more ex-ranger rumour than rangers rumour... and a break from tax case, liquidation, craig whyte, administration, blah blah blah. Walter Smith to Wolves. You heard it here first.

Big Blue

Believable14 Unbelievable34

Wolves eh ?.... i wonder if ally will join him, i woulnt blame super ally

Agree0 Disagree0

If its true m8 all the best tae big walter, would like to have seen him at a biger team but probly still dae a job at wolves

WALTER SMITH HERO!

Agree0 Disagree0

Is he a bit confused as to how to actually keep the wolves from the door at ibrox?

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldn't hold my breath he got found out at everton. Would sally have to give t**ttie back the brown shoes that seem to get passed down to every manager?

Agree0 Disagree0

Walter 3/1 favourite with the bookies now, looks like this could happen good luck to him

Agree0 Disagree0

Good choice if true.He never had the best of times at Everton as he had no dough to spend so he deserves a well run team.

Jungle Bhoy. {Ed001's Note - not true, he had enough to build a better side than he did.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed,i thought he had lots of cutbacks and that's why they were fighting relegation when he was there?

Jungle Bhoy. {Ed001's Note - not really, he is a very good coach, but he was tactically weak, he played for a draw in every match. It just doesn't pay at a higher level.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed 001

Some pretty rotten comments re Walter Smith

Seriously?

Rangers legend

Besides didn't waltenaccio play put pretty well in the uefa cup? {Ed001's Note - Everton were truly dire under him mate, even my Aunt, who is the bitterest bitter (even her two sons, who are both Evertonians, call her a bitter) and can never see anything wrong with Everton, will tell you that Smith was terrible for them. You only had to see the huge change in fortune Moyes brought with him, to know Smith just wasn't up to the job. To be fair to him, he was the best of a long string of poor managers they had suffered under and the team did need a lot of work. But he just wasn't able to do it.}

Agree0 Disagree0

. Rangers debt was only £8 million when walter returned then it spiralled to £30 million.

Legend right enough, lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

Edt notes are spot on WS was given money at Everton but as Ed says was always plying for a draw terrible football to watch did sell some players for good money though including to Rangers (Cheers)

Agree0 Disagree0

Thought he'd retired!, or did he just clear out before the sh1t hit the fan, like a rat leaving the sinking ship

Agree0 Disagree0

Wolves job would be the kiss of death!

Dont touch it Walter!

Nobody wants the job.

Agree0 Disagree0

As a bluenose i don't know why walter is held in such high regard by fellow supporters. the football was embarassing, and the fact that he isn't being linked with any descent clubs says it all.

Agree0 Disagree0

He just rejected wolves job.Would people stop typing lol it does my head in.

Agree0 Disagree0

Football might not have been the greatest, but you tell me any other manager who won us 3 in a row and got us to a european final recently?

he also took a chance on signing davie weir and turned out one of our best signings.

I'll always think highly of walter.

Ed can I ask if you have heard or read from a good source anywhere that HMRC themselves (not 2nd 3rd hand)have said they "will appeal appeal appeal" or could it be Craig whyte talking more p!ss... You would think it could only ever be one appeal (unless they keep finding grounds)... PaulRFC {Ed001's Note - it would be in HMRC's interests to appeal any decision, if they can, but they have not made any kind of statement to that effect.}

Believable10 Unbelievable17

This league is getting more farfetched as ever game goes by.ever team is letting celtic win. it getting be on a joke . teams don't even score against them anymore. this league has been boughtin i'm my option.no team try,s against them. it a joke.this is what it would like if rangers disappeared. the league and cup competitions would be a joke .

Agree0 Disagree0

Well, if it is a joke just now with rangers IN the league, how will we notice the difference if they aren't?
Also, HMRC are a cert to appeal if rangers win the FTT. I believe it's par for the course.

