ed any word on Boccanegra and edu and goian {Ed039's Note - Nothing yet, they can go but they just need offers firmed up)

Believable17 Unbelievable8

All three played in training games today, suggesting they may still be around for the Brechin game. If it goes ahead.

Robbie savage wants to play for us for free, Fair play to him I say, not offen a footballer does something for free, I'd take him in a sec.

Believable65 Unbelievable54

Deffo the way to go.a load of has beens! What happened to a young hungry team?

Agree1 Disagree3

Eh, we cant afford wages silly, so if we get a short term player like Robbie for FREE.....

I'll let you fill in the dots smart guy or girl.

Agree3 Disagree1

Sends out a great message to the youngsters if that wer to happen, better with lily savage

Agree2 Disagree2

Sign him and thats two savages in the team him and black

Agree1 Disagree0

I think having old heads with loads of experience in the squad can only be a good thing for the young players coming through. Rangers supporters are well known for being non-supportive to young players when results are'nt going our way, so having some experienced players in the squad can only be a good thing.

Agree3 Disagree0

Legend! I'd take him in a second. He'd be great for club morale, and a good role model for the youngsters.

Agree2 Disagree0

Take him in a heart beat. I'd offer him a minimal wage though. don't want to be seen as beggars really. even if its hundreds per week, better than nowt.
But I've always liked him as a player, he seems a nice bloke and He'd do a job in div. 3. we need squad players so even if he isnt fit for 90 minute games at least we have him there when we need him.
GET HIM!
WATP ste

Agree1 Disagree0

I agree better off with lily, good ceptic fan, he has always openly said he supports the green aliens

Agree0 Disagree1

I don't think everyone understands. He says he'll play if Ally NEEDS him, that doesn't necessarily mean he expects to be in the first 11. I for one would take him to beef the numbers up a bit as we need all the help we can get at the moment.

Azzy

Agree0 Disagree0

Spot with older players but not retired players we need , would be as well getting ally on for the last 20 mins you see the way he scored against Milan

Agree1 Disagree0

Robbie Savage , Ian Black and Lee McCulloch in mid-field looks like Ally wants to kick his way out of div 3 , you'd be as well trying to get Joey Barton on loan just to be sure lol .

Agree2 Disagree0

To be fair mate every team that Rangers play in D3 will fight tooth and nail, Bring on the Savage!!

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we should take Robbie Savage more people would go to watch 3rd division games to see him he's a celebrity . It would attract more attention from down south they would be talking about the 3rd division no one cares about the spl anymore wherever Rangers is that's where the action is .

Agree1 Disagree0

Good to hear though I still say lets use the situation to try and develop our youth.

Agree0 Disagree0

HEEEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAA

seriously.... Robbie Savage........ seriously, have you not had enough embarrassment this past 12 months as it is?

With this and the "Gazza, I will play" story... who are you going to ask to play next? Hately? Hurlock? big DJ??

ANY decent fan will realise this is just people using the old clubs name for a bit of paper time...

Agree0 Disagree0

Yep Robbie Savage just what we need to win SFL3!

FFS he would be taking the place of one of our younger players and denying them a chance for experience and toughening up in a physical league.

That would be it for me, no renewal of ST.

Green will have us in admin before Xmas if all these guys that have been mentioned are signed on wages 100 times higher than the average SFL3 wage.

Agree0 Disagree0

Excellent signing - he has always been an inspiration to whichever club he is at both on and off the park. yorkielad

Agree0 Disagree0

I dont think you could go wrong with savage at least he's not after lots of cash like the 1s that sold there souls and so called Rangers fan's that left for small teams but big cash

Agree0 Disagree0

An ex-professional footballer offers his services to help a football club yet some people can still find negatives in this - remember recently we were trying just to get 11 signed players , so whether its just an off the cuff statement or not , Mr Savage should be applauded for offering his services.

Agree0 Disagree0

I totaly agree you mate robbie savage is a star and he would be made welcome at ibrox corby blue w.a.t.p

Agree0 Disagree0

Do u think we could mabea add Kevin bridges our squad. its just comedy coming out off brokers now..... the airport bear

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm a Liverpool supporter but i wanted to come on here and just say that Savage has gone up in my estimation. Really great thing to do.

My hope now is that Rangers will get back up where you belong. Good luck.

