kevin phillips from blackpool.thimk wages would be a problem but at the end of his career and still in my eyes got alot to offer.great goal to game ratio and previous golden boot winner.could be the right time to try get him as he,s been used sparingly at blackpool and he is 39.?what yous think?

Believable11 Unbelievable89

I think a great shout mate i saw him loads at WBA and he knows where the goal is just a bit fearful he might turn out to be like D Healy now that would be a nightmare Nooooooooooooooo -_- Lee.

Agree0 Disagree0

Kevin Phillips?? I understand what you're saying but shouldn't we be putting faith in the youth and breeding some fresh talent to wrestle the SPL (if still in its current form) from Celtic in 4 years time.

Any rumours on Charles Green's reaction to Ally's poor start to the season??

Agree0 Disagree1

I'd take him

Agree0 Disagree0

Some of the posts on this page are unbeilevable by the way!kevin phillips ffs he's 39! What kind of messages is that sending out to our young boys....hang on a few years wer going to play some hasbeens in the worst league in pro football,I hate to say it but looking across the city they have got some great young players who will sell on for a healthy sum! Whilst we and our clown of a manager thinks signing players at 30yrs old plus to get out a mickey mouse league!what assets we going to have to sell compared to them??k.kyle?phillips?mc culloch?the Brazilian?the Greek?policy we have is alarming!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ffs you will want davie weir back too

Agree1 Disagree0

In our current state i doubt Fiona Phillips would play for us

Agree0 Disagree0

In reply to the guy who thinks its unbelievable to think of players in their 30,s.i dont care if they are 16,26 36 or 46.if they play well for us and get us out this league and back to playing football(rather than a game of punt ball) i dont care about age.In an ideal world we could have brought through alot of the youth team and let them show their ability however the youth that have been playing havent been consistent so that leads you onto more senior players who can maybe handle situations better.(in theory)

Agree0 Disagree1

Is everybody forgetting Andy little!! All these strikers being linked with us when the young guy is awesome already and given the 3 years to develop will be amazing as an spl

Agree1 Disagree0

Of course it matters what age the players are. We should be building for the future - And if our youth system is as good as it should be then there should be players there hungry enough to take their opportunity in Div 3. If there isn't more players like little to up their game then the youth system is obviously another part of the club that has rotted. Its worrying!

Agree0 Disagree0

I think some of the above is valid i.e. what about the young guys at the club and shouldnt we be playing them....... but my reply is, yes I would like to see some of the young guys being bled in and doing well but the 3rd division needs experience and muscle... most of these young guys are build like twigs and lack the experience of how to over come that.

Good shout on the Kevin Philips but I dont think its forwards we need.... we need a decent back line and an experienced midfielder.

Mate you should have read over your second sentence and decided not to post this

I am very close friends with Peter Leven an ex youth player who now plays with Oldham, Played with Durrant at Killie & hearing Gers are close to signing him on 4yr contract. Will be great move if he shakes of thigh problem to pull through medical before Friday.

Believable15 Unbelievable57

He offered his services when we went down to division 3. Would do a decent job for us.

Agree0 Disagree0

He plays for Oxford, right? At least he did last season. A decent enough player, i suppose, certainly good enough for lower league Scottish football. Muzz

Agree0 Disagree0

A very tidy player, i know a few boys who played alongside him. tends to suffer from niggling injuries quite often though.

as poster above says, would definitely do a job at D3 level

taco

Agree0 Disagree0

He,s got a thigh injury at the moment he,s prone to niggling injuries and he plays for oxford and you want us to sign him, aye right

Agree1 Disagree0

Peter leven wont be signing for us again, i am from renfrew and stay next to his dad, still got 1year to go & has jus been given Captains job at Oxford. Good Luck Pedro leven WATP

Something all you Broadfoot killers forget-

When we signed him from St Mirren he was thier captain and CENTRE HALF.

At Ibrox he has always had to play out of position, and has had to change positions to cover for others out injured.

