Think it is now safe to assume there will be no joey Barton or niko kranjcar coming but today should really highlight to the board how much investment we so badly need. MW and DW have a huge summer in front of them because our results since the Celtic game have been unacceptable.

Danny wilson was our best player today same as kenny miller what game were you watching halliday tavs and kiernans defending was absolutely shocking if andy and tavs think they'll be in our team next year they should think again and kiernan 3 of them are terrrible.

I think with our players getting assaulted it will make any player not from Scotland think twice about it. I imagine that personal safety comes high up on the list on the job requirements!

What don't people get about in not being about European qualification? If he was worried about the quality of opposition he would have accepted Burnleys offer already and play in the EPL and is passed playing two competitive games a week. Yes, we lost a game of football but it has been a positive season and we will never win every cup we play in!

How can you say that Wilson was crap? He was brilliant yesterday and Kiernan was completely let down by Tavs time and time again. Tav should be moved up into RW position as he has zero capability to defend. he alone cost us the first and the last goal. Hats off to the keeper that nobody rated who kept us in that game. Fods/ Zelalem/ Wilson and Miller were the only players who got pass marks yesterday. Warbs- Terrible decision taking Zelalem off. Best game he has had for us.

I agree that Zalelem played our best game he has played in Gers Jersey. I really don't know what Shields brings to the party he has came on for 30 mins in 34 games this season and has had a positive impact in very little of these games.
I thought Danny Wilson was our best defender yesterday btw
For me not playing for 3 weeks really affected us, I know we haven't been great since Celtic win but our usual crisp passing was woeful, we looked so tired and had little sharpness, it was no coincidence they scored right at the start and the end.
Better team won the match and as dissapointed as I am I think not being in Europe will help our league campaign.
Still been a great season and as always proud to be a Rangers Fan 🔴⚪️🔵.

I thought our entire defence was poor, no defending whatsoever. Only Zalelem played well in midfield and McKay was like the invisible man! Up front Waghorn was not match fit but we had no one on the bench to bring on! Major remedial surgery is now required and that team lacks leadership on the park. We need to do everything we can to get Barton and then look to find a couple of lenders in the Butcher, Gough mould.
As for players from America or anywhere else we need a class midfield player and a striker that can replace Miller. No easy task!

Zalelem done nothing but pass the ball on he is a nobody. Not once in the entire game did he make a difference. Another anonymous performance. The two players you should blame for yesterday are Tav for letting Stokes shove him out the way for the second and Haliday for letting Gray get that header unchallenged. that's what cost us yesterday not the centre halves.

Well said Theglasgowranger, I saw it coming to be honest. It hurts however the players and staff need to learn from our weaknesses, which are blatantly obvious for all to see, and hopefully we'll be stronger next year as a result! On another note, thankfully Hibs won't have another big day out for another 100 years after that showing from their cretinous following!

Watch it back. Danny Wilson didn't put a foot wrong. I'd stick with him despite some dodgy showings this year. Think I'm done with Kiernan now. Wilson can look shaky, Kiernan makes absolute howlers. Never seen defending like it for Stokes first. My Gran could skin Tav.

Think every1 is being a bit hard on the team here. Yes there were some poor individual performances but considering we only had 5 on the bench showed exactly how little a team we have. Kiernon was dreadful for the first goal. He basically got out of stokes way and showed him the net. 3Rd goal should have never have happened. Corner came from our attack with nick Clark loosing controll of the ball and giving them a cheap throw in. We need penetration. Look at the possession. 60 percent with 3 shots on goal. That's simply not good enough. But as I said we were all hard on them. We will be better next year and will continue to get better every year. Good ol days are coming back.

Zalalem is on a different level of football from most of the others. His failings are that the other players don't read the game the same way as him. He will be a great player. Miller was different class, Wilson was terrific. Waghorn out of touch and fitness. Mackay was none existent. The depth of the squad was a real issue.

I've personally had enough of the danny Wilson criticism he's played well all season and yes been covering kiernans arse. he can pass the ball and defend if he was playing next to a proper sweeper i. e amo, bougherra, weir he'd be a top class defender. were better off out of Europe gives us time to concentrate on the league. c'mon the gets.
