Anyone heard anything about Vaughan? He was in talks but that's the last we heard on it that was weeks ago. Personally i think there are better options available but he would probably do a shift up here if he could stay injury free (big if) .

29 Jun 2016 21:46:43
Don't want the boy. Defo better options out there. Personally I would like us to test the water with a cheeky bid for Cummings maybe £750k.

29 Jun 2016 23:10:49
Personally I don't think we have any chance of getting Cummings now Lennon is in charge. Wouldn't mind seeing him at ibrox. Management team would get the best out of him.

29 Jun 2016 23:24:53
I wouldn't give hibs and that wee ginger rodent a sniff of my fart never mind 750k.

01 Jul 2016 09:42:22
no thanks would rather adam rooney.

29 Jun 2016 18:55:44
Nicky Law joining McCall at Bradford. Good luck to the lad, he produced a decent shift for us.

29 Jun 2016 20:08:50
Rotten last season but he stood up to the plate at Hampden when I for one doubted he could hold his nerve. Best of luck to him.

29 Jun 2016 16:34:50
Hodson signed 3 year deal, official website.

29 Jun 2016 17:50:49
Hopefully another astute purchase gives full backs competition and cover, now just a CH and Winger or Striker will do me Aluko would be ideal.

29 Jun 2016 21:28:19
Not sure about this signing, Warburton was quoted only last week as saying he would only be bringing in players who will compete for starting places! Last 2 signings Hodson and Gilks look like me a case of just bringing in numbers? But hopefully be proved wrong as Warburton record so far has been spot on!

29 Jun 2016 21:49:01
Would love to see aluko or Weiss very much doubt we could afford any of them due to wages though.

29 Jun 2016 19:49:07
Halliday can also play left back.

30 Jun 2016 00:08:50
I'd take weird back in a heart beat. Was good against Russia.

29 Jun 2016 13:08:35
Hodson due to sign later today - Daily Record online.

29 Jun 2016 13:38:41
Hopefully happen because he was on the raz with the rest of the N. I squad last night @ granny annies in belfast.

29 Jun 2016 13:49:08
not to excited about this one guys he was on loan at Kilmarnock last season I don't think he has the quality to step up to a team like ours (I know he will probs be just cover)

29 Jun 2016 14:03:53
Did he light up spl in a Kilmarnock shirt. No. Did he light up euros in a NI shirt. Never got a game. Great signing, trumps dembelle any day.

Seriously what is the point in signing player's like this, they cost us money in wages and don't improve the team one bit. Something is seriously wrong if we can't train a youngster to act as backup to fullbacks. What the @#$% is the point of having a youth set up!

29 Jun 2016 14:25:38
Jeez luigi you been on the happy pills again your usually much more negative ;)

29 Jun 2016 14:30:49
Luigi have you ever said anything positive about our signings? I wouldn't be surprised if you were a member of the celtic rangers supporters club. I thought hodson looked good when he was playing against rangers last season, Warbs mustve thought the same.

29 Jun 2016 15:45:49
I have to agree with Luigi on this one but I hope I'm proved wrong. Surely we have a decent enough youth player capable of stepping up rather than signing someone who didn't stand out for a really poor Kilmarnock side? If not what about Aird has apparently done really well at right back in a league which is far better in quality to the SPL.

29 Jun 2016 15:52:57
I'd rather we had kept Gasparatto and utilised Ryan Sinammon, that would cover both full backs and cbs.

29 Jun 2016 16:32:18
MLS much better than standard the the SPL! Calm yourself Stuart!

29 Jun 2016 17:34:30
Another good Young player signed, some fans will never be happy, when are people going to get it into their heads, rangers can't compete with Celtic on a financial basis until we start to get some serious money from our non existent retail contract. mark warburton is signing players he knows and trusts to do a job, see instead of slating players before they have even played a game for the club, how about giving the guys a chance, I'm delighted with the clubs transfer business and even if we don't win the league this year, our club is building itself up again, it won't happen overnight, it's going to take a couple transfer windows, let's just get behind the club because our board and management team are doing a great job.

29 Jun 2016 17:50:35
RFC infinity the MLS is full of USA internationals along with a lot of good experienced players from around Europe. It is of a much higher standard than the spl. I don't think anyone would disagree that teams like LA galaxy and Houston dinamo etc would pump every team in the SPL other than maybe a strong rangers and celtic.

29 Jun 2016 19:14:26
Luigi - I completely agree with the extraordinary vision been shown by Brenda Rodgers .

Dembele has had one days training and is subject to an £11million transfer to Southampton as a direct replacement for Victor Waggamama.

If only we were signing players like Pukki, Balde, Boerrigter, Kayal, Scepovic, Fisher, Fridjonnsen, Cifti etc etc etc etc etc etc etc.