He's not the fastest, but in my opinion loyalty to the club means a lot and I think he has been treated in a very shoddy manner.
The current state of the club would have been ideal to give him a chance at CENTRE HALF before some of the "average" foreign chancers

Wee Bill

Believable26 Unbelievable34

Correct bill he wasnt the most skillfull but he tried ,to me whittaker was a bigger liability and cost more goals fed up with the moaning face fans ,think yourselfs lucky weve got a team ,it was a matter of time before they started on the players ,you will need to get it into yours heads the days of murray and the big stars are over and done with anyone who doesnt like the set up can head in the direction of janefield street theres plenty of spaces there and im not talking about the graveyard ,just remember the mc neil brothers they started from scratch doug t.s.o

Agree2 Disagree0

Well said..

Agree1 Disagree0

Never knew we were after st mirren class...when we bought him it was for a future prospect....he shows up every day in training and obviously wasnt good enough when watched by the coaching staff to play in that position....

Agree0 Disagree0

May not be the best defender in Scotland but.....he is loyal. and deserves out support and gratitude.

bill

Agree1 Disagree0

I personally dont rate Broadfoot as the best defender ever to pull on the jersey, but when he does at least he gives it his all.
He also deserves great credit for sticking with us through thick and thin.

Agree1 Disagree0

The guy is a person. The only reason why he stayed at ibrox is because he knew know one would come in for him. He is still struggling in division 3!!

Agree0 Disagree1

At £9k a week, give me peace. He was, is and always will be rubbish.

Agree0 Disagree0

True mate, he has been played RB, LB, CB. I hunk he has played some good games for us, his style just looks clumsy, cannot question the guys commitment to the cause!

Jas

Agree1 Disagree0

Everytime he plays centre half he has a mare

Agree0 Disagree0

Would rather have an average foreigner on £4k a week than Clubfoot, who is well below average, on £9k a week.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said mate

Agree0 Disagree0

Hearing that broadfoot has got fed up with the abuse and thats why he is looking to get out and is heading back to st mirren to play centre half. Its a shame coz although he does have limited ability he could well have done a decent job if played in right position.
Hope we get some quality players who can play football and start getting the results we should be capable of getting.
Gsn72563

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes he was forced to play rb but the chances he did gt at cb he was just as bad. Nuthin agains the big man just not rangers class

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah watched him play centre half, was more dangerous there for us and a great help for the oppostion. Wave bye bye never seen anybody so bad and lost count the amount of goals he cost.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes played cb many times and gave away a few penaltys when there. Remember a couple against celtic... Yeah lets keep him cos hes loyal !! hes loyal cos hes over paid, like most people would be !

FauldsRFC

Agree1 Disagree0

I agree not a big fan of him but at least he stayed when all the money gabbing so called die hards left

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said lmao..... He's useless the mans a disaster ..

Agree1 Disagree0

Clubfoot is mince

Agree1 Disagree0

The fried egg incident ruined him as a player. he was never the same after that injury

Agree0 Disagree0

We Bill,
loyalty to the club does mean a lot
but he can't pass a ball, can't defend, no positional sense
and if you remember can't even boil an egg
I would play for Rangers, give 150% be the most loyal player
ever to play in the jersey, play for nothing born a Ranger die a Ranger

By the way I'm 62.

Bassett 1263

Agree0 Disagree0

Agreed, also whilst been played out of position i do believe when alan hutton left for spurs broadfoot played rb with steven davis on right mid all the way to mnchester and the big man was excellent and he got injured and was never the same, gon yersel kirky boy stuff the boo boys

Agree0 Disagree0

He's been rancid and blatantly caught out more than once when played at the CENTRE HALF position you mention. And loyalty means nothing when you are rotten mate... He would not get a game anywhere else and he's pickin up thousands a week to play part-timers. Sounds to me like he knows where his bread is buttered not that he's oozing loyalty. Just a horrible statement from start to finish to be honest.

Agree0 Disagree0

Never thought he was Rangers class and that was backed up by a St Mirren fan who could not believe we signed him as they thought he was rubbish at St Mirren, he is struggling in Div 3 so time to go Kirk, see ya.

Agree0 Disagree0

What I don't get is rangers had plenty opportunity over the last 3 seasons to get rid of Broadfoot if he wasn't good enough, but they wait until playing division 3 football, a level that he might actually be more comfortable at, then punt him?! Baffling. He stuck by the club, was eager to play, and yes I know, he's not Rangers class! Rangers are in division 3, what is rangers class?! It smarts a bit to me of needing to free wages and raise cash for new players. And if all you Rangers fans can honestly say that Whittaker was Rangers class and was twice the player and worth twice the wages Broadfoot was on then
that's even more baffling!? Original poster was bang on the money!

