Can anyone like me understand why we paid 700,000 for templeton? 3rd division sides shouldn't be paying transfer fees like this for hearts players, thought it was a desperate signing at the time now im really convinced it was, what's your thoughts ed? {The Ed039's Note - I have said all along that these were not the type of player we should be signing, he is a good player and I am glad he is at Rangers, but if it was numbers McCoist was on about then surely that wage and 700k could have been put to good use on some seasoned, hardened pros, but again I think he is a good player, I was good friends with his brother Alan at school and facebooked him when he signed lol, but McCoist seemed to want quantity and quality when he was searching for faces in the window but it was never going to be the case and I think this money could have been put to better use, ie 3 decent players instead of 1 potentially wuality signing)

He was the big thing at the moment regardless if you or ed like him, we signed him and thats that. he is now a rangers player and has been for many months, so lets get behind him ae boys? and dont say your not slagging him off why comment at all, get behind the player! {The Ed039's Note - I do like him, and will get behind him, it is what it is, I was asked an opinion and I gave it, but yes I do agree, lets get behind him and everyone else)

I think he was signed as a player to build the team around rather than a stop-gap. We still have the year long transfer embargo that actually works out at an 18 month embargo as our ban finishes as the transfer window closes.
Im looking forward to seeing "Cooper" back in action again as i think he is exactly what the team is missing right now!

Temps will be sold asap for a tidy profit. He is at sevco to 'sort himself out'. it is well known about Edinburgh that he has a few off the field problems.

I think he was a great signing, and is the way we should be conducting our business i.e sign some young talents, develop and sell on for a profit to keep the clubs funds up and running. Just look at Ajax the other night, couple known names and the rest were through the system. Lets hope with aird, mckay etc we get a good few years out them, make a profit and then bring the next batch through.

Considering he stays in glasgow, maybe your talking pish lad?

So how much temps be sold for then? and what problems has he got exactly?

He's about the only one at the minute who would stay in the team at SPL level. McCulloch will be finished by the time we get back up. Black may get a spot on the bench. Couple of the youngsters may be fully fledged starters by then. Temps would be in my starting 11 in SPL when fit without doubt. Thats if we haven't wrecked the guys development by then.

I also think that by signing Temps for that kind of money was also a bit of a two finger salute at a number of SPL teams who could only dream of spending such a figure. Anyone agree? {The Ed039's Note - I dont think so mate, I just think Ally wanted some kind of a marquee signing, made him and Green look good but at the same time they looked foolish because that was the only signing)

What proof have you that you actually paid for him yet {The Ed039's Note - what proof have u got of the payment terms? Jus mad blades ranting?)

He was signed to sell season tickets!! Just another aspect of the pish that Green spouts to take advantage of a loyal support! Good player but totally agree with eds original comments!
