Why do you think its "light at the end of the tunnel" this could open a nightmare scenario where the whole shambles has been crooked from the start and people like Craig White etc were involved in the buy out, if that's the case all agreements for getting back into the League will be see to be broken and as such possible problems with our registration? ie kicked out if the hoops lot etc get on the bloody band wagon.

Offer him a deal and get him to spill the beans. Just maybe he will drop the lot of them in it. The guy is a real snake in the grass.

Speaking to a well heeled accountant Ceptic supporter who informed a number of Rangers fans at a golf outing on Saturday that trying to prove what CG done was a criminal act will be extremely difficult almost impossible. He firmly believes from day one of the takeover Green was Ashleys front man with the deal to get hold of Rangers retail sales. The fact that Green signed the worst business deal in history is not a crime in its self but trying to prove a criminal act was committed for a jury of laymen to understand is the problem. Other financial irregularities alleged committed by the CG regime could be his undoing but whether the procurator fiscal would proceed with the case is another issue.

Tryebluedrew, don't you worry about that mate, the crown are doing this because they think they have a good case,it he whole lot will come out in court mate,I wouldn't be surprised if they have not already offer one of the accused a deal, and let's be honest mate they might be a shower of con men but one of them will have took a deal already,or will take one if offered it,they don't want to land in a Scottish jail under any circumstances,

I'm sorry but our club got ripped to shreds first by white and then by green, asset stripped from day 1 and we were deliberately put into administration from white withholding paye,,it was all corrupt from the minute David Murray let that wee rat in the door,,I mean c,mon he even used the same firm for admin as who dealt with legal papers to get his hand on Rangers to begin with,,but Craig White won't go down alone that much I'm sure of,,I know fans will be worried when they go to court but we need to know the full extent of what really happened because Rangers were in 18ml bank debt,,which was manageable at the time,,and unfortunately what happened to us I hope the people are held accountable

Your right, Lloyds called in the money and Murray sold to whyte without doing any due diligence.

The whole whyte era followed by liquidation then green takeover was all part of the same scam. Fronted by green and whyte and facilitated by duff+Phelps/colloyer Bristol law. Look at how much money they have made out of it!

Exactly how much Ashley was involved in this is debatable as police think he was but can't make a case. Would love to know his explanation for having a meeting with green and whyte prior to administration- there is an injunction to stop press reporting this.

Green was a front man like whyte- the sad thing is the true villains are still unknown and will get away with it.

TRUE BLUE DREW

Much as it pains me I am inclined to agree with your accountant guy. I have no special info but criminal intent rather than idiocy must be proved for a criminal case. Even a crook who can use idiocy as an excuse would get off.

The recent explanation for no prosecution in the killing of the people in the bin lorry incident is spot on here as well.
(Apologies for usein git as an example)

I have to agree. Trying to distinguish what is illegal and what is downright crooked (i.e. scam deals to sell shirts for Ashley) is going to be difficult. As sickening as Green is he has no doubt covered his tracks and it may well end up that he is termed a bad businessman and not a crook.

As I have said from the start of this shambles though and will say again, WHERE IS MURRAY IN ALL OF THIS? He is the one who is solely responsible for the whole mess with overspending, lack of investment and a devil-may-care attitude and yet apparently nobody seems bothered even to point a finger at him?

The best thing we can do is just forget it all: let the Board sort the club out, let the coppers and the court sort the crooks out and enjoy the football that The Hat is providing us with.

Jac the crown only need to look at these same crooks and there dealings at Sheffield we'd,exact same well executed plan, once could be judged as an innocent mistake but twice,no not in my eyes, there greed will send them down, imo

To all the doubters on here like ALLY, MULLAD, BILLYB etc, I am pretty confident your fears are going to be eased over the next few months. The info I have is Charles Green is heading for handcuffs and Craig Whyte is going to jail, there has been a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes and King and the 3 Bears have got to the bottom of a lot of the mess they were left to deal with, they have been working with senior police officers, a number of the spivs associated with Rangers over the last few years are in it up to their neck. Ashley will bail out soon before he gets dragged into it. There is also significant investment waiting from not only King but George Letham as well, he has some extremely wealthy business partners in Turkey who are willing to get involved. I know no matter what happens certain fans will find something to moan about but everything is going well on and off the pitch. Just be patient and keep going to games. LOOK OUT CELTIC WE ARE COMING TO GET YOU.

janesaddiction, have you got a crystal ball by any chance? how do you think that crroks being caught means its all ok for our club? what it doeas prove is that Green and co "lied" big time about getting our team back into Scottish football. If that's the case we unfortunately will be punished? as for your assumption that more people are waiting to "pump" money into our club il say the following words "dream on" Mr King if you haven't already noticed wishes to be in sole control, he will allow no one even our fan groups to be dictating to him. pie and sky come to mind. unless your saying King is going to go?

The registration is not and will not be in dispute, the challenges and probes are about the missing millions. The club (in football terms) was above board, it's the dodgy and fake deals behind the scenes that are drawing the interest and anything uncovered will not affect the current situation as the club isn't under investigation (it's the spivs who asset striped). There will be more people questioned, more charges brought and hopefully (eventually) a court case where everything that was done to our club and by whom is exposed.
There will be uncomfortable times, embarrassing times and shocking revelations but the truth will come out. In the end all we want is the truth and any justice that it requires, but our club will (is) moving on and in years to come we will look back at this time as the worst in our history but it will be part of it not the end.
Owners, Managers, Players and Spivs will come and go but Rangers will always be.

huey - even if there were 'damages' sought I think they would go to the administrators, BDO? not RFC

I think you mean Hmrc as they were the main creditor.

Although given the complexity of this fraud can't see damages being obtained from anyone. Whyte is broke, the law firm and administration firm have both sacked the people involved ( so they can avoid liability), and the others will have gone to great lengths to hide the money recieved.

Perhaps some people on this forum could learn the lesson. Don't blindly follow anyone, think for yourself and ask questions.

Whilst I hope for better from the current board it would be worth noting that DK is probably second only to HMRC in terms of losses. We need to make sure his control of the club is not an attempt to reclaim lost assets. The broken promises of investment suggest this is at least a possibility

loanees have been nec because we have had no scouting system in place

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Sep 2015 07:55:03
Not only has it been necessary because of no scouting, but it is the right thing to do. In my opinion we have loaned these kids to achieve one thing only: promotion. They are not necessarily the quality required for the next level. It's sensible planning, cheaper and effective. There will be a lot more new faces next season again, however I would think that potentially there will be less loans and more permanent purchases. This way keeps us much more flexible in the market for next season which is only the start of the rebuild.

So far the team have done great.
