Ha lets all laugh at the tims
1-1 at home to arbroath couldn't even score their goal themselves and they better not come on here and say they had one eye on spartak moscow or they played a reserve team because they had a good back 4 playing wae brown and wanyama in midfield. absolutely stunnin result for arbroath.

Agree3 Disagree2

At least they showed us how to hammer "the wee diddy teams"

ed i know celtic fan's are gonna come on here and say haha they are playing in the champions league but so what the fact can't be taken away they had a strong team out against arbroath only chalmers and mcgeough you wouldnt class as being not first team players this season but rogne wanyama brown watt zaluska ambrose matthews and miku all played so they can't say it was not a strong team playing also one eye on spartak or not still embarrasing to draw at home to arbroath and even worse not to score a goal yourselves is another thing to laugh at.

they might still beat spartak but we can enjoy the laugh at the day's result i am sure you would agree

Agree1 Disagree2

Lets stop talking about Celtic... we are not as obsessed as them, lets focus on our own team lads

Agree0 Disagree1

Its bad days when your only exciting results are from other teams obviously nothing worth talking about in the little 3rd

Not as much a laugh as your NEW club getting gubbed by Stirling Albion or the great Queen of the South!! How's the share issue going?? Liquidation on the horizon AGAIN!!!

its nothing to do with exciting results its just having a dig at this so called super celtic team but so super they cannot beat arbroath at home. we will be back where we belong soon dominating scottish football. its just great that if celtic lose to spartak moscow then its been failure and the barcelona result would have been for nothing. anyway ed enough about the trash.

just wondering if you heard any whispers about any youngsters we may be targeting for next season as in under 18's as this is only players we are allowed to sign. also it's about time this stella was given a chance i would much rather we played him thank kyle who is a waste of space and injury prone sandaza also i wonder if temps will be thrown in tommorrow or if it will be just a bit to early for him.

Agree0 Disagree1

About nothing ? either way we will be playing european football after christmass no result is for nothing and youll be playing no one through frozen pitches but at least you will still have us to follow ... anyone would think we where out the cup

celtic fans may have been content with europa league at the start of the champions league group but now you have chance to qualify for the knock out stages if you fail to beat spartak moscow who have just shipped 9 goals in 2 games' do not travel well' also have completely nothing to play for then celtic fans may put a brave face on it but inside they will be raging that they threw it away and after all the luck you have had in the tournament this season i find it about time that some went against you. if benfica beat barca then it would be the best 2 teams in the group qualifying and if benfica had played a full team and not rested several of there players for the game at parkhead they would have won. so beat spartak or a lot more laughs will be coming your way. and at least in the 3rd division we don't have to listen to your paranoia about refs and lennon crying when a decision goe's against him.

Agree0 Disagree1

Why is it funny that a "new club" as you claim are "gubbed" (i always assumed a gubbing was a high scoring defeat?) by a well established team.

What i find funny:

The "best" team in scotland struggling against part timers.
The "best fans in the works" boycotting their own game.
How happy the celtic fans are with their worst start to a domestic season in over 50years

Agree0 Disagree1

The best two teams go throu ?? how does that work ?? your theory is obviously based on the benfica result home and away but where does that put us with the barca result ?? both home and away finished level so with your own theory how can barca deserve to go throu more than us ... and did your own team not publicly ask the refs for help how embarrassing is that ?? anyway it looks like we are all looking forward to the game you sound as excited as us as i say glad to provide your entertainment and excitement while your own club drags itself out the little dull 3rd

Agree1 Disagree0

Wow, even on their own pages the obsession with Celtic continues! And they call smeltic fans obsessed lol!
TRFC cruising toward administration again, and all they can do is talk about their neighbours lol

not happy at the thought of ibrox changing its name, and dont give me it will always be ibrox to me hee haw its bad enough all the name change and div change crap but if they re-name ibrox my season ticket will be done with as im sure hundreds more will follow. cg will be taking a massive step backwards if he goes through with this one.

Believable37 Unbelievable43

It will be a massive step forward in making it his club

Agree1 Disagree0

I don't understand the big rush unless he needs the money for the running of the club. Would it not be better to wait then if we do decide to do this when we are back in the spl or equivalent we would be in a much stronger position to negotiate a deal.

Agree1 Disagree2

We are not in the position to pick and choose where we get money from so any revenue to help the team is good buisness.
Please note I said team and not share holders we need a pot of money available when we are allowed to buy to build up our squad again.