Agree0 Disagree0

A judge would need to decide if they can appeal. so no. they are unlikely to appeal more than once because a judge would be very unlikely to permit this - fact. So in answer to your question, CW is talkin' pish.

Agree0 Disagree0

Teams are frightened to have a go at Celtic because they are full of confidence at the mo and scoring goals for fun. Other teams know this so sit deep to prevent a spanking, hence no attacking from them. They don't let Celtic win, just scared to attack them.

brian kennedy is not interested in buying rangers, however he maybe interested in being part of a consortium involving paul murray(clyde1)

Believable32 Unbelievable23

Brian Kennedy actually said that if Rangers are debt free, then he wouldn't have a hope of getting them, as people would be queing up to buy the club....he said, what other business in this day and age get 50,000 customers every other week.

Agree0 Disagree0

Probably hundreds of businesses actually asda morrisons tesco scotrail baa the odeon halfords argos Vodafone t mobile sky virgin.... Do you see where I'm going with this

Agree0 Disagree0

Yea and santa clause is putting up 40% of the consortiums money...

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree0 Disagree0

Forgive me i had to google kuntz as i thought you were a bad speller at the windup .

Believable31 Unbelievable36

Been on and pledged. Been a fan all my life but not been to a game in 20 years. Its my time to do my part.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who put unbelievable....stv showed them leave ibrox together today!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm deffo goin on to give some

Agree0 Disagree0

I've put my money in, not that I have much but willing to do my bit.

Agree0 Disagree0

Said this was the first step a while ago but my worry at the time was, whats stopping celtic or other fans signing up for a laugh? then we will think weve got more support than we have... i wouldnt even pretend that am a celtic fan for 1 minute but others think different

FauldsRFC {Ed001's Note - if they do sign up, they will just make it easier for the movement to work. The more interest registered, the easier it will be to get it set up, even if people don't follow through with money.}

Agree0 Disagree0

It would be nice to own the club n i have pledged myself , however i think the supporter associations should look at a co ownership with the fans where the fans would elect their man on the board with equal powers to the other co owner s ? wot do people think about that

Agree0 Disagree0

Most celtic fans I know understand they need Rangers, dont believe the hype by a few online that they dont want us around, I would say the same if Celtic where in our shoe's

Agree0 Disagree0

Pledged my money. Let all bears u know to do their bit.

Agree0 Disagree0

If rangers was to go the celtic fans that are sayin they wud love for rangers too go would soon realise the spl is no fun anymore!

Agree0 Disagree0

I've pledged minus 6 million same as Craig Whyte put in. Oh plus 1 pound.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets be honest if Celtic went bust we'd be dancing in the streets

Agree0 Disagree0

I've pledged my 1k. was more than i can afford but my club means the world to me.

Agree0 Disagree0

We all think we'd prefer the scum to go down the Kermit but really? No old firm equals no fun. I know it hurts when we lose but its well worth it when we win.

Agree0 Disagree0

Tims are regist'n to it also so figures would be imposs to wrk out

Agree0 Disagree0

Company Director - C.T Whyte.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think most of it is banter by celtic fans we would be the same i guess no rangers or no celtic would be the end of scottish football no tv rights traveling fans who plough money into glasgow european fans visiting the city local business would suffer i wouldnt like to see any of the two clubs fold rangers v celtic is the best game in the world by a mile it ok joking but when people get made redundant its not a laughing matter

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers and celtic are like an old married couple lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Psml a bit of glesga banter above post cheers everyone up

Agree0 Disagree0

Correct the fans should own the club and have a rep on the board along with a few big investors at the club but the fans must have over 51 percent of ownership not one person should have ownership again

Agree0 Disagree0

Best bit of sense yet. I just gave 600 quid to charity a few weeks ago with money raised from a wishing well at my wedding reception. Im sure people at it wouldnt have been chuffed if i had been putting it into Rangers but it just shows you what can be achieved.