Agree0 Disagree0

I've got to agree with Wee Bill on this one.
Big kirk was amazing the year St Mirren won promotion , Playing @ sweeper and looked the part , captian , player of the year etc,
St Mirren offered him a new contract and we pinched him for peanuts on a free so he must have had something about him also he's Rangers daft.
So what do we do , thats right make him a squad player then play him out of position but hey he's been capped at international level as a right back so the boy can play.
Pound to a penny if we played football the right way on the deck and cut out this long ball rubbish we might just see the best from our players.
Kirk has knocked back chances to got to england because he's living his dream and now being forced out and as per usual we'll find like most players that leave will go on to bigger and better things playing in the correct position.

Rant over ...

The Airport Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

He would have been off if his agent got an offer he didnt get an offer from down south because non of the clubs like players with two left feet.i never warmed to bearfeet he just doesnt cut it sorry

Agree0 Disagree0

Give me breath Big Kirk not rangers class what class was on view on Sunday I think a few fans will have to take a deep breath & live with what we have got for a few years

Agree1 Disagree1

The fact is when he played centre half for rangers he was a bomb scare a penalty waiting to happen ..FACT

Agree0 Disagree0

Wee Bill is right he's pointed out another bear playing out of position and again your all too dyed in the wool ...How many players do we have to let go before you all realise if played out of position you sometimes look bad
Does Anyone remember Charlie Adam Or John Spencer answers on a postcard please ??
The Airport Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd like to take big Kirky back to my place and smother him in scrambled eggs........

Agree0 Disagree0

Let's put this to bed once and for all about Kirky - it wasn't scrambled, fried or boiled eggs he had a problem with - it was a poached egg - oh aye, and he's pants at football too!

Agree0 Disagree0

Am no arguing with u m8 broad foot is
The worst player Iv ever seen I a gers top
Iv been going 30 odd years . He recently
Tried a diagonal ball across the park against
East stirling didn't even get near to the target
Enoughs enough pure pure stinking

Agree0 Disagree0

Me thinks the Airport bear & Wee Bill
Are the same person or is there something going on !

Agree0 Disagree0

Wee Bill. I have to agree with you. Kirk was played out of his favoured position. He always gave his all regardless of the position he was asked to play and never once did he complain. He is a good professional who just got on with the job. He also stayed loyal to Rangers when he could have walked at the end of last season, also knocking back offers from England and abroad where he could have earned more money.

Giving the guy abuse is absolutely shocking, it has happened before to other players and there is no place for it. Instead of giving abuse which demoralises a player why not support the player and team and help to lift their confidence levels.

TOGETHER WE ARE RANGERS.

Agree0 Disagree0

How can he play for 3 clubs in one season?

Agree0 Disagree0

At least he was prepared to stick with us which we should praise him for not like all those other supposed rangers supporting money grabbers. if the club is in your blood you would do anything for them.

Agree0 Disagree0

No harm to the boy but it's not 2007, it's 2012 and nowadays he couldn't keep hens oot a midden.

Templeton is a complete non starter from every angle. However, expect a flurry of transfer activity before Friday.
In will come, as reported, Morgaro Gomis, Michael Fink and Daniel Larsson.
Derek Riordan will also sign a 3 year deal on Friday.
Perhaps the biggest and most surprising signing will be that of James McFadden who will sign a 12 month contract with a get out clause should he rediscover his form and attract interest from the Premiership and Championship.

Believable31 Unbelievable74

UTTER TOSH............ one word here my friend, WAGES !!?

Agree1 Disagree0

We love this. Certainly gets the guys at work talkin

Agree1 Disagree0

Total and utter tripe. All of it. That's all I'm saying.

Agree1 Disagree0

Lets see how accurate you are come Friday

Agree0 Disagree0

I would be happy with these additions, time will tell, I was happy with signings but due to the fact we need so many players it worries me, think we need 8 players min to have a competitive squad.

Jas

Agree0 Disagree0

If all these players are signed, ill give it 3 months before administration hits.

