I see in the newspaper today (express) that Allan mcgregor has had loan moves to both reading and Wigan blocked. I said when he signed a 2 year deal with the Turks that he would be back sooner rather than later.

I think it is Lear he isn't too happy over there and who can blame him can't think of any scottish players that have last over there recently?

Firstly do you think it would/could happen and also would you welcome him back??

Jamie {The Ed039's Note - Not a chance in hell will he be back)

Even if we played in the SPL this season we couldn't afford his wages I think it will be a very long time before we have any 25k a week players again if indeed we ever do. I think the worst of everything now right enough because I was one of the were too big a club to be liquidated brigade I don't set myself up for any disappointments just what I see on the pitch week in week out lol. If Alan wanted to come back that would be great just incase anymore of these lower division teams are able to produce strikes like the Montrose player did at Ibrox on Saturday.

I can blame him.

He deserted Rangers and followed the cash, despite the warnings from Boyd, Miller and everyone else.

As they say, he'll slap it into him.

Mcsh*gger is another money grabbing person that's not welcome at IBROX

Agree2 Disagree1

I wouldn't have him back for the half time draw. Same goes for Naismith and co who are simply mercenaries. Maybe nothing wrong with that if you go for the whole, "it's a short career" train of thought, but they showed their colours when we needed them and they were hardly struggling to make a living. No thanks boys, let's bring through our youth and bring a few experienced heads in when we can in September.

Good to see a Celt fan talking sence wish more of use were like that but aye agree wi what your saying mate there all talk because they have the cash if the shoe was on the other foot wouldn't be that eh why you think there's so much Scottish managers because we ken what we are talking about

Agree0 Disagree2

Is he in Istanbul? It is a much better city than Glasgow so why would he want to come back here? {The Ed039's Note -Thats a judgement call, TBH I would much rather live in Glasgow)

Agree0 Disagree0

''He's not happy over there and who could blame him?''. . Have you ever been abroad, Istanbul or Glasgow? I know where I'd rather be.

Agree0 Disagree0

Istanbul. Sorry guys but Glasgow has become a s**te hole of a place {The Ed039's Note - Have you ever been to Istanbul?)

Agree0 Disagree0

He's one of the top goalies in the UK and a Rangers man at heart no matter what anybody says so I'd welcome him back with open arms!

Agree1 Disagree1

Don't want him back and the same goes for the other pretend Rangers fans Naismith, Davis & Lafferty who walked out on the club in our darkest hour

Have I missed something? Have any of these players you wouldn't welcome back expressed any desire to return to Ibrox?

Agree0 Disagree0

Im surprised mcgregor wasnt offered a contract in the epl when he abandoned us. If that useless fat rolly-polly can get into a relegation battling team then who only dives to catch pies, then mcgregor would of been a hit

Agree0 Disagree0

I do think Allan will be back one day he done the right thing leaving to turkey in my eyes (not in the spotlight) he was a ger for 16 odd years so to call him unfaithful etc is out of order the likes of Naismith who gloom on motd every week turn my stomach and wouldn't be welcome back

Agree0 Disagree0

The guy who mentioned Davies as one of the pretend Rangers players is talking sh*te that guy would die for rangers Davies is a rangers man thro' and thro' and always will be

Just heard a rumour rangers might offer a pre contract to ex celtic under 19 captain Michael tidser of Greenock Morton apparently ally is a big fan you heard anything about this ee {The Ed039's Note - Considering he is under contract until 2014 then I think this is nonsense. Although Kenny McDowell has watched him in the past)

Believable12 Unbelievable14

As good a signing as he may be, you are incorrect! I used to play against tidser often and have met him numerous times, he and his best pal carlo monti are both avid celtic fans

Rangers have looked at tidser a few times over the past two years wouldn't say he's consistent enough to get a game at ibrox m8

What does being a "avid celtic fan" have to do with signing for rangers. We have had plenty before. As ed pointed out, he is under contract till 2014 so is totally irrelevant but your a bit of a fud to have a comment like that!

Agree0 Disagree1

I remember seeing Celtic youth games and thought Tidser was going to have a big future along with Graeme Carey (and more) But both are now with Morton and St Mirren respectively with others with similar stories.
The trend to buy abroad and the termination of 'reserve' football means a lot of talent is out there if you look.

First time in years there's not rumours flying around of rangers trying to sign every foreign player and his dog but does anyone know of any pre contracts in the offing?

Jas {The Ed039's Note - No pre contracts at the moment, when the outcome of restructuring is finalised/postponed then something might happen, but dont expect to see anything announced until then)

Believable9 Unbelievable5

Is the sfl chairmen not having a meeting today bout the the proposed reconstruction of the game