Agree0 Disagree0

We already had a chance to buy shares and no one stumped up any cash. Its easy to pledge any number you want when there are no assurances you will pay up. I think it will get trolled and we will end up looking stupid again by putting our trust in fantasy money.

SPL will be giving Rangers 10 days to pay the money they are due Dundee Utd, Hearts, Dunfermline and Inverness, or they face another 10pt penalty
Rangers are in breach of SPL rules and articles of assoc if they do not honour these payments

Believable46 Unbelievable52

Stop talking pants , dam people make up absolute rubbish

Agree0 Disagree0

Pay them with what money?

Agree0 Disagree0

Where in the rules does it say this? Wishful thinking on your behave again Timmy.

Agree0 Disagree0

What a l ot of rubbish - the rules state that a club is docked 10 points for going into administration - full stop.

Agree0 Disagree0

The club is in administration and its now out of Rangers hands regarding money owed, as such you are talking bollox mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

Under rule d4.6 any team failing to pay said transfer shall incur a 5% per annum penalty.read up on rules before coming on here with your rubbish ya clown.

Agree0 Disagree0

Get a grip they are in Admin

Agree0 Disagree0

The reason we are in administration is we can't pay our bills so how can we pay these teams Jog on and stop spouting rubbish

Agree0 Disagree0

It doesnt take an idiot to read. The only way rangers can drop another 10pts is to come out of administration and go back into it. TODD88

Agree0 Disagree0

Who cares take the 10 points and really devalue the title !

Agree0 Disagree0

All sfa will do is withold any monies rangers are owed from prize monies or tv money

Agree0 Disagree0

Which one of the four do you support? Could it be Motherwell by any chance!

Agree0 Disagree0

Silly post must be from the a fan of team in 3rd place

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers cant pay any money to any clubs while in admin

Agree0 Disagree0

Im sure these clubs wont push for payments as rangers are in administration just now and will seek payment at a future date once everything is resolved

The news to be announced is that Sir Richard Branson is to purchase Rangers, this however as a comment previously stated, will not be concluded till full amount owed is known.
Sir Richard Bransons wife is from Glasgow and her family are Rangers minded.
This is known as I am in business with his brother in law (who is having no financial input), just an excited supporter.
Personally I suspect this may be used as some leveridge to get the Old firm into England, but again that's just a personal opinion.
However, this may not happen prior to March 31 Euro deadline, there's always a downside it seems.

Believable40 Unbelievable61

Ha. Nugget!

Richard branson mare like branstuns pickle

Agree0 Disagree0

Would Love it too be true just can't see why he would be interested tho too be honest

Agree0 Disagree0

Sir Richard Branson, was wondering how long until somebody mentioned his name. Good try. lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Can picture it the now Shagger wearing a shirt with Virgin across it

Agree0 Disagree0

So Richard Branson wants to buy Rangers just because his wife is from Glasgow? (Despite the fact that he already sponsors Newcastle United and could buy them if he wanted!) that is amazing news

Agree0 Disagree0

Good story not enough bones on it though surely the publicity loving branson would have shown his registered interest by now

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha ha ha ha i wish craig+babybear

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye & Usain Bolt is signing as a winger !

Agree0 Disagree0

I wish, I really do! But it'll never happen

Agree0 Disagree0

Best one yet No Chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont be ridiculous. No company will buy either Rangers or Celtic as if you buy one you alienate the other. All the virgin customers gained as rangers fans would be lost as Celtic fans would not use them

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't believe people are actually clicking the believable button. Ha.

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolutely p1ssing myself laughing. What time do you have to be back in your padded cell by.

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye the Queen said shes gonna invest in the club aswell

Agree0 Disagree0

Aaaaahaaaa there's no chance who told u that Craig whyte

Agree0 Disagree0

So...a hugely successful businessman will buy into rangers, immediately losing around 100m due to debts etc, and all because his wife is from glasgow?

well, i'm convinced

FPMSL!!

taco

Agree0 Disagree0

Er Nike don't sponser more than one club from one city .. So even if sir Richard buys into the teddy bears your way off the mark !

