumour that jelavic has joined / or is joining QPR on a 3 yr deal tonight

Believable5 Unbelievable19

5mil with add ons

Agree1 Disagree12

How can he when he has a sore groin? would fail the medical! SO no, he isnt going anywhere this window!

Agree5 Disagree8

Haha sore groin you believe that

Agree5 Disagree3

Medicals look at everything. If you have a sore groin or even a broken leg you can still get thru a medical. Just look at some of the Rangers Duds... Prodan, Webster etc they all got thru!

GB

Agree4 Disagree2

No, no one has heard that rumour because it's a load of belloni

Agree0 Disagree2

03 Jan 2012 23:30:11
supposedly QPR are in fro shagger lets hope not though

Believable10 Unbelievable10

Mcgregor signed a 6 or 5 year contract in the summer which means that they will need to pay a s**t load to clear the contract plus the actualy fee for him

Can never see Edu leaving even on loan because Ally clearly thinks he's Godlike but....

What they need: A new team? If they are to have any chance of survival, Blackburn need several new recruits at the beginning of January. The absolute necessities are a left and right-back, a central defender, some midfield bite and a new striker. Not much then.

What they're likely to get: It all depends on whether Venky's are willing to spend. If they realise it's the last-chance saloon they might open the purse strings to bring in some quality. If not, Rovers will be looking to loan players who are up for a challenge - Rangers midfielder Maurice Edu has been linked.

What's been said? Steve Kean: "We have spoken about new players that are going to be coming in during the window. I think in the position we are in, and we are losing bodies, it is important we are active now so that as soon as the window opens we can get some players in."

Believable4 Unbelievable11

Who gives a rats arse about Blackburn

Agree9 Disagree0

No need to be rude, is there? It was off Sky Sports and it menioned a possible loan out of Edu to Blackburn. That's why I posted it.

Agree1 Disagree6

Why sell edu you people who wanted him dropped got st mirren two up front for a change winning looking good mcculloch your choice to replace edu let ally down retreat disgrace beat on to celtic edu left out again mcculloch wheeled out again more positive rangers again ally grows balls twice bad luck dont turn up for second half beat cant blame edu again have to believe you people have been aboard since souness i can see edus weaknesses but he never hides athletic strong workmanlike i could be describing kevin thomson oh but he wasnt liked either i used to run a team they were unbeatable we had lots of edus and thomsons i called them winners they allowed ball players to flourish rangers dont have any but we can fight or have we given up we never get credit for good football press being tim minded but no one likes us we dont care we dont know whats round corner but edu would always be in my starting eleven grafters let players play we are short of players highland bear

Agree10 Disagree3

I used to write sentences: they were unbeatable. But we had lots of commas and full stops and I called them punctuation marks.

Agree8 Disagree3

Dont loan him out, sell him and cash in on him. Not worth keeping on our books.

GB

Agree1 Disagree3

I agree. I'd get rid of Ortiz, Broadfoot, Edu, Big Jig, Weir(In a playing capacity) and McCulloch. I would give Bedoya a chance, I would actually start McKay, McMillan would be my starting RB and our youth is the answer to our problems in midfield, IMHO, lacking experience and discipline/attitude but ra natural talent in abundance. Fleck needs game experience and to work on his attitude and Ness needs a good run of fitness but other than that they are much much better than what we're using in MF atm. Hutton has everything Ally thinks Edu has except he's good. I'd loan McCabe, Kerkar and Wylde out so they can get game time and so Wylde can learn to look up, cross and shoot.

Agree8 Disagree0

Woops, typo. Big Jig and McCulloch are same person.

I was speaking to a guy called ally the other day who is a glasgow business man, he says whyte doesn't have a pot to pi55 in and rangers will make next to hee haw signings this window

Believable20 Unbelievable23

So what? Everyboody knows somebody who has something to say on the matter, but it does'nt mean they know Jack!