Agree1 Disagree0

People going off on one and whining about giving the youth a chance. Just because we sign Robbie Savage for FREE and pay him NOTHING. Doesn't mean the youth won't get a chance. In case any of you brainless morons haven't noticed. We have less than 15 players signed to our club. We need all the bloody help we can get. SAVAGE FOR GERS! YES F***ING PLEASE!

Agree1 Disagree0

Also, to the guy who said "no renewal of ST" because of Savage signing. Just go home mate. Don't renew, you're just a waste of space.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wages 100 times higher? I think you'll find if you take a D3 footballer on 200 a week and compare him to Savage on 0 a week. It probably works out at around 200 times lower. Sometimes the pessimistic side of our support really get under my skin.

Agree1 Disagree0

In a tough league where they will be kickin lumps out rangers who is going to protect the youth? they need someone with steel gaurding them to let them florish

Agree0 Disagree0

Must be true if he said he'd play for free on Twiter. And it's not like he's a publicity seeker or anything.

BARNEY BEAR

Agree0 Disagree0

To the mathematically-challenged last poster - there is no multiple of 0. 200 times 0 is still 0.

Agree0 Disagree0

The gullible get under my skin.

Its just pulp fiction puplicity.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lilly savage would do a job in the 3rd

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2012 20:13:29
Robbin Savage has offered his services to Rangers. He has said he will come out of retirement and play for nothing. I for one would take him in a minute.Who agrees?

Believable52 Unbelievable32

Hell yeah, passion over profit anyday

Agree2 Disagree0

Once he realises there are no mirrors in 3rd division dressing rooms he'll be off like a shot {Ed039's Note - Or dedicated dumpers for refs)

Agree0 Disagree0

Lily is just trying to make mockery of the gers situation, hes a jungle jim

Agree1 Disagree1

Once he realises OP doesn't know his first name he will want a premium lol

Agree0 Disagree0

You would be better with lilly savage,

Agree0 Disagree0

Paul Gascoigne! :-D

Agree0 Disagree0

The 'jungle jim' comment just proves that the moronic element in our support will never change. no wonder the rest of Scottish football want rid of us with that pish still going on. Grow up ffs!

Agree1 Disagree0

25 Jul 2012 20:05:12
Robbie Savage-I will play for free I could still do a job in Div 3.Source STV.
HE would make a good addition and could pass on some metal to younger players.

Believable43 Unbelievable18

Robbie would be great for the moral of our club during these dark times.

Agree4 Disagree0

Think he would be a great signing he is still fit as a fiddle and is a great experienced old head i think him and mccullloch would be formidable and really bring the young boys through

Agree2 Disagree0

I always would have loved to have seen Robbie at Ibrox years a go,so better late than never and for nothing what a guy super Savage.

Agree2 Disagree0

Yip fit as a fiddle the guy is..... He's just back from the live tour of dancing on ice ha ha brilliant

Agree2 Disagree0

Totally agree with all the above. Also, if results wern't going our way with a team full of inexperienced youngsters, I know for a fact that the supporters would hardly be supportive as proved many times in the past. Having experienced players to take the burden off the young players can only be a positive move.

Agree0 Disagree1

John Greig could still do a job in Div 3 ffs , Ian Black , Craig Beattie , Robbie Savage , scraping the barrell lads lol

Agree0 Disagree3

Robbie would need hot water for the showers...not sure he will be guaranteed that in SFL3 !

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2012 18:49:40
ed do u think there is a chance rangers could get a few young players from man u as sir alex`s is a rangers fan and used to play for us

SM {Ed039's Note - No not really, if he is going to send them out he would want them to get a higher level of experience)

Believable10 Unbelievable21

Get a vgrip ya tappin git ye

Agree0 Disagree0

We have our own young players, let them play!!

Agree2 Disagree0

Why would he say it then. {Ed039's Note - Why would who say what?)

Agree0 Disagree0

Alex said today HE would like his young players to help us out. {Ed039's Note - Sorry I must have missed that, he would need to send them on 2 year loan deals then because this window would be the only time he would be able to send them until Jan 2014)

Agree0 Disagree0

For a Rangers fan he didn't speak to highly of them in his book and if he was even contemplating such an arrangement then he would set his young players a better standard .... the Blue Square League would better suit his and the players needs .

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you guys genuinely not know the reason ferguson left?!

