It amazes me the people on here stating facts when it's just lies, people saying that mccoist is to get 10% of the sale from jelavic.. Utter cr@p....can people stop making up stupid stories just to pass the time,

To many bulls**t@rs on here,

Believable7 Unbelievable1

I said McCoist will only get 10% of the Jelavic money to spend. We'll see whos Bulls**tting this time next week and whos the deluded fan burying their head in the sand.

Drew

Agree3 Disagree1

You are right mate he is not going to get any of the money. CW is stringing the deal out until the last minute to prevent Ally being able to move for a replacement

Agree6 Disagree0

You could have a point.it would not surprise me if whyte was stringing it out for that reason.it`s time we start asking some serious questions about that is going on at our club.sad times when the best we can do is sign a unproven boy for £250.000 if it even is that much.

Agree1 Disagree1

24 Jan 2012 22:00:48
Big Gary Kenneth is the player mccoist wants. Refuses to go away this one. Think he'd be a great signing.

Rchy

Believable2 Unbelievable16

But why would we sign another CB when we have bartley plus we have big perry he is 10x better than daft kenneth the guy cant run

Agree8 Disagree2

Well if that dznt get the fans against him i dont know what will! green jhedi

Agree6 Disagree1

Hes as slow as a week in jail if we are looking at an arab player nit has to be johnny russell a superb talent

Agree2 Disagree0

Forget russell he's celtic mad n heading to parkhead in the summer n thats deffo!

Agree4 Disagree6

If mccoist sign`s gary kenneth thats the end of him for me as the manager.he is nowhere near good enough to wear a rangers top and we need a striker first before we think about signing anyone else,

Agree3 Disagree0

'Forget russell he's celtic mad n heading to parkhead in the summer n thats deffo!'

Someone's not been reading the script! If you're going to post utter horsesh*t on here you need to round off with 'FACT' not 'deffo'. Tut tut, some people just never learn do they!

Agree0 Disagree0

Russell is a massive celtic fan,,FACT!!!!

McCoist to leave ? ? Just seen this posted on a site "McCoist told that he will get no money from the sale of Jelavic, causing a bust up between him and Whyte, its now saying McCoist will leave after transfer window shuts" anyone heard about this ?? Saw this on rangers fans page there I know it prob s**te but just incase any1 read or heard about this? the page is closed so ah dont reckon it could be a timmy

Believable8 Unbelievable5

S**te, if he were to leave he would do it now in the interests of the club, why wait until window closes to leave?

I do however hope it has an element of truth as I do believe management is a step to far for Ally at this time. He will forever be a legend but just not cut out at this time to manage Rangers. I know I will get a slagging but hey, i'm entitled to my opinion like all the rest on here are.

D

Agree4 Disagree7

What site.mccoist knew there was no cash when he took over from smith nothing will change.

Agree3 Disagree2

This is exactly what will happen, if not backed as promised he will walk, and so he should. The Charlatan is a lying toe rag and is hanging a Rangers legend out to dry.

Agree6 Disagree1

Whyte said they were 10 mill so why would he think he had nothing to spend?

Agree4 Disagree0

Yeh wat side can u comfirm this for us or prob rubish

Agree3 Disagree0

This is exactly what will happen, if not backed as promised he will walk, and so he should. The Charlatan is a lying toe rag and is hanging a Rangers legend out to dry.

Agree5 Disagree0

What difference would it make if he did leave now or at the end of the window cos if a new manager came in he wouldn't have any money to spen! Look at the way Ally has been treated, it's a disgrace!! I love the guy and hope he turns it round and wins the League! Everyone has to get behind him and give him a chance!

Agree8 Disagree1

We are just about to go thru the most testing couple of months in our clubs history and I want a good rangers man like ally to steady the ship and get us through this taxcase fiasco, it's going to be messy if we lose and after everything coisty done as a player and with smith as assistant during all the mess with the bank etc he deserves our support and to be given time, I'm not excited by the football but to be fair ally has had his hands tied by whyte due to the taxcase, the mans a legend and always will be. Time to get behind the team

Agree6 Disagree0

Maybe it wont make a difference if he left now or after the window ur correct, but I do believe he is out his depth, if he is not making the decisions regarding transfers, man up and tell them CW GS and whoever else to butt out! We need someone who will come in and change things up a bit, play players in there correct position, drop players who dont perform regardless of who it is ie Capt. Davis and generally give everyone at club and in Ibrox the life we need!

Agree4 Disagree1

I think we should be asking CRIAG WHYTE why he lied about giving £5 million this season plus extra if needed from the £25 million he promisted.so far we have spent £3.5 million on transfers and got back £2.6 million from bougherra and adam.i think it said it all when "sone aluko" had to pay to get himself to ibrox, sad.even lloyds bank let more be spent.

