Bring back Boyd, if McCoist does not get on with him he should not be in the job, Rangers should come FIRST not personal feelings, we need a goal scorer .

Believable16 Unbelievable12

Tottaly agree mate no1 is bigger than the club i think celtic away to hearts on february the 8th is a massive game for both celtic and rangers if celtic dont drop points in that game i dont see them dropping points before the next old firm game

Agree9 Disagree3

Totally agree with you mate i posted earlier with 3 valid point regarding our club and 1 of them covered mccoist and his fall outs with players in our current squad but ed never posted it for sum reason {Ed014's Note - If I knew who you were I could answer you.I have deleted alot of posts using unacceptable words and phrases tonight.

Agree1 Disagree4

Even is Celtic do drop points Rangers will drop even more.

Agree14 Disagree6

There game away to Hearts might have been a bit more difficult if Ian Black wasnt banned for that game

a player who i think would do a job for us

Agree3 Disagree8

I'm sure you would have difficulty convincing Alex Ferguson that your argument is correct. Too many quality players to list have been shown the door at Man U. However, I'm sure their we're some fools who wanted ferguson out when he sold beckham

Agree1 Disagree6

Ally just needs time, it will all come good, he's building a good team,

does anyone know what is happening with "matt mckay".this guy was flying before he came to us and was not given a chance,3 or 4 game and then he's not even on the bench.what is happening.somethings not write.

Believable14 Unbelievable3

Australian player of the year and a regular for their national team. Yet he can't get a game in front of Wallace at left mid. Wallace who is a left back with no pace and no creative spark what so ever.
There has to be some problem.

Agree12 Disagree4

He's probley getting his suitcase ready for aussies next friendly match.

Agree3 Disagree6

Aye, he's pi55! Trying to get him out but so far he rejected 2 offers!

Agree3 Disagree7

He's p*** ? who signed him then? and Bedoya and Ortiz.....if Ally signed these 3, then he should walk.

Agree7 Disagree3

Yes! He's pi55! Should follow Glasgow celtics scouting system..... They've found some real gems in the last 2 yrs

Agree7 Disagree5

Aye maybe some gems but some right bumpers aswell, big fan, the Mexican, daryl Murphy, the guy from morrcco, josh Thomson, bandrea, given samaras a new deal, there has been plenty of howlers from the east end aswell

Agree8 Disagree3

Agree with the last poster celtics scouting system is miles ahead of our c'mon john brown sounds like its old pals act jobs for the boys type thing at ibrox...

Agree6 Disagree2

Stop talking nonesense.Mcoist, Brown and murray have identified plenty of targets and have been ignored fact. Bedoya mackay and ortiz were signed because we didn't get any of allys top targets fact. Do people believe that after years of winning trophys as player and coach that Mcoist doesn't have a clue? The chairman and gordon smith need to back him and the fans should be gratefull he has taken the job. Keep believing and stop acting like the beggers

Agree4 Disagree1

Thats not in the last two years Thompson Murphy they were done deals with mowbray

Agree0 Disagree1

Jeeze how many more times WE HAVE NO MONEY!! identify who you like but scouts know the player budget n its up to them to tap into a market

Agree0 Disagree2

I think mckay and bedoya were signed to raise rangers profile in both australia and america. this has obviously backfired, but i do agree that celtic have made some cracking signings like bangura 2.2 million and juarez 4 million, hardly good business jamie rfc

Agree3 Disagree0

Australian Celtic supporter here. Just thought I'd let you know that "australian player of the year" is no mean feat...the a-league down here is crap. I mean utter crap. They have tried to fix it up in the last few years but McKay wasn't even the best player at brisbane. I was baffled when all the rangers fans were excited at signing him. The reason he hasn't been played is cos he is not good enough. Not rubbish, good ordinary player but I would say the a-league would be the equivalent of Scottish first division. Just giving an insight

Agree4 Disagree2

Aye celtic may have found a couple of 'gems' as you put it.........................how many LUMPS of coal did they find 1st though.

Agree2 Disagree0

At least you have had the opportunity to make up your mind. Yet to see him get a chance, in a meaningful game.

Agree1 Disagree0

True bangura is crap, but Juarez is quality! Unfortunately he can't get in the team berceuse of players ahead of him! And he was nowhere near 4mill! Use idiots should know not to believe the press!

Agree3 Disagree1

why did ally sign this boy celik.if there is very little money available "why" spend what little there is on a midfielder.from what i have read this boy will cost nearly £250 grand in compensation.every penny should be have been spent on a striker, the more spent the better the player you get. ger4life

Believable5 Unbelievable1

I think Lee Wallace was a 'funny one' as well.....paying that a left back.....we could have spent the money in other area's.
AG the Realist

Agree1 Disagree6

Lee wallace was bought as papac replacement for nxt year as he's off hme nxt year. n he only cost 800 grand nt 1.5 million

Agree4 Disagree5

Still 800k owed to hearts so the fee musta been bigger

Agree7 Disagree0

Rangers have not paid £250k for Celik in a transfer fee, it is a compensation payment. Given Whyte's record this will not get paid and will end up in the courts and drag on for months. He's a sneaky barsteward.

