Former player Aaron Niguez has said he would love to return to rangers, if he's turned out to be anywhere near as good as his younger brother he would be a great addition however wasnt impressed with him first time around.

30 Jun 2016 19:33:24
He only play 3 times in his loans spell. Can't judge a player on that. But I can't even remember him to be honest haha.

30 Jun 2016 20:06:52
I remember him. Could hit a decent free kick and was pacy and could cross. Surprisingly walter never gave him much a chance at all.

30 Jun 2016 21:40:24
He was probably the most talented player in that squad but Smith ignored him. Only ever started one game vs East Fife if I remember correctly.

30 Jun 2016 22:28:33
He came on a 2 year loan and went back after 1 season if I remember correctly.

30 Jun 2016 23:29:09
I'd take him and try and get him to talk his wee brother into coming as he is a player.

30 Jun 2016 23:29:43
Also started v Hamilton in the cup and we won 6-1.

01 Jul 2016 00:43:23
definetley take thia lad back got loads of potential BEARS.

01 Jul 2016 06:33:16
Time to move forward and stop dreaming about the past, he wasn't as good as some make out on here.

01 Jul 2016 09:09:06
Smith wasn't renowned for giving many youngsters the opportunity of first team football. A different era, but might be worth considering him.

01 Jul 2016 09:20:31
The whole Niguez thing was weird back then, didn't feature much when he did he showed bags of ability and then his loan was terminated, something must have caused this.

That said he's not a kid anymore must be about 27-28 but unless he has drastically went down hill he would be a great addition to the team.

Still think this is pie in the sky stuff though highly unlikely.

01 Jul 2016 09:25:36
what age is he and who does he play for now?

01 Jul 2016 10:06:40
27, plays for Sporting Braga. Played most of his football in Spanish second division, 2 seasons for Elche in top flight. Averaged about 1 or 2 goals a season through his career, scored 2 goals in past 4 seasons. Not really that great.

01 Jul 2016 12:04:35
Reading today that Matthew Knox may be on his way to a championship team for around 200,000 plus add ons. we apparently offered 75 grand but were told they wanted double. not being negative I trust W and W to do the business.

30 Jun 2016 07:59:59
Fletcher in talks with Norwich.

Scott Mcd ain't happening"never interested" someone posted on here.

Cummings ain't happening.

Lafferty massive possibility because
1) being a Rangers fan makes the perfect signing

2) Lafferty is a grafter, big, pacey, still young at 28.

Like Scott McD both live in East Kilbride? Lafferty has family there. Trust me I know this. Four year deal could be offered.

30 Jun 2016 17:49:49
You tell us to trust you then say lafferty had pace. Of course skippy wasn't going to happen. We
Apparently had a bid in for cummings on the table but reconsidered after the fall out from the trouble.

30 Jun 2016 18:08:43
1 day you will get 1 right ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป.

30 Jun 2016 19:06:56
even a broken watch tells the right time once a day! sorry everyone could not resist.

30 Jun 2016 19:40:02
Heard Gareth Bale will be going for a medical at rangers after the euros he's fallen out with the Madrid president and says he would take a pay cut as he's got 300 million in savings make of it what you like hope it goes throu.

30 Jun 2016 20:44:09
Bobby he'd be great back up for waggy.

30 Jun 2016 21:28:50
To be picky, a broken watch tells the right time twice a day.

30 Jun 2016 21:45:11
How rediculous!

30 Jun 2016 23:06:41
He could make the bench if he impresses in training.

01 jul 2016 00:51:14
please god no lafferty he has no technical ability and the circumstances when he left where crap! hope warbs reads or someone feeds back to him on these comments we ca do so much better even a loan signing and bet he'll want 12-15k a week no chance!

01 Jul 2016 07:58:32
I'll remember Laughertey for throwing himself to the deck clutching his face, and flapping around like a fish out of water after an opponent blew in his direction. Noforme!

01 Jul 2016 09:11:51
All good news apart from the Lafferty comments. We might as well go and get a donkey off Blackpool Beach. It wouldn't cost as much as Lafferty and might actually be a better addition to the squad!

I really hope that he never returns to Rangers. A waste of a jersey.

01 Jul 2016 09:29:38
guy is a donkey and can't handle the weight of a rangers gersey . never was good enough never will be! I hope this is people just making up their own minds on this and no truth is in it please let that be the case.

05 Jul 2016 00:28:43
Hope Warbs gives Hardie a decent chance via Lge Cup group stage, also been reading comments from Walsh and I think he wants to try and break into first team this year, he's on final year of contract and if Warbs doesn't think he's ready I think the lad will be off don't think he'll want another season on loan, the guy seems really confident in his ability and both should be used in this Cup competition.

30 Jun 2016 07:03:59
A motherwell supporting friend of mine told me he's heard within people in power at fir park that rangers are very interested in signing their striker scott mcdonald on a 2 year deal which I don't believe for a minute but anyway bears it got me thinking and I must admit I think mcdonald would be a far better signing for us than either kyle lafferty or steven fletcher, what's other bluenoses thoughts on this? I'm only throwing it out there as that's what I've been told and therefore sharing the info with you all.