Agree2 Disagree0

24 Jan 2012 22:21:15
I for one would sell Jelavic, the
sooner the better, what we don't
want to happen is we get a bid at
the last minute, and we can't get
anybody signed in time. Hopefully
CW would then give Ally 2.5 to
spend, I would go out and sign
1. Farid El Allagui - 300,000
2. Sandaza - 300,000
3. Bruins - Free
4. Jaager - Free
5. Claros - Free
Get rid of Broadfoot, Oritz, keep
Mckay he needs to given a chance

Believable8 Unbelievable4

And what Whyte wants IS a bid at the last minute. And just to update you, Bruins and Jaager have alreday walked away from Ibrokes.

Agree2 Disagree7

Very original - repeat of last week's news
any thoughts of your own instead of newspaper stories ?

Agree1 Disagree3

If Jelavic went for £7 million for example.....CW would not give Ally £2.5 million for players. CW wants income. Paying 4.5, selling for 7 and spending 2.5 doesnt really equate to income. Thats just my opinion. I reckon he would allow Ally 500,000 tops.

Agree5 Disagree0

Get rid of this one and that one, one question - to who?
In case you hadn't noticed there is not a queue waiting to buy these people. In fact there is not a queue for our better players. The problem is that they cannot afford anybody until someone leaves

Agree2 Disagree0

McCoist is to get 10% of the money from the sale of Jelavic.

Drew

Agree1 Disagree5

Can I ask why you would go out and sign bruins, jaager and claros? What do you know about them or is it because there on trial your throwing there names in

Paddy

Agree4 Disagree1

Yeh where in bad days what where doin now is getting free transfers of young players to hopefully sell on for a profit in 6 months to a years time.

Agree1 Disagree0

Get rid of this one and that one, one question - to who?

Drew

Agree0 Disagree3

If whyte wants to save cash get rid of the hangers on that follow him like a collie dog also why sort the big screens ai ibrox when it cost over £100,000 to repair when its better players the fans all want on the park and help ally out like a owner should be doing.

Agree4 Disagree0

The screens are a con its tax deductable so in effect costs nothing.

Agree4 Disagree0

Do anybody real think craig whyte is going to let ally spend anything.we would not spend the £300 grand st johnstone wanted for sandaza.that was a player ally want and the striker we needed.if nothing is done we are going to slip more and more behind.

Agree1 Disagree0

Think you'll find you need to pay tax in first place to have it deducted...just a thought

Agree1 Disagree0

Very original - repeat of last week's news
any thoughts of your own instead of newspaper stories ?

In response to this Farid El Allagui 20 app - 12 goals not a bad ratio & Sandaza has scored 14 goals this season, with Aluko & Celik on the left & right supplying them I think this pair could score a lot of goals. Jaager, ok, has left for the moment but I think we are should sign him if we can, as I think we are shouting out for a decent right back. Bruins & Claros well possibly worth a shot, can't be any worse than Oritz.

If we are going to sell Jelavic I would be happy with £7m & Carew and a sell on clause off West Ham and use what little funds we get from it to pay Boyds wages as big Carew and Boyd would be a good partnership in 18yard box with big Carew knocking the ball into Boyds path.
Not the hardest working or mobile duo by any means but if it tides us over until summer when we will know where we stand financially it will do me.

For the record I DON'T want us selling the Jellyfish, I just mean in a hypothetical sense if we Do

Rangers Till I Die

Theglasgowranger

Believable4 Unbelievable4

You should be the manager fs.

Agree3 Disagree3

We could not afford carews wages

Agree6 Disagree1

If only

Agree1 Disagree3

We could afford Carews wages, Jelavics £20k wages would be given to Carew and if McCoist gave Boyd £20k for 6 months that would only equate to £500k off the original Fee for Jelavic, just read Wednesdays Sun and Jelavic has apparently declared his interest in signing for West ham

The Aberdeen player Arnason, who scored against us on saturday should be worth bringing in. We should have got rid of 3 or 4 players from last season and Super Ally not excatly making us feel good about some of the players he brought in. Need Whyte to make sure we only bring in tried and tested players instead of more benchwarmers...

Believable5 Unbelievable7

The wee lad thats on loan to Motherwell Henrik Ojamaa the winger, I have had my eye on him a while hope rangers would see him able they will now mark my words he'll do well for Motherwell good signing Stuward McCall
Brian

Believable4 Unbelievable5

I would rather we go for the boy Zaha at C Palace don't think he would cost a lot

Agree2 Disagree5

Watching bbc 2 eh! paxmans on next wanna sign him? green jhedi

Agree2 Disagree2

Dont think he would cost alot? hes wanted by united & spurs!

Agree2 Disagree1

Zaha is being scouted by prem teams. Looking at 10 million. Yous couldn't even secure SPL players.....stop playing fantasy football and realise you are a spent force in Scotland now, for the forseeable.

Agree0 Disagree4

Zaha wudnt cost a lot, wot a muppet! {Ed003's Note - We've just been chatting about him in footy-rumours towers and only one ed seems to rate him}

Huddersfield in for the dutch boy that's on trail, expect him to sign for the English club in the next 48 hours, what's going on?

Believable6 Unbelievable6

Hats going on is that another transfer window is closing and we are becoming an even bigger joke. Last window stupid bids getting made, this one trials to people when we can't even afford them, wasting their time and insulting the fans who have and do spend money. Blue4ever

Agree4 Disagree0

Dont think so mate the lad has indicated his desire to sign,on advice from Mr Mols, the Rangers legend, thats good enough for me.