Agree8 Disagree1

I was talking to a guy called neil the other day he told me his job was on a shaky nail because he was having a nightmare at work then one of his workmates handed him a lifeline and now all his workmates think he is some sort of legend. imagine that.

heard in the swallow hotel yesterday that rangers are looking at amoo from liverpool and also heard gary o'connor hassigned a pre contract if jelavic leaves ( he wason the bench yesterday as was jelavic so could be true)

Believable11 Unbelievable18

Jelavic was omitted from the squad due to injury

Agree1 Disagree4

How can he have signed a pre contract then if jelavic hasnt left? And jelavic was NOT on the bench, he was out with a groin niggle and hadnt trained since the old firm game.

Agree3 Disagree3

You honestly think it is a niggle? so garry o'connor, hibs best striker, was rested in a derby game aswell? and read it ( has signed a pre contract (IF) jelavic leaves

Agree3 Disagree2

Amoo is on loan already so unfortunately don't think he'll go to Rangers

Agree1 Disagree0

Jelavic is under contract. rangers fc make the call if he stays or goes. and on the subject of signing pre contracts based on someone leaving iv never heard so much 5h1te in all my life.

Agree2 Disagree0

O'Connor was on the bench against Hearts with a Toe Problem

Agree2 Disagree0

This is my 1st input, I'm not wanting you to get me confused with your 1st reply but I completely agree with him. Either o'connor has or hasn't signed a pre contract, you can't sign a pre contract if (and I know you said it twice as if it would make more sense) Jelavic gets sold.

The O'Connor talk has been doing the rounds for weeks and I wouldn't mind seeing him join Rangers.

Agree1 Disagree1

Naw im not going to swallow that lol

Believable21 Unbelievable4

Silly season was well in full swing when mccoist shipped 17 points in 2 months to see celtic go top m8.

Hi ed, mailed you a few times durin the summer wih my inside info, here my first of the january tranfer window, rangers have a agreed a fee for motherwell due murphy and hately. As far as im aware, terms with the players are more or less settled also, and the transfers should be announced in the next few days, when jelavic leaves. Im under the impression the deal rest soley on the sale of jelavic, who should sign for athletico madrid in the next 48hours, i have no idea about the fee but i do know its been agreed and that jelavic wants to go there, and lets just say i dont think any niggling injuries will show in any medical. Ive also been told that we're after john sutton, although hearts are proving more difficult to deal with than rangers thought. Only other player thats been mentioned is novo.

Side note ed, i have a very reliable source, and although i cant name him on here, i can reveal more atleast if u wish to email me

Big davie

Believable12 Unbelievable14

Big liar more like, why would Athletico madrid want Jelavic? that was a made up story in the rags and has been since rubbished by the paper that printed it!

Agree2 Disagree2

Aye Davie ya lying bassa lol. Murphy, Hately and Sutton. Three players the Ibrox hoardes would dread signing for us. There would be a mass boycott if those 3 signed.

Agree3 Disagree3

Heard were gone to be making a move for the striker peter macdonald from greenock Morton?
And were gone to hold talk with the boy donnelly from airdrie? Things lookin up for us noo!

Agree0 Disagree1

Are you big Davie Weir !

Agree3 Disagree1

Sutton,Novo,Murphy & Hateley would b great signings for us if Jelavic left....but all seems fantasy.hope iam wrong tho.

Agree2 Disagree1

I dont want Tom Hately. Tom your dads a legend. Your just not good enough yet.

Agree2 Disagree2

Murphy and hateley arent good enough?oh thats right coz we hve the creme de la creme dont we?get a grip

Agree4 Disagree0

Murphy and hateley arent good enough?oh thats right coz we hve the creme de la creme dont we?get a grip

Agree0 Disagree1

Fair bit of p1sh talk goin on here, the timmy that left the 1st comment the only one talkin sense, sadly.

Agree1 Disagree0

Another reliable source! no chance of 9m for jelavic and its very doubtfull we got any money to spend, remember the 10m black hole, the tax case{big or small take your pick} and the increased deals for "key" players? this has to be funded.lots more than jelavic i think.ortiz, broadfoot, mckay and davis or mcgregor i think must be moved on to progress.are murphy n hately better than whats at ibrox? i dont think so

Agree0 Disagree1

They are as bad if not worse than we already have. Aye world beaters so they are Hately is a lower league English reject and Murphy is just pash. Sutton , he's a farmer no a footballer.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would not turn down Hately plus with his dads history with Rangers he would likely be glad to join Rangers