Agree0 Disagree0

He still holds a grudge he was made to play on public parks against bus drivers police so i dont think so

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes i do the rest the players and their partners would not accept fergies wife because she kicked with her left foot w.at.p

Agree0 Disagree0

On man u tv he said he would be happy to give us some kids on loan, and the kids should jump at it due to our training ground and would get plenty of playing time

Agree0 Disagree0

Sir Alex is die-hard Gers. I know that for a fact a family friend of ours has met SAF a few times through a mutual friend and Sir Alex loves Rangers to bits.

However he won't loan us any players for same reason he hasn't before coz there's better teams will take his players on loan. He's a big fan but he's not stupid.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mistake in 1969 scottish cup final, nothing to do with his wife being catholic as he states in his book.

Peter"peaso"McDonald signs for newco along with Gary Teale
,.,.kbarry

Believable14 Unbelievable51

Oh man things can't get worse can they ?
The airport bear

Agree1 Disagree0

Why do peole feel the need to waste there time on this site we don't have a licence hence can't sign anyone where do you get this garbage.source please?

Agree1 Disagree0

Surely not............

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont think we need any more players.should give the youth a chance as they are the future of the club.

Agree1 Disagree1

Who is peter mcdonald? {Ed039's Note - Started off at Rangers, ex St Johnstone)

Agree0 Disagree0

FFS...... It's a rumour site! Teams are aloud to agree deals a good wee while in advance before anything official, and if the new rangers get the licence they need then players will already have been lined up weather it takes to end I transfer window or not to get the deal done!! God man.......wether rumours are true or not deals will already be lined up.

Agree1 Disagree0

He signed for another year at Morton get your facts right instead of posting rubbish rumours

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye Mortan lol we are still simply the best and I'm sure we will be offering more than mortans whole wage bill grow up rangers will have cash not lots but enoughrh to Singh free agents and give them more wages than spl teams the Inverness boys are on about 1k a week

Agree0 Disagree0

What you forget is yes you may pay more. But your 2 divisions below the ton n he isn't a young pro any more he wants to play as high as he can for the remender of his career not like black, beattie and so on c Mon Ye ton I hope we play yous n show what 1 st division football is like not 3 rd which yous will compete in . Ps good luck brechin city

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant sign players yet still no licence. people need to listen

Rangers have offered contract to Jennings, Black, Teale, Robbie Neilson, Dean Sheils and Roberts {Ed039's Note - Need a licence first. And who is Roberts?)

Believable17 Unbelievable28

Do you seriously think there is a Rangers fan on the planet that doesn't know, and needs reminding, that we don't have a license yet? {Ed039's Note - The ones who are claiming that people have signed contracts)

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed. This post said contracts had been offered, not signed. So post could be correct. {Ed039's Note - Corrected)

Agree0 Disagree0

No reason why contracts cannot be offered and signed. The license is required to register those contracts with the SFA.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's illegal to offer contracts to players if you do not have a licence. The Ed is spot on. We are not a registered club with any association so we can NOT offer contracts.

Agree0 Disagree0

Gary Teale plays for St Mirren in the SPL !!

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 don't talk daft. I could phone up Ian Black and offer him a contract to play for me, he would tell me where to go but there is nothing stopping me from doing so. Rangers can offer contracts to whomever they choose as they only become legally binding once they are signed.

Agree0 Disagree0

You can't offer a contract if you don't have a licence or membership of an FA ffs its not difficult

Agree0 Disagree0

And where exactly is the money coming from for the wages......Green is skint and is doing the rounds looking for investors to pay this month's salaries.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jason roberts

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed I think it's graham Roberts seen as the macho man Robbie savage might come out of retirement.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2012 12:21:24
not a rumor but more of a thought. ed, what do you think of putting inn a loan bid for hazard JR. he has just joined chelsea but they would like to loan him out. i assume they wouldn't be keen on seeing him play on the pitches in div 3 though! {Ed039's Note - He would get better match experience playing in Chelsea U21's than SFL3. They will prob loan him out but somewhere like Belguim or the like. Plus we need a licence to sign and play. And soon)

Believable4 Unbelievable13

I find it incredible that people are still on here talking of signings? How many bears on here have bought a season ticket? Notwithstanding the licence issue, Charles Green has no money. He can't afford rangers ffs. Either punters buy ST in there
1000s of the club will go down forever in days! FFS please wake up you lot cause i don't want your club to become extinct. The time for waiting and seeing has long since past!

