The board won't sack murty until the seasons over even if he loses all the remaining games. The plan is to bring in an experienced coach in the summer.

31 Mar 2018 23:35:03
Personally I think they will keep murty as he's a cheap option especially after announcing loans off £17.7 m and also a loss off £1.2 m .

01 Apr 2018 01:31:51
King has already explained why we are in debt and also the difference the new kit deal and kit sales will make in the coming years as we are still paying for the way we where ran when whyte was in charge and green this board are playing this very well at the moment and if u disagree the that s your right but we will see in 5 years

01 Apr 2018 10:00:44
Morning bears what does my nut it about murty is the fact he can't change a game doesn't no who to use his subs yes he made a forced sub yesterday but if no for a fact that if windass didn't get injured he would never have made a sub a fear the worst in the run in to end of season and this semi the board need to let fans no soon as renewal will be up ahead and it's goat to be spot on from the word go

Stirling, no one has to explain why Rangers are in debt as it is very simple. The reason your club are in debt is because they spend more than they make, i. e. you are a loss making entity.

With regards to the current retail deal, none of us know what it is and Dave King is a proven liar so his words can't be trusted. When the old deal was allegedley scrapped Dave King told everyone that Rangers ripped up the contract but later we found out that he had paid Ashley 3 million pound, so what else did he not tell us?

By the way even the best possible retail deal will not reverse your fortunes as that will only bring about 4 million profit extra a season and you are already having to borrow more than that to balance the books.

You are probably not aware but if you read the last set of audited accounts for Rangers you will know that Rangers currently owe over 41 million in loans, half of which are soft loans to the current directors and the other half are third party loans. This figure does not include the 3 million secured loan from Close Brothers or any money Dave King said he would pump in this season, circa 4.5 million. If you add these amounts to the last known debt level, the current debt is close to 50 million.

You don't have to be a financial wizard to know that Rangers' can't continually spend more than they make or they will reach a point where they cannot meet payments when they are due. At the moment Rangers revenue for next season has already taken a 4 million hit because of the close brother loan repayment, which will be paid using next season's season ticket money. This means borrowing will increase next season, unless Rangers can find a new revenue stream, which is unlikely.

A word of advice for everyone, is don't trust a word Dave King says, as his list of lies are extensive. Only last summer he told the Rangers fans to buy season tickets and that all proceeds would go to buying players. However, he later stated that the summer signings were financed by loans from current directors. Then recently we found out that Rangers only spent 3.5 million last summer, which is no were near the amount brought in from season ticket sales.

Rogers@ your talking drivel!

01 Apr 2018 17:07:49
@Punter - Does the truth hurt you that much that you need to resort to putting your fingers in your ears?

01 Apr 2018 18:16:21
Do you know as much about your own club? I know nothing about the mob other than I can smell them before I see them

01 Apr 2018 18:50:25
Rodgers, Rangers are already in trouble, but sorry Rangers supporters won't accept what you say although if they checked up as I did on what you said it is true. if this continues sadly, this time it will be the end of Rangers after only 5-6 year history

02 Apr 2018 09:29:43
Good to see you 'checked up on facts' shame you didn't check the facts before the boring old line about us being 5 years old. Here is one for you hibsboy, the crowning glory of your club is one scottish cup win in 100 odd years that you celebrate like you won the champions league.

you support an irrelevant, provisional club that no one outside a single Edinburgh post code cares about. you support a team that could exist for the next 200 years and have no chance of ever winning the league and will forever live off hand downs and cast offs off your Glasgow chums. so in all fairness don't be surprised that no rangers fan is ever going to value what you say in the slightest.

02 Apr 2018 09:27:39
hibsboy, come back when you can put together a coherent sentence.

02 Apr 2018 12:50:41
Thank goodness we've got rodgersatwork to explain things to us! . Can't imagine what it is like to have to go on a rivals rumour page and spend time and effort writing a lot of nonsense to find some kind pleasure. Sad

02 Apr 2018 16:43:09
I can assure you that everything I have said is true and I know if it wasn't, then Union Jack would have been pointing out the errors.

As they say, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. Therefore, it is up to you if you wish to ignore the truth.

02 Apr 2018 21:50:53
Snell at least we have won a major trophy more than than the rangers have lol ggtth

31 Mar 2018 21:47:47
For whatever reason the players don't have the bottle to play for Rangers. They didn't turn up in the 1st half. We got bullied. 2nd half was better but it falls short of what is expected at Rangers. We need to get our recruitment right in the summer. Is it the manager or the players or both. How do we fix it? When you look at our squad did you ever think they were capable of winning the league?

31 Mar 2018 23:36:49
Rangers will never win this league for at least another 5 years they just don't have the backing or the same money and king has a lot to answer to as he's not helped rangers 1 bit x

01 Apr 2018 01:43:01
Hibsboy away talk pish mate we are still paying for what happened under previous owners i. e. Kit deals and merchandise with these things now coming into our favour instead of Ashley we will see the rewards but I do agree that it will be at least two more years of shi t till we get it right

01 Apr 2018 11:47:53
five years would hurt a lot hibsboy, still better than never to be fair

01 Apr 2018 15:27:32
With the amount invested in players and coach in the summer (regardless of us making an arse of yet another recruitment window) we should have at least challenged this year. We spent more than anyone else did and i hate to keep saying the same things but we are deluded to think things are going to be ok in 2 years. We would need a sugar daddy for that and they ain't looking at us. The Dhims have gone backwards and nobody fears glasgow rangers anymore we are to soft and an easier scalp than we have ever been especially at home. To many soft arses who go missing and centre halfs that would lose in a foot race with big belly Boyd.