Agree1 Disagree2

Davie you dont have any freinds dont expect me to beleive a word you say

FATTY

Agree0 Disagree0

As ive said, im more than happy to reveal more about my source to Ed, but im hardly going to broadcast it am i? Ed may remember, i got info on wallace, bedoya and mckay before most people in the summer.
to people saying we wont get £9M for jelavic, i never said we would, all ive been told is a fee has been agreed with athletico madrid, and he wants to go there. as for the players to sign, theyd hardly cost an arm and a leg, motherwell and hearts are both struggling for cash, and nacho novo has 6 months left on his contract.
people can slag me off all they want, we'll see soon enough.

has Big Jock from Newcastle been recently Ed, he also knows my source.

Big Davie

Agree0 Disagree1

Lets just put the Hately thing to bed. He is pants. I a think our midfield is pi$$ poor but there is still no room for Hately.

Jelavic will only go if its 9 million upfront. A bidding war is about to start. WBA manager Roy Hodgson said "He is someone we are very keen on, however there is other options we hear open to him and it is unlikely he will join us however we remain hopefully. Dalgleish at Liverpool has £30M to spend it is exspected he will spend £9M securing Jelavic. Mcoist only likely be given a few million to spend. Boyd, Nova, Templeton if the price is right and two on loan. Mcoist will likely use his close ties with Redknapp and Villa Boas. However Mccoist has a identified a good few targets. We can throw around names all day long, Please use common sense before posting names that they are not already at a club on loan, The 3 club rule doesnt apply and that the situation with work permits before posting.

Believable8 Unbelievable8

What names have been thrown that are already at a club on loan?

Agree0 Disagree0

What names have been thrown that are already at a club on loan?

Agree0 Disagree0

Who will pay £9m for Jelavic be relaistic please!

Agree0 Disagree2

Guys was names mentioned yesterday already out on loan. BTW dalgleish is a keen admirer. If a bidding war start we can only benefit.

Agree1 Disagree0

9 million will never be paid upfront. Jelevic is not liverpool standard.
Aston villa or WBA is a likily destination.
and ally has connestions with villas-boas....think you meant to type villa boss
anyways i would happily take Murphy and Hately and a few loans, hopefully a good striker to replace Jelevic

Agree1 Disagree0

Redknapp and Villa Boas TIES!!

They said that in the summer and it got us nowhere. I think it is Durrant who has these ties and he is a muppet living on his reputation as an almost legend not a top class trainer.

If Kris boyd wants to sign that badly for rangers why isn't he signed yet?

Believable7 Unbelievable5

The windows only just opened up, Mccoist needs to know how much he can spend before sitting down with his agent. He is certain to join until the summer.

Agree0 Disagree1

Probably because Whyte offered him a Lion Bar and a bottle o Tizer in lieu of wages. Mind you judging by the size of Boyd he might just take that.

Agree3 Disagree0

Hopefully because we don't want him. johnger

Agree1 Disagree0

Coisty doesnt fancy boyd. simple as that. well who can blame him, the guys a turkey

Agree1 Disagree1

Players cost money. Do you buy a new car every week? Thats is what these guys are getitng paid so it is something the finance people look at at Gers right now. I have head that there may be money issues at Gers. Has anyone else heard that? lol

Agree3 Disagree0

Blackburn are bad enough without signing edu, if Ian black signs i will never be back at ibrox

Agree2 Disagree0

Sorry to many zeros your right 50,000

Agree1 Disagree0

Don't know donnelly, don't know sutter ,Murphy good player, hate him but he's a good player, where's al the money going were taking in I'm worried

Agree1 Disagree0

Whos interested in jelavic at £7m?

Agree2 Disagree0

750,000 for club foot!! doubt it

Agree3 Disagree0

Ian Black is a thug who is nowhere near good enough to play for Rangers

Agree3 Disagree3

Atleast if Black plays fer us we don't have te worrie about his hatchet man tackles. If he does sign do you think he'll get away with those tackles for us?

Agree1 Disagree1

Wouldn't mind if Black came bit if bite in the midfield need to stop being bullied by Brown and kayal.