29 Jun 2016 20:33:48
Bluepound wrong mousa dembele linked to Southampton. Reckon he's a cracking signing for celtic. Disappointed its not us he's coming to for only 500k.

29 Jun 2016 21:24:05
If we have to rely on somebody like Aird then we are really in dire straits. The guy has pace but little else. Hodson was apparently signed as competition for Tavernier. I must admit I don't know anything about the lad but if the management think he has what it takes for us then that's good enough for me. I agree we need to be careful with overspending while at the same time ensuring we can challenge for the title next season. Looking at the signings so far along with the current squad I think we have done really well so far. I've said already that i'm not sure about Joey Barton. I hope he is here for the right reasons and screws the nut. If he does he could prove the difference between challenging Celtic and not. I think Gilks will prove to be an able deputy for Wes and hope that we can find a solid partnership in defence. Striker wise I would love to see a young fresh striker come in and hit the road running. Anybody know if Alan Shearer has a son about the right age? In my opinion in his heyday Shearer was one of, if not the best, striker in the world.

29 Jun 2016 22:05:00
I wish Luigi was our manager instead of MW. Said no one ever.

29 Jun 2016 14:42:17
It could be worse it could be roy hodgson so let's get behind the managers decision and calm down. Stop thinking about we need to win this n that, let's do what the magic hat always says a game at a time and learn from it.

29 Jun 2016 15:12:18
Luigi why can't you just trust the manager?, it's his team and he decides who can bring or add quality to the squad. If you prefer other teams signing policy it's your right to choose who you watch at the end of the day! But please remember how far we have come since 2012.

29 Jun 2016 16:02:53
Guys i ask myself is this boy as good as aird
Airds home grown and a low wage. i'm with luigi on this 1. we could probably use the wages elsewhere to entice a top striker in me thinks.

29 Jun 2016 17:20:23
Player will be needed through out the season for the hard away games, type of player that will fight for ever ball remember the ever reliable sasa papac no one expected much.

01 Jul 2016 10:41:17
I do agree that we should keep aird this season and I don't know enough to comment on the boy hodson tbh but I trust he is good back up!

29 Jun 2016 12:14:03
6 months deal to be offered to the American, if failed to prove himself up to Jan he's out the door.

Hodson is a rangers player on a 2 yr deal player.

Rangers are eying up a loan deal for a proven talent. More on this to come.

29 Jun 2016 13:19:42
Where ye hearing this about the American? Was stated by warbuton he's got 10 days to prove himself and was a bit of the pace yesterday so on that basis alone i'd say you are speculating.

29 Jun 2016 13:51:46
he didn't prove himself after one day mate he will be assessed at the end of the pre season and maybe offered a deal but he has been without a club for a year this must be for a reason. (big bobo balde type player)

29 Jun 2016 14:05:49
Reason he's not had a club is due to injuries and loss of form. ie he is rank rotten.

Sadly this (desperate) move seems to indicate that our other CB targets won't be coming.

29 Jun 2016 13:15:19
They have not offered a 6 month deal based on 1 training session nonsense the guy has got 10 days to prove fitness and ability before we will offer him anything.

29 Jun 2016 17:28:07
He spouts guff all the time just ignore him.

29 Jun 2016 21:44:22
Seems you're at it again, luigi. The thought of actually signing Onyewu doesn't have me jumping for joy but at the moment he is only on trial. According to MW in the press he was suggested to us by Niko Kranjcars agent so we must have said-OK let's take a look at him since he must have been a half decent player at one time (US caps, Champions League experience) and we're over in the US training anyway. The transfer window doesn't officially open till Friday but even if we've got no actual money to buy anyone we still have the loan market and could pick up someone like Dom Ball (perhaps even him) so why are we desperate at this point. By the way if he is as you suggest rank rotten do we not trust MW and DW in their ability to suss this out during his trial and to say - thanks but no thanks-or trust that if we do offer him something it's because he's been sufficiently impressive not because we're desperate. Couldn't that be a possibility or do you have so little faith in them.

30 Jun 2016 09:45:03
Unfortunately for you LUIGI your season book money (if u have one ) only allows you to stand and vent your anger at our management team every other weekend. No doubt you would be happier with SUPER ALLY still at the helm. watching Barton Krankjar and Rossiter toe poke the ball at his bared arse and playing 2 hours of 5s every day as his tactical training session. No wait we wouldn't have any of them and we might not have been promoted. There's no way we would have picked up Waggy Tav Holt Halliday Wilson Windass Crooks Rossiter Gilks Wes . all mugs by your standard anyway. Barrie would be away from the club by now and the team would be a load of Allys old pals. .

What a shame it is now that we have a Manager who seems to have some sort of plan ON and OFF the park.

You must be so disappointed that things have turned out so bad for us.

Have faith in the management team
They've done a pretty good job so far and hopefully they are just getting started.

