A good overall performance fro the lads today. They got through what could have been a very uncomfortable tie with relative ease. One thing though, why was out manager dressed like some young ned that hangs about street corners. Get a shirt and tie on Alistair and behave like a Rangers manager. We shouldn't be letting our standards drop just because we are in a lower league. Young managers will be looking up to Alistair so he should be setting a better example of how a manager should dress.

Larky Bear.

Some folk are never happy, What clothes Ally puts on is his choice.

Agree1 Disagree0

What the **** is this comment all about why would you want to wear a shirt and tie in this weather the guy was wrapped up like you should be in the winter so how can you say standards have dropped i am sure every manager in the country didnt have a shirt and tie on what a total senseless point.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would young mangers look up to mccoist?whats he actually achieved in management?

Agree1 Disagree1

Graham Souness never wore a shirt and tie.As long as the team is winning who gives a toss.Larne bear.

Agree0 Disagree1

I agree with you Larky, I take it you are a more "mature" bear by your writing style and your sense of how a Rangers manager should conduct himself. Would Sir Walter have been seen dressed like that on a match day? Ally should be keeping those values going as a Rangers manager.

Agree1 Disagree1

I must agree with this posting,Lennon may look like a Jeremy kyle guest but we always had higher standards.

Agree1 Disagree1

He wore a suit and tie at the start of the season but said he wanted to drop it just now to show he's getting stuck in like the players should.
Who cares what he's wearing, the away results are improving now so as long as we keep that up I don't care what he has on. He's still wearing Rangers gear so hardly crazy...

Agree0 Disagree1

After all the changes cut backs etc your worried about what ally is wearing on match days , I wouldn't care if he was wearing a Celtic Tracksuit as long as we are winning ... Not job

Agree0 Disagree0

You are talking utter rubbish.now that ally is wining games people are complaining about his clothes what planet you on.to me when a manager gets his tracksuit on its a sign his sleeves are rolled up and he's in about it give him a break..kev

Agree0 Disagree0

Its called rolling your sleeves up! Good for Ally.

As for smart I LOVE THIS SITE check out your own crisis on BLACK SOCKS!

Agree0 Disagree1

I agree with the OP - standards have to be maintained on and off the park - our team are playing silky football which is a joy to watch while our manager is looking more and more like a dosser with every passing match, Alistair should lead by example by wearing a shirt and tie in all weathers. I would urge ALL fans to show their support by wearing a shirt & tie to - we are Rangers we don't feel the cold.

Agree0 Disagree0

Larky what centuary where you born?

Youre worried what Ally was wearing?

Thats how SDM and CW got a way with it.

Dapper though werent they!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ally could wear a bikini for all i care as long as were winning. {The Ed039's Note - I am going to have nightmares tonight now)

Out of interest, why has Scottish cup 3rd round been brought forward a month? Is the a Jan shutdown on way or something?

Believable7 Unbelievable7

Bcause the the big league in scotland is having a winter break

Agree1 Disagree0

There is a winter break for spl clubs but no winter break for sfl clubs not that it matters as most away games for us will likely to be postponed due to frosen pitches we could get to the point where we are 3 or 4 games ahead of 3rd division clubs as its unlikely any of our home games will be postponed while other clubs home games will be due them not having undersoil heating to defrost their pitches.

ed we have not heard from you on a while on your thought's about how you think things are going so far and your thought's regarding charles green do you think now that he has been here a few months now that it's time to trust him i still have little doubts about what he is at rangers for but i am giving him the benefit of doubt for now.

also good win today against elgin was worried we might slip up like the tim's did yesterday. we still looked shaky at the back though mcculloch to slow and hegarty looked uneasy and the greek guy well he couldnt cross the road never mind cross a ball. mckay was decent but frustrating at times and nice to see temps back. {The Ed039's Note - Sorry bud I have been really busy with work last few weeks, thoughts on Charles Green, there are times when I like him, and times when he makes me cringe, ie Man United are up for us being in EPL, I dont have any trust issues with the guy, he is out to make money and that is fair enough, I have bought my season book but if other want to line his pockets in other ways thats fine, you might ask him why do I trust him, well, its because he wants to make money, and the only way he can do that is with a healthy Rangers. Things are starting to come together now on the park, I thought Barrie McKay was outstanding yesterday and there is enough quality in that current squad to get out of the next 2 divisions without any real problems, despite how tactically inept I belive the coaching team is)

Would Barrie McKay not be better playing right wing? He seems to want to cut inside all time, surely playing on the right would be better?

Believable12 Unbelievable6

No I don't think so, all good wingers like to play on the opposite side to their strongest foot, it enables them to come inside and have a shot. Good thing is he has a left foot too so he will mix it up.

Agree1 Disagree1

Well if he has a left foot i would like to see alot more of it

Agree1 Disagree0

Messi plays on the right ronaldo plays on the left its the way wingers are nowadays. feeny87

Agree0 Disagree1

Sometimes being a bit unorthodox can suit a player.