Agree2 Disagree1

Stop being bullied by those two seriously?. i hope and i prey that edu goes away.... say it .... i hope and i prey that edu goes away i hope and i prey that edu goes away. is no one interested in mculloch? even on a free? even if we pay him to go?.

steven hughes former motherwell player could do a job for rangers

Believable2 Unbelievable29

A could do a better job than steven hughes
NTYABOW

Agree1 Disagree0

Steven Hughes former Rangers player more like.Who never amounted to what he could have, when he was with us.He is hardly going to now,as he approaches his 30ties.I dont want him he is to injuey prone.Ally

Agree1 Disagree0

Aye like he was amazing last time lol if thats our standard we r finished

Agree1 Disagree0

If you think hughes can do the job, can i pleeease have some of what your smoking?

Agree1 Disagree0

He's just signed a deal with Motherwell until the end of the season (and he's no getting a game with them) so he won't be over our door any time soon.

Agree1 Disagree0

He is getting a game, he played 90mins yesterday

the only players rangers will bring in this window are novo and boyd no one else will come in

Believable13 Unbelievable18

Well thats a right boot to the baws then, thanks for telling us though, do u have this weeks euromillions numbers so i can win that and give rangers some money to get at least one more player in?

Agree1 Disagree0

NOVO N BOYD, Why not go the full hog and bring back the De Boer brothers tae.
You need to laugh is this not the same players Who every gers fan said they could live without ?.
THE WHTYE KNIGHT AND SALLY ARE JUST AS GOOD AS THE CRANKIES.

Agree0 Disagree1

Would tend to agree novo n boyd in jelly oot

Agree0 Disagree1

As I've prev said only signing donnelly from airdrie looks a great prospect. Whyte waiting ally saved his job on Monday if we hadn't won he was out

Agree0 Disagree1

And you think signing a boy from Airdrie will save his job lol are you his father or something as your defo not a rangers supporter if our way out is signing a kid from Airdrie lol

Agree1 Disagree0

Sorry you misunderstand because of the tax case and whytes lack of confidence in ally. He's not giving him any money only player coming in will be donnelly no I'm not his father never meant that he would save allys job just the fact that players leaving and only one youngster coming in. Been a bear for 50 years

Agree0 Disagree1

Ryan Donnelly of Airdrie is a fantastic young player, plays very much like Naisy, My young cousin plays for Airdrie and who also had a trial with Rangers and Celtc, raves about him. This fella would make bendikson look like a fool.

Agree0 Disagree1

Lol thats very funny considering he struggled against Albion Rovers and Forfar!! We are Rangers not Dundee Utd!!get a grip!

Rangers have made an enquiry to Wigan Athletic about the availability of James McArthur and Franco Di Santo, both loan deals till the end of the season.

-Confirmed by Wigan officials tonight.

Believable22 Unbelievable22

Where have you seen this at not on wigans page

Agree1 Disagree0

Where did you see that m8? was it on wigans web site that wid be two good signings

Agree0 Disagree0

Di Santo would be great to have at Ibrox
Hopefully there can be an agreement

Agree0 Disagree0

Nothing on wigan website, more football manager talk

Agree0 Disagree0

I have looked at every possible site about this and found he haw another made up dribble if you ask me

Agree0 Disagree1

Ed what have you heard {Ed001's Note - nothing about this happening, seems unlikely to me.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Is di santo not only on loan to Wigan ??

Agree0 Disagree0

McArthur was talking openly about possibility of a deal at the Old Firm game.

Agree0 Disagree0

McArthur is realistic but wigan would never let franco di santo go unless they've got a striker or two going in

Agree0 Disagree0

Roberto Martinez has already came out and stated that he cannot afford to let anyone go in January due to the size of his squad - it is tiny!

Agree0 Disagree0

No, Di Santo signed for Wigan on a 3 year deal in August 2010 for £2m, not on loan there.

Agree0 Disagree0

No way hose, do u think rangers could afford their wages? were struggling to pay for fixing the big screens!

Agree1 Disagree0

Big screens have been renewed mate, if you went to ibrox you would know that.