Agree1 Disagree1

OP' it could of been worse think yoursel lucky it's not Tescos, might still be tho!....Stevie

Agree2 Disagree0

Why wait til were back in spl/top division to think about this? If we change name its not gonna be for life ffs. Lets get something in place for a couple years to bring some money in, then can look to other bigger sponsors when we are back on top again

Agree1 Disagree1

Does it really matter what a stadium is named, think too much put on this, money is needed, green should just come out and be honest and he would have more respect from everyone instead of his lies, and thinking of scotland as a bunch of country folk

Agree0 Disagree0

You really think the stadium's name is important? Allianz Arena for example. FFS get behind the team. Surely thats all that matters

Agree1 Disagree0

All these so called 'fans' that say if we do this i'm done with my season ticket or if we do that I won't be back, grow up ffs. We nearly never had that choice whether to buy a season ticket or not. If you are a real Rangers man, how can it possibly enter your head to stop going to see them, you support them no matter what. (RTID) Now run along, you're Mummy has mashed up you're Weetabix for you.

Agree0 Disagree0

Utter rubbish. It will always be IBROX!!

Agree0 Disagree1

Stadium advertising is money for old rope, it's just the same as having an advert on the front of your strip. I don't see what the big issue is.
I think any club that doesn't have it is missing a trick big time.

Agree0 Disagree0

If you listen to all the horrible people that support the other mob we are a new team with no history but we are still turning up in our thousands to cheer on the mighty gers so what is the big thing about a name change to the stadium least we still have a team and a ground to watch our team at

Agree0 Disagree2

Whats in a name? to the next generation of supporters it will be remembered as what ever they call it while we feed the worms.
lets get money into the club and i mean club not shareholders then we can get the players we need when we need them...W.A.T.P.

Agree0 Disagree1

Ibrox will always be Ibrox ...

stop complaining if we get cash for re branding so what .

The Airport bear

Agree0 Disagree1

Makes good business sense to me. Ibrox Sports Direct Stadium - i can handle that for a bit more ££££. Snoop Dogg is now called Snoop Lion, but everybody still knows who he is and he still ain't gonna invest in the Shame.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree change name when we can buy players where's the benefit for rangers changing ibrox the now?

Agree0 Disagree0

Then you are not a true supporter, It makes no difference what the stadium name is, with pathetic supporters like you then we don't need you, we will laugh at you from the champions league......

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd assume it may be a done deal guys...

Can Ally not make up his mind for himself? All this sh##e about 'What the fans want' etc etc is getting boring. Grow a pair son and give us your opinion on something without pandering to the fans. We all know we have no say at all in any of it. Are they going to send out ballot papers to ask us to vote on a name change? are they f##k!!!

I am getting really annoyed by all this posturing and hot air, it's action that needs to be taken. I have said it since before Sir Walter left, McCoist wasn't the man to take is forward in the PL and now I will say he is not the man to take us forward from where we are just now. The cheeky chappy act will only work for so long, when serious questions are asked on or off the park he is left wanting and comes across as more like a fan than the manager. He can't even wear a tie to press conferences ffs!

We need a strong character to galvanise the club and team just now, bring in Billy Davies as manager and Ally can go back to assistant. Cue the "must be a tim" bull just because I have an opinion.

Believable25 Unbelievable28

That's a good shout mate but maybe not the best timing to say it. I will agree with you about all the clowns on here that accuse you of being a timmy just because you can think for yourself. It will be mostly kids so don't take that much notice.

Agree0 Disagree1

I never wanted anyone from the old board involved. I wanted a fresh new start without baggage. SDM, Paul Murray, Dave king, Alastair Johnston, yes and ally and Walter all part of the old regime that led us to disaster and destruction. None of them should be talking about the new club. Now they are dripping back like bad pennies. And losing the Ibrox name and vat convicted fraudster involved, etc.....
When will we break free of all these tainted dodgy guys and have a clean honest upstanding club?
Rant over.

Agree3 Disagree2

Mate, ah widnae worry. If you were a Tim you'd want Ally to stay.

Shuggy

Agree2 Disagree1

Well said #1. Far to many on here won't discuss the problems our club still has without that old 'your a tim' chestnut. some people really need to grow up.

Agree1 Disagree1

Nearly agree with you, but billy davies is an arrogant hopeless little turd, defo not the answer, hes had the boot from every job hes had.

you need a terry butcher type to get you back to top, then another manager once there

Agree1 Disagree1

"I've got to be honest and say I'm pretty open-minded about it." That sounds like an opinion to me, he is up for a name change if it makes the club some money.

All he was sugesting was that unlike him, a lot of fans wont be so in order not to upset the majority, then the fans should be consulted. Sounds like a pretty good idea to me.

After all the clubs been through, we are finally starting to get our act together and win some games, the team is starting to play a little. This is not the time to be calling for Ally's head. Get behind the team and stop all this useless bickering and sniping at our own club.