Agree5 Disagree2

I think wat allys has done is he will play celik behind jelavic until naisy and the gazelle are back, then he will revert him to midfield

Agree2 Disagree0

Well this boy celik is only 21 and if he is any good then when it comes to sell him we will get way more than 250k.

Ally was asked after game today why rangers are poor at ibrox. Hi reply was " I don't know but if I did I would fix it". This tells u all you need to know. Clueless, and by the way ally the away results are just as bad.
Johnger

Believable10 Unbelievable8

I have been shot down in flames on here for saying that ally must go. we have had to endure embarassment in europe and in the league cup, throw away the title(which we will) simple reason our players are poor and i have little faith in ally in terms of the transfer market. i take my hat off to the tens of thousands of passionate rangers fans who turn up at ibrox every other week because to be quite frank u could not pay me to go and watch this current rangers side. one radio punter described aberdeen as very comfortable in todays game. that just says it all! i regard myself as a fair minded rangers fan but i just can't see us improving while ally is our manager

Agree15 Disagree4

Dont take your hat off to us Rangers fans who turn up every week, that's what we do and will continue to do . I dont know why you are on here posting are you a Rangers fan or one of these fakes who turn up when things are going well then stay away when things not so good ( 4 Points behind only ) be honest with yourself and pick a sport and player or team and stick with it through good and bad. you will learn a lot about yourself . But promise me one thing and dont turn up at Ibrox on the last day of the season when we parade the championship to the clubs LOYAL supporters.

Agree11 Disagree9

I have most probably attended more games than you over the years and up until two years ago had a season ticket for 17 years. unlike yourself i don't buy into all this nonsense about not being a true loyal fan unless you go to the games. i plough a fortune into the club every year in merchandise for me and my kids but the FACT is that the football is absolutely dire and i haven't see a descent rangers team who play football for years. you are either blinded or dilussional if you believe for one second that we will win 4 in a row. the team is shocking and more points will be dropped in coming weeks cause the players are minse

Agree11 Disagree3

Why Rangers are POOR at Ibrox? POOR, you're bl00dy skint.

Agree4 Disagree1

The only thing gonna be displayed at ipox at the end of the season will be fat sallys p45, a winding up order and an empty trophy cabinet. MIND THAT GAP LMFAO

Agree6 Disagree3

Always funny the way followers of "ra sellick" have the time to be looking at rangers sites rather than their own sites, enjoy the gloating cos i suppose thats all you have to comfort yourself with the fact that Ceptic are at best average side, only got in the Europa League due to Sion getting the boot and look pretty shaky themselves at times. So enjoy the mind the gap digs, enjoy the wisecracks about the taxman cos it wont make your team Barcelona

Agree4 Disagree0

Somebody needs to spell correctly before arguments I,d say!but i will say this I gave up my season ticket end of last year as I felt I was,nt getting value for my money!they won the flag but there is very little quality in the team and what has happened since was seen by myself and many others who will do theit talking in whatever way they see fit.A football club in transit is how I,d describe rangers at the moment out with the old and new it seems ..ali mac is trying to do something but before you go comparing him with others hes had both his hands tied behind his back and followed one of rangers top men when he took over!so for a rookie which he is I think everybody needs to persevere a bit longer with him..we have never been a club who shipped out managers willy nilly apart from le guen of course.. Bazil Brush 11.

Agree0 Disagree4

A true fan supports his team wether they're team is top of the league or bottom of the league, even relegated. There's alot of fans in the World who support these type of teams and you've got to take your hat off to them. We have no divine right to win the league and cups every year so take the rough with the smooth

Agree3 Disagree1

A true fan also has to be honest and tell it as it is. our team is deprived of any quality and i can't name a single player in this current side who is any more then average. it is the poorest rangers team in years and ally mccoist is a carbon copy of walter- DULL BORING AND PREDICTABLE

Agree4 Disagree0

I was at the game on saturday my 1st for a while due to work commitments as i work weekends i will admit we werent great but imo were alot better going forward we just cant seem to take our chances healy is too small to be lobbing long balls up to and as to the posts about being a loyal fan just because i dont go to games every week does that make me less entitled to turn enjoy my teams sucess just because i dont go to every game?

Rangers representatives were at Glasgow airport this afternoon collecting someone for talks... Sorry i don't have any names yet, but i guess the papers will confirm the identity in the morning.

Believable3 Unbelievable6

Fat tony fae the simpsons ,looking for a loan

Agree9 Disagree2

Probley Gordon smith away on holiday again

Agree5 Disagree1

Must have been an internal,my mate works on international arrivals n he woulda seen a player.

