Fraser Aird on loan to Vancouver Whitecaps.

24 Jan 2016 21:04:20
I saw this in the Canadian Press yesterday. Would be a good move for the boy since I am sure he would get some game time as a winger.

23 Jan 2016 15:56:27
Possible souttar from Dundee utd to sign by tomorrow.

23 Jan 2016 16:20:19
I'd be absolutely delighted to get him. Would be cheap too since his contract is running out in the summer.

23 Jan 2016 16:26:50
Do you have a link jimbob.

23 Jan 2016 17:00:10
I don't think that Thompson would sell him to us with our history with them but here's hoping great young player.

23 Jan 2016 17:12:33
I hope not he's rank rotten. Every dufc fan i know wants rid of him.

23 Jan 2016 17:14:06
Aye doubt they would loan him to us as that is the ONLY market it seems we shall be operating in.

23 Jan 2016 17:59:27
Not a chance guys, it would b a massive shock if we went to Dundee Utd for any of their players at the moment because Celtics already took the best they had.

23 Jan 2016 19:36:54
I thought we would only sign players that will improve what we have! Dundee United, the Celtic Feeder Club, has already given them their better players!

23 Jan 2016 19:40:05
Delboy9 I know where your coming from mate, but I personally don't give a monkeys who we sign our players from, if that's giving money back into scottish football or else where and they produce the goods for us who cares .
We can't bring our level down to Thompsons .
Also the more money going into Scotland only makes teams stronger, ( competition, challenge, and try and get away from the two tier, challenge.

23 Jan 2016 19:41:26
Soutter would be a top signing for us. Exactly what we need and already experienced at a young age. Hope this happens.

23 Jan 2016 20:15:43
Untied would have to sell if they wanted anything for him as his contract is running up and is free to talk. I think he would be a great addition and could potentially have a very good sell on value.

23 Jan 2016 20:22:30
Is Soutters contract not up at the end of season? Would we need to pay a development fee?

23 Jan 2016 21:07:23
I really hope there is some truth to this! Would much rather soutter to diagouraga.

23 Jan 2016 21:17:24
Yeh we would and the fee would be about 200k much bin line with what telfers was when he went the other way.

23 Jan 2016 21:12:02
Yous on the right planet soutters not rangers class far to slow him n wilson have no pace god help us in the spl next season if anythin fingers crossed michael o'halloran comes.

24 Jan 2016 00:11:10
Not all about pace Barry. Look at the likes of fergi, prso, weir, mendes. Now I'm not for a second saying he is as good as any of them but for the position we want him to play I'm not really concerned if he's not the fastest. He would be a great capture.

24 Jan 2016 07:53:22
How can you say he is slow? He's 18/19 odd with 2 seasons of footie under his belt, he has been played in 3 different positions DM/RB and CB and frankly I think he would be an excellent signing with the backroom staff we have.

23 Jan 2016 10:51:58
Rumour that Charlie telfer may be allowed to leave dundee United, he was one of our most promising youngsters and he was allowed to leave, does anyone else think he could do a job for us? he has looked good when playing for Utd.

23 Jan 2016 11:07:14
No, Barrie MacKay is twice the player good lick to the wee lad though.

23 Jan 2016 11:07:14
No, Barrie MacKay is twice the player good lick to the wee lad though.

23 Jan 2016 11:28:09
Good point crumlin bear, thought he could add a bit of depth if player that are rumoured to leave like law, Sheilds, Clark do leave.

23 Jan 2016 12:06:42
Who said, Clark, Law and Shields are leaving?
These guys have a roll to play this season .

23 Jan 2016 12:16:49
We got 200k development fee for him (hilarious) so it'd be nice to step in and take him for nothing just to wind up their chairman who is an absolute knob.

I've no idea if he's any good right enough.

23 Jan 2016 12:41:28
Brian p, they are rumoured to be leaving as they are high earners and I think they are nearing the end of contracts, Rangers may wish to move them on to get some fee for them and I think it has been rumoured that shiels would like more 1st team football to enhance his chances of makin the NI squad for Euro 2016 mate.

23 Jan 2016 12:41:42
He decided to leave and has failed, wouldn't entertain this one for a second. Good luck to him in finding another club.

23 Jan 2016 12:49:01
Luigi I think he left as ally wasn't give him a chance of 1st team football that in my opinion was wrong as youth should have been given a chance when we were working our way back through the lower leagues.