Agree2 Disagree0

There was talk of this boy being valued at 15 million last year whats going on is he is coming back to the spl

Agree0 Disagree0

1, we canny pay £25,000 a week
2, McArthur plays for ROI
3, It will be loan players only

Agree2 Disagree4

Thats McCarthy, not McCarthur chum

Agree2 Disagree0

Mcarthur is scottish your thinking of macartney (spelling)

Agree0 Disagree0

Whats the crack here?? are we just lettin anybody on this site?!

word of advice - if your that clueless abt football u dont even know the difference between mccarthy & mccarthur then dont waste everyone elses time but posting anything cos ur clearly not a rangers fan and know hee haw abt football!!!!

Rangers on the trail of Salihi

No idea who he is but was told by football agent that he's our number one target once Jelavic goes.

Believable4 Unbelievable12

Hamdi Salihi rapid vienna, cant see it but u never know

Agree0 Disagree0

Hamdi salihi: rapid vienna forward. To good for us, much better than jela. Doubt we'll get him

Agree0 Disagree0

I think it is the Stoke forward, the Turkish internationalist I got wind of that as well just on loan

Agree0 Disagree0

He is albanian plays for rapid wein of austria 27 year old mid fielder i think how good you will need to speak to ally .

Agree0 Disagree0

Hamdi Salihi is another striker from Rapid Wien same place we got jellyfish! Would prob cost about 1.5-2.5 million....

Agree0 Disagree0

Salihi
is a albanian player who plays with rapid wien he has a good scoring record for them 66-44 and is nicknamed the bomber

Agree0 Disagree0

Correct that text he is a striker

Agree0 Disagree0

Albanian guy big striker good scoring record plays in Austria with rapid wein, don't know how much he would cost tho.

Agree0 Disagree0

Date of birth: 19.01.1984
Place of birth: Shkodër
Age: 27
Height: 1,85
Nationality: Albania
Position: Striker - Centre Forward
Foot: right
Market value: 975.000 £
1.100.000

Agree1 Disagree0

He played with jelavic at rapid Vienna and is the top scorer for them, over six ft tall and scored 36 in 70 for them. Albanian international as well

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm assuming you mean the 27 year old albanian striker Hamdi Salihi who used to play alongside Nikica Jelavic at Rapid Vienna?

Agree0 Disagree1

His contract expires at the end of the season so he'd perhaps be available on a 'cutprice' deal. However English teams want him.....

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes, that's the one, Hamdi Salihi. Been tolds we've been watching him for some time and sounded him out about coming here.

Ally should bust a gut to get Weiss for free in summer or maybe now for cheap. He has flair and creativity that we desperately lack and the only reason he was inconsistent was that Walter didn't start him consistently.

Fraser

Believable24 Unbelievable15

I'm a big fan of Weiss but can't see this happening. He virtually begged Rangers to try for him last Summer but Ally McCoist didn't so much as enquire about his availability. He is also under contract with Man City until December 2012 so even if we wanted him now or in the Summer we would have to pay decent money for him - something we don't have.

Sorry.

Agree0 Disagree1

We cant sign him unless espanyol agree to let him go back to city hes on a season long loan

Agree1 Disagree0

Decent player but only that.would frustrate most of the time

Agree1 Disagree0

Weiss will not come for the money we could offer.

Agree0 Disagree1

That's a big gut to bust

Agree0 Disagree0

We have signed a player who is twice as good as weiss, His name is Sone Aluko. Bargain of the century

Agree1 Disagree1

Aye bargain of the century!!!! he had to pay his own transfer. twice as good as weiss?. so good infact he went 6 months without a club as a free agent. he needs to learn to pass the f1n9 ball and stop falling over it.

Summary of the main transfer stories regarding Rangers

IN:

Nacho Novo (Sporting Gijón)
Kris Boyd (Free)
Jerry Bengtson (Motagua)
Jorge Claros (Motagua)
Scott Sutter (BSC Young Boys)
Graham Dorrans (West Brom)

OUT:

Nikica Jelavić (West Brom, Liverpool, QPR, Everton, Sunderland, Leicester, Swansea, Newcastle, Atlético Madrid)
Steven Davis (Aston Villa)
Kirk Broadfoot (Bristol City)

Believable10 Unbelievable23

Dorrans wont come to rangers

Davis wont leave either

Agree1 Disagree0

WBA already said they will not sell dorrans

Agree0 Disagree0

Atletico defo arent interested in him buddy. Would be good if we did sign they players but.