Agree0 Disagree3

Talking about signings is one thing but Eden Hazard seriously id laugh at Celtic fans thinking they could get him on loan!

Larky Bear {Ed039's Note - Larky, not Eden Hazard, his younger brother who signed for Chelsea and is in under 21 squad. But still laughable)

Agree0 Disagree0

Pfffffffftttt LOL

Agree0 Disagree0

My apoligies Lukaku on loan was the rumour last year lol

Larky Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

You still owe them money, so I'd say nae chance

Agree0 Disagree0

RIDICULOUS! Worse than Kilmarnock asking to take Paul Scholes on loan MANY years ago!

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers reach agreement with SFA andSFL over licence, but are still to reach agreement with the SPL. Source rangers web site

Believable25 Unbelievable39

This has been all over the papers... not really worth printing as a rumour

Agree0 Disagree0

Isn't that the same position as yesterday ?

Agree0 Disagree0

This is not rumour, this is a fact?!?!?

Agree1 Disagree0

Eh! Do us a fav chum maybe post the link to this as nothing on offical site?

Agree0 Disagree0

Saw that.

Can't understand what SPL agreement is required for SFA membership.

Mac2. {Ed039's Note - They need to agree to release oldco licence to newco, which I cant understand as I thought it was transferred to Dundee)

Agree2 Disagree0

If we don't get a licence can I get my money back on the SATNAV I bought to get me to all those exotic Div 3 grounds. You tell me where Annan is! {Ed039's Note - Faroe Islands)

Agree0 Disagree0

They agreed this last night.
Does that mean we get a license?
Any idea whats the obsticles with the SPL . {Ed039's Note - The obstacles are dual payments and TV rights)

Agree0 Disagree0

Another Green deadline come and gone and still no licence. It is just as well that it is a fairy tale that your nose grows when you lie or Charlie boy would have a conk that could display all 52 flags. with room to hang up the teams washing as well. {Ed039's Note - 52 flags? Maybe 54??)

Agree1 Disagree1

I don't see what the dual payments question has to do with this. What is the worst that can happen? They would hardly grant a license to the club and then revoke it as a punishment? That would be pretty pointless.

Agree0 Disagree0

Spl kick gers out yet want tv rights cant have it both ways stuff spl

Agree0 Disagree0

Servco need spl green light to get a licence.dual contracts and tv rights holding up licence.from an inside source been told they are at war over money ,titles.. transfer of share to Dundee.and it is looking bad for servco wont get the licence.also the arrogance of green thinks that the clubs will accept there demands before the dead line...jc

hi heard from a good source that we are going to sign black, beattie, teale, jennings this week

Believable25 Unbelievable45

Beattie has an offer on the table from Notts County that he's still considering.

Agree2 Disagree0

Oh that will be the Daily Record then

Agree1 Disagree1

Bad source.

No Beattie, Ally happy with Little as a cheaper option, didn't expect him to re-sign.
Beatts is reluctantly going down south.

Agree0 Disagree1

Please not teale hes hopeless

Agree1 Disagree0

Is that the same Jennings as was at M/well last season and implicated in some betting thing ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Your source=todays papers

Agree0 Disagree0

Stunning, better than laudrup, gascoigne, butcher gough,oh you didnae sign them the club that did is deid.lol........That is quality signings for a new club....

Agree0 Disagree2

Whos the GOOD SOURCE springburn job centre?

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2012 10:30:34
Black, Beattie to sign in the next 3 days if we get the licence and we are still linked with- teale, sheils, sandaza

Believable14 Unbelievable41

We will never get sandaza and i personally don't want him

Agree2 Disagree0

Beattie not signing, McCoist never even offered him terms, despite him being flying at training, and playing in a 3x30m 90mins at Ibrox.
He is gutted, but likely to move down south

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2012 10:24:00
Now this is true. Brian Kennedy has been seen in Manchester with..................take a guess.......................Craig Whyte. Seen at the Thistle Hotel in Manchester this morning just after 9am. Why? I don't know but am asking myself why the two of them would even be meeting at all. Mate works there and passed this info on to me. Don't think it's a wind up either. Mate's a life long Rangers fan. Both men are using the small scale conference facilities at the hotel.

Believable26 Unbelievable38

Well if they are stupid enough to meet in such a public spot, who knows. You think they are stupid?