Agree2 Disagree5

No European football next year...no money...no hope!...also if rangers do go into administration and die and come back as a new company in div 3, who the f**k wants to sign up for that?

Agree6 Disagree3

Seriously? Could the club just please tell us what state we are in. Good or bad i'm sure we want to know!

Agree4 Disagree1

Calm down people . All will be revield.

Agree1 Disagree4

Why would a Venture Capatalist tell you what he's upto. The very nature of such takeovers are based on smoke and mirrors.

Agree3 Disagree0

Nah.he is listening to huddersfield its on twitter

Agree1 Disagree2

Why would he sign for huddersfield when in the middle of a trial ?

Agree2 Disagree1

On twitter he is speaking to huddersfield apperently.

Agree4 Disagree0

Key word there-trial- they could offer more money n might not have him waiting about while they sell somebody! green jhedi

Agree1 Disagree1

Dont the fans realise we are pennieless we have as much bank capital as a scottish 3rd division club rangers fc is gone.

Agree5 Disagree1

The players will go to any club who offers them a contract first.there not making any money so u can't expect them to wait on rangers getting their act together while being offered money at another club.it's common knowledge were not spending so why would they wait on rangers.it's embarrassing.

i think with the boy celik being brought in .and he looks as if he could create things and get goals .we should just keep jelavic until at least after the euro,s ....bigt

Believable10 Unbelievable5

He will have to make an impact straight away as we need to get back to swimming ways. True blue

Agree4 Disagree1

What do you not understand - Rangers need to sell Jellyfish to get cash into the club NOW.

Agree7 Disagree5

Yes because we are being run by a con artist and a liar and it's about time the fans showed there disgust by protesting against him. Support the players but not him, threats of not renewing season tickets etc should get his attention. But so far he has one nothing but lie!

Agree7 Disagree5

'What do you not understand - Rangers need to sell Jellyfish to get cash into the club NOW.' I read you on this site every day and it is getting tiring. What do you not understand? We all read your post and think 'Celtic fan with nothing better to do than comment on Champion's thread'. Also, school tomorrow so better get some sleep save been an annoying we a*** to the teachers.

west ham r willing to throw in piquonne plus cash for jelavic see what happens.

Believable4 Unbelievable9

Apparently the guy Gold tweeted that W Ham put in a 7,2 million bid.

Agree1 Disagree5

Dnt get me wrong i hope not he is gash wud rather carew but yet again he 32 prob get a couple years outa him

Agree0 Disagree4

Id take piquonne!

Agree5 Disagree0

I'd take Piquonne also, definitely ahead of Carew. To be honest, we can't afford either of their wages anyway, Carew probably on around 50k and Piquonne maybe 40k. Way out of our budget even if they take 50% pay cuts.

We could do a lot worse than take a gamble on young Aaron Burns from Linfield, i know it's the NIrish league , but take a look at his hat trick and his pace at the weekend....even one for the future with full time training at Gers...., looks far better than the likes of Bedoya, Ortiz, Kerkar, Wylde for instance.

Believable5 Unbelievable7

Young Burns looks a great attacking midfielder.....have a look at his goals on BBC N.I. Sport

Agree2 Disagree5

Better be quick a lot of clubs are looking at him, a very talented boy, but lets be honest here Ally won't look at him, he'll go to Swansea or Leeds or something and become a star, shame.

Agree4 Disagree3

Hello Burns family!

Agree3 Disagree2

Do some of you just click disagree for the sake of it, you're quite entitled to disagree, but it's odd when there are no negative comments, say what you think....

Agree1 Disagree9

Rangers couldn't afford him, Linfield probably pay him £300 a week as a part time player, well out of our league now, Whyte would offer him half that.

Believable11 Unbelievable1

Even trialists are snubbing yous now, lol bad days ahead!

Its on Rangers web site he went to Sunderland to train with them

Agree5 Disagree0

I'm not surprised the guy has played 33 timed for his country its a joke to ask him on trial

Ed, this is a posting on the Celtic Rumours Page:

"Ed do you think we should offer sandazza a pre contract for the summer? {Ed007's Note - No, we can't offer him a pre contract. As I said when Rangers supposedly had, in the UK you can only sign a pre-contract with a club in the same FA as your current team one month before your contract expires. The six month rule only applies when your are moving to a team in a different FA/country from your current club. The player and his suitor club also do not have to disclose to the player's current club that they are in negotiations. If Sandaza had signed a pre-contract with Rangers earlier this month it would have been void and the player could have signed for anyone in the summer.}"

-------------------------------------------------
This is absolutely ridiculous. Are Rangers blatantly lying to the supporters. {Ed014's Note - Ed007 is spot on about the ruling.

Believable10 Unbelievable1

We can still offer him a pre-contract, but it can only be officially accepted one month before the end of the current contract. For all we know, he's unofficially said yes. Hope not though. Muzz

Agree1 Disagree6

Rangers never said they made him an offer, steve lomas did, ally said that he had a chat about sandaza, nothing more, nothing less, but i'm guessing sandaza has burnt his bridges with the gers now...

