I know the Scotland v Costa Rica game was only a friendly, but i was quite impressed with Oli McBurnie in the lone striker role tonight! Davie Provan actually said during commentary, that he thought McBurnie was the pick of the Scotland new boys tonight! Both kris boyd and Barry Ferguson said at half time that they also liked the look of McBurnie!

He'd be a good signing for us and as we all know he is an avid Rangers fan! He has good movement and work rate and also strong with a turn of pace! He had one chance and sight of goal tonight and hit the target with the keeper saving his shot! He's on loan at Barnsley from Swansea and has been scoring for Barnsley! Could be a good signing for us this summer!

23 Mar 2018 21:53:10
Ive always liked him played and scored loads for Swansea under 23s as well, tidy player will be well sought after, him and Cummings sharing a room on Scotland duty has a few funny vids as well.

23 Mar 2018 21:58:08
Far better option than moult, McBurnie and commons would be a cracking partnership

23 Mar 2018 23:15:54
Are you watching the Scotland game.

24 Mar 2018 08:01:13
Why wouldn't we be watching the Scotland game? It's our country after all, unbeliever

24 Mar 2018 09:15:48
Yes it is our country but the Scottish football team is just a puppet off one of the most corrupt and anti rangers institutions this country has ever seen and the fans are also so anti Rangers it is unbelievable.
I didn’t watch it Supercooper but can you tell me did any Rangers player play?
if they did how did they play?
Also what kind of reception did they get from the supposedly best fans in the world The Tartan Army
I went to Wembley with the Tartan Army in 2016 and they way they acted in Trafalguar Square was nothing short of embarrassing
Do you not remember how they treated our players in the past , Black, Wallace, Jack for example.
I for one now couldn’t care less how they get on.
However each to their own, everybody has the right to have their own opinion and watch or don’t watch whoever they want.
For me it’s only all about the Rangers

24 Mar 2018 09:49:35
Sorry Jumshu, but I could never turn my back on my country like that. Ave said it before. I wouldn't care if any rangers players were in the team. Whoever puts on a scotland top i will support. Its my country. Just want to check though. If the team was full of rangers players and everyone was cheering them on you would be happy to support them? I know what I would say to you. don't bother coming back to watch us. I don't see how a football fan of any club wouldn't support there national team. Maybe that's just me am maybe to but seems really really strange.

24 Mar 2018 10:03:35
The first thing McBurnie can do if he wants to play for the Gers is pull his socks up and at least look like a player!?

24 Mar 2018 10:11:00

24 Mar 2018 13:28:49
Rangers tv mate download uktvnow

24 Mar 2018 15:45:18
Jimshu , ime like you mate in regards the scotland team, i don't care if they win or lose or even play for that matter, and I've only had that attitude since i seen how the s. f. a helped us (not) in our times of trouble, imagine the same sinario happening ar real madrid, do you think the spanish f. a. would have treated any of there clubs so harshly, esspecially with us being the most succesful team in our land/ country.

24 Mar 2018 19:41:18
I just plane don't have any interest whatsoever in international football. No conspiracy theories, no political ideologies, I just find it boring compared to club football.

25 Mar 2018 15:14:04
Well i for one am not a massive fan of McBurnie. We need to see past this "Rangers Man" recruitment policy we seem to have had happen in Jan. If you have 90mins of professional football and your a "Rangers Man" then we will have you in attitude doesn't work. We all got carried away (me included) with our run of good form against nobodies. Cup game wins and bottom 6 teams put to the sword. Scoring for fun. An then what happened. Done by the Mhankies with 10 and done by Killie at home. We may struggle once the split comes. We won't beat Hibs, midfield to strong, Celtic the same. Killie again will be difficult. Sheep will roll over and bottle it and Hearts will do the same. We need better standard of player than McBurnie.

25 Mar 2018 17:08:37
Although I would love for more of our fans to be able to sample the OF atmosphere I feel that watering down their allocation would ultimately detract from that. Think it would be fairer if away allocation was given on a % of seats available basis, seeing as they have 10000 more seats at porkheid.