Agree1 Disagree0

Didn't they both meet previously before Kennedy's offer ?

Agree1 Disagree1

Yea i believe you!! not!!

Agree2 Disagree0

It will be more sceptic p..h

Agree1 Disagree0

Really? cmon...and i'm assuming your mates battery ran out before he could get a pic...

Agree1 Disagree0

Yet another person with no camera to take a photo using a mobile

Agree1 Disagree0

More dodgy doings than Yalta....

Agree0 Disagree0

Your probably right it isnt true

Agree1 Disagree0

What a load of rubbish - I'll eat my shoes if proved wrong!

Agree1 Disagree0

Oh I hope he took a picture I mean if you saw them you'd take a picture wouldnt you I mean with your phone you would wouldn't you. Pull the other one its got bells on !

Agree1 Disagree0

Stop this s###e we don't need it

Agree1 Disagree0

Aye and lord lucan joined them for a pint

JG

Agree1 Disagree0

I think this rumour may have legs on it I still can't understand why CW walked away with two quid in his tail!!

Agree0 Disagree1

Dont knock it big boy maybe theyre an item?

Agree0 Disagree0

CAHRLES GREEN IS A MEMEBER OF A COMPANY CALLED OCTUPUS OWED BY TICKETUS! {Ed039's Note - owed what by Ticketus)

Agree0 Disagree0

That's funny.. Kennedy is in Glasgow ya muppet...

Agree0 Disagree0

FFS just seen shergar with elvis....

Agree1 Disagree0

Just seen shagger driving craig whites bentley at edinburgh zoo {Ed039's Note - Maybe he is into his Mrs as well, after all she has possesion of said mobile)

To all serious and sensible fans. I really think if you want the club to go forward then you must buy season tickets as without the sale of season tickets then the club cannot budget for the season as it shall not be known how many shall turn up every second week and administration could soon follow. Celtic have sold 48000 so even if only 20000 turn up they still have the money for the 28000 that are not there. So hurry hurry or it could be bust again.

Believable45 Unbelievable37

I will renew mine as soon as Rangers set a facility to make that possible.

Agree2 Disagree0

Been on the website for buying a season ticket and it clearly ticket sales have been suspended.
Anyone know when this will change ?

Agree1 Disagree0

Are you for real?

WE ARE NOT GUARANTEED TO BE PLAYING FOOTBALL YET.

Once we have membership, I'm sure the season tickets will sell very well.

Agree1 Disagree0

Where are yoou getting the figures for Celtic?

Fair point though - we need to reach a point where we start focusing on football and getting back to the top again.

Agree2 Disagree0

It's all down to trust. Personally I don't trust CG and trust is a very hard thing to achieve among rangers fans.I think it would be a different story if rangers people were in charge of running rangers.

Agree0 Disagree1

May have something to do that at this moment in time no licence to play football has been granted.

Agree1 Disagree0

Don't believe that figure!! anyway not renewing with Green in charge, another Whyte!!

Agree1 Disagree1

I thought there was still uncertainty over where the money was going to due to oldco liquidation not being completed.

Agree0 Disagree1

The outcome will always end up the same, with green lining his pockets, dont think for one minute he has the rangers supporters at heart, he is only interested in the pound.......we must find another owner at all costs.....

Agree0 Disagree2

Cant buy yet tryed but tickets not on sale

Agree1 Disagree0

It won't matter how many ST's are sold, the wages being paid currently and being offered to prospective players is completely unsubstainable. Our turnover is likely to be no more than £10m.

Agree1 Disagree0

What has celtics sales of season books got to do with anything?R/R

Agree1 Disagree0

Agree with you but nobody can buy until we get SFA membership -SG

Agree1 Disagree0

Im still waiting on an e-mail to let me re-new my season ticket... or have we to phone in or wot

Agree1 Disagree0

Fans need to be careful with buying season tickets too soon, you need to trust the seller first becfore you commit to a year... Surely week to week is fine to start and if things seem to be going in the desired direction then think about a season ticket

Agree0 Disagree2

I'm sure we all will, can't at the moment as we don't have a licence.

Tried several times in the last month to renew mine.

Agree1 Disagree0

We cant buy just now but when we can we will! follow follow

Agree2 Disagree0

Thank you for that post Mr Green.

Agree1 Disagree0

If you want the club to go forward, ''You must NOT buy season tickets'' and if you need the reason why explained to you, then you are very wery deluded to say the least.