Agree1 Disagree4

Even messi couldn't improve this current crop

Agree2 Disagree6

Can tell you John brown our head coach was in Rome 2 day dunno y though but he told me last night.

Agree0 Disagree6

I thought Brown was now a scout

Agree3 Disagree2

Sorry ment head scout not coach.

Agree1 Disagree1

Could be Luigi Bruins there collecting coming for trial

i ve heard that Rangers and West ham have been in contact with each other since thursday about jelavic.
also Gordon Smith became involved yesterday and enquired about Freddie Sears(on loan) being part of the deal .Ed have you any knowledge of this? {Ed014's Note - I've heard about talks with West Ham but nothing about Sears.

Believable7 Unbelievable1

"everbody" agree's that we need a striker a.s.a.p, so why do we not look to south america.other clubs can find players out there for little money,so why not us.we need to look at our scouting network and employ someone out there to scout for us.

Believable10 Unbelievable1

Why not look closer to home fared el alagui .guy is scoring goals for fun every week and wouldnt cost a lot

Agree9 Disagree6

Would love to see the boy from falkirk at ibrox but im sure i read he wants a move down south

Agree4 Disagree3

Can't get work permits for south American player unless they have Spanish passports!! God do you get out o glesga?

Agree3 Disagree1

Crawley town have offered 60k.....that says it all

Agree4 Disagree0

There is loads of players in south america with dual nationality,so to say we can`t get them is not true.

Agree4 Disagree1

21 Jan 2012 22:09:16
Have been told today by a ex rangers player that jelavic will be sold by the end of next week for £7 million to either QPR or Sunderland. We were looking at holt but he has no interest in leaving the epl to join a team in the spl, so our top target now is luciano becchio and we are also interested in ryan stevenson from hearts( god knows why)

Believable8 Unbelievable9

What a load of cobblers

Agree6 Disagree4

21 Jan 2012 21:54:58
What's going on at rangers we badly need a striker but were taking a right back and midfielder on trial . What happens when Jelavic leaves were left with healy and he's fcking pish not good anoth sort it out mcoist before its to late and ur out a job.

Believable4 Unbelievable3

That won't happen mate don't worry. If he leaves, it'll be in time for us to replace him and with descent money for him.

Agree1 Disagree8

Don't agree that we will replace him with anyone above average,we will have to replace Healy as well,he's one of the worst strikers I've seen at ibrox.if were so skint I would rather not buy anyone and just play the young players there's no point in buying more and more s**te.

Agree10 Disagree0

21 Jan 2012 20:12:02
george boyd moving to brighton for £1.5m i think he would have been a great buy for rangers ..i think the scouting at ibrox is a joke ... neil murray head scout ffs thats part of the problem at ibrox money is tight and this guy is telling us to look at sh***

Believable14 Unbelievable5

Yea i agree he would be good for rangers but it's a shame since u just wrote he's moving to brighton...^^

Agree4 Disagree1

Dont know about george boyd, but we defo need to bring back his name sake. Would take kris boyd back in a heart beat after todays performance. With the chances we had today he would have had a hat trick.

Big Sqaash.

Agree7 Disagree6

We have just signed Mervan selik, who I think issimilar to George boyd, only with pace. But I do agree George boyd is a smashing player, if he had pace he would be in th EPL.

Agree5 Disagree2

Come on SUPPORT the Teddy Bears ffs.....grrrrrrr get a grip

Agree6 Disagree3

Did you not read andy goram in the sun couple of weeks ago saying Rangers scouts come back with names only to be told cant afford them and a shake of the head, as in try again this time affordable targets. Gutting i know how do you think Ally feels getting 3rd n 4th choice targets to work with. Difficult times just now to say the least and i'd rather be prudent with our money and not forget our tax problems where we dont want to be seen as out splashing the cash as we have previously done and cause any further animosity with HMRC. Once on level footing and no tax noose round our neck then would be proper time to invest wee bit heavier again, until such times all we can do is support the team as much as possible same as we always do.... LARKYELLIS

Agree3 Disagree1

I agree, george boyd is a proven goalscorer with good linkup play and wouldn't cost a great deal. also think we should have pushed the boat out for chris eagles who would have given us some much needed flair to at least keep us supporters awake.

Agree2 Disagree1

21 Jan 2012 20:08:19
Why does everyone think jelly is world class?
I would be amazed if Liverpool came in for him, think west ham and championship is his level.
Look at the strikers in the SPL, he couldnt lace their boots. 6m is about the best we could get.
How do we replace him? Same way we replaced miller and Boyd.
Were skint and now were up against it, that's when we get the best out of the team, we bit more fight is required, Celtic robbed st mirren today but still got the points, time we started grinding out results again before its too late.
Tom.

Believable13 Unbelievable7

Celtic didnt rob anybody, they ground it out n even had a good goal chalked off and a penalty denied! we got our own worries mate

Agree13 Disagree6

Sick hearing the skint card being played, yous ave spent more than celtic this season!