Agree5 Disagree1

The signing policies have been shambolic with more spin than politicians please ally do not mention ay signings till they have put pen to paper we are becoming the laughing stock for the media to feed off

Agree6 Disagree0

Muzz - what is the point then, but more importantly, what is the point of Rangers going public on it.

Agree5 Disagree2

Rangers may well not have made a formal offer for Sandaza, but Ally did confirm that he had contacted Lomas and informed him of Ranger's interest in signing the player on a pre-contract.

Still totally embarassing.

Agree4 Disagree0

Ed014 I think you will find that you ed007 are totally wrong about the ruling.
Caldwell, zaluska and pienaar just to name a few from over the years have all signed pre contracts in January. {Ed001's Note - all moved from one federation to another. They can sign those 6 months in advance, as has already been pointed out.}

Agree2 Disagree4

Wrong Ed014 they moved from the same federation. {Ed001's Note - Pienaar moved to Everton from Germany and then Spurs paid 3m for him, so never agreed a pre-contract if that is what you are trying to claim.}

Agree0 Disagree1

Caldwell from hibs

Think if possible we should try and see if McFadden and steven Dobbie are available for loan. Both creative attacking midfielders who are capable of scoring goals. We are in desperate need of someone who can link up the midfield and the strikers as the current players just do not seem capable. Our inability to actually make a cohesive attacking move involving forward passes is now becoming embarrassing!

Believable5 Unbelievable9

The passing isnt just quite as embarassing as your post...Dobbie rank and faddy finished...

Agree8 Disagree3

Not a bad idea mate. Could dae a turn. Good tae c rangers fans like yourself taking the time tae think of ideas about ur club unlike all these negative t**ts.

Agree9 Disagree4

The fee's required just to loan players is as much as couldn't be found to sign sendaza, even paying 1/3 of mcfaddens wages equates to 10K, which is far to Rich, really need to open eyes with some of these suggestions, you will not pick up players on loan for nowt & expect there own clubs to pay wages.........rangers counldnt stump up the insurance fees for a 30k a week loan never mind pay some o their wages, harsh reality.

Agree4 Disagree1

Has McFadden not just signed for everton. Doubt they would want to loan him out

Agree3 Disagree2

I steven dobbie good idea

Agree0 Disagree7

I know this sounds desperate but I watch a lot of english highlights every sunday and the striker at wycombe looks a rare player. Would like to see wee Temp at ibrox, we need pace

Agree2 Disagree2

Stuart breavan is wycombe player

Agree1 Disagree1

Funny everyone saying Dobbie is rank.....basically the guy that ran Blackpool and Swansea in their promotion winning seasons, not saying he is prem class as I'm sure some of you will come back with but let's face it someone good enough to be considered a quality player in the championship would undoubtedly improve us at the moment.....p.s faddy has been linked to loan moves just this week!

Agree4 Disagree1

You think we can even afford the wages we cant even afford to pay jaager a few grand a week face it we are turning into a joke

Rangers target South African defender Siboniso Gaxa.
The right-back, currently contracted to Belgian club Lierse, is said to be in Ally McCoist’s sights if a deal for Estonian international Enar Jaagar fails to materialise.

A move for Jaager is said to depend on finance, with McCoist reportedly told to shift players off his wage bill before bringing anyone else in.

Gaxa’s agent, Rob Moore, says his client is next in line if a deal doesn’t come off for the Rangers trialist.

“Gaxa is seriously in the frame for that move,” Moore told Soccer Laduma. “If they don’t sign Jaager, then he is their next target.”

Gaxa has 48 caps for South Africa and featured for his country in all three of his nation’s matches at the 2010 World Cup.

His contract with Lierse runs until 2013, suggesting a fee would be payable to the Jupiler League side to take him to the Scottish Premier League.

The 27-year-old moved to Belgium from Mamelodi Sundowns shortly after the tournament, having also played for Supersport United in his homeland.

theres a chance darlington could go out of business in the next few weeks, could that be a ticket into england if we could buy this club and rename it? or is that not possible? just a suggestion...

Believable4 Unbelievable7

If they go out of business, how can you buy them?

Agree4 Disagree2

Buy darlington :-) cant buy a player, only chasing freedom of contract and guys without clubs.
Get a grip with reality

Agree5 Disagree3

You havent enough money to buy a golf club mate, never mind another football club.would the F.A. see the selling of one of their clubs to a badly run club, being investigated for multi million pound tax evasion, and owned by a dodgy ,ahem, businessman,as a shrewd move.no chance.artybhoy

Agree6 Disagree3

Hopfully not !! We are a SCOTTISH team !

Agree6 Disagree5

And we still will be a Scottish team. But 30mil a year basic before sponsorships, tv deals etc... If we were in EPL Would be fkn great. Compared to the1.2mil or somethin for winning the spl, and with a low chance of euro football to to profit from. Would these figures be correct ED? Or am I mistaken? {Ed014's Note - The last figures were about £32m.