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha ha What a load of p*sh you have more hot air than one of bransons balloons

Agree0 Disagree0

If you done your research (due diligence) you would have known his wife is from Edinburgh, numpty!!

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't believe this rumour, but how does it matter if his wife is from Edinburgh, bus loads come from all over Scotland, England and Ireland to support old firm

Agree0 Disagree0

Best Joke this week!

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh, how I wish this would be true. I'm not shooting it down. But I do think it's HIGHLY unlikely.

Agree0 Disagree0

If Branson gets involved with Rangers i will get rid of my Virgin package

Agree0 Disagree0

I always just read the posts and have never posted. I seen this rumour as highly unlikely, if not funny. But I work at Edinburgh airport and personally seen Sir Bransons step foot from a Embraer Phenom 300 (light private jet) at 2035 hours this evening.
Now I'm thinking talks tomorrow as I'm sure he once stated he doesn't trust accountants to do his business
Man how an opinion can change in seconds..
And yes, I'm sure it wasn't Usain Bolt with a falsy..

Agree0 Disagree0

Its true... not true he's gonna buy Rangers but true he is in Scotland... I have seen him also..... If I see him again i will just ask him outright and put end to this dream

Agree0 Disagree0

MI have also heard from a trustworthy source that this is true. Record will be running this in the next day or two

Agree0 Disagree0

I am also a Newcastle fan i am from Northern Ireland and he could buy Newcastle if he wanted and would he would make more money and to be a brilliant force in European football in the best league in the world

Agree0 Disagree0

Newcastle Utd are a great team, but they are not and will never be the Glorious Glasgow Rangers!
Many more supporters worldwide means many more opportunities for money to be made.
He is loaded for a reason, he's smart, put the old firm on a world stage and it would be lucrative to say the least.

Agree0 Disagree0

The record will not run this story. It's not worth the ink nor the ridicule.

Agree0 Disagree0

"He is loaded for a reason, he's smart"

you hit the nail on the head there mate.....and that's exactly why he WONT be getting involved with rangers.....smart men dont flush hundreds of millions down the pan

Any chance it's to do with him taking over BMI's slots at Edinburgh airport, keep up with the news boys

Agree0 Disagree0

You could fill up his Baloon with all that hot air your blowing!

I am sure they have just opened a call centre for Virgin Money out at the Gyle so if he is in Edinburgh I would think it is to go and see them.

I know it's not a great source, however Chris McLaughlin just stated Ally McCoist and Dave King seen leaving Ibrox together, does anyone know if this is true and false.

Believable47 Unbelievable15

It is true was on sky sports

Agree0 Disagree0

Romance is in the air!

Agree0 Disagree0

McCoist is meeting administrators today, which would most likely be at Ibrox. This would suggest that the administrators are now in a position to discuss players contracts with McCoist.

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye its true was on ssn

Agree0 Disagree0

Video on numerous media websites so true.strange goings on feeling something about to break as i said just a feeling

Agree0 Disagree0

It is true just seen it on bbc news and so can everyone else if they care to check it out

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would this be unusual - Dave King is a non executive director.

Agree0 Disagree0

Was on ssn king got in ally's car after coming out ibrox together

Agree0 Disagree0

Well why wouldn't Dave King be there, he is a director.

Agree0 Disagree0

All over the news

Agree0 Disagree0

Probably asking ally if he done his tax return forms in time.

Agree0 Disagree0

It was a mere observation/comment i made, wasn't making anything out of it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't know if DK is still a director. Was that not one of Whytes last acts, he got rid of DK from the board. He is still a shareholder though.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wasnt King dismissed as a director a few days ago?? Think it was a week to 10 days ago that I read it the daily rebel...

Agree0 Disagree0

King is no longer a director.