Agree10 Disagree7

Miller Boyd and Novo cost just over 3 million Pounds, to replace them we bought Healy Lafferty Beattie and then Jelavic, at a cost of 8.5 Million - we don't have 300,000 to spend on a guy that knows the SPL inside out and who scored again today, so I have no idea how we are going to replace the strikeforce we have.

Pete

Agree6 Disagree1

" stikers in the spl" ? - think you mean the EPL.
Getting a bit paranoid aren't you as your level of desperation increases day by day

Agree1 Disagree3

I'm also surprised that the likes of liverpool are interested in jelavic who is a very average player however liverpool were daft enough to pay 35m for carroll who isn't worth a tenth of that fee.

Agree4 Disagree2

Nobody said jelavic is world class. But if celtic are getting offered in the region of 10m for hooper then thats the kind of transfer fee we should be holding out for. The stats show that jelavic and hooper have exactly the same goal to games ratio. So why should rangers take anything but the 10m for jelavic.

Agree3 Disagree1

21 Jan 2012 19:59:00
Bad news - Jelavic fee agreed with West Ham. 3M up front with add ons taking it up to a potential 6.5M based on appearances and Jelavic's role in getting West Ham get promoted.

Believable13 Unbelievable23

Nope, rubbish. Never believe that gash. Don't even know were to start pokin holes in that. Seriously mate fk off n stop worrying fans.

Agree10 Disagree5

I think thats a joke TBH so what if they dont get promoted we dont get the add ons we should have 6m the now with add ons if they go up

Agree5 Disagree1

He has already said he isn't going to a championship club he's holding out for liverpool or other premier league club

Agree5 Disagree6

Doubt we'd take anything less than 6.5 mill up front after the offer that was rejected from leicster in the summer !

Agree6 Disagree6

One minute west ham. nxt liverpool. one at the top end of the epl n the nxt is in the championship. bit odd tbh.

Agree3 Disagree1

I dont think there is much interest in jelavic i think its just aload of crap to try and sell a player is not as good as people think and is playing poorly

Agree1 Disagree1

21 Jan 2012 19:11:06
We are doing it the wrong way round ally should be numb 2 with durrant manager everyone nos durrantys the one with the football brain

Believable6 Unbelievable20

Yea he done great when he had a chance eh?

Agree11 Disagree4

Durrant is thick as mince

Agree10 Disagree8

What chance was that you fool ! A cup game wi le guens players to choose from! Sum chance!

Agree6 Disagree9

And who picked out ortiz as a good signing yes mr durrant

I can not believe so called gers fans askin for super Ally to be sacked he's holding our club together right now and needs our backing.

Believable21 Unbelievable16

So much for follow follow

Agree11 Disagree7

Your having a laugh he has signed 3 players who can't even get into a terrible squad and when buying very average lb in Wallace the price jumped from 300000 to 1.4m when he already has a half decent lb in Papac I personally don't care if ally is sacked cause he's just a small part in a very worrying situation going on at ibrox I fear the worst

Agree13 Disagree6

Glory hunters, they were happy to cram into the stadium when the league was won last season yet the blue seats were visible in the last 10 mins today.

james rfc 1980

Agree10 Disagree4

All the fair weather supporter are coming out now, if you want bad times try the 70"s

Agree8 Disagree3

Holding the club together ! he is the manager responsible for team selection and tactics he also identifies transfer targets , so if I was him I would be worried.

Agree8 Disagree3

Yeah, those of us who remember the late 70's early 80's know that what is happening now on the park at least, is nothing in comparison to what is happening now.

Pete

Agree0 Disagree2

The 2 best games we have played in the last 2 months were with John fleck in the team, but Ally wanted rid.

Agree5 Disagree3

Gordon Smith ideintifies the transfer targets

Agree2 Disagree1

Did you pay 500 pound for a season book in the early 80s?

Agree3 Disagree1

Reall ally holding club together f*ck. He isnt nearly good enough to manage rangers we need someone with proven ability to manage a club of rangers size.

Agree2 Disagree0

21 Jan 2012 18:41:25
can someone please tell tell us what is going on with matt mckay.the guy is not even getting in the squad at a time when we a so badly need some quality to help get goals.you don't come to rangers as australian player of the year and become a bad player overnight.IT'S TIME FOR THE TRUTH !!.

Believable15 Unbelievable0

Maybe he isnt quality ally sees him day in day out at murray park remember!

Agree6 Disagree9

Mccoist thinks he is to small & lightweight to play centre mid!

PTE

Agree1 Disagree2

We all saw mckay against liverpool in a gers shirt and imo was the best player on the park.creative, pacy and deffo not scared to get stuck in.exactly what we seem to be missing right now.something deffo stinks here and we deserve to know the truth.