Agree4 Disagree0

Darlington are looking like they will be ok till end of season,by which time they may be looking at taking over Ibrox and all the duds there.xxx HAIL HAIL

Agree1 Disagree6

ED.. 32mil, is that for being in the EPL? And if so how much does a team actually get for winning the spl? And what do the runners up get? Including any money from euro qualifier games (if that does pay out)

Craig Beattie's contract has been paid up by Swansea in the EPL.....he has indicated that he is willing to play with Gers for 'expenses' until the end of the season (he's been paid anyway)....i think he would do us a right good turn, at least until then, and he'd also be desperate to do well, even just to get another contract 'with anybody'.....no transfer fee....hardly any wages, no risk, and he's fully fit, big strong quick and can score, in fact, he's a perfect gap filler for big Laff until he comes back (similar style) would it not be better than the nobodys that we are looking at, and McKay,Ortiz and Bedoya,,who can hardly make the squad.
On Saturday for instance, Jella and Heally up front....we needed a goal....absolutely! not another forward available to bring on....the likes of big Beattie woulda been perfect to toss up front for Heally....needs must at the moment.

Believable10 Unbelievable13

Av always said he's sh*t but fk it, suppose it's worth a try

Agree5 Disagree5

Where and how did he indicate this?

Agree1 Disagree4

Beattie was torture for celtic....worst first touch i've ever seen on a footballer. and one thing a decent striker needs is a good first touch

i haven't seen much of him since he left, but i was ecstatic when he did go. a headless chicken imo

Agree7 Disagree4

He's gone to MK Dons or Millwall

Agree3 Disagree1

He has done it through an ex Rangers player, also has a chance to go to Well, but even if you do think he is s****, he might just be better s**** than we have at the moment...we could use him, no question......i'm with the guy who posted f*** it

Agree3 Disagree2

At least Beattie is still in the premiership, unlike most of our targets.

Wouldnt need to keep Laff out....in case you never heard...Laff is not back until mid March at the earliest....would be a decent fill in for him.

Agree1 Disagree2

How's Laff a donkey, two of the last three seasons have been won on the last day, scored important goals in the split.

Zlatan Muslimovic has cut short his trial spell with Rangers, training instead on Tuesday with English Premier League side Sunderland.

The Bosnian striker arrived at Murray Park on Monday and was expected to spend the week with Ally McCoist’s squad.

Muslimovic, who is without a club following his summer departure from PAOK Salonika, remains open to an offer from the SPL side. But his agent, Jan Bezemer, has confirmed his client will spend the remainder of the week in England.
Zlatan Muslimovic cuts short Rangers trial

“Zlatan trained at Rangers yesterday,” he confirmed. “Everything was nice and we were interested.

“But now another offer has come in to train at another club. Zlatan trained at Sunderland today and we will now see how that works out.

“Zlatan had a very good feeling about Rangers. They are a very nice club, the trainer was a good man and he spoke very well.

“Rangers want him but we have lots of interest in the player. He would like to play in a good league. The leagues in Scotland and England fall into that category.”

The striker, who has 33 international caps, was one of a number of trialists under consideration by McCoist. Dutch midfielder Luigi Bruins also arrived on Monday, joining Honduran midfielder Jorge Claros and Estonian right back Enar Jaager.

Muslimovic, who has Swedish citizenship, played youth football in Sweden before being picked up by Udinese. The forward spent seven years under contract with the Serie A club but failed to win a first team place.

Udinese sent the player out to seven clubs and after short-term spells at Perugia, Pistoiese, Ascoli, Padova, Rimini, Messini and Parma, he left the club permanently to join Atalanta.

A single season in Bergamo failed to bring success and Muslimovic moved to PAOK in 2008.

who cares he looks a dud any way , follow follow

Believable8 Unbelievable2

His agent said hes is trying out other options and we still might get him ha he can go get stuffed gave us 24 hours hope he fails to get a contract with sunderland and wants to cum bk 2 us only to get booted out the door his records gash anyway

Muslimovic has not left for Sunderland stop talking nonsense!! He's been playing today in bounce game against Carlisle along with the other trialists!!

Believable5 Unbelievable13

Says on stv he's at Sunderland

Agree6 Disagree1

Martin O'Neill has overseen a dramatic turnaround at Sunderland, As a result, the club also look set to rival Rangers for the signature of Bosnian international Zlatan Muslimovic.

The 30-year-old forward had looked likely to join Ally McCoist's squad after training with the Scottish giants but is now thought to be heading south for a trial with the Black Cats.

Agree7 Disagree1

I think you will find he has done just that! His agent has released a statement saying he will train with Sunderland for the rest of the week!

Agree6 Disagree1

How can he be playing today when he is training with sunderland. It is you that is talking nonsense!.Get your facts right.

Agree6 Disagree1

He as gone to Sunderland ...but 17 goal's in 70 game's ...not like we have mist out on a good player

Agree5 Disagree1

He refused to play in todays game.