Agree1 Disagree0

Its not ALL utter tripe mate, he's right about templeton! absolutely no chance of him signing for Rangers. (1). They wont do business with Rangers unless they really have to after Lee Wallace fiasco. (2). He would command a 1-2 million transfer fee, no chance there. (3). The lad could get a move to the championship or maybe even Premiership so he wouldn't play in division 3 (4). He's a Celtic fan {Ed039's Note - Celtic fan means nothing)

Agree0 Disagree1

Would like to see it, but doubt it!!

Agree0 Disagree1

Big Kevin Kyle is a Celtic Fan !! Would love these signings to come off, my only concern is surely there must be younger players if not at ibrox then playing somewhere in the sfl that would be able to do the jobs the riordan and mcfadden could do- i know they were good players but are they still?

Agree0 Disagree0

I dont think Hearts are in a position to be fussy about who they sell to, but cant see templeton coming

Agree0 Disagree0

McFadden would make three to four times the money at Ibrox flying to the USA tomorrow.

Agree0 Disagree0

All plausible so wait and see if the guy is right. Amazed people would say we can't afford or attract these players. That's just usual jealousy and tinted specs. Hearts might sell to rangers - they need cash, and won't get any interstate ok down south as he's not good enough. So let's wait and see. We can afford them and I know templeton and McFadden are interested.

Agree0 Disagree0

You talk ****e mate. You need a serious reality check if you think even in your wildest dreams Rangers will be signing either McFadden of Templeton (Hearts best player so 1.5 mill plus) I thought the reality check might have hit you when it took a seriously, seriously questionable refereeing decision on Sunday to spare you a defeat to Berwick Rangers in the 3rd Division. I mean come on mate what you on? So you think Rangers are going to pay McFaddens minimum 20k per week wages and Templetons 7-12k Aswell as the 1.5-million transfer fee. Dreaming mate. Although its seems this is the lengths you are going to have to got to if you want an away win or back to back victories under the pie man McCoist.

Good day to you sir.

Agree0 Disagree1

James McFadden can no longer demand anywhere near in the regions of 20k a week mate. Why do you think a talented player like him is sitting with no club while available on a free?

Agree0 Disagree0

McFadden and Riordan at Ibrox.....pmsl who next Owen Coyle for manager ...really you couldn't make this stuff up.

Agree0 Disagree0

In reply yo the original post. . . love the optimism brother!

Daniel Larsson at Glasgow Airport.

Mate ( a good bear ) works there and said he just spotted Larsson arriving.

He'd be a great signing !

Believable25 Unbelievable59

Did his phone not have a camera on it?

Agree0 Disagree0

Is he signing for Celtic? Hope its not rangers cause he wants 15k a week, would be suicide to offer players that kind of money to play 3rd division football.

Agree0 Disagree2

I work there also and was told he was spotted earlier .

Agree0 Disagree0

Really can't see it, read an article earlier apparently from his agent saying it ain't happening unfortunately, would have been a crackin signing.

Agree0 Disagree1

Don't flights from Scandinavian countries land at Edinburgh?

Agree0 Disagree1

I'll tell you something for free - he ain't going to 'The Rangers' any time in the next three years. If you think about it logically, you'll understand why.

Agree0 Disagree1

My mate seen the helsingborgs team at glasgow airport. wee sally has been busy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Think he might be here to see the CL game

Agree0 Disagree0

Rumour is he's flying in, would be a sensational signing!

Agree0 Disagree0

No was the old bt cellnet phone haha

Agree0 Disagree0

Na it was an old nokia one and he was playing snake at the time. Daniel beat his high score

Agree0 Disagree0

He's telling you what you want to hear...

Agree0 Disagree0

Larsson prefers not to use a camera phone

Agree0 Disagree0

Your mate's talking Craig Whyte!

Agree0 Disagree0

Well obviously flights from scandanavia dont just land at edinburgh cos celtic landed in glasgow last wk from sweden

Agree0 Disagree0

Could have flown to London first then to Glasgow if he flew from Copenhagen or Malmo but would fly to Edinburgh from Gothenburg.

