Hi there talking to my contact who is a major shareholder in Qatar has said mark warbuton has the next Celtic game at parkhead March 12.. A win is a must according to him if not Alex mcleish and Alex Rae and are in til end of season with a end of season meeting regarding funds for next season if available they will stay... As I said its temporary pride to the club

@eastmains16 - what a load of Colin Nish. The same Alex McLeish who's crashed and burned at every club after Birmingham City? The same Alex Rae who got the tin tack from St Mirren? We'd be better of with the Ther Krankies in charge!

Not understanding the few people on here quoting a mcleish return. He inherited a great squad last time around, spent another 15 million before some hefty bosman wages on some big players, and a whole ton of non entities. He also suffered a few MW issues himself when it came to favourites (namouchi) .

This squads about 20 times worse than when he was in charge, i doubt he'd be the man to rescue and restore to former glories.

I totally agree that's a temporary solution we need to make a statement of intent with a laudrup, dyche, frank de boer

We have no cash we are reliant on season ticket money and soft loans we need fresh considerable investment to make any sort of statement

Eastmains16,i know your only sharing with us what you've been told, and i for one appreciate that mate, as this is what this facility allows us to do, although some can't even take that on board! However, on to what you were told. I honestly don't think we can keep going back to former rangers manager's, if mark warburton were to lose his job! that's most certainly not the way forward! There's plenty of good managers out there who would be very good appointments for us!

Now i must be clear here, as i'm still 100% behind our current manager and we should ALL, only evaluate where we are, at the end of the season! I like mark warburton's philosophy on how he likes to play football, its just that we've not got the players to play his style at the moment!

I still rate warbs as a very good coach! If we do have to change there's a good few managers, i personally would like us to go for. Here's some of them, frank de boer, alan pardew, garry monk, chris coleman, david wagner, michael laudrup, gio van bronckhurst, nigel pearson, billy davies etc! I would prefer us to forward think if we do change warbs, not going back to alex mcleish, walter smith etc. They've had their time and did brilliantly well, for which i'm very thankful for!

Mcleish and Rae in til end of season then frank de boer who has been contacted as my source has said its down to transfer kitty. De boer for me Aswel .

I always like the way mcleish attacked celtic with pace and power always went for it with 3 up front against them would be a good stop gap till end of season and would certainly improve the fighting spirit in the team and play a formation that suits the players

There is no way sean dyche is coming to Scotland to manage anyone although he'd be good, Chris haughton Brighton manager is decent gaffer, frank de boer, Alex Neil, alan pardew needs a job (although not keen on him)
Plenty a decent managers out there that'd be better than the dross we are enduring the now

03 Feb 2017 16:39:52
Eastmains 16, what about a david wagner, garry monk, alan pardew, nigel pearson, frank de boer, michael laudrup, billy davies, chris coleman etc?

03 Feb 2017 16:50:38
Honest to god, so if we get gubbed in the next few games it won't matter as long as we win at celtic park?

03 Feb 2017 16:59:12
I don't understand the McLeish thing as well and don't think people with little to no experience as a manager should come in either and I think the squad we have is a good one except defence!

if another manager comes in hopefully they like attacking football aswel but are not scared of changing tactics or formations

Here is a serious question not point scoring. What is it going to take to stop Celtic?
Carrying on with MW means you are as good as Motherwell or Hearts on your day can give anyone a game maybe a cup but never winning the league.

Bring in a De Boer, why would he come with no money?

Even if he does developing youth will take years. With the expectation of winning now why would you bother to havev your repuration tarnished.

So what's it going to take? Personally I don't think you will challenge for the league for a quite considerable time.
