Hearing from my source now that it's McInnes or Moyes . The board are split on who to give it to . Early next week it will be known.

02 Nov 2017 19:10:46
Moyes shouldn’t be anywhere near ibrox

What did he win at Everton? - nothing
Man U .? Got sacked
Real socidad? . got sacked
Sunderland . got them relegated

Sorry but moyes being linked to the gers job is absolute nonsense .

02 Nov 2017 20:38:54
JC 100% correct

02 Nov 2017 21:35:55
Seems your source doesn't know what day of the week it is. No doubt he will spin you more BS tomorrow

02 Nov 2017 22:00:47
I’m not a fan of Moyes but Rodgers got sacked by Watford, Reading and Liverpool I think and he’s done alright up here. Can’t see Moyes being interested anyway but who knows?

02 Nov 2017 22:08:45
Who’s your source the news saying that Moyes is second favourite behind Mcinnes come on stop talking crap saying you have a source when you don’t

03 Nov 2017 02:38:41
Neil Lennon is the best man for the job

03 Nov 2017 07:48:41
Lennon007 are u actually Neil Lennon trying to get linked with the bears hot seat and this is not the correct place to apply to manage the greatest team in the world

03 Nov 2017 09:39:47
No I’m not Neil Lennon but he is passionate and a decent manager, i'm a rangers man and always will be
But I think he’d do a great job

03 Nov 2017 10:04:28
The board should hunted if they consider Moyes

03 Nov 2017 11:37:32
McCoist had the better of Lennon that final year in the SPL and if things hadn’t transpired the way they did I believe McCoist would have won the SPL that season Lennon is a passionate manager but we need more than just passion and definitely more than just a decent manager

03 Nov 2017 13:12:30
2011 Moyes said his dream job was to manage celtic some point in the future. No way should someone like this be allowed to manage or even be in conteniton to manage our club.

We don't necessarily need a gers man in charge but this point in time certainly don't need one of them.

03 nov 2017 14:03:27
defo don't want a celtic man in charge just look what happened with pedro.
lmao (just jokes )

03 Nov 2017 14:46:39
Allan1 and peds11,davie moyes yes played for celtic but he's not one of them! God you've got to educate some of our supporters on here! Davie moyes was a boyhood rangers fan and so is all his family! His dad davie senior used to be a scout for us!

03 Nov 2017 16:14:26
supercooper educate us then who does he support? and if he was a boyhood rangers fan then why would he say he would love to manage celtic one day and not rangers?
he must be a turncoat or somnething because i can say for certain he ain't one of us and to say u want to manage a certain team means to me he is one of them.

03 Nov 2017 19:11:33
I can only put this one way to you mate! Davie moyes was a born and bred bluenose! You're right when asked several years ago, he did state that he would be proud if asked, to become celtic manager! What you have chosen NOT to mention is that he said he would find it difficult to turn down any of the old firm if they came calling! Kenny dalglish was a boyhood rangers fan but he played for celtic and said he was honoured to have managed them for a short spell!

04 Nov 2017 21:46:06
mate I posted saying Steve McLaren now your saying it's between these two. make up your mind.

04 Nov 2017 21:47:47
went further down the page and now potter. omg I know we need a manager and that but are you pulling names out the hat.

04 Nov 2017 21:48:16
It will be mcinnes and I don't have any sources👍

02 Nov 2017 14:58:18
Steve Mclaren in contention now.

02 Nov 2017 17:03:14
It’s gona be pocchetino gloves king was at Wembley last night he starts Monday 👍🏻👍🏻

02 Nov 2017 17:16:55
Ah her talking crap now

03 Nov 2017 08:51:09
Never reveal my source but it's spot on it will be McInnes or Moyes within the next 5 days.

03 Nov 2017 12:41:56
hope its McInnes, I mean I don't mind Moyes either I personally think he couldn't handle the pressure of the job

03 Nov 2017 14:05:23
MOYES IS NOT A WINNER

he doesn't have what it takes to be a winger plus he is a celtic man through and through so get that one out yer head straight away

03 Nov 2017 16:15:41
meant to say he doesn't have what it takes to be a winner!

04 Nov 2017 21:45:49
Hope so 😂

02 Nov 2017 13:04:32
Hearing King going to Bilbao tonight to speak to Potter and Reid.

02 Nov 2017 13:18:52
harry potter? because we need some magic

02 Nov 2017 13:27:29
Predictable patter there . Graham Potter not Harry.

02 Nov 2017 17:05:11
Brian Potter fae phoenix nights

02 Nov 2017 18:01:01
I would rather have him than McLeish

02 Nov 2017 12:20:38
G'day lads. Just popping past with some information that the posters on this site may be interested in.

According to a good friend of mine who is based up north Stewart Milne and Mike Loggie met with recently unemployed former Scotland gaffer Gordon Strachan on Tuesday afternoon.

