Checked out the Dorrans rumour and unfortunately there is no truth in it. Would have been a great signing.

27 Apr 2016 08:13:13
How did you manage to check it out and confirm there is no truth in it?

27 Apr 2016 08:35:03
Father used to be his wife's boss before they moved south and got him to ask. They have had the house in East Kilbride for a few months nothing new.

27 Apr 2016 12:21:50
theres no deniyin dorrans is good i think he would be great too but this boy fae livi knox looks a player in a half and he's only 16 also trainin with rangers but they were wantin more than the 100k that we offerd them i would try and get him as soon as he reminds me bit like ryan gauld was for dundee utd.

27 Apr 2016 14:24:50
Thanks foreverblue91.

27 Apr 2016 14:25:32
Not disputing he's a prospect but that's all he is. Some young players improve, many don't. Realistically he would be 2-3 seasons before he would be ready to play for our first team.

27 Apr 2016 20:14:58
I agree with Luigi. I watched the game yesterday and I'd be uncomfortable if he was in our first team next season. Dorrans, however, would walk in.

26 Apr 2016 15:38:13
Greg stewart on the radar . Would be a decent singing. Bit similar to waggy! Lethal left peg.

26 Apr 2016 20:26:45
he's rangers man aswell would be fantastic signing for us cutting in from the right hand side onto that left foot off his and placing it in the far corner of the net its his trade mark, plus can hit free kicks as well. and i've no doubt he would always score against celtic. he scores against dundee utd all the time.

in saying that the fee would probably be around 400k 500k and his wage probably something like 6 to 7k a week so in my opinion that's value for money he's only 25 or 26 still young.

26 Apr 2016 21:58:43
This from evening telegraph

Dundee have held talks with Greg Stewart about extending his Dens Park deal.

The Dark Blues forward has one year left on his contract and speculation has linked Stewart with a move elsewhere, including to boyhood heroes Rangers.

26 Apr 2016 22:39:18
I'd rather have Vuckic.

27 Apr 2016 12:19:33
harris vuckic lol okay mate haha good one he wouldn't get no were near a game for us now we were in a bad place at that time those days are well and truely over now and plus he's at wigan or somethin now i think so nah your okay he can stay were he is!

27 Apr 2016 15:21:01
You would turn down vuckic and sign Stewart? Stewart is bang average nowhere near the level required.

27 Apr 2016 16:58:13
Cee i can't agree with your reply regarding stewart, apart from that, we would probably never heard of vuchic if if wasnt for ashley trying to reduce his injury list at new utd, and trying to lower new utd wage bill.

27 Apr 2016 17:55:55
Stewart is listed for player of the year, hardly bang average.

27 Apr 2016 20:19:51
Cee. are u bein serious greg stewart is average come on that's crazy man from part time football to dundee and bangs in 15 goals first season and he's scored somethin like 11 goals this season if that's not provin your worth then what is? he's up for PFA player of the year aswell lol and your sayin he's average okay mate wotever, the boys goals are class aswell absolute belter of a left peg on him when he cuts inside from the right and places it in the far corner as andy grey would say take a bow son!

28 Apr 2016 13:26:17
Is he better than waghorn? No. We need better players a step up is required especially upfront.

26 Apr 2016 14:54:36
Rangers have been linked with Aaron Holloway. (The Scotsman)

26 Apr 2016 15:52:35
just after reading that! not to sure about that one if i'm honest, a lot of injury set backs in the past.

26 Apr 2016 17:25:09
I imagine any deal for him would be low cost and therefore low risk to us. He's a big strong lad who will cause a lot of problems for defenders.

26 Apr 2016 18:47:13
Alot of people said the about forrester when he signed. If mw thinks he can do a job then that's fine by me.

27 Apr 2016 11:28:18
Wouldn't go for him, looked at his goal scoring record and to be honest, it's dreadful. (Not saying this because I'm a Jambo, I honestly wouldn't want him to come to us either)

27 Apr 2016 14:30:34
He's the kind of standard of player that hearts should be looking at. Not us, especially if we are trying to build a team to challenge for title.

Wycombe Thought he had potential and have since loaned him out. ie he's not been good enough to make it at Wycombe otherwise they would be extending his deal.

Don't want reckless spending but MW needs to show his football knowledge extends beyond the lost souls of lower league English football.