31 Mar 2018 14:24:09
Irrespective what I hear, De Boer would bring more creative, fast, and incisive passing than what Murty is showing against Well and as a world class defender it wouldn't be difficult to improve on our defence today.

31 Mar 2018 15:25:27
I don't buy that 'world class defender' logic - Crystal Palace were as open as a sieve under him, and Davie Weir made our defence worse, not better.

31 Mar 2018 15:36:17
shocking first half, got out of jail with a soft penalty and a goal from Murph that could have hit 6 or 7 different legs on the way through. Not good enough guys. We are to easily bullied. Great to see Dorrans back, he will make a difference in the run in. I still struggle to see more than 6 points for us after the split.

31 Mar 2018 16:24:05
Can we please get away from all this rubbish about Murty getting the job beyond this season. I am now seriously concerned about that mob winning 10 in a row because we are miles away from Celtic. We have loads of midfielders and plenty of cover but the quality isn’t there. As for Morelos, I will say one last time, the guy is useless!

31 Mar 2018 17:23:21
Buff plays well as a target and link up player. I would love to see him play with a poacher type striker. That poacher would not be Cumdog in my view. He is worse than rotten. Championship (Scottish Championship) player at best. The unfortunate nature of the game is that we seem to be playing the type of football that the two strikers we sold for pennies to Ipswich would be gobbling up. Waggy and the yellow card man Joey G.

31 Mar 2018 17:39:09
Big cliff
Neither Waghorn or Garner have scored many goals recently

31 Mar 2018 17:40:11
I totally disagree with your statement RonnieR9 that Morelos is useless, however i would have definitely sold him for 11 million!

31 Mar 2018 18:05:24
Ronnie R9 why would Morelos get it for today’s performance I though he played well, he was holding the hall up well his work rate was good he didn’t get any clear chances that I can think about in last minute he should have squared it instead of going for goal but apart from that he was ok, our defence was a shambles to weak our midfield were bullied we allowed Mothereell to dictate the game second to every ball

31 Mar 2018 18:11:54
My point ArthurD was that we ping balls into the box from both sides and they would have potentially been a good pairing to have in the box in that scenario.

31 Mar 2018 21:17:17
Deboer. really?

Is no-one even slightly concerned he lasted 9 games at Inter then 4 games at Palace?

Redknapp or Warnock for me with a decent budget for a new spine; 2 commanding cntr halves, ball winner and a proper cntr fwd (moult wld do) and let's start again

again

31 Mar 2018 21:17:35
He doesn’t look up to make a straight forward pass, getting caught offside far to often in games and simply not clinical enough in front of goal. If we were offered 11m then there is no way that would have been rejected regardless of what the club say

01 Apr 2018 10:48:12
ok ronnie so who is better than him in our team. and if we were to buy a first class striker how much would we need to pay.

01 Apr 2018 11:16:38
Don't know what game I was watching yesterday, but I felt sorry for morelos. He did some great work up front holding the ball up, nice lay offs, always the out ball.

The midfield offered little and Martin is back up at best.

If we can't grab the midfield, then windass is a man short.

01 Apr 2018 15:43:17
He is the best option we have which sums up why we’re in the position we are in. There are plenty of strikers out there but morelos, Cummings, miller and Herrera are not the answer going forward next season if we are to overtake that other lot!
We need a clear out with the exception of one or two! Standards at Ibrox have dropped so low that some rangers fans think there is a player in Morelos! No premiership team or championship team would touch him with a barge pole!

02 Apr 2018 12:59:37
Sorry Ronnie but your havering. Morelos isn't in great form just now but our problems aren't going forward, its defending. Signing a defender on loan who couldn't get a game in a poor Norwich side, playing players out of position (dorrans) these are just a couple of more important issues that seem much more pressing to me.

02 Apr 2018 18:17:44
Problems not going forward! Are you for real? How many implant chances has Morelos passed up which would have us in a far better position than we are currently in! Yes defensively we’re very poor but I’m just not having it with buffalo, he is a poor player

03 Apr 2018 13:55:43
. Morelos is 2nd top scorer in league, think windass is 3rd top scorer. Morelos does miss some easy chances but he's not the finished article. I think if we defended better as a team we'd be much better off.

04 Apr 2018 11:13:55
Rangers are the top scorers in the league. Its defensively where we struggle

31 Mar 2018 10:13:15
Good morning gentlemen. Friend's in Amsterdam say word is that DeBoer has been looking @ property in the west coast. Clyde Valley but not sure exactly where!

31 Mar 2018 11:12:24
Heard the same rumour

31 Mar 2018 12:03:36
Hopefully we’ll hear something official about this soon 🤞

31 Mar 2018 12:04:49
need an in your face manager with an in your face team. Warnock a good shout from previous post but think he will stay with Cardiff in the premiership.

31 Mar 2018 12:23:38
Warnock has just signed a new deal with Cardiff so don't think he will be next manager. Good shout if he was available

31 Mar 2018 14:40:30
Nonsense. We already have a manager!

31 Mar 2018 14:48:36
We need a manager with who can kick ass murty is to soft

31 Mar 2018 14:53:18
Murty is to soft we need a manager we need someone like sounes

01 Apr 2018 00:19:33
Apart from just having signed a new deal with Cardiff, Warnock is the same age as Walter! For crying out loud, Souness was right when he said 99% of fans hadn't a bloody clue.