Agree10 Disagree0

Many people have already said he is a good player, so give him a run see what he can do, then the fans can at least pass judgement, the way it is the now we will never know, but this seems to be the case with a few players and if Ally is saying they are no better than what is on the park, we are in major sh-t

Agree5 Disagree1

From a very good source . He is one in from left as a centre mid . Ally is playing him as a number 10 . Not his position . Ally also says he's too light and small. FFS I hope messi is not available ! And before you ask this is from a former Gers SKIPper

Agree2 Disagree0

IMO this was a business stunt to get Aussie fans interested in Rangers same with Bedoya to get the Americans interested along with the more successful Bocanegra (and talk of some USA TV deal).

Celtic have been doing this for seasons in the Asian market but most of theirs have worked out to at least some extent - Nakamura and Ki in particular with the others (Cha, Mizuno) in the main bit-part but still popular enough to garner interest and bought for nada/pennies anyway. It's a good idea and they're doing the same thing with South America (Santos Laguna club link, Juarez, Izaguirre) and Africa (Wanyama, Ibrahim, an African Celtic club link and numerous unsuccessfully signed African targets) but their signings are shrewd and rarely just rot in the reserves.

If he was POTY he can't be that bad but the coaches see him every day in training so at the end of the day there must be something not right but truth is Ally McCoist probably wasn't fully responsible for signing him.

Agree0 Disagree1

What I don't get is why are no journalists asking McCoist, "why isn't Mckay even in your squad after you put so much effort in to get him hear"?

It wasn't exactly a smooth transfer with the effort put in to get a Visa for the lad. I agree what's going on with him? :s

Agree4 Disagree1

Mckay isn't a centre mid. he plays left back or left wing for the US nationsl team

Agree1 Disagree6

US National team? Come on mate, he's Australian. Know your own team... But yeah, I agree, we never seem to have any journalists asking questions on the matter, would be an interesting answer im sure.

Agree1 Disagree0

Its rangers, u dont here journos asking questions or printing stories about the tax case, the biggest football story in scotland in recent years!! why? {Ed001's Note - you do realise it is going through a court case and they don't have any details to discuss it right? Until something actually happens, there will be nothing to discuss. All you have currently is made up nonsense from farcical blogs preying on those looking to read doom and gloom stories. No one knows anything, no one will know anything until the court case concludes and an announcement is made.}

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jan 2012 18:34:04
People are worrying too much. It's only a 4 point deficit, and septic are the masters of throwing away the league. Plenty points to play for. We need to get behind Ally. No matter what he is rangers through and through. As are we.

Believable16 Unbelievable17

You are wasting your time with the glory hunters on here mate. Some of them think we have a divine right to win every game. More people should practice what they preach- ie supporting.

Agree12 Disagree7

19 point turn around we are a bad team with no money and the Chairman will not put the money in to our great club and will destroy or history when we go in to administration

DougieRFC

Agree9 Disagree3

It wasnt white, blame murray. white saved us and i beleve he will sort out this situation. if white didnt buy rangers we would already be f****d. be a real supporter n cum on the teddy bears through thick n thin.

Agree9 Disagree4

True true if rangers end up in division three will all the glory hunters still support us. teady bear through n through

Agree6 Disagree1

We are all Salome kerkar

Agree3 Disagree9

Was more dick aadvocats fault. Murray just gave and gave to rangers. Dick didn't make the most of it. Bought old expensive players. Aw well a still have faith in ma team, mon the teddy bears.

Agree1 Disagree7

I think whyte doesnt want to back ally in the transfer window. I think hes holding out for his own choice of manager in the summer. Can see souness or billy davies as choices. just my opinion.

Agree10 Disagree4

Its Salim Kerkar not Salome ffs wish people would learn to spell

Agree2 Disagree0

21 Jan 2012 18:17:57
This transfer window needs scrapped the only players you get in jan are what wenger says " mercenaries who dint fight for the cause" any1 else agree

Believable7 Unbelievable9

That depends on the verdict from HMRC, if it goes against you then its clear Rangers had huge success as a result of corruption. Hardly complain about mercenaries when Rangers encouraged it for over a decade.

Agree9 Disagree5

No mate any player is better than the crap we have, ortiz edu, bedoya, mckay, healy u get my drift.

Agree4 Disagree3

Thats why guys like davis wont go in this window he wont fight for the cause.

Agree5 Disagree2

21 Jan 2012 18:10:39
theres talk of rangers buying holt. good player but to old wouldnt make any money back. i dont understand why rangers dont buy young decent players with a chance of them turning into good/great players. az we are a selling club theres money 2be made that way, total different ball game but look at arsenal a think the way they run there buisness is the right way buying young n cheap then selling for millions. we have a good coaching team so why not.

Believable9 Unbelievable6

I think the problem is the word buy. No team in the land will allow Rankgers to pay in instalments when you are likely to be in administration come March/April

Agree7 Disagree3

Africa is full of raw talent but you need someone who can see it and what has arrived at Rangers this year has proved we do not have anybody capable.B.Williamson should be able to pick out one or two as he will be right in the thick of it

Agree5 Disagree1

We have a good coaching team!!!! where do you see that?

