Just read the statement from the club about the alleged threat to a director and his family I think mr Irvine is at the madam and this is absolute rubbish they are actually panicking about the meetings and the fans at last getting together as a very powerful force and they can't stop it legally.
What we have is the politburo in action trying the jack Irvine method of discrediting anybody they can to score points.
I was personally at the meeting tonight and their was not one single mention or attempt to try and incite any trouble! That is a fact and anybody who was there please let everybody know as I think the club are freaking out and trying to get police Scotland to do their dirty work and try and stop any meeting and boycotts etc!
The police can NOT stop you going about your business in a lawful manner!
It looks like they will try and make an example to some fans but this will only galvanise the fans even more and discredit the board even further.
There's me thinking we lived in a democracy and the year is 2013!
I wonder how much this will cost the club? More overtime for police Scotland paid for by Glasgow rangers SPIVS dept.

Take a deep breath and go back to the Rangers website and re-read the statement. You appear to have firmly grasped the wrong end of the stick.

@op I think you will find on the official statement that rangers said
"The board is also aware that certain individuals are holding meetings and inciting fans to unruly behaviour. This has also been reported to the police"
that is in fact incorrect and that is the main point I was referring to!
the other part I have not seen and I believe it was on FF but listen it would not be impossible for Irvine to have that arranged just to try and split the support and deflect from the fact the fans are beginning to agree.
if you believe everything you read from the official website then that is your choice after all it is a free country.

What vile threatening message? I have read the supposed threatening message and there's nothing threatening about it. If anything the poster actually condemns the use of violence and supports the use of peaceful methods.
It's an attempt by the board to discredit the message board in question as they are massively opposed on it and they don't want that to spread across to all fans.
The messages in question were taken down.
Anybody thinking this board are still sending out fake messages to social media are clowns.
Have you not seen the amount of internally leaked emails from Ibrox on twitter? Any director doing so would have to be 100% totally mad.