Rumors here in Germany is that AEG are the American investor that is interested in buying Rangers to be honest mainly as they see Ibrox as a foothold in Scotland for their business which is concerts but I wouldnt be to downhearted by that company owner Philip Annaschutz is Football crazy owns LA Galaxy and at one stage owned 3 MLS clubs AEG owns Hamburg stadium and that is where the rumors are coming from (meaningless friendly more money being spent on PA system than players, crazy deal with ticketus since when does a season ticket at Ibrox cost £240 reportedly own 100.000)

Believable14 Unbelievable34

AEG was alleged to be interested in buying spurs for £450 million until the weekend.

I want to know if the story is true that Whyte has sold Arsenal shares that
belonged to Rangers for a profit and and then put the money into one of his
ailing companies?

Believable19 Unbelievable8

Apparently so, yes. daily Record ran a story today. I have no doubt the administrators will comment on it this week since it has been run by the media and clarify this one way or another. To be honest, its a disgrace if he has.

Agree0 Disagree0

That's rediculous! Why the hell did he do that?!

Agree0 Disagree0

Its all over all the press i'm afraid.

Disgusted & horrified.

Blue Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

That's your 100+ year connection to Arsenal gone now.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes he sold 16 shares in arsenal for over £200,000. This is now in an account of a company in Bournemouth. Whyte has blocked this money from going back to Rangers.............

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes, it is true. He sold 16 shares for over 200K pounds and had it deposited in his stockbroking company Pritchards.

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you really need to ask?............green jhedi

Agree0 Disagree0

Yep. he sold the shares, stuck the money in his stockbroking account and is currently spending it on latino ladies of the night. well, they wont sleep with that googly eyed monster for free will they?

Agree0 Disagree0

By the way, whyte does not put money into his ailing companies, only into ones that are fluid so that he can get his sticky hand on the dosh. he is not going to pay off debts is he? silly boy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes unfortunately!..... And the account of this company has been frozen due financial irregularities. Whyte was on the board of this company until last week.

Source.... Keith Jackson from the Record - his telephone interview with talks port about an hour or so ago.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its on the BBC Scottish gossip page aswell

Agree0 Disagree0

Eh......so he could cash in?

Agree0 Disagree0

It will be their 139 year history that will be next to be lost, without any profit.

Agree0 Disagree0

If this true then someone should add up the money taken in and subtract the amount going out then approach the police as individuals reporting a possible theft

Agree0 Disagree0

In addition to this, he has since resigned from said ailing company. Awarding himself a golden handshake, no doubt.

Agree0 Disagree0

What dont you get, Whyte owns rangers and all it's assets, he can sell what he wants be it players, arsenal shares or future season tickets. It may be immoral but its not illegal. Not paying employee tax and VAT however can be illegal, he may get his just deserts there.

Agree0 Disagree0

Our 139year history.quiet rich coming from a fan off a team started up in 1994.hop along old buoy hop along.

Agree0 Disagree0

What you on about, started up in 1994!! We are still the same club that was founded in 1888, and another thing we we never went into ADMINISTRATION, HA HA HA , Jelly and ice cream.

Agree0 Disagree0

The tims right they- changed thier name as the company changed from ltd to plc or vice versa

Agree0 Disagree0

The guy has no morals

Agree0 Disagree0

Very true sad this guy would sell sand to the middle east if he had the chance terrible news

Agree0 Disagree0

Is this true : shocked if he did they did not belong to him ? ed who had the rights to these shares ? {Ed001's Note - Rangers did, as owner that meant Whyte did. The old board had suggested selling them.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Sad state of affairs how low

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely these shares were not part of the 85 percent craig whyte owns i thought these would come under other shares can u confirm ed ? {Ed001's Note - they were owned by the club, so yes, he owned 85% of them.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic restructered didnt collapse then reform.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just Type Rangers into E/bay and you will see he is selling the individual letters from above the gates Starting price £25 a letter,
And Two by Two patches of the pitch for a fiver, And season ticket holders will be given the chance to buy their seat to take home and watch replays of the history that was Ranger

Fee agreed for McKay to go to south Korea, gutted for the lad, shame he never got his chance.