30 Jun 2016 07:17:04
Hibs want him. He hates Gers as well and he loves Celtic. Can't see this happening.

30 Jun 2016 07:36:27
Reckon would be going backwards if we signed any of them, either too old or have no desire to be at rangers. Looks like were heading for 11 brand new players by the looks of things, hopefully there's another big name to be announced (Striker) on top of the already fantastic signings we have produced from nothing. Obviously the objective is to win the league this year and we won't be far off with what we have.

30 Jun 2016 09:52:02
That's pure nonsense, I think your mates are winding u up warbs, I fancy young hardie might get a few games this year.

30 Jun 2016 12:28:37
If gers sign vicinity it would eclipse any signing in last TEN years.

30 Jun 2016 13:39:13
Just incase anyone likes a punt joey Barton's got a horse running at Newbury tonight called we are the people ๐Ÿ˜‚ 20-1.

30 Jun 2016 15:07:45
Think your mate is pulling your leg W15. That would definitely be a step backwards. Besides did he not choose Celtic over us all those years ago? He had his chance.

30 Jun 2016 10:19:59
I'd like Warburton to give Hardie a chance and maybe that's what's happening just now in the states. We were light up front when Waggy got injured and our performances suffered because of that. The fact that the striker is a mystery, nothing has really been said about that. We have been linked with a few but that's it. I still think the striker that will be coming to Ibrox is Lafferty.

We do need a good back up, as painful as it was to lose the Scottish Cup, it identified a few weaknesses as I have every confidence WM has fixed them. If we are going to have a forward on the bench he needs to be a game changer. Not someone who is going to give the ball away in the 90 minute and cost us the Scottish Cup. still hurting.

30 Jun 2016 13:34:46
Season tickets would be getting handed back.

30 Jun 2016 18:09:42
I'm sure wee McDonald was on the brink of joining us a good few years ago, before he went to Celtic. It was right at the end of a transfer window and Motherwell scuppered the move at the death. I also heard at the time he was absolutely gutted it didn't happen. As for the Celtic fan thing - his mother is a fan but he also has family members who support us. I'll tell you what - he would score goals for us. I have no doubt about that.

30 Jun 2016 21:30:25
Wtf are you guys talking about. Scott McDonald. a good signing for rangers. whit?

30 Jun 2016 20:44:05
McDonald wanted to sign for Rangers, well wouldn't allow it, he almost walked out, he was livid, but he got his move to his preferred option eventually, and warbs15 now has " sources" everywhere bar the whitehouse? We shouldn't be considering players like McDonald, his career is coming to the end, and if that is the best we can do then MW won't be here long, I always support Dave king ๐Ÿ‘‘, but we need to find the funds for a big scoring signing, its a must do?

It would change everything and counter the effect the Dembelle signing, and believe me, one or two other players will sign for the dark mobs money, they will be swayed by ยฃ40000 a week, plus long term contract, and the promise of big transfers if they do well, did we really believe that the Mafioso were going to sit on their billions and let Rangers destroy their 10 in a row dreams, they know this is what keeps them sweet at the glitterdome.

01 Jul 2016 00:48:41
Nobody in Scotland will be on anywhere near 40k per week. I agree we should push the boat out and try and bring in a striker in the mould of Dembele. It would post a marker for us that we mean business.
I'm not saying we should necessarily bring in McDonald, but only that if it did happen, he would defo be good enough to make an impact. Look at his career. He's done it at Motherwell twice, Celtic and Middlesborough. And he's an Australian international. Just saying!

01 Jul 2016 19:54:14
Anyone that thinks he wouldn't score goals for us is warped. Enough of the over 30s though and let's see 2mill of Kings money, at least, on a proven striker.

29 Jun 2016 20:40:25
Heard the striker we are looking at is vucinic, used to play for juventus now with al jazira (spelling)

30 Jun 2016 07:08:18
On wiki says he's on 5mil a year. Also he's 32.

30 Jun 2016 08:04:25
Mirko Vicinic has been out since Nov 2015 with cruciate ligament injury, plus his transfer market value is 5 mil.
Unless DK has had a change of heart, this won't happen.

30 Jun 2016 08:05:14
I've followed juve since the 90's when they ripped us a new one would be one hell of a signing but highly unlikely.

30 Jun 2016 07:53:37
Eezyeez, where are you seeing this figure for wages, I can only see that he signed for a fee of around โ‚ฌ6M, not saying you're wrong just saying I can't find it. Also Rangers1993, where are you hearing this?

30 Jun 2016 16:03:32
Was at the home game - that juve side tore us to pieces every time they went forward. One of most underrated team's imo they were up there with the best Italian team's of all time.

30 Jun 2016 18:14:47
I was at that game as well. I think it was 4-0? Thought it was a false scoreline as we had a right old go at them at 2-0 down only to lose 2 very late goals that made the scoreline look much worse than it should have done. I think one of the late strikes was a pure worldy that a goal full of keepers couldn't have stopped.

30 Jun 2016 20:48:26
I was at both games, think juve won 4-0, and 4-1, I always remember saying that, at that time they would be winning the champs league as I didn't think any other clubs could have done that, to that Rangers team, who were very good they were magnificent, and we were a very decent team.