26 Mar 2018 16:33:47
Yateley1,i don't care a jot if young oli mcburnie wears his socks around his neck, as long as he done the business and i believe he would do the business for us, up here if we could sign him! I remember a certain mo johnston wearing his socks EXACTLY the same way as mcburnie does and it certainly DIDN'T stop mojo from being a superb striker!

23 Mar 2018 18:13:05
Niko gone, contract terminated by mutual consent.

23 Mar 2018 18:56:35
Said in February he would go before April. Heading back to the USA

23 Mar 2018 02:01:12
I’ve had a couple of weeks to digest the recent Old Firm match and there has been much said and debated about tactics, substitutions and G Murty’s suitability to be Rangers Manager on a full time basis. however, this post isn't about any of that.

It’s about something that I feel particularly passionate about and I know that fellow bears around me in SJR feel the same. the NEED to reduce Celtic’s ticket allocation for Ibrox.

Put them in the corner the same as other away supporters. They gain an advantage with 7500 of them as a solid bank of fans. Yes they will reduce our allocation, but personally I couldn’t care less.

On too many occasions, we have had to endure then singing their Republican songs and taunting us as we leave the stadium at the end of th. match

I say enough cut their allocation from next season

23 Mar 2018 06:34:16
I 100% agree with you here at Ibrox our keepers are subjected to 45 mins of pure abuse and hatred and no one can tell me that this does not distract them, we are not given the same advantage at their midden, this was brought up at the AGM and glossed over but if we keep it at the front perhaps we will be listened to eventually.

23 Mar 2018 07:00:15
Lads I get where your coming from I would happily reduce the amount of Rangers fans at Celtic Park, however there are a few issues.
1) Following the game where there were no fans an agreement was made on minimum amounts.
2) To police Celtic fans in and out of that corner with Rangers fans above them would be a nightmare for plod and they simply won't allow it
3) we have had the broomloan throughout the 90s and you loved watching it empty quicker than a virgins baws without worrying about it
Just a few points not looking for an argument or anything. Have a Good Friday

23 Mar 2018 07:33:37
That will never change there was an agreement between the 2 clubs on ticket allocation. Also an agreement with police scotland for fan safety at matches on were to situate fans.

23 Mar 2018 08:25:36
I hate the way they think they own ibrox nowadays, especially Brown.

It's down to the players to put an end to our endurance by sending them home defeated.

23 Mar 2018 08:53:15
In all fairness Brown has owned Ibrox when he's been there. Maybe because it was his first love, but not his last;)

23 Mar 2018 09:03:22
Two issues nakas, one, there would be no Rangers fans above you in the corner and, two, we police aberdeen, hibs fans well enough to the corner so you are no worse, or are you?

23 Mar 2018 09:38:33
There would be Rangers fans above, and we both know a Glasgow derby is nothing like Hibs or sheep coming to town

23 Mar 2018 09:47:28
The mhanky mob were requested not to drape banners or flags over the advertising hoardings and I'm sure it came as no great shock to any of us, when the request was totally ignored. I'm equally sure the board fully expected them to ignore the request as well. Now obviously this could affect our advertising revenue, and therefore cannot be allowed to continue.

So, as they will always do this, my question is, after all these years, why ask them to stop now? And could the clammer for them to be stuck in the corner have finally stung the board into finding a legitimate reason to shift them? We can only hope.

23 Mar 2018 09:48:10
guys get over this. this is what adds to the game. Their dominance won't last forever, I can guarantee that!

23 Mar 2018 10:19:28
Are any of you seriously saying that the police said that if we reduce the away support from 7500 to 2500 it will be harder to police? All I want is more Gers fans at Ibrox to watch the big games, what's wrong with that?