Agree4 Disagree3

We see very little of any bloody coaching and scouting is a total sham as well

Agree6 Disagree0

True no team will let us buy but rangers should have got into buying young talent years ago instead of buying old players like beatie. celtic bought stokes for the same price.

Agree4 Disagree0

21 Jan 2012 17:59:01
So Mcoist thinks Kerker is better than Fleck who he let go on loan? Joke, guy has to go. You can say we've brought in bad players but our squad is still worth about 50 times that of Aberdeens

Believable12 Unbelievable9

Correct mate get mccoist out

Agree13 Disagree9

Oh dear, really cant wait for next season when Rangers are brought down to the same level as the rest of the SPL, Remember your star player today had to buy his own contract.

Agree12 Disagree4

Why does mccoist keep playing lee wallace in mid-field.it feels as if we are an attacking player down at the start of ever game.

Agree12 Disagree1

Kerker done really well today when he came on, i think its davis who has to go, and edu was man of the match for me today.

Agree16 Disagree4

Lets not forget ally tried to put kerkar on loan!

Agree6 Disagree2

Healy has to go, he is stinking, when wylde and kerkar came on and aluko played more off jelavic we looked more dangerous, same last week against st johnstone, ashame it took nearly 80 minutes to go that way

Agree8 Disagree2

21 Jan 2012 17:53:38
Mark Hughes IS interested in Jelavic, they obviously were not at Ibrox today, the big guy hasn't kicked a ball for us this season and he needs to go. The kissing the badge at Perth last week just patronises the fans and we need a strong striker / goal scorer to lead the line................... Santa, you still working ?? AndyPandy63

Believable11 Unbelievable6

17 goals this season, top rangers goalscorer, top SPL goalscorer, 3 goals in his last 3 games. not bad, huh?

Agree5 Disagree8

Got news for you- don t be too upset- santa is not real.

Agree4 Disagree4

Unbelievable. How many goals does Jelavic have already? He runs his heart out each game because McCoist won't play a decent support player, or a target man with him.
Boyd and Jelavic together could be awesome. Boyd's positioning was great, and Jelavic does all the work.

Agree8 Disagree5

How many penalties in that total?

Agree5 Disagree1

Boyd ? Lazy and not played for months, Jelavic is leaving and instead of going backward, we should be looking at young, strong and dynamic strikers, not carhorses. And I know santa isnae real ya total sphincter, but Rangers need help .......... NOTHING IS WON YET !

Agree3 Disagree3

Jelavic ran and ran today , the man is surrounded by donkeys and heally who is just a ass, cuckoo land if you think the big fella can do it all by himself

Agree4 Disagree3

The quickest he'll move this season will be when he f***s off down to Engerlund, and who will replace him ???

Agree4 Disagree1

Jelly played fantastic today won everything in the air had some magical touches just shows how far behind healy is jellys lay offs tricked him more than the bloody defenders think we played some great attacking football today but couldn't finish for toffee

legend or not, if ally wants to keep his job he needs to buck up his ideas. if he's going to draw with teams like st johnstone and aberdeen and get beat by teams like st mirren and falkirk he needs to win the old firm games ... 1/2 of them ... i'll give him to the end of the season

Believable19 Unbelievable4

...Not a great result today seems the sheep always up their game against us..i,m now of the opinion Big Jelavic would maybe be better away..firing long baws in his general direction aw day IS NOT the way to play games like these...when we were playing the ball on the deck we were pulling the sheep all over the place...we,d be better doing what we are good at and thats our passing game..Sone Aluko get a 9 out of 10 today....great wee player..anyhow we are now 4 points behind the mhanks.. time to get a couple of strikers in and take this league by the scruff of the neck...w a t p....

Agree6 Disagree11

Correct mate i want him to go now i never wanted him in the first place it showed in the cup games when walter smith was there he had to come down and help sally mccoist out def the worst team ive seen.

Agree5 Disagree4

I dont think sir alex would win the league with that team.. need 2 or 3 good players to win that league and thats no gonna happen... Teams not good enough

FauldsRFC

Agree8 Disagree2

Bottom line kerkar, edu, ortiz, bedoya, mckay, broadfoot, mcculloch, aint good enough wylde has only 1 foot wallace never a left mid and if we want to get players in we need to sell jelavic and bye players.we need to start fresh next season a new manager and get rid of the trash above even get the younger players on the park at least they will play for the jersey and there hungry.anyway the league is over hard to take but true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agree9 Disagree6

Time for you lot to be realistic. Rangers are a poor team in a poor league. European games show that, such a shame you are now trawling the bargain isles for a saviour, welcome to the land of everyone in the spl apart from your other cheek in the east end.

