Just read mike ashley will drop his case against the s. f. a. in re dave king being fit and proper, is that 3 nil to dave king or is something on the cards regarding kitt deal now that wwe are back in the top leeague. to be announced tomorrow, seeminglay.

All his shady moves seem to be coming back to bite him recently. I think he's just trying to calm down all the media attention on his shares plummeting to stem the tide. Hopefully we can get the merch deal sorted soon and be free of this greedy man.

28 Apr 2016 13:23:19
If he has to pay Dave King money for costs. : kings should just ask for his shares instead.

28 Apr 2016 19:20:43
Goatboydundee aye his shares in sports direct, lol.

Can anyone please shed some light on David Templeton? Why has he been out, is he being kept on, is he going to be given a chance, is there something going on behind the scenes, has he fallen out with someone or what. Been wondering for a while.

27 Apr 2016 19:34:51
Serious knee injury been out 10 months now.

27 Apr 2016 19:40:38
Is he staying or being released?

27 Apr 2016 19:54:07
David Templeton will never play for Rangers again. He's done at our club.

Templeton and Shiels both signed 4 year contracts when we were in division 3. Comtracts that would see their wage increase year after year. Both are now in their last year and are probably our highest earners. We must get rid of them and bring in guys who are good enough to start.

27 Apr 2016 20:05:16
I'll be shocked if he's offered a new deal.

27 Apr 2016 20:25:21
no dissrespect but david templeton has been absolutley poor for rangers injury prone and i'm sure he cost us near 1 million from hearts back in 2012 when we wur in division 3 another mccoist buy plus he's on massive wages aswell i'm sure he's pickin up somethin like 7k a week we must get rid of the dead wood for next season then replace them with quality wich no doubt MW and DW will do so future is lookin blue.

27 Apr 2016 20:33:49
It's a shame about templeton, potential was there.

27 Apr 2016 20:48:57
I think if he stayed injury free warbs could get him playing at his best again. He did play well in two or so games he got at the start of the season but its to little too late for him in my opinion.

27 Apr 2016 21:37:51
Templeton. aird. law shiels. clark . bell all need to go in my eyes. get them off the wage bill. with the loanees going back i think we need at least 8 players in total. looking forward to close season c who we get.

27 Apr 2016 23:17:50
I agree, I think all the players mentioned from the previous regime have had it too easy for too long and getting paid fortunes for it. There's no going back for any of them. If they had shown half the heart of Wallace between them they would have been ok.

28 Apr 2016 08:49:15
some of the out of contract players may be offered contracts at less than half there present salaries.

28 Apr 2016 13:10:36
I think MW will look at keeping the likes of Shiels and maybe even Law on reduced salaries. Bell, Clark, Aird and Templeton will I think go. Pity about Templeton. Good player with bags of potential but too much of a risk. I think Ball will return on another loan deal and I think the guys from Dundee (Stewart and Hemmings) will be on the radar. Hemmings was blighted by injury first time here and deserves another shot while I really rate Stewart and it helps that he is a big Rangers man. Ps Santa can you also bring us James Morrison and Graham Dorrans and maybe Anya?

29 Apr 2016 00:04:43
Ramsey Gottsparro Crawford Templeton Sheilds Bell Clarke Murdoch Aird McSimmonds will all be away

Knox hopfully will come in
Along with Crooks and Windass
We got a lot of work to do.

I would be disappointed if Warburton considered offering a new deal to Shiels. He has the heart of a mouse, he loses concentration and at best he is only worthwhile as a back up player and for what we pay him we must be able to get a younger better alternative.

Clark just hasn't got it sadly and Law is just not committed enough or consistent enough.

As for Bell, we might be stuck with him for another season but I hope not.

Templeton is a strange one. He has been injured for most of his time at Rangers and during the period he has been with us he has never had the benefit of a proper coaching set up. He could flourish under Warburton's guidance but I seriously wonder whether he will ever play top class football again. We may find that the young lad has to give up the game and that would be seriously unfortunate.

Aird I don't know. He is playing at full back in Canada so I guess a lot depends on who we are able to bring in as cover for the full back position.

29 Apr 2016 10:41:43
Law will be gone to end up at Motherwell with his brother probably would actually be a good signing for them.

28 Apr 2016 13:46:54
Templeton has done nothing in his time at ibrox, he may have been unlucky with injuries but when he has played he's been very lightweight.

Please remember that he done very little towards the end of his time at hearts as well- he was falling out the picture there when we signed him.

Clearly he had talent but it's been unfulfilled talent. I know one of the youth coaches at hearts and he can't believe what a flop he's been. He had suggested his attitude is a factor.

Giving him a new deal would be utterly mad. Unless it was on a pay as you play basis but even then would be pointless. Seriously can't understand why anyone thinks giving him a new deal is worth considering.

Likes of shields and law should have been bursting a gut recently to earn a new deal and sadly they haven't. I like them both but time to move on and bring better players in.

Rangers rumoured to be interested in Bradden Inman from Crewe.

27 Apr 2016 15:42:00
He is a good player but is very good mates with Nile Ranger, maybe we need to give him a wide berth!

27 Apr 2016 16:54:49
@JFC - Nile won't be coming with him and they'll live in different countries. I doubt there's anything to worry about.

27 Apr 2016 18:00:41
He must be on a 'FREE' if he's Inman.

27 Apr 2016 22:00:40
Pigeon, if hang about with mental cases, you generally are a mental case or at the very least a mental case by association. And how do they live in different countries?

28 Apr 2016 00:06:01
I didn't say they live in different countries. I said "they'll live in different countries" which will be the case if one moves to Scotland.

Having a friend that's gone off the rails doesn't mean Inman's is a "mental case". The boy seems nothing lke Nile Ranger.

28 Apr 2016 08:01:51
Inman is also well known for his attitude crewe dropped him this year because of it. He has the talent but he choses not to use it.

28 Apr 2016 14:47:26
There's no doubt McParland has been sniffing around Crewe, but not for Inman. See my pervious posts.