27 Apr 2016 16:59:46
Manx jambo the player has probably never heard of hearts fc.

27 Apr 2016 18:07:29
You're acting all tough now but remember last season? When Hearts had just been relegated and forced to use youth players every game? However, we still wiped the floor with Rangers and the championship and also hold the record that Rangers WILL NEVER break?

27 Apr 2016 20:15:30
Hearts wouldn't have been relegated if it wasn't for a points deduction. So they Where playing in the championship with a team from a league above.

28 Apr 2016 08:32:36
No, we got relegated, doesn't matter if the points had a hand in it. Either way, we weren't scared of you back then, we aren't now.

25 Apr 2016 23:59:14
Rangers interested in taking Che Adams on season loan from Sheff Utd also there are reports that Steve Davis would take a return to Ibrox.

26 Apr 2016 00:32:47
Dont know much about the lad Evans but if wages wernt an issue Davis would add experience to the middle of the park. Unsure if he's the kind of player we need for next season atm but would certainly be a good addition.

26 Apr 2016 02:19:27
Why would Rangers loan Che Adams? He's good enough to start for them. We'd be buying him outright.

26 Apr 2016 11:12:29
Steven Davis is way out of our price range, I would love Davis back in a gers top but it's not going to happen, we would at least have to bid upwards of 3 million and we don't have that kind of money for one player, we will be lucky to spend 3 million on our whole budget this summer.

26 Apr 2016 13:34:25
as far as i'm concerd steven davis can go and do one i don't want any of them amigos back and that includes davis naismith lafferty whittaker mcgregor and so on they all left us when we wur down and out and nearly 1 foot in the grave now if they were proper rangers FANS would they have left not an absolute chance they would have all stayed and fought like william wallace to get us back were we belong, look at lee wallace he stayed and didna jump ship down to england when he was getting offerd more money why cause he loves rangers and that's why he's allready a gers legend and every rangers fan is proud off him for stickin by. maybe yous can all forget and forgive but i'll never ever forgive any them players just walkin out on us! no surrender.

26 Apr 2016 14:42:37
To be fair Barry, Davis got us money from Southampton. I would have Davis back in a heartbeat but I agree think he's well out our price range.

26 Apr 2016 14:44:02
I think you'll find barry that Davis was the only player we got transfer money for and still good enough to walk into this team.

26 Apr 2016 15:00:35
did davis not go so we could get a fee?
i know the rest of them left for nothing and/ or walked but i'm sure davis was an exeption.

26 Apr 2016 15:03:50
Love your loyalty bm, but stop and have a think. Most of these guys had a young family and took the best option they had available to them. They might even have had some insight into what was coming whyte/ green etc. As for wwallace, good on him but I think you will find the reason he stayed was nothing to do with loyalty, but from pressure closer to home.
Wise up, move on, if MW thinks any of these guys can do a job, I'm willing to back him.
Onward and forever upwards.

26 Apr 2016 15:27:52
Yes we got money for him but no where near as much as we paid for him or what we would of got if he had been sold. Although fair play to him for getting us something he didn't have to.

26 Apr 2016 15:39:48
Jamie ness got us a fee too.

26 Apr 2016 17:39:04
badmouthing Davis is a whole load of nonsense for goodness sake. The lad got us a fee when 3/ 4 of the squad we had didn't and you've also got to put into mind that davis was a total stand out in that squad and the opportunity he had to go down and play in the premier league, how could you possibly hold him back from that? Me personally would take Davis back in a heartbeat he's got experience under his belt and is a tremendous player but let's be realistic here there's no chance we could afford a player who's been starting for a premier league side. His wages alone and the fee would be susbstantial.

26 Apr 2016 14:33:17
Davis is more than welcome back in my opinion- he made sure Southampton paid us money even though they were under no obligation to do so.

Unlike naismith, lafferty etc.

He's spoken several times of his wish to return, which is only realistic when his Southampton contact ends and assuming he will accept a big drop in wages.

In my opinion he's the best player wr have had in past decade and he doesn't get the credit he deserves- he has been consistently good for Southampton.

If a way can be found to bring him back I'm all for it.

26 Apr 2016 14:41:40
Davis got resigned and got us a transfer fee, so no idea why your having a pop at him.

26 Apr 2016 20:49:11
great player Davis would love him back.

26 Apr 2016 21:13:47
Davis was a cracking player at his time with us and played for the jersey. He had no choice but to leave as he was one that commanded a fee. He has the club at heart and would give us a skilled wise presence to control the midfield and give us a goal threat too. Worth every penny.