Agree9 Disagree2

Finances have dictated our position none of which is the supporters fault but the ego of mr murray who wanted european trophy and getting rid of ally is not an option, because, we cannot afford to pay him off, a better option would be a better scouting system in place, but as fans and supporters we have to trust the regime their is no choice bbblue

Agree1 Disagree4

We are a long way away from the rest of the SPL ... the league has been old firm dominated since 85'

Agree4 Disagree4

To the guy saying "The sheep always up there game against us". Get a grip, Aberdeen (correct name used to show maturity) have not won at Ibrox in over 20 years.

Jamesy Dell

Agree4 Disagree1

None of this is the supporters fault.Murray ran the club into the ground, and got himself a lot of publicity while doing so.Rangers done more for Murray than vice versa. However,CW has never had any intention of trying to take Rangers forward.Remember the last words Of Johnstone.Rangers fans,be very aware.Paul Murray tried to put together a £25m deal rather than see the club going to Whyte. These are facts,Since then, things have got worse.Whyte's an asset stripper.I don't know what his plan is but if he's reverting to type, then we're in big trouble. His history is littered with dissolved companies, unpaid tax etc.it's all there if you can be bothered looking.up in court for non payment to a roofing contractor.Same excuse, can't remember why I was disqualified,Rubbish,he knows but trying to be smart. He also has registered at least 2 dates of birth depending on which company he's dealing with at the time.Mistakes are made but do you forget your own DOB.If you're barred from being a company director,do you forget why,of course not.Whyte's a shrewd man,but he doesn't have the Rangers supporters feelings at heart. He'll put the club into administration or probably receivership. That's what suits him,not what we want.the next 3 or 4 weeks are pivotal regarding our clubs future. We may not have one,I hope I'm wrong.

Here's the thing no corners aberdeen score and in last twenty mins we get 13 corners and batter there goal left right and centre go figure .This rangers team is by far the worst I've ever seen in my 36 years and its only going to get worse no more for me thanks won't be renewing my season ticket .I'll always support my team but the product on the park is just no worth it .If we had played the whole game the way we finished it we would have won obviously mccoist can't motivate these guys .

Believable14 Unbelievable8

Very poor football long hoof to jelly and kerkar and no plan B,to be honest lucky to get a point wicked deflection

Agree9 Disagree3

Take it you live in Govan ? Yer home awfy early sunshine................

Agree2 Disagree1

"not renewing my season ticket", sorry pal, but that's not supporting your team!

Agree2 Disagree8

Worst team you've seen in 36 years, you must have missed more than you've seen because I've saw much worse than this team in my 40 years. Give your season ticket up because we need supporters pal through thick and thin. Rangers till I die

Agree6 Disagree6

The action all began with the removal of Healy and Wallace. Wylde and Kerkar stirred things up.
Healy is well past his sell by date, and should never start a match.

Agree3 Disagree4

Not re-newing your season ticket..... good pleased to hear it! we dont need fans like you at ibrox, next you will be saying "ally must go" " get souness in" and all the other rubbish the part time fans are saying... also I bet you were one of the fans who magically vanished ten mins before the end today shaking your head and dragging your petted lip all the way home...its 4 points nothing has been won yet ally will deliver and if he falls short so be it... through thick and thin is the way it should be watp!!

Agree3 Disagree3

Kerkar and wylde stirred things up? What exactly did wylde do apart from waste a couple of set pieces? You haven't a clue mate and neither does ally.

That was a disgrace - jelavic worth 8-10 mill that's a laugh.. I think we just blew anychance we had of winning this league. From 15 points behind that lot are now 5 clear how the f,ck did we let this happen

Believable14 Unbelievable3

4 points clear mensa

Agree9 Disagree2

Because we were lucky to be 15 points clear,if you ever thought that group of players were good enough to win a league title your kidding yourself, don't look forward to naismith being here to long cause other teams will take notice of how poor we have been since he got injuried.

Agree4 Disagree1

4 points behind, 14 games to go. Thank god your not in charge. Celtics form cannot continue but we do need to improve.

Support our team to 4 in a row

CJM

Agree5 Disagree12

Get a grip cjm the league is over

Agree9 Disagree7

How can celtics form not continue?

Agree10 Disagree5

Dnt worry bout celtics form cause ours will get worse thats the main worry we r hitting rock bottom here we need help now and mccoist must go cause we will not go forward with him in charge.

Agree8 Disagree2

The tims are 13-0 but when u look at some of the matches such as today at st mirren and when hearts missed a late penalty in the last minute , they were tight games that could have gone either way so i can't see celtic winning every game between now and the end of the season.

I have a grip mate, I'm realistic about things. We will see what happens in May,

CJM

Agree3 Disagree3

But thats the luck that wins u the league if and buts dnt celtic still got the 3 points we never end off

Agree2 Disagree1

WATP CJM, you tell them ......... Big Dave

Agree0 Disagree1

Yes you need luck to win a title but i am saying i can't see celtic wining every single game between now and the end of the season, not saying we will either but there are many twists and turns to come.