No idea what transpired between the trio but with Derek McInnes touted for the Rangers job I thought it was worth mentioning.

All the best boys!

MAZE

02 Nov 2017 14:00:24
Could see Strachan taking Dons job! .

02 Nov 2017 17:07:24
That's good it centralises a lot of things I hate in the same place

02 Nov 2017 19:26:33
Would love to see chesney managing the sheep. He's a joke and they would soon become one!

02 Nov 2017 19:36:03
Read yer post ( MAZE) till the end then yer parting shot gave it away
All the best Boys

My understanding is Murty will prepare and manage team for Saturday.
Aberdeen will be contacted early next week to ask permission to speak to McInnes and to try and negotiate a deal with him before compensation is agreed.
Board don't want to seem like they are rushing decision and they are giving DOF his place to see if he has any viable alternatives during this week.
McInnes is up in Glasgow area on Saturday to face Hamilton in possibly his last game as Sheep manager, there may be an informal meeting set up while he's here.
All things going to plan he will lead Rangers out ironically against Hamilton in his 1st game after getting 2 weeks with new squad.

02 Nov 2017 11:02:53
An 'unofficial meeting set' up won't happen! We have to approach the sheep first

02 Nov 2017 12:16:00
Obviously Murty will take the team on Saturday as we don't have a manager not really hard to fathom out

02 Nov 2017 22:04:39
I think he means we will get permission to see if we can agree terms with McInnes before agreeing a package for Aberdeen. Happens all the time with transfers. No point spending time agreeing a fee with a club for player or manager if that person doesn’t want to go or can’t get the money they want.

02 Nov 2017 08:21:53
One thing rangers will need to sort out when the new manager comes in is dealing with the press we must have a press officer sitting next to him to intervene if they get a bit out of hand with their questions Pedro got ripped to shreds with no protection from our press officer I would not let the following near our press room sun, record, bbc, stv, we should just have our own interviewer on rtv and that's it it's pretty clear what the scottish press agenda is everyday it's really getting embarrassing with their headlines now Celtic got beat the other night but they managed to turn it into a win lol.

02 Nov 2017 09:21:11
Calimero, I have to admit I'm loosing track. Can you provide a full list of the organisations we are currently boycotting and those under consideration for boycotting.
I wouldn't want to fall foul of the boycott police through my ignorance.

02 Nov 2017 10:28:39
HONESTLY I don't CARE ABOUT THE PRESS THEY CAN GO TAKE TO FLYING F FOR ALL I CARE.

as long as we can get back to the top i will be happy .

next 2 seasons and if we don't win it i will be very unhappy

02 Nov 2017 12:30:20
Yous are totally paranoid and it's embarrassing. Behaving like Celtic fans with talk like that.

02 Nov 2017 20:21:30
I’d get shot of James Traynor.

I think his is arrogant and self centred and responsible for our embarrassing perpetual statements.

The press don’t like him and I think we suffer as a consequence

03 Nov 2017 12:01:28
The media are a fickle bunch. Sucking up to celtic for the past couple of seasons because everything is rosy. We are still the biggest news in Scotland, sitting ducks for the media but the tims are lapping their nonsense up. While I have no time for the media we need to be careful with this whole ban them all mentality, it makes us look a bit weak and pathetic and as a club we need to show we are strong and can take criticism on the chin. It's the nature of the beast when a giant of any sport is having a rough time of things the public and media jump on the band wagon to keep them down, we will be back and once we are we can have our pop back at everyone who kicked us when we were down. Media included.

03 Nov 2017 12:16:03
It is embarrassing rick, words like that would never pass my lips.

05 Nov 2017 09:30:16
I can confirm that when he worked in the press he was heartily disliked by many, including most other staff like sub editors and admin staff. He was often barely tolerated by desk editors because he was good at creating controversy where none existed and at leading speculation with lies and fantasy stories. I've never understood why we continue to employ him, he brings us nothing and is often the reason why some journos are hard on our club (and I nkow many don't need an extra reason) .

02 Nov 2017 07:11:12
Will the fact we have an upcoming double header against the sheep have any bearing on McInnes' decision, should he be offered the job? Thoughts, bears?

02 Nov 2017 07:51:37
realistically yes

but if a comp figure to release him from his contract has been set and we pay it, then there’s no reason it should

i appreciate due diligence must be done especially after last 2 appointments, but if we are going to get DM then we should do it sooner rather than later ie next week

02 Nov 2017 10:31:36
if we know who our top target is we should make a move right away as holding off won't do us any good at all we want the manager to have as many games this season as possible to get the best out of our players and to assess what he needs to bring in, but anyone who comes in should know what we need and should have been paying attention

02 Nov 2017 13:03:31
i believe they r moving fast. howver the reason i don't believe its mcinnes is because if it was him surely it would be job done already. why hold interviews in london if they already made their minds up.