Agree0 Disagree0

My pal larsson from sweden who came over on the 17th to see the game against east stirlingshire landed at glasgow airport doug t.s.o

Agree0 Disagree0

Ahh, the old mate at the airport routine! It's amazing how many people have got mates who work at Glasgow airport.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes sure he was and santa claus was also arriving early for christmas

Agree0 Disagree0

I actually did the whole Airport Arrivals Inventory fot yesterday and finished todays. Only Swedish people of any note were Benny and Bjorn from ABBA and they were singing "I have a Dream" same as you mate.... george

Agree0 Disagree0

Chartered flight?

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice to see the obsessed still glued to our websites, really does just prove "its all about the Rangers"

Agree0 Disagree0

He's having talks with Celtic and attending the game tomorrow.

Agree0 Disagree0

News to me I've been on shift since 1400 ain't seen or heard anything regarding this ...
The Airport Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard also he's in talks way Celtic personally don't think he's good enough for Celtic or rangers he's got a bitty pace but offers nothing for Celtic as for rangers his wages will be to high rangers also have to many strikers need out and out wingers and ally must play four four two

Agree0 Disagree0

He ain't coming to Rangers that's for sure I read he is about to sign for FC Coehagen on with wages between 10-15k a week!

Agree0 Disagree0

If daniel larsson was sittting in the stands at any football game no one would recognise him i love it when all these people spot someone who,s linked with a
transfer to any club especially someone who is relatively unknown like larsson

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Aug 2012 12:43:10
rangers are on the verge of signing german fink and are also in the hunt for david templeton, daniel larsson and gomis.(evening times)

Believable37 Unbelievable47

Ally has left ibrox by mutual consent its going round twitter right now {Ed039's Note - Do you believe everything you read on t*****r)

Heard from a very reliable source that Green wants to give Brian laudrup his first managerial job and let him cut his teeth in the lower divisionsbefore taking rangers back to where we belong.. new beginnings.. what u think fellow bears?

Believable24 Unbelievable74

We already have an ex legend managing the club and look where we are...4th in the 3rd division, and thats with someone who has had a very good apprenticship with walter. I think coisy should be given time to put his mark on the team because remember there is alot of uncertainty surrounding alot of our players at the moment. As soon as the window is closed then judge...not before bears

Agree3 Disagree0

Why is everyone turning there back on mccoist so early on we hadnt had a preseason and in the next fw weeks we'll hit our stride

Agree4 Disagree0

His brother has not done too bad a job, with Swansea's start to the season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Highly unlikely but I would welcome it.

Agree0 Disagree0

No offence to ally but I would like that ally should stay as number 2 and let Brian work his magic

Agree0 Disagree3

I heard john brown will be his assistant.

Agree1 Disagree2

Come on fellow bears, need to give Coisty a decent go of this. Once things have settled down (tranfer window) then I think we will find our form and storm to the top to remain. Remember, no pre season friendlies, and all the uncertainty regarding players. What could a new manager do anyway with no signings for a year and a half? Lets all get behind the manager and the team. Show them that we really are the people!!

Agree4 Disagree0

'His brother has not done too bad a job, with Swansea's start to the season.' And thats exactly how daft rumours like this come about! Micheal Laudrup's doing well so Brian would be brilliant at Rangers! Away n gee yerself a shake!

Agree1 Disagree0

Well done Peterhead and Berwick a bit of a reality check for Rangers? McCoist has great dignity and his loyalty to Rangers cannot be doubted, but what I have doubts about is his ability to manage. Consider that Peterhead and Berwick are part timers and Rangers remain full time. The part timers probably get together once a week?? And play for very little money compared to some of the jesters at Ibrox? loyalty is a great quality but I would rather have desire and ability! I wish Rangers all the best but I am still angry at the sorrowful mess White and Murray have put us in. The people that changed the world undone by buffoons!!

Agree0 Disagree0

I think you have just sat in your bed and made this all up tbh

Agree1 Disagree0

Did Laudrup not walk out on us before? On the verge of ten in a row and he was so worried of injury stopping a mega buck move to Chelsea he stopped playing....not any better than Naismith etc in my opinion.

Agree1 Disagree0

Ally stuck by this club when everybody else jumped ship and now some idiot fans are wanting him out.clearly not proper fans! your meant to back your team and manager it times like this not slate them!!

Agree1 Disagree0

No I'd rather have Ole Gunnar Solskjær, he's doing a great job at molde.