Agree0 Disagree1

No sig - but sounds like mr green ?

Please for cash... roll up roll up.

Its good to see that for once the fans have the power.... to decide. Decide well.

Give green 30% of the usualy £18 million season ticket money, and thats his £6 million to buy rangers... ? But with value at £50million on bad day - he in the money....

or hold out and see...

no great choices.. but chooses wisely this time

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure the new bank Metro have the facilities to process the tickets themselves either. Think it has to be outsourced to another banking / collections organisation.

Agree0 Disagree0

My problems are things that have been said recently Mr G had meetings with FIFA/UEFA and arranging game with Greek Club which are more bullshout! Seems to me that the current lot will say anything to divert attention away from the real issues. I will only buy a ticket for each game as and when they arise.

Agree0 Disagree0

NO TRUST NO MONEY

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye ok bomber! -SG

Agree0 Disagree0

Its buy or die lads!

Agree0 Disagree0

If we get a Licence to play Myself and my brother and father intend to pay by the game for the first half of the season to see how things are going to pan out. We love our club and would be happy to pay out if we knew what was happening but there is still too much smoke and mirrors, Names of investors keep getting banded about but nothing official. I think they might be just as worried about Mr Green's intentions for their cash just like many of us fans. I do hope he is the real deal but as time drags on I think he might be Whyte with a mask on.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said to the guy above, he has a common sense approach. Too many people have a short memory and forget just how much we the supporters and creditors have been shafted! Green delivers too many half truths, whyte played a similar game at the beginning. Only full transparency will do, until then don't be daft and treat with CAUTION!

Agree0 Disagree0

I will be buying my season ticket i trust in ally if green was at it he would be first to say give green a chance to build us back up

Agree0 Disagree0

DEAN SHIELS and Steve Jennings are set to join Ally McCoist’s Rangers revolution.
The duo are on the manager’s wishlist as the Light Blues prepare for life in the Third Division.

Believable18 Unbelievable35

Dean Sheils supposedly offered seven grand a week. Can anybody explain to me why in the current situation we can afford to offer that kind of money to any new player, no matter how good they are?

BARNEY BEAR

Agree0 Disagree0

Being on a wishlist is totally different from being set to join the club - no chance what so ever of Dean Shiels dropping down to SFL 3 at this stage of his career.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not a single player in the team will be on 7K a week, at most 3k but really should be looking at keeping the wages low as possible, why not offer say 20-25% increase each year promotion is gained.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope its Evolution.

Agree0 Disagree0

The reason we can offer that money is cos of all the players off the wage bill ie davis mcgregor whittaker aluko lafferty ness and also we are getting money for davis from southampton start knowing facts about rangers before you ask stupid questions

Agree0 Disagree1

Rangers revolution??...good one

Rumour tonight that Kevin Kyle may be given a chance to train with rangers over next few days.

Hope it's true

Believable12 Unbelievable32

Is this really the way forward? Another injury prone has thats never been? What about the younger players?

Agree0 Disagree0

He's on trial at st Johnstone

Agree0 Disagree0

If big Kyle can prove his fitness then would be a great signing, can't see wages being a problem with this one, the big man just wants to get back playing

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope it's true.....awe for f*** sake man.

Agree0 Disagree0

Kevin Kyle ?
Awe man....i'm gonnae take tablets, cannae accept any more of this.

Green "no closer" to s.f.a membership!! Source- bbc website

Believable36 Unbelievable9

I'm getting really worried about this.
On the one hand Rangers are demanding the EBT case be dropped and on the other the SPL are demanding Rangers give up the right to appeal any sanctions arising from EBT's.
Both are wrong!

Agree0 Disagree0

The compromise is surely simple. Green lets them chalk off the titles and in exchange SPL issues no sanctions/punishments for the 'cheating'. There you go why can't it be that simple?

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jul 2012 22:41:45
Chris McLaughlin, BBC tweeting at 22.39

"Following talks between #Rangers, SPL and SFA tonight, it seems the situation remains at deadlock. No further forward with SFA membership"

Mac2.

Believable12 Unbelievable9

Dual contracts investigation is still the sticking point.

Agree0 Disagree0

If cg does,t agree to these sanctions looks like no football at ibrox for at least 4 years,so he better just grin and bear it,or there will be no rangers at all.