Mon the teddy bears!

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers down from 33/1 to 5/2 in the space of 6weeks to enter administration! Don't think we'll get anybody inn bye the way things r lookin

Agree1 Disagree0

I think we can only sell Jelavic once. But 9 times would be great.

Agree0 Disagree0

Big jel will leave defo...which i hate to say, Boyd and Novo will come in. as much as i love wee nacho hes not Rangers class anymore and defo not the man to replace big Jel.

Agree1 Disagree0

Which bookies do you go to lol?

Greenandwhitebetting.com

Only thing i wouldn't want to happen is davis leaving

Agree0 Disagree0

Boyd and Novo on £5000 a week? Get a grip, no money for transfers and a minimum wage structure for any frees or bosmans you bring in.

Agree0 Disagree0

On Novo not being Ranngers class anymore. He's currently playing in the best league in the World, i'd think that he'll pprobably be playing at better standard now than he was when he 1st came to Rangers. Don't use Ortiz as an example, he's not had time to settle in a new country, Novo is almost half Scottish, he knows the league and knows what it means to play for Rangers so he's well worth a punt

news from ibrox , manchester united coming in for our goalkeeper , sir alex thinks that he could be the difference between manchester united loosing nor winning the league

Believable19 Unbelievable28

Good grief!! Give it up!!

GDog
WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

Aaaaarrrgh stop posting pure and utter Joe beese he wouldnt make there 5th choice. u should do stand up comedy! Angry bear. x

Agree0 Disagree2

Mcgregor is a good keeper no doubt but will never be signed by any decent epl as he is prone to lapses in concentration and is too short as compared to the other keepers around

Agree0 Disagree0

COMMENT 2 :

You are not a rangers fan. Mcregor is better than De Gea and NO true blue would say he wouldn'y make 5th choice, as for the rumour, no

Agree2 Disagree0

All you have too do is look at the facts the goal keepers at united are they any better than ma greger ,no I don't think so ,before end off week he will be off .

Agree0 Disagree0

Mcgreoger's lapses? haha. Did u watch the west brom vs man u game at the start of the season? De gea is prone to the odd f**k up anaw

Agree1 Disagree0

Surely loosing and nor winning are one in the same?

Agree1 Disagree0

Man utd dont have the slightest intrest in shagger he`s quality in the spl but down there he`s just another keeper, they have 3 international goalies that are very capable, just spiel if u ask me

Agree0 Disagree0

There was interest from Man Utd 2 seasons ago as back up for van der Sar and to ease him into the team but Sir Alex turned his attention to De Gea whom he tried to sign then to ease him into the team.

Sir Alex will stick with De Gea. He won't admit to such an expensive mistake after 6 months.

McGregor isn't interested in leaving so it would need to be a team like a top 6 Prem team to make him interested

Agree0 Disagree0

Utttterrrrrrrrrrrrr colin nishhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, lol, the rangers pantomime continues,ho ho ho

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't see it, especially with Anders Lindegaard, he's a better keeper than De Gea

Agree0 Disagree0

To the guy that said shagger would only be intrested in a top 6 team , what are man united then ,

Bristol Citys David Clarkson to join Rangers till the end of the season details will be worked out within the next few weeks.

Believable7 Unbelievable21

He's garbage, doesn't get a game at Bristol city. A rite Celtic fan and I know that doesn't always matter as it's all about getting wages etc but no chance of him coming. Thank god for that as that really wld b scraping the barrel.

Thomas Kind Bendiksen has rejected a contract offer from Rangers and agreed to sign for Tromso in his native Norway.

The 22-year-old has agreed a three-year deal with the Norwegian side and has targeted a first team place with the Tippeligaen runners-up.

Kind Bendiksen had been with Rangers since 2007 but suffered a serious knee injury shortly after his arrival from Harstad IL. Though he scored in a friendly against Hamburg in November the midfielder found his opportunities limited and opted not to renew his contract at Ibrox.

"I had a very good contract offer from Rangers but I refused it,” Kind Bendiksen said.
“Tromsø IL is a good club and it ambitions to be even better.