Anyway ally's still in charge, if in 10 games time there's no change, I think you will see things happening.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why the defence of McCoist? All this rubbish about no pre season, full time training, closed door games. As Craig Burley commented the Division is made up of mostly guys who were playing in the Junior ranks before stepping up. This was a graet result for the wee Rangers against Berwick

Agree0 Disagree0

Ally McCoists BLUE & WHITE Army..........give ursels a shake!! The man could have walked on numerous occasions but he has stood by the Football Club he, including me and you support!! Come on get behind him!!

Agree1 Disagree0

^idiot above. laudrup is a legend. one of the best players to ever play for our club. ps lets just get behind mccoist for a season or two and then judge him

Agree1 Disagree0

Not any better than Naismith.....Get a grip he was out of contract Naismith still had 3 years and walked away like the dog he is.

Agree1 Disagree0

U heard from that little voice in your heard u mean.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes McCoist is having a tough time of it just now but come on guys he stuck by us when EVERYONE else ran in the opposite direction, he stuck by us when it would have been so much easier for him to walk away, he held our support together when there could have been splinter factions resulting in civil war amongst our supporters, he may not be the best manager in the world, but right now he showed loyalty to our club and supporters when in a day of chasing the quick buck not many would have stayed, we OWE him our gratitude and support to get through this time in the lower leagues.
lets support him and the team and not put anymore pressure on him as there is enough already.....

Bill

Agree0 Disagree0

Why are you so good charles lol doug t.s.o

Agree0 Disagree0

McCoist may have "stuck" by rangers but remember when the full squad was still there, out of champions leauge earlies, out of europa cup earlies, out of not one but two domestic cups and then shifting over ten points, the facts cant be ignored, pains me to say but we have to start moving forward.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ive heard this rumour also. I agree McCoist should be given more time it's the least he deserves after everything he's done for the club! Though if results continue as they are it's inevitable that changes will follow. Davies will be mentioned as will Butcher but the thought of Laudrup in charge is very appealing, no guarantees of success but would be a step in the right direction. The Danish Market could be exploited and he must have some great contacts in the game.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why can't laudrup be part of the coaching team? Let him deal with our wide men and flair and let ally concentrate on showing our spl strike force where the goals are.bring back davie weir cause the man was a legend

Agree0 Disagree0

Im fairly sure he said years ago he`s not intrested in football mangment, something along the lines of clearing his wine cellar was far more fun

RANGERS have made a move for German midfielder Michael Fink.
The 30-year-old has arrived at Murray Park in a bid to seal a deal before the close of the transfer window.

The German is a free agent after he left Turkish side Samsunspor at the end of last season.
Birmingham City midfielder Morgaro Gomis remains a loan option, although his current club want all his wages covered, which is believed to be a weekly five-figure sum.

McCoist is also keen to bring in a winger. Hearts frontman David Templeton is his top option, but he faces competition from Bristol City for his signature.

It is also unlikely that Hearts would sell to Rangers after they were left to wait for their Lee Wallace money when the Ibrox oldco was liquidated.McCoist is also working on a deal for Malmo striker Daniel Larsson. Moves are being made to see if the Swede would be interested in a move to the Scottish Third Division.// www.express.co.uk

Believable36 Unbelievable48

Cant see gommis arriving on that wage, or tempeloton droppping to division 3 woth his potential (nvm the fact hea a celtic fan). What is for sure is the current crop are good enough for the spl... Its just whether or not they can handle being expected towin every game, the likes of shiels, black a nd kyle have came from teams where not winning didnt really have such a big media and fan backlash

Agree1 Disagree2

Templeton?? me thinks not.

Agree0 Disagree1

I've gotta say michael Fink looks decent, I would love wee templeton to come to Ibrox but thats never going to happen unless charlie stups up the full amount up front. Not convinced about daniel larrson though. I've only seen him play twice and that was agains us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hopefully we can bring in some quality players who can play the ball on the deck rather than hoofing it up the pitch....I doubt very much that Templeton will drop down the divisions, i'd be very suprised if this transfer occured.