29 Jun 2016 02:16:27
anyone know anything about the stand we were going to build at auchinhowie? Read that it was proposed in Feb?

29 Jun 2016 03:23:17
Any news on jason cummings?, would do the job perfect as a rotation for waggy.

29 Jun 2016 13:53:58
why are people still on about this I've not seen him mentioned other than on here not been mentioned by any senior member of staff as far as I know. why do we want an unproven player at spl level.

29 Jun 2016 16:46:56
Jason Cummings would be a good asset to have on the bench as a back up striker but not a chance in hell a starter ie waghorn gets injured or we need a decent player coming on in a match 0-0 with 10 or 15 minutes to go . And btw rangers are crying out for a PROVEN centre forward the rest of the team looks ok a bit iffy at the back but what else do you want it's not like we paid millions for that midfield and it looks sound on paper.

29 Jun 2016 17:37:20
Cummimgs is not a target for rangers.

29 Jun 2016 00:50:33
Anymore information on Dominic ball? Seen a story a couple of weeks back that a deal was on the cards. Would be a magic player for us who can play in several positions. Good age aswell and we've seen his quality first hand. Surley a must sign? What's the thoughts on the Marriapoa story? The guy looked a decent player at palace when he was given a game. At 29 he will still offer something!

29 Jun 2016 05:46:44
I'm sure Spurs wanted Ball back for pre season to assess him before they consider letting him go/ stay. So if a loan deal was going to happen again I think we will have to wait till later on in the window like last season.

As for Mariappa, I heard he wanted more wages and the deal might be dead, not 100% though. Would take them both but at least it still shows we are not willing to break the wage structure.

29 Jun 2016 11:31:48
Leven Lad, Ball is out of contract next year so it wouldn't be a loan, more of a permanent move, last thing we'd want is for him to come on loan for a year, prove himself, and then another team snap him up as we didn't buy him.

30 Jun 2016 01:43:58
Met Dominic Ball in Mexico during the England vs Wales game and said he was trying his best to get back to us. might just have been telling me what I wanted to hear tho. genuine nice lad tho 👌.

28 Jun 2016 23:17:32
Rangers has tabled an offer of 1.5mill for leeds utd an N. I international player stuart dallas.

29 Jun 2016 05:27:13
That's good, perhaps we can now re name Murray park to southfork.

29 Jun 2016 12:34:41
Haha load of rubbish, I know Stuart dallas best mate personally and there has been no bids or contact made. Dallas has however said he would love to play for rangers at some point in his career. I'd personally love to see him at rangers but at the moment it's not happening and we have plenty of wide players anyway so it's unlikely to be a position that we will strengthen this summer.

29 Jun 2016 06:30:56
Stuart dallas had already stated last year he would never play for us as he is massive celtic fan so 1.5 million bid is just lies completely made up.

29 Jun 2016 13:17:02
Complete lies stiv65 he is not a celtic fan. So your completely wrong and telling lies.

29 Jun 2016 17:39:39
Dallas and his family are massive gers fans, but I don't think we can afford him this year.

29 Jun 2016 18:42:19
He's a gers fan stiv can't see anything online about him stating he would never play for Rangers where you see this info?

29 Jun 2016 19:55:17
He's 100% a rangers fan as is his whole family and he has said many times he'd love to play for rangers.

29 Jun 2016 20:00:51
I remember this too. i'm sure it was a tweet and he ended up apologising for it, but can't find anything on google either. Strange one. (maybe it was someone else? )

29 Jun 2016 22:39:39
Well your wrong to bruno he's a rangers fan.

28 Jun 2016 23:33:16
Hearing that Aluko could return to rangers this season. What do you guys think of that?

29 Jun 2016 01:50:49
Think Aluko is a great player but our midfeild seems full and i'd hate to see players on decent wages sitting on the bench, in sayin that he is an impact player but again i'd imagine he'd be on over 10k a week here and think championship sides can offer much more to him so don't think it will happen.

29 Jun 2016 07:55:47
Aluko would play across the front 3 not the midfield 3, said it before think he's a great player and would have him back in a heartbeat.

29 Jun 2016 09:20:19
I would take Aluko in a heartbeat will forever remember the goal at Ibrox (i was there) against them. They could have won the title that day at Ibrox but Aluko and the squad wanted it more that day.

29 Jun 2016 12:15:22
Surely Aluko would be deployed as part of the forward line if we brought him back. To be honest I'd prefer him to Cummings, Bradshaw, Fletcher or Lafferty and think he would be perfectly suited to play in a forward 3 as 1 of the guys either side of Wags/ Miller.

29 Jun 2016 14:31:08
it won't happen this was brought up a few weeks ago. he still has a grudge against rangers and was trying to sue us I doubt he will come to us . plus he it probs on 15 g a week easily if not more.