“I aim to play my way to a permanent place in the team and look forward to an exciting season, both at home and not least in the Europa League.”

Rangers manager Ally McCoist had earlier resigned himself to losing the player.

Its such a shame we lose players who hardly got a bloody chance. Should have been in the team instead of the likes of Davis,McCullock or Edu the past few months. What are the point of these younger players???

Agree0 Disagree0

Wish the young lad all the best, a real talent and with proper development and staying injury free he could be something incredibly special. Once again we have shot ourselves in the foot....For me he'd have been the youngster that broke into the first team ahead of a very bland and below average Wylde etc

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets get one thing straight!! Bendikson had a fairly major injury, and as a result was unable to play. Rangers supported him and rehabilitated him. He then buggers off and sticks 2 fingers up at us. And you are wishing him all the best. The truth is as soon as he was available McCoist included him!

Football is p!ssing me off more and more. What you should be saying is GOOD RIDDANCE!!

GDog
WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

In my opinion he thinks himself better than he is! Just broke into the team after the club helped him past a bad injury and then jumps ship! We dont need players like that!

Agree1 Disagree0

"tromso is a good club and has ambitions to be even better" dear dear.small norweigen club with ambitions a better proposition than rangers?i find this deeply disturbing as i thought this kid could play

Agree0 Disagree0

Gdog my sentiments excatly mate, we look after him give him the best possible support and what does he do? piss off first chance he gets? GOOD RIDDANCE

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats what we get to many young players dont get a chance at rangers

Agree0 Disagree0

Here's the reason young players don't get a chance at Rangers. The bloody Rangers fans use every young player as a scapegoat when things aren't going well. Alan Hutton, Charlie Adam etc etc

Agree0 Disagree0

Gdog you said it. it woul be a real shame if that injury flared up and that wee crappy club he has joined sent him to the royal for rehab. enjoy the rest of your career as a no one son you will be the latest in a llllllllllllllong line of players to regret leaving rangers fc. bye bye close the door on your way out.

gers looking at big striker sure enough. name i am hearing is lee miller the ex dons player. decent target man and will do a job for us. and for what its worth he is from a gers family, his uncles are season holders

Believable12 Unbelievable12

Aye ok. One of the worst players i've ever seen. At least make something credible up eh.

Agree0 Disagree0

Iam from Carlisle and he is a decent player, but Carlisle to Gers might be a bit of a leap. Plus the fact that Carlisle are planning a new ground, a promo push, and only signed him in the pre season seem to make me think he wouldnt be that keen on a move to us.

Agree1 Disagree0

Lol look Lee .. we all know its you that keeps posting .... bloody every transfer window u come on here and link yourself with a move to us, just cos Aluko caome out trumps on scratch card, and ur no even close to his level ..... accept it the sheep was your level you will never be good enough to fill the blue jersey ..... til the next window lol :oP

Just heard from someone inside rangers jelavic refused to play but ally just said he has an injury to cover it.

Believable21 Unbelievable17

Can't see jelavic doing that. Doesnt seem like his attitude

Agree1 Disagree1

BS - He HAS a groin problem, has had it for a couple of weeks but played through but the past few days has been hell. and i know this, not because i know his aunties dogs gran's pups goldfish's owner's petstore owner, but because my brother works at murray park. Sale would have gone thru this window but not now because of this. After the euros....

Agree0 Disagree1

Seems likely, was goin to go on strike at vienna when we were trying to sign him

Agree0 Disagree0

There was loads of people saying that at the game yesterday

Agree0 Disagree0

If that was true he will never play again for the gers, it's not what we are about, healy and fleck were great against 'well

Agree0 Disagree0

Total balls! No way would Jelavic do that it is an injury and yes he prob away and been playing pish but he has always thanked Gers for giving him his UK break and always said he wants the EPL.

Agree2 Disagree0

Jelavic hasn't been able to train since the old firm game due to this groin problem. He may well have had his head turned but he is not feigning injury. He was expected to start light training and spend time with medical team today but all players where advised not to travel to Murray Park due to damage caused to Murray Park by the high winds.