I'd be happy with a cash plus Mackie deal with QPR. Or if we sell to West Ham take the 7.2m but at least try and get one of their players as well

Believable2 Unbelievable7

This is a honest question and not some sort of wind up when a player comes on trial to any team who pays all the bills ie flights hotels wages whilst the player and agents are there

Agree3 Disagree2

Down to negotiation I believe.

Agree1 Disagree2

Were not gonna get anybody from the premiership unless it's on loan & their club pay a big chunk of there wages.Plus no good player is gonna leave the premiership for the spl,sad but true. The likes of Chris Eagles etc etc are even rejecting the spl now days...

Agree3 Disagree3

Jelivic isnt good enough for the pl hes not got enough pace plus 7.2 dont think so not in january ally is only geting 2 million of the money anyway am a season ticket holder in the members lounge comes from good source

Muslimovic has left rangers after on day and is away down to Sunderland wtf Ally ur time is up am affraid as manager but ur still legend , I don't blame ally in all this but CW has left him down big time, if u dont want him as manager CW then change it, but dont try and ruin a club great it wont happen

Believable14 Unbelievable7

The club is a shambles.

Agree13 Disagree5

No decent will sign while we have threat of administration, we are no longer a big club

Agree12 Disagree4

The airpot bear ... thats a bit harsh dont you read the papers or understand we're totally skint !! stop blaming coisty then say he's a legend then say his time is up then you blame CW ... man up m8

Agree5 Disagree6

His loss then he'll no win many trophies there n totally agree ally will always b a legend but think he's either no cut out to b a manager or whytes no helpin him much with bein a manager a gr8 guy going to waste

Agree4 Disagree5

Stop posting crap on sunderland site and learn to spell.

Agree3 Disagree3

This guy has only scored 48 goals inhospitable career so hardly a loss ha ha Boyd scored more in 2seasons!!

Agree5 Disagree1

Are you saying its Allys fault that this guy would prefer Sunderland and the EPL cash to the SPL. If you were offered three or four times the money for doing the same job what would you do?

Oh aye this guy must be mince like everybody who never saw him play said especially if he can get his way into the EPL

JG

Agree4 Disagree2

Listen to yourselves. McCoist took over the champions and since then he has brought in the Australian player of the year, a Spanish winger who had been tracked for 2 years, and 3 defenders not to mention all of the young players being produced by Murray Park. Rangers made a loss last year, this year no europaen football so more money lost and the wages have gone up with the addition of all these new players plus the new contracts offered to McGregor, Davis etc. On the other side of the city Celtic have brought in 2 players for nothing and secured a 3rd on a pre contract that couple dwith last years freebies, Matthews, Wislon and the bargain of hte season Wanyama. The issue is McCoist;s scouting netwrok is very poor and Lennon's isnt. CW is a businessman who bailed Rangers out. He has given McCoist money but he has wasted it and now CW has said you must get rid of some dross before bringing in any more. CW is a businessman and he is not going to keep throwing money at McCoist in the hope he will get it right or maybe he is keeping the money for the new manager in the Summer.

Agree8 Disagree2

Muslimovic has left rangers after on day and is away down to Sunderland wtf Ally ur time is up

so ally's time is up cos some guy he had on trial for one day has decided to go on trial with a premiership team instead lol

Agree4 Disagree2

Was ortiz not the 3rd winger mcoist tried to sign in the summer surely if we had been after him for years he would have been our top target. As for wanyama i heard all this guff about kayal ki and commons last year. Mcoist needs time and support just like the beggers have shown lennon. We are a striker away from winning the league. And if you take hoopers offside goal against hibs and the goal that we scored against celtic the 4 point lead would be gone.

Agree4 Disagree4

Said it once il say it again mccoist has to go!!!!!!!!!!!!i never wanted him in the first place i knew he wasnt right for the job the signs where there when smith was in charge ally is just a joke in a cheap suit we need a new manager and start playing the young lads.least they play for the jersey and r hungry to do well.

Agree1 Disagree4

Alex ferguson couldnt do anything without money why do you people always blame the manager take of ur blue glasses and take notice rangers have no money until we save our club want do u want lose the league or lose all our history

Agree1 Disagree1

Take a look at your comments! 'If you take Hoopers offside goal and Rangers' goal' ffs, are we no a lauging stock as it is. WE reallt are in a bad way! Time yo wake up guys!

Agree1 Disagree0

The facts are we could potentialy be owing alot of money to the taxman.

If you were the chairman would you be throwing money at ally to get new players when in just a few weeks you could get hit with a 15 - 20 or even 30 mill bill. Better to have a club to support i think!

Going in to administration would mean points deduction for the start of season fr next few years!

f*** that! I think ally has done really well first year as manager hes brought in a few good players and they just need time to gel as a team!

I support my team through thick and thin! And fully support the work Ally mccoist a rangers fan and legend is doing!

Believable11 Unbelievable3

What a feckin joke this is

Agree9 Disagree2

A Joke? the guy hasnt had a club since last May so u actually think hes a good player?? hes scored 48 goals in his club career which is shocking.

The joke is that ally is getting this type of player in, and can't even keep hold of him for more than a day!

Have you heard anything on this Ed? {Ed014's Note - No.