Scotty urbs

Believable9 Unbelievable6

No point clicking unbelieve! It's on the rangers website!

Agree0 Disagree0

They're probably clicking unbelievable regarding the original posters point of "shame he wasn't given a chance".

Agree0 Disagree0

Think the guy was treated really poorly, couldn't have been a bad player and to train all week only to see guys like Papac gettin a game in midfield while he didn't even make the bench must have been hard to take, feel sorry for Bedoya too, both poorly treated Ally.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well he did get a chance but not obv wasnt up to much in traning

Agree0 Disagree0

There agreeing with the fact he never got a chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolute joke!

Agree0 Disagree0

What I'd like to know is, who was it that bought players like MacKay, Bedoya etc. As if it was Ally and he never played them as they weren't up to it, then he needs to go, as he's just wasting money and it doesn't look good for his future dealing in the transfer market or was it Gordon Smith, Ali Russell or CW then no wonder Ally didn't play them, as he probable didn't want them from the start.

Agree0 Disagree0

You dont honestly believe if these guys had what it takes they wuda been left on the bench? have more faith in your manager, they obv werent up to much in traning, and to be fair bedoya did get two starts and was pants both times, Matt McKay had no other clubs wanting him in england or scotland, he is away to south korea that says something, yes he was captain of brisbane roar and has caps for auz, but the games they play my gran could get a cap for them, they beat teams 30 and 40 nil in there asia - oceania continent, so both players might been terrible and tbh, its what you get when you buy players on the cheap.

Agree0 Disagree0

Obviously wasnt good enough, who cares.

Agree0 Disagree0

This last comment about McKay's teams winning by such high scores is a wee bit OTT. The guy did not get a chance at all, if Alastair McCoist signed him then he clearly either made a mistake or they had a difference when he got here, but on the other hand in my opinion I do not think he was involved in the signing. No matter what though the comments are very harsh on McKay.

Agree0 Disagree0

You dont honestly believe if these guys had what it takes they wuda been left on the bench? have more faith in your manager

HE SIGNED THEM YA TWALLY!

Agree0 Disagree0

And if he's not invovled in the signing what they hell is he doing there??

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with earlir posts. Very unusual signing. Would also like to know who was behind it. Prob whyte just trying to sell the club to every corner of the world. Like the Indian trialists. Instead of paying tax and running the basics of a football club.. what a timewaster and basically a shyster.

Agree0 Disagree0

McKay was brought to the attention of Rangers by Craig Moore, and he can spot talent (he thought my boy was brilliant, even in his Celtic shorts!)
McKay had his chance and took it well, had an assist to Jelevic in his first game (correct me if I'm wrong).
I think it was McCoists worst decision all year to leave him out.

GoldCoastBhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree the player never got a chance ok give him a dozen games then see he if dosnt impress let him go

Agree0 Disagree0

I think it's been a disgrace the way Matt McKay has been treated. I've posted my feelings before on this - he was a leader, a winner and he just did not get a chance to prove himself at Ibrox in this current Rangers side. I'm disappointed that his Rangers career had ended with so few games. Ed - get us the fully story on the goings on please.... {Ed001's Note - all I have been told is that McCoist simply didn't think he fitted into the style of play he wants. He was not physically strong enough for Scottish football was the phrase used. I don't think he helped himself by criticising the training set up, but he seemed to have already known he was not going to get a chance under McCoist when he did that.}

What is happening with Mervan Celik? Is the money not due for him after 30 days and he signed on the 20th of Jan so is he getting released??

Believable8 Unbelievable8

As far as I know he signed as a free agent. No fees are due.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers must pay compensation of £250,000 to his old club for developing a young player. This has to be paid for Feb 26th or Rangers will face UEFA sanctions(whatever that may be)

HAvent a clue if that means they will cancel the transfer!

