Why would Rangers not be going for the likes of Andrew Shinnie at Inverness. Free to talk to as his deal is up in summer, he's a true Rangers fan, top player guiding caley to 2nd in SPL, tore us apart in the cup game and has grown up with a lot of the players currently at Rangers. Would be an absoloute steal, i'm sure he's dying to come back. I hope we are looking at it.

There will be a lot of free agents available soon.Put your money on one of last season's exodus to make a return, not saying I am for the idea but I wouldn't be surprised.

Why would he want to take a step back. He is out to improve his career not take a step backwards.

Ian

Shinnie good player, but in terms of impact in the lower Leagues, Motherwells Chris HUMPHREY seems, an equally good option.

Can't imagine Shinnie will be looking to go 2 steps back the way when the guy is playing at the top of his game.

With a really good chance of european football next season i'm sure andrew would give that and spl up to drop into the third tier of scottish football.jimbo

Was he not quite injury prone when he was at ibrox !! {The Ed039's Note - He had some injuries yes, but he came back from them. The whole reason he left is because Rangers had players coming on big wages that we couldnt afford anyway and keeping talented youngsters out of the first team)

None of these players wanna come to rangers this year, we will just have to wait till we are further up leagues. Its just the harsh reality of were we are at this moment plus if you look a the players we signed from SPL this year they haven't exactly been great have they?

People keep going on about a step back. Short career - players are motivated by cash.

As for most scottish teams in europe they will be out on europe (like every other season) before big teams enter.

Wallace is a better player why did he stay, Templeton is better why did he sign, anything is possible and if you get better wages you sign. R.T.I.D.

He'll go to English Championship if he's any sense, Aberdeen are sniffing around him, but surely he's more options than that lot

the boy was real good talent to come from rangers saddly never got a game something am sure rangers now see as a stupid mistake with the likes of makay and aird coming into the team what we need to focus on is developing this and keep the good players coming as that's the way the best of teams come about no point buying players for millions when you have a young boy crying out for a game and will give you everything for the fans and the team would welcome the likes of andy back but atm we have good players in the middle who can do that job just fine

Is Andrew Shinnie a boyhood Rangers fan?

Why would he drop a couple of divisions for a team that never gave him a chance in the first place?

Aye he would be coming back to the biggest club in scotland

Think he was/is an aberdeen fan.

Decent player, if it wasn't for his injury problems I'm sure he would have featured more for us.

One thing's for sure: he won't be going from ICT to the sheep, that really would be a waste of time.

How much of a motivator is "European football" if it amounts to getting pumped by Sligo Rovers?!? "The race for second..."- give me peace! As a fan of a provincial, my ideal league finish would be one place below the "European places"!

He might be doing wel at ICT but he was pish when he was at rangers the first time {The Ed039's Note - Did you get to see much of him?)

Why would he go to 3rd div club?
Seriously get a grip {The Ed039's Note - If you think he wouldnt consider it then you really need to get a grip)

"top player guiding caley to 2nd in SPL"

Says it all really. Caley in 2nd place with a good chance of European football. So why drop 3 divs to play nonfootball.

Ian

We dumped him so why would he come back to 3years of misery when his stock is high enough to go to England and make serious money