I have heard from a friend who works in Man City's store that hargreaves and savic are going to Rangers on load till end of season.
The only cash rangers will spend is for Andy driver and Sandaza and that will come from the add on cash with the swap from west brom with dorrans for jelavic.
The 2 young boys from south america will not get work permits

I have been told the Rangers will be speaking to Kris Boyd's representatives in the next couple of days, looking at the possibility of a deal till the end of the year.

Scout Ian Murray has also been in Italy, Turkey and Greece in the past few weeks what I have heard from this is that he went looking for youth prospects.

A high flying championship side made enquries about Davis but there was a massive gap in both teams valuation of the player. Rangers are not expecting any follow up on that but noises coming from agents is that the club will be happy to sell for around 3 million.

Craig Whyte can't make money available until after the HMRC stuff is resolved (common knowledge I know) so don't expect big spending.

As for the comments on there being no chance for Templeton, it is true that he is a Celtic fan but his family are split 50-50. The lad is keen on a move to Rangers, his own agent and his own father have both advised the player it is the better option for his career. The main stumbling block is Romanov's Rangers Tax. Even in Hearts current position he isn't wanting to do business with Rangers to the anger of some board members.

The Mexican

Believable11 Unbelievable11

Just an Edit: Neil Murray is the scout I mentioned. I always call him Ian my minds not working yet this morning far too much drink last night.

My source is part of a syndicate that own of a newly formed sports company that has multiple agents and footballers on it's books.

Most deals these days are brokered by agents and then taken to the clubs. They have links with all Scottish teams and has started expanding into England with a network that has ties in all of the major European leagues.

Ally's dropping hints everywhere preparing us for novo!wrong move for me.young players wont touch us with a barge pole if they dont see a route of progression to the first team.lennon seen this and dropped the age of his team to around 22 in an old firm game.mckay, ortiz and bedoya dont seem to be in ally's plans.i cant see us getting 3m for davis as he seems to dznt seem to be rated down there,6m for jella looks realistic add broadfoot, mcculloch to the ally buys n you get maybie another 3m this plus giving the younger players a chance is the way forward for us.hemmings must be used before novo, hero that he is,his time has gone.boyd should neva wear our jersey again.left for greed n back for cash

I would be happy to get 3 mil for Davis. No one will give it to us!

I dont thing riordon and occonnor (spelling with both) would be good replacements for jela but would like to see both signed give us a bit of back up in the final third!

Believable6 Unbelievable13

No danger, why would we pay the transfer fees when we can get nono and the spl all time top goalscorer (boyd) for free.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't understand the desire by many fans to sign Riordan. If he wasn't free would he be good enough? No! Therefore we shouldn't be signing him anyway.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't want either of them. Both would think they are billy big b****cks as soon as they got in the door at Ibrox. Think they would do more harm than good. Leave the two Leith jakeys where they are!

Andy Polo who is a 17year old striker flr Peruvian club Universatery (spelling) is a target but all depends who else is intrested as his club need to sell their assests and he may attract lots of intrest. Scott Strutter, Nacho Novo, Lewis McGugan, liam ridgewell, Gary O'Connor, Francisco Sandaza, derek Riordan, david templeton, andy driver, ryan stevenson and hamilton youngster Ali Crawford are possibly, POSSIBLY, a list of targets for Rangers.

Whilst Jelavic will go, Hodgson says he wants him but wont use Dorrans as levradge. Davis will.stay as will McGreggor, however Wylde may leave.

Ed is the Rumors true about jerry bengtson and novo might be rangers players this january {Ed001's Note - Bengtson's agent is certainly trying to get him a move to Rangers, I don't know whether Rangers are actually interested or not. As for Novo, he is training with Rangers during the winter break and people are putting 2 and 2 together and getting 576.}

Believable7 Unbelievable7

Who is jerry bengston and scott sutter {Ed001's Note - Bengston is a Honduran forward, plays for a club called Motagua, can't say I have seen him play. Sutter is a full back for Young Boys of Berne, he was given massive media spotlight during Spurs Champions League run when the two clubs faced each other, due to him being a Spurs fan. He was certainly in the running for MOTM in both matches, so he might be good at handling the pressure that would come with the Old Firm environment.}
