Few hints n articles out there suggesting Berra as possibility to Rangers as he wants back to Scotland. Family still up here. 6 month on contract.

Clint hill should be given another year before we go looking at other centre backs for next year. The guy has been a rock at the back for us this season. Berra wouldn't be a bad signing in my opinion would add more much needed experience at the back

There is nobody more inconsistent than Christophe Berra. Hopefully with experience he has cut out the bloopers which cause onslaughts of pressure like in Kiernan's game. It is common that howlers are stamped out late on in careers as you grow wiser with age but I think it would be a more intelligent decision to partner Hill with a younger pacey centre back. The tracking back and man marking of our current crop of CB's is woeful, and we would be fueling the fire adding another slow runner.

Yeah they've had 2 games since he went and he got the last 5 minutes of both. To be fair they are on a good run so don't think he was ever going to walk into the team. hope he starts getting more minutes tho

We could be doing with the guy getting good game time until the end of the season and stepping into Andy Halliday's role next year. Halliday was awful today. Gave the ball away far too cheaply on too many occasions. Crooks when fit looks comfortable on the ball and has the presence to hold that area off the pitch

I agree, for a big unit he does look comfortable on the ball. Sure MW will have specified that Scunthorpe need to guarantee game time and development. Still believe he was thrown under a bus in the Tynecastle match and together with Dodoo has suffered as a result.

Well said rosscoh1872, we looked really good today but Halliday was terrible again, Hyndman was the star of the show, toral was off the pace but I think he'll cum good, but the sooner rossiter is back the better, Halliday is a big bluenose, but he should be on the terraces not on the park, he's a liability

Guys i honestly don't think matt crooks will b back at rangers! I think he'll be for the off in the summer. Imho we won't see crooks in a rangers shirt again!

wish everyone would get off of hallidays back I mean for god sake first its McKay who was a fans favourite then was getting pelters off of thwas a waste of a gersay and championship level at best.
then tav who is probably the most improved since arriving.
now it is hallidays turn to take abuse off of the fans who can't support without having a pop at sum1.
halliday is getting played out of his position and when he does play in an attacking sense he looks very good with very good awareness

It will probably not be anywhere near the £250K it will take to replace him as Gilks would have triggered a release clause after starting minimal games. Small compensation fee likely.

Can't believe this. I am hearing Port Vale are refusing to sell their goalie to us now because of the payment terms. The guy is only costing 250k and I am hearing we are offering 50k up front and then 25k per year instalments.
No wonder they are telling us where to go. 8 year payment plan with our credit history. What's going to be next? 50 ginger bottles up front followed by 3 crates of empty bottles a month! It would be good if we were based in Germany because you get money back for your beer bottles. We better not let DK or PM know that!

The facts are that nobody knows how much we have bid for him or his release clause, one reporter made up that figure and the rest just copied it. Same with the garner fee, i have seen it reported we paid 750k and also 1.8mill