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought a fee was due to his old club for being under 23? 250K due which Rangers were disputing

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be better letting him go.

Agree0 Disagree0

Compensation is owed to his previous team for training and development. If he was released by the club then no fee would have to be paid, but as he was offered a contract renewal (which he obviously declined) it means Rangers owe somewhere in the region of £230k.

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe that his swedish team are looking for compensation of around
£240 000, this is for bringing him through from youth football. This is similar to the money that Sone Aluko paid Aberdeen from his own pocket

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought his old club were due training compensation, because of his age, the same as aberdeen were wanting for sone aluko.

Agree0 Disagree0

I know! Why doesnt this ungrateful little Shyte pay it himself like Sone did?

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye bit wee sonny has a paper round a milk round n hes still deliverin fur dominoes pizzas tae help um paey the mortgage, bless um
pp

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed the comments about Celik being ungrateful little Craig Whyte are bad !

These comments are the sort of thing that make others glad that we are in the situation we are in - as the song goes No One Likes Us, with comments like that its no wonder...... {Ed001's Note - mate it was clearly tongue in cheek.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Dear ed to call a rangers player shyte is disgusting whoever posted bad news {Ed001's Note - oh come on, get a sense of humour, sheesh sometimes it is hard work, people are far too touchy.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Isn't he the major signing that was going to rip us apart?? Sally's signings are at best pub standard league players , Neil Murray super scout

Ska bhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry Ed I didn't mean cause you a headache, I was joking. Perhaps if i was to relent in my self imposed smiley embargo things would have been clearer. I do hate smileys though! {Ed001's Note - now you make me want to develop a range of smileys for the page, just for you!}

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha please dont Ed! That guy was properly pissed off as well. On reflection it's probably not the right time to be sarcastic on the Rangers page.

In all seriousness though aren't the sanctions for not paying training/development compensation pretty brutal?

Mac {Ed001's Note - yes, but they involve things such as being banned from European competition, which is not much of a worry right now for Rangers!}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ah, I suppose that European qualification isn't going to be the most pressing concern for the club at the moment. Aren't there domestic sanctions involved?

Mac {Ed001's Note - they are usually limited to transfer bans to be honest, which again isn't all that much of a worry right now!}

My mate works for Duff and Phelps, and he tells me that "liquidation" is now being openly discussed by the administrators. Apparently they are now looking for the best way, not for Rangers F.C to survive, but for whatever comes next to be a sustainable business. According to my mate, most of the worst problems faced by the club are yet to be revealed. Worrying times.

Believable34 Unbelievable88

Shut up you ya dafty my mate works for phelps if it was a different company spose heed work for them as well eh ya nuggit mon the gers we will survive please stop posting uter lies on this site man where do people make up this garbage sposed to be fans not fantasists

Agree0 Disagree0

Utter Jobby again. Was wondering how long it would be before the ' my mate works for Duff and Phelps' to come out. They have clearly came out and stated that liquidation is not a high possibility at the moment and they will do everything to make sure we don't.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is your mate the nightshift cleaner dream on timmy

Agree0 Disagree0

Ur mate couldnt tell you it will be highly confidential all money matters plus they havent finished yet so sorry but ur talking pants

Agree0 Disagree0

Out of whole of all the county your mate works for them they employ 250 their words and your mate works for them aye right

Agree0 Disagree0

Your mate is breaking the law, no information can be disclosed prior to release by the lead, I suggest you go back to your hole and dream something else up....

Agree0 Disagree0

Complete and utter pish

Agree0 Disagree0

Jeebus! They told the jannie all that...?
BB

Agree0 Disagree0

My mate also works there and he tells me otherwise. bugger of u dhim thim. agreement will be reached with most of the creditors and hmrc will be forced to accept what the rest agree. these are the rules of insolvency. it takes time to reach agreement buy it wont be held up by the hmrc being bullys asking for all there money. 8p in the £1 at the most.