Muslimovic and Bruins having trial with Rangers and Jaager awaiting an offer. Why bring these players over and then delay in tying them up with an offer? Bruins sounds like he would be a good signing. No so sure about Muslimovic, but Jaager could fill a problem position at right back. I agree with others who have posted here about Matt McKay. Why did Rangers sign him and then dump him in the reserves?

Believable9 Unbelievable2

Here we go again with the Matt Mckay rubbish. Rangers squad is threadbare. If this guy was half decent do u really think McCoist wud be leaving him out? No he wudn't. Managers dont leave out good players when their neck is potentially on the line. Why the big fascination with this guy? Dont c all the calls for Bedoya and Ortiz to be in the team. THEY ARE ALL NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

Agree9 Disagree6

Ii repeat the question - WHY did McCoist sign McKay ? and Bedoya AND Ortiz for that matter ? Seems to me he hasn't a clue about who is and who isn't any good !!

Agree8 Disagree2

Bedoya isn't half bad from what i understand. Now i know completely that this is a game, however, after half a season in football manager, Blackburn rovers bought him for 4.5 million. I laughed, but theres no smoke without fire. (Only reason why i remember it was because it seemed stupid). He might well become a good player, given the chance - Mackay might be the same. Muzz

Agree2 Disagree4

Does this prove mccoist never had a say in the signing? or he dznt know a good player?

Agree4 Disagree0

Ally out to chuck NOW it just to preserve some dignity, as it is going downhill every day this signing / not signing merry go round goes on.

QPR have missed out on some brazilian forward due to his work permit. Maybe now Jelavic will become a priority target for them now.

CJM

Believable6 Unbelievable5

Jelavic is a priority. A bid of 7.2 million has been accepted but it's up to Jelly to agree personal terms.

Agree3 Disagree8

No bid for jelavic from QPR has been accepted!

Agree6 Disagree2

West Ham bid accepted (apologies, should have been clearer)

Agree2 Disagree6

I'll believe it once I see it.

Agree7 Disagree1

Apparently CSKA are monitoring the Jelavic situation.

Agree0 Disagree3

Also Ally has said if he dosn't find a new striker for jelavic with all these offers being made and accepted he's gonna get his shorts on and start playing. Get a grip nothing has been said no one knows. If it happens it happens just wait to see

Agree1 Disagree1

Who has confirmed west hamhave had a bid accepted?? Twitter?? Think if it was accepted it would be all over news don't you

Agree4 Disagree1

24 Jan 2012 12:06:58
West Ham and QPR are no longer interested in Jelevic, they think he is overpriced and wont pay more than 6 mill
Also there is a sell on clause and Rangers have not paid the full 4.5 mill for him, it was in the media a few months ago, they have something like 1 mill left to pay, as for sell on clause i have no idea of the %, also Whyte wants the full transfer fee up front, when clubs are offering part payment and installments, Whyte has a cheek as thats how he wants to buy players, on the never never

Believable6 Unbelievable12

Dont know a lot do you,why bother posting,trueblue..

Agree6 Disagree1

Lies, lies and more lies.I don't care if it's a rumour site a lie is still a lie.
GCUK

Agree5 Disagree6

Absolute nonsense terms have been agreed with set Ham and I believe Leiciester are now back in the frame for Jelavic. If QPR come calling with a solid bid and terms that double his wages he WILL go.

Agree3 Disagree4

If there is a 10% sell on and old Jellylegs himself will also be due 10% of the fee as well . Maybe thats whats holding things up or that nobody values him at what you want . Just a thought .
CelticMatt

Agree3 Disagree4

Rapid are not due anything as far as im aware ..bigt

Agree7 Disagree5

West ham have denied making a bid for jelly. same as liverpool and leicester....anyone see a pattern here?

Agree6 Disagree1

What you're saying is immediately discredited by the figures you've given. 4.5M? It seems as though you're trying to make us believe that the club would be making less money on a transfer than they actually are. In addition, the transfer WAS done in installments, however, the last of these was paid last year. Muzz

There is a guy who gets called William in brazil league plays for avai he has scored 13 or so goals in the league considering they r bottom he is one of the top scoters in a great league , that's the kind of guy we Should be looking at , he wouldnt cost much but work permits could be an issue , ( probably a pipe dream lol )

Luigi Bruins looks great on Youtube vidoe.

This lad is better than what we have
no with bedoya etc, I would get shot
of one of the duds and replace with this
guy. He has a good pedigree

J

Believable4 Unbelievable4

How many times to people hav to be told. You can make anyone look good on you tube. You could make broadfoot look like a superstar

Agree4 Disagree2

I still think bedoya will come good lot of better players than him have took time to settle

Agree3 Disagree2

The lad Bruins, Cellik and Aluko all look to be decent attacking midfielders that would siut the 4 5 1 /4 3 3 that a lot of EPL teams play, or even up front in a 4 4 1 1 / 4 4 2 so hopefully they will give us more of a cutting edge up front and in midfield.