PS Ed039, your dream team - mid table mediocrity lol - early days yet ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

The signing policy at ibrox is the most worrying thing just now. Kyle a man who hasn't played for 18 months. Cribari who is 32 & a Greek defender who is a right back & got hung out to dry at left back. I like the signings of shields, black & sandaza for where we are there good additions. But in the express story about Fink it says he was recommended by an investor so what are the scouts doing.

Agree3 Disagree1

Bristol city or rangers no option there some rangers fans need reality check were in divison three lets just be happy were still alive least big broadfoot couldnt be blamed for sunday get of allys back he brought in players we thought would walk this league players fault not his just remember what allys done for us in last six months hate to say it but celtic fans wouldnt treat a legend like this

Agree1 Disagree1

Lets hope that the players that ally wants will join rangers corby loyal w.a.t.p

Agree0 Disagree0

Wallace money was paid on time

BIL72

Agree0 Disagree0

Templeton and Daniel Larsson...absolutely no chance. Gomis on loan would be a coup but wages and convincing him to drop down so many divisions would be a problem. Fink, if he signs would be a standout in 3rd division.

Agree0 Disagree0

Danny larsson has a nice shot, handy when you need a last gasp goal, would like him in the team.
Dtp89

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic wouldnt treat a legend like this!! Billy McNeil sacked twice!

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice to see im not the only corby boy on here W.A.T.P azza RFC

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic wouldn't treat a legend like this??
Hurling abuse at the great "Henrik" because he dared clap when Barcelona scored against them.

Agree0 Disagree0

Templeton will easily get a move to the English Championship and maybe even the Premier. Hard to see why he would come to Rangers at this point in time anyway.

Agree0 Disagree0

Forget Templeton. Great player for his age and experience but not SFL3.

Agree0 Disagree0

Michael Fink looks pretty decent - lets hope he can batter in a few like this -

Terry Butcher to replace McCoist(good source)

Believable71 Unbelievable101

Just stop it Butcher will never manage Rangers most Rangers supporters wouldn't let him run a bath

If mccoist does get the bullet and that's a big if, i'd like to see big butcher or Stuart McCall come in and give it a go. Personally I would like to see ally succeed but this fear of playing youngsters and stickin with older players who are playing out of position is wrong.at least the young guys would give it a go

As what, Chief Pie tester?

Let,s not get ahead of ourselves, ally needed to kick ass i would expect that is now done, and its not a bad thing that we dont have to just turn up to win as now the players know they are gonna have to play better to win which in turn makes it more enjoyable for fans to watch, but ally wont be allowed to many games like that because it really was pe**** u choose?
but lets at least let ally c out the season and hopefully get them playing the way the should be for the wages their picking up.........rant over:)
oh and i would like to wish kirk broadfoot all the best where ever he ends up, I think we should have kept him, if he could cross the ball he would be exceptional:)

This is the best news ever. Love Ally but crud manager.

Why would Rangers be looking for a new manager when Green has already stated on record that he wants Super Ally there for the long term?
This isnt even a Rumour, this is fairytale fantasy that some rocket has dreamed up....sigh

I reckon if McCoist was to be replaced by anyone, it would be billy Davies coming in, rather than Butcher. he is a better manager and is unattached.

Agree1 Disagree0

Strange that r good source says Butcher is coming when a later post from a good source also says its Laudrup, need tae give this cr*p a rest n just support the team and manager!

Agree0 Disagree0

I said butcher yesterday but having seen post would prefer up and coming McColl working wonders with youth at Well and would command respect unlike McCoist whom clearly has NO COMMAND over his players , can you imagine what would have happened under Jock Wallace or Walter even Big Eck....george

ThIs 'rumour' is another example of the complete and utter arse-gravy spouted by clowns who want to stir up some excitement. If you can't talk sense, go away.

Terry Butcher...great player, not so great manager ! Ally will be given time because he deserves it - as soon as he gets his players to gel we will win leauge at ease and also Scottish Cup ! WATP

(shakes head)

I can't see McCoist getting fired unless there was a clear strong candidate to replace him. Not this early in the season anyway, and not just before a transfer ban. I mean, which manager would want to come in to a team and not be allowed to sign players?

For all that seems wrong, Rangers are nevertheless unbeaten this season.

Wonder where rangers would be in the SPL if the vote had gone the other way?

Have heard Paul buckle is being lined up as he has vast experience in lower divisions