Agree0 Disagree0

What did you expect,Doncaster and Lawless were holding hands in London begging Sky sports not to pull the plug on the SPL...and before you know it,they're back in Glasgow, begging the SFA to help steal the SFL/GERS media rights. Sporting integrity my ass! Geo

Agree0 Disagree0

Now why would the SPL even be included in talks about rangers gaining an SFA licence.
As far as I can see this is an SFA decision, the SPL shouldn't figure in this at all.
All Rangers supporters are just desperate to compete next year in D3. The SPL is so far of our radar we couldn't care what they want, think or do.
If as has been discussed, they are trying to muscle SFL clubs out of there windfall from media rights, it's out of order, as far as I see it, SFL are the only organisation here to come out of this situation with some credibility.
SFL have been gracious towards us by saying, yes we will accept your club in our league setup. You will have to start in D3, which we have accepted, we just want to watch our team. And as no one will argue with the fact that our inclusion in SFL will bring the clubs in these leagues benefits, from media attention, large away support who will spread money around the towns they play in and the money spent in the grounds, but it will cost them for policing costs, printing tickets etc, so it's only fair that they get the benefit of us trying to climb the leagues back to the top. And let's face it for the next 3 years SFL will be getting all the exposure and press interest.

BBC text service (tv) states that an insider at the talks has related that both sides are no further forward in their talks about membership.( Total contrast, of what Green is saying) AGAIN?!!! This man tells more FIBS, than an MP or even Whyte.

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolute rubbish! Charles Green has stated licence will be granted by Wednesday luchtime.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lots of theatrics....Green knows he's agreed to everything weeks ago, this is just give the impression that he put a fight up till the last minute. FFS just confirm today so we can start playing football at the weekend and start buying season tickets.

This guy is so negative about Rangers, i wouldn't believe all that he says.

Clarification on Rangers FC Appellate Tribunal
Friday, 20 July 2012

The Scottish FA can tonight clarify the position surrounding the outstanding Appellate Tribunal related to Rangers FC Oldco.

It has been agreed with Sevco Scotland Ltd that the registration embargo will be accepted as a primary condition of a transfer of membership.

It is necessary to complete the judicial process following the determination by Lord Glennie in the Court of Session that required the Independent Appellate Body to revisit available sanctions relating to Oldco, having been found guilty of bringing the game into disrepute.

The Scottish FA indicated to Sevco Scotland Ltd that they had to accept responsibility for any sanctions arising out of this case as a condition of transfer of membership.

Rather than convening the Appellate Tribunal to determine from the sanctions available to it, the company directors of Sevco Scotland Ltd have chosen to accept the 12-month registration embargo. This embargo will begin on 1st September 2012 and end on 31st August 2013.

Sevco Scotland Ltd have also undertaken to accept all other outstanding conditions relating to Oldco’s charges of bringing the game into disrepute. The conditional offer of transfer will now be submitted to the Appellate Tribunal for its consideration. This will form part of the approval process for the transfer of membership which, once approved, will enable Rangers FC to take a considerable step towards participating in Irn Bru Division Three.

In addition to the above, the Scottish FA has also received the necessary financial information requested and this is being considered as part of the application process.

Subject to the completion of all legal documentation, we anticipate transfer of membership next week.

The imposition of conditions relating to transfer of membership was made on the basis that the Scottish FA, as the governing body, has an obligation to protect the integrity of the national game and to ensure that all member clubs operate within the Articles of Association.

So Green has lied to us yet again, he stated close to agreements, FFS can't he just give us the honest truth, I want to go watch my team

Agree0 Disagree0

Rather worringly, we have another exmaple of Mr Green saying one thing ("We are close to agreement") and someone else saying something to the contrary. I feel for all Rangers fans - nothing in this whole process is being communicated clearly without error. Just hope the deal can be closed in time - whihc now must be a constraint.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree that the dual contracts issue should only be dealt with by an outside independant body. Surely it can't possibly be a bargaining issue. When it is properly dealt with I hope that wil be the end of any further sanctions.

Agree0 Disagree0

Green doesn't want it investigated never mind accepting any sanctions that may result. The sticking point is the investigation part! What if it finds we're innocent of wrongdoing? Would rather we know one way or another or this will hang over us for years to come as a shadow.

Agree0 Disagree0

I dont see why newco needs to agree if oldco get found guilty of double contracts then oldco get them removed from records