Agree4 Disagree3

24 Jan 2012 10:47:17
Anyone know Ness injury situation.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

He must be seriously injured otherwise he'd be in ahead of Davis. I'd pick him with one broken leg ahead of Davis on the current form. He needs freed of the captaincy.( Lee mcculloch and Mcgregor the only captains in the squad).

Agree8 Disagree9

Dont even think ness knows himself whats going on

Agree6 Disagree0

I hope he has went to see a chiropractor because when i was younger i had one leg longer than the other and it caused me no end of pain. Even walking was a struggle. GP'S just give u pain killers so i tried a chiropractor and hardly get any pain these days.

Im sure the medical team are trying everything.

CJM

Agree0 Disagree2

Wer is mcculloch why not play him up front he has got a good shot on him an ust two play there

Agree4 Disagree6

McCulloch is one of the worst players we have, he's past it and shouldn't be still playing for us!

Agree8 Disagree2

Started of a forward with Motherwell.

Agree2 Disagree2

I'd have big lee ahead of a lot of the junk on our bench, he's better than edu also, would be better way emu.

Agree2 Disagree6

Dont talk utter mince mcculloch aint just the worst player rangers have he is the worst player in the league, all he does is get the ball lose it then put someone up in the air. also those of you who think he is better than edu well thats your opinion i suppose, what i will say is that edu is an athlete mcculloch is not, edu can pass the ball forward mcculloch cannot not that i am saying edu can pass a ball well but probably still to greater effect than mcculloch. the man is past it simple the 1st game back after injury i believe, he was sent off and that was an important game we go 1 nil up he gets sent off cause he is a hatchet man and we lose the game. the man is useless and he wont leave quick enough for me.

Agree5 Disagree2

Bocanegra could be capt. davis has carried the team was ages now, i think the captaincy isnt helping him tbh.

Agree5 Disagree3

Edu passes the ball forward, is this the same guy we are talking about?

Davis apparently has been made available due to poor form and reluctance to take a pay cut. QPR monitoring the situation along with Jelavic. I used to think of QPR as the wee Rangers how the tides have turned. Watch for it breaking before you say this is rubbish..........

Believable9 Unbelievable8

Just been given the captaincy and signed a long term deal in the summer.

Agree2 Disagree5

Jus like to see if gers fans agree think davis is the most over rated player we have had at ibrox for years turns up 1 in every 20 matches

Agree14 Disagree9

Was actually just saying this the other day. If we had any other decent midfielders I would take any offer we get for Davis. Really poor season and never a captain in a million years. Once Naismith is fit he should be permanent captain.

Agree10 Disagree6

IT'S RUBBISH!

GDog
WATP

Agree5 Disagree4

I agree that davis has been under performing this season. But to say he is the most over rated player in the gers history is crazy. For the last 3 years running he has been our best player. Hence the players player of the year awards etc. he needs a bit of quality in the middle of the park with him IMO then you will see davis back to his best.

Agree6 Disagree5

Davis is quality but i would agree that his form has been terrible recently. He had the same issue running up to the CIS cup final last year and then on the day he was outstanding! and kept that form for the rest of the season.

We need a lift from someone.

CJM

Agree3 Disagree3

Davis has struggled with his form this season fair enough but look at the dross along side him, our midfield is a joke, McCulloch never was good enough for Rangers, Edu has reached the pinnacle of his abilities and should go NOW, other than them its defenders or any who wants to leave Rangers in CM. McCoist doesn't seem to understand what midfield is about, if he wants creativity why does he play Bartley, Papac and Wallace THEY'RE DEFENDERS ALLY !!!!

Agree3 Disagree1

24 Jan 2012 09:46:08
Rangers will offer Estonian defender Enar Jaager a contract within a day to keep him from going to Leeds, while Kirk Broadfoot may move to Bristol City. Matt McKay could move to China or Korea and Juanma Ortiz may return to Spain or sign for Lech Poznan in Poland.

Believable6 Unbelievable5

Wil b glad to see the bk of broadfoot he's useless .ortiz never really dun much n looked poor in the games he's taken part in so far but mckay i think he could do gd if given the chancen his name always appears on the scoresheet in bounce games or for helpin set goals up .. i'd rather we kept mckay n got him in the team as a regular then we'll see what he's really like

Agree6 Disagree2

Finally that donkeys kirk broadfoot and Ortiz are leaving , but i wish Ally would start playing Matty Mckay on the left instead of Wallace ffs...

Agree8 Disagree3

Broadfoot is not a great footballer, but he always gives 100%, I would rather see him at RB than Whittaker who has been a liability since being given a new contract. Ortiz...... is he really a professional footballer !?!? I can't really comment on McKays abilities since I've hardly seen him play, but why are we signing promising 28 year olds ? by that age you,ve either made it or not. Wallace seems to be the pick of Allys summer signings, Goian and Bocanegra are alright the rest who can't even make the bench most weeks are a total waste of money that we can ill afford. We had Bedoya coming on a free at the end of the season, we could of assessed him before spending any money but we actually wanted to pay for him !! I fear our club is in the wrong hands again, whether it's Whyte, G Smith, McCoist etc individually or collectively is hard to say, but it needs sorting out, we are looking down the barrel here fellow Bears