23 Mar 2018 11:13:45
Hi Colster. Is that a reference to the insider info you had heard? If so hope this is true

23 Mar 2018 11:50:57
seeker. Yep. If you pop over to the finance page you will see a name being mentioned. I can categorically say that this is not the guy. 😉

23 Mar 2018 12:30:37
who cares where they sit, its down to the team on the park we never moaned when we were winning the league and doing the huddle on their home ground. why are some fans so petty?

23 Mar 2018 12:44:33
Stop being pathetic. It won’t be that when we are winning again and beating Celtic because I never heard these complaints before. And please, forget about Scott Brown because too many rangers fans on this forum can’t help but mention him, it’s almost like an obsession.

23 Mar 2018 14:26:56
We never had this problem when we were beating them, we just need a good enough team on the park and they will be quiet.

Reduce their allocation and they will reduce ours, what’s the point?

23 Mar 2018 15:45:08
The issue arose when people were sitting in season ticket seats in the Broomloan watching brechin alloa montrose ect but as soon as they come calling its youll have to move to accommodate them. How can you argue with people wanting more RANGERS fans into a HOME game at Ibrox?

23 Mar 2018 20:57:18
Colster do u refer to the two names I mentioned, I did not say either would be owners. I reported what is fact and available from companies house.
We can all infer by rumour we know who is coming in, unless u name them in advance it is worthless, as if u claim u were right, no one knows.

23 Mar 2018 23:20:14
Broon is average and done get a grip

24 Mar 2018 07:02:11
Keep things the way it is. The day is coming soon when Ibrox will become a fortress again with a strong and skillful team. There is no better sight than watching the celtic fans emptying the Broomloan Stand with 20 mins remaining.

24 Mar 2018 07:30:04
Thats the point harryboy, our day IS coming and there will only be 42500 Gers fans there to see it, how can any Rangers fan argue with me by willingly limiting the amount of Rangers fans that can get inside Ibrox to witness it?

24 Mar 2018 08:04:40
Jyf easy to argue with u. Why would u dilute our 9000 at celtic park.
I've followed our great club home and away also Europe and don't agree with u . Why not just ban all away support across Scotland, because that sounds like what u want

24 Mar 2018 10:46:58
jboy what a childish argument, nowhere have I said ban all away support, or can you show me different? I am advocating treating our friends from the eastend the exact same way we treat every other team in world football when they visit Ibrox and that is to give them the corner. I don't care about parkhead, its a midden and you are treated like dirt by all and sundry when you go there. I too follow Rangers all over the world and doubt there are many (any) stadia where I get to take a home supporters season ticket seat.

24 Mar 2018 12:46:48
P. S. 9,000?

24 Mar 2018 21:45:57
Jyf ach well u know best

23 Mar 2018 01:37:10
According to the Daily Mail (I know), we are looking to bring Moult in the summer.

He's done hee haw down there and only played 3 games but I'd take him at Rangers in a heartbeat. Felt he was a Rangers number 9 waiting to happen, but Pedro decided to spend 1.3m on Herrera instead 🤦🏻‍♂️ Sore one.

23 Mar 2018 14:03:15
But you can't really blame Pedro for that can you if you look at it on paper before hand you have mault who before motherwell was playing for nouneaten town and wrexem and now can not get a game for preston. then Herrera was a Mexican international and had won the Mexican title with him at santos Laguna so at the time motherwell were wanting 1million from us for mault so for 1.5million why wouldn't he go for someone who he knows and have work with before and and someone who has played at a higher level? And tbh Herrera has been terrible but mault has been no better for Preston.

24 Mar 2018 01:55:31
You can blame Pedro mate, he bought a player approaching 30 years of age, not played a day of his career outside of Mexico, is it really a surprise this move has not worked out? Pedro didn’t even play the guy and he signed him.

Moult would have cost us under a million. Not saying Moult is this big super player or anything, but at least he was proven in our league.

For the record I have nothing against Big Herrera, seems an honest professional, but he’s been yet another expensive failure. At least Pena as disinterested as he seemed, scored some goals for us. Had a very decent record compared to games played.