23 Jan 2016 12:53:30
I think you're right Forfar.

23 Jan 2016 12:59:13
Cheers the Campbell. i think if telfer and others had been given a chance to get us through the lower leagues they would have built up an experience of playing for our great club week in week out and going in to the top league next season would have become key players.

23 Jan 2016 13:32:47
If he can't get into a really poor Utd team he ain't getting into the current rangers team.

23 Jan 2016 13:41:55
Playing for losers week in week out may have had an affect on the lad, if we did go for him I believe the new coaching system might just revive the lad, we'll wait and see, but good luck to him anyway you don't just lose it!

23 Jan 2016 14:30:21
Your right that far from super ally made the young lads feel that they were unwanted and didn't give them a chance. No arguments there, you have to ask under what circumstances he would have given them a chance.

I think it was out of fear, coisty deep down knew he wasn't up to it and thought that packing the team with experience was way to go. Cost us a lot of money and has done us no good in the long run.

But wouldn't for a second have telfer back. He's failed to make it at a rank rotten Celtic feeder team, not because he left us- I would have done the same if I was him.

23 Jan 2016 15:04:05
Having seen Telfer a few times in Rangers youth team he never really stood out for me compared to Darren Ramsay and Andy Murdoch who played at the time Telfer not for me but the other two might still have chance.

23 Jan 2016 15:15:35
Yeah your maybe right luigi mate. i don't think ally ever looked confident he had what it takes, maybe a big job too soon. the telfer thing I posted was just a wee idea that maybe would have helped with squad depth.

23 Jan 2016 15:31:28
McCoist had the chance to bring in the young guys but bottled it to go for the Unbeatable season, hence they never got a sniff whilst the auld pals act prevailed!

23 Jan 2016 19:37:55
Clearly not as good as he thought he was. Good riddance.

23 Jan 2016 22:19:12
Forfarger yes know where you are coming from, but what's more important, money off the books or promotion , yes agree about Shiels who is a player I rate, hopefully NI manager picks him .

24 Jan 2016 09:21:41
Brian p both are important mate, the way we are still losing money every month is quite bad, I agree with you 100% about the 3 said players, I like all three. it was just a rumour I heard mate, that's all.

24 Jan 2016 17:32:54
Forfarger, see where your coming from, but I know I'm going to be slated for saying this I don't think the money issue is as bad as what people think!
MW will know he cannot afford to let those three go, especially if nothing else happens in this window, the most important thing is getting up this season, and we will.

24 Jan 2016 21:17:12
I sympathise with every player that was at Ibrox under McCoist and McDowall because the bold Ally was totally and utterly clueless. We are seeing now from Law and to a lesser extent from Shiels, the quality that they have, when they are playing for a quality coach.

I don't blame McCoist, any Rangers man given the opportunity to manage the team would most likely jump at the chance. I blame Smith, he was too much 'jobs for the boys' that he didn't think of the future and all McCoist saw during his previous time at the Club was a Regime that consistently threw money at signings.

Smith's loyalty to McCoist has cost us dear just as his previous loyalty to players that were over the hill cost us ten in a row.

23 Jan 2016 09:26:26
Crooks and windass will playing at ibrox by the end of this month, remember you heard it here first bears and also remember slow and steady wins the race guys let's not get carried away with who we sign during this window the summer edition's are the most important ones for are club.

23 Jan 2016 09:57:59
Have we arranged a friendly with Accrington Stanley then?

23 Jan 2016 12:09:55
Don't you understand what skint means?
We need a loan to buy anyone.

23 Jan 2016 14:32:26
Not sure why people are clicking disagree Pulsar. 100% correct. We don't just need loans to buy we need them to keep the ship afloat.

23 Jan 2016 14:58:45
Were are people getting we're skint from? We aren't jumping into transfers and paying over the odds for players like we've done previously. Only this can be a good thing. I don't think we even have to strengthen to get to the premiership we're doing alright just now.

23 Jan 2016 18:49:27
Correct John. Everyone is blaming the board but Warburton has full backing and he is the one in charge. He said it himself, he will only add value. He is a business man and is only interested in doing good buisness. He himself is not willing to give clubs inflated fees for players. He keeps saying it himself in all his press conferences this month.

23 Jan 2016 19:39:31
I hope the Accrington Stanley Boys do arrive by the end of the month! I also hope we see some money spent by King!