Agree0 Disagree0

Which one is your friend is it Duff, Phelps or maybe the voice in your on wee mind that tells you to support Celtic!

Agree0 Disagree0

"my mate...."
sure he does, and he happily tells you whats happening before the company says a thing. Jog on pal

Agree0 Disagree0

Yir mate dosent work for them , tedbear

Agree0 Disagree0

While many aspects of what you've written here may very well be true I very much doubt one key point is...you having a mate that works for Duff and Phelps, so would have to conclude that it's utter piffle.

Agree0 Disagree0

Your mate will be on the dole soon then. Client confidentiality means nothing apparently?

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry,dont believe you.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yea my granny is the queen and I've spoken to her and she is going to tell HMRC to drop case! As believable as original post!!

Agree0 Disagree0

These people are serious players, they will not pass on info as they would lose their jobs and their ability to be re-employed anywhere in their profession. Utter rubbish!

Agree0 Disagree0

Is yer mate Craig Whyte by any chance cos he tells a load of lies as well. What a sad person making up wee stories.

Agree0 Disagree0

I work for another London based leading administration company, although not linked with this footballing deal, but have been involved with various others.
I doubt that ANY administration company would want to make R*****s insolvent as they have a legal duty to it's creditors. I am sure that it will have been discussed at great legnth. The crux of the whole thing may now rest on how Craig Whyte actually aquired the club. If reports ARE true that he has used the clubs money (season book sales until 2015) to pay off the bank debt then this could indeed lead to very worrying times for R*****s FC, as any future revenue has already been absorbed by one of his holding companies. Mr Whyte would have to under write that debt, if he is intent on getting out of the club he will probably take a big hit on this..... looking at his past business dealing I find this hard to understand. Money has to be found from some place and I think that it will be through player sales and possibly the selling off of any assets the club may have, problem here is that Mr Whyte had secured these prior to administration.... that would mean that he will gain somewhat from any sale of these assets thus walking away with a paycheck of sorts

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets just wait and see. all will be clear before the start of the new season.

Agree0 Disagree0

"hmrc will be forced to accept what the rest agree"

Pi5h

HMRC are running the show. You better believe it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Two lies in the original post, you have a friend and he works

Agree0 Disagree0

My mate also works for duff & phelps and he say this is not true ? hmmmm !

Agree0 Disagree0

I see the panic is setting in at Ibrox, long may it continue, hope you dont lose 5 points over the next few weeks and denie us the chance to take the title on your turf. At least the SPL won't have to worry about helicoptoring in the trophy this year, Mr Lennon (sir to your lot) will just have to pop into your blue room, and take control of what will be ours for the next several years.

Agree0 Disagree0

I have news for you, if employees of Duff & Phelps spoke about specific cases to people who don't need to know, its a) a sacking offense. and b) If proven, Duff & Phelps would be sued.

Agree0 Disagree0

My mate..........how many times have we all heard this crap, lol.......

Agree0 Disagree0

HMRC won't accept 8p in the pound and why should they, everyone else has to pay their taxes, and r*ngers should be made to pay every penny.

Agree0 Disagree0

Everybody does not pay their taxes, certain people/ company's can do what they want when it comes to paying tax. If there was not a central banking system like which we have and the government printed its own money, backed by it's own gold, then no one would have to pay tax, just like America until 1913, then which the fed was introduced, by the same people who run the bank of England. And just so all Rangers fans no, King William of Orange was the first person to introduce a central a central banking system. All fact, do your research.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sir neil lennon! haha dream on kimosabbi! he's no worth a knighthood, what just cos he has luckily about to win the treble he deserves it haha aye nb mate, crawl back into bed and think of a new dream! “WE DON'T DO WALKING AWAY“ stewie griffin