I choose to support the team through good times and bad , not moan and post rubbish on this site.

Liverpool in for Jelavic,on Clyde 1

Believable6 Unbelievable16

I fear if we lose jelavic.we rely on him to score our goals but he can`t do it all by himself.if whyte does not give mccoist money to buy a striker them the league is lost.TODAYS SCORE show that and if we do loss the league then there`s only one man to blame "CRAIG WHYTE",he buy`s the club for a £1 when is not willing to spend any money.i fear for our future with this guy in charge.

hi I would like to see rangers linked with billy sharp rather than holt he's for bottom side doncaster and has scored a few goal he's24/25 so has sell on value and has a 1.85 million buy clause in his contract probably asking alot with our lack of money had the moment just a suggestion.

Believable4 Unbelievable2

You would like to see us linked with Billy Sharp? What use is being linked with anyone?

But as I am a nice guy here you go .....

BREAKING NEWS! BREAKING NEWS! the mighty Glasgow Rangers are being linked with a move for Billy Sharp, the prolific goal scorer at Doncaster. Happy now?

Agree4 Disagree8

I love the sarcasm it suits you really least mines is realistic using the word linked than some of the ridiculous rumours you here but thank you, your a nice guy who has made my day lol :)

Agree2 Disagree1

The guy who wrote about the breaking news thing is an utter nob ! The guy was simply saying he would rather rangers were looking at billy sharp than grant holt!! i couldnt agree more, no resale value on holt at all and we really need to be buying players that can be resold for profit...
FauldsRFC

Agree8 Disagree1

Billy sharp wont come to rangers

Agree4 Disagree4

No chance of sharp he dznt want to uproot his family after his recent tragedy.

Agree1 Disagree1

I thought billy sharp moved to someone 1st week in jan ??

Agree0 Disagree0

Again what use is being linked with anyone?

Ally needs to keep his mouth shut about who we would like until he has confirmed signings, the Grant Holt move would be a joke, as said better players available for less cash. Billy Sharp continues to say he wont move until he feels the right club comes for him, right now do you think we are the right club?

...Oh and it is Knob not nob!

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't know why we haven't done more about Hamdi Salihi. The guy is a macine scoring goals at will an all round striker. We should snap him up soon. Even if we don't sell Jela. Plus this Holt signing seems bizare. The only three posibilities are: Rangers know more about the Jela bids than there letting on, that this is just another name that is being thrown around by the media or hopefully its that the tax case has gone better than we expected(hense andrew ellis getting involved with us).

Believable8 Unbelievable6

Why are we talking about 2mil for holt who is 30 when we could get salihi for 500,000 who is 27.This just doesn't make sense to me.Anyone else agree

Agree18 Disagree5

I was under the impression Andrew Ellis was already involved as it was him Whyte and Betts that formed the group that currently own rangers which is fronted by Whyte. I don't believe his non-exec role will have any underlying meanings

Agree5 Disagree5

He is a good goal scorer seen him play a few times and he good on ball and knows where net is scored for fun in championship and has scored a few this season in EPL think norwich would want a big fee for him tho 2-3m mabye?
WATP
BIG CRAIG

Agree1 Disagree1

Im more worried now ellis is involved.wznt he in the portsmouth consortium? he's also a property developer n ithink this is all linked to the G51 re-development.looks like admin was always the plan.

Agree4 Disagree2

I think 500,000 is a steal for someone as good as him and a much better option than Holt!

Agree5 Disagree0

If he does improve the area around Ibrox then it can only be a bonus

Agree5 Disagree2

I think the "developer / asset stripper" is more likely to destroy Murray park and use that land for developing homes at a far greater price than anything around Ibrox. This is just how I see his involvement. As for signings ? I'll believe it when I see it, we had a big enough nightmare in the summer window, Bears. AndyPandy63....... 'Mon the rangers today !

Agree3 Disagree1

Numpty, we don't own Murray park! Murray int holdings do and we just rent it off them. Love to see Craig whyte try that. Like everyone says he this he's that. At least he backed us try being a proper supporter u know FOLLOW FOLLOW,

Agree2 Disagree1

Murray Park is greenbelt land and as such cannot be used to redevelope. Ellis is here possibly as Whyte and his team are looking to redevelope ground outside and around Ibrox. It may actually be a very astute move to bring him in.

Agree3 Disagree2

Andrew Ellis will not put money into the cloud. He is an asset stripper who was chased out of numerous clubs in England for trying to sell the land under their feet.

Agree1 Disagree0

I cannot believe how we are all talkin crap about our great club. Lets just wait for the outcome of EBT .lets be more positive. The setting up of a London office with a dedicted international wordwide development strategy is a step in the right direction

NORWICH striker Grant Holt is Ally McCoist's No1 target to replace Nikica Jelavic if the Croatian is sold this month.
Hardman Holt has struggled to nail down a place in Paul Lambert's Canaries side since they won promotion to the Premiership.
And Gers boss McCoist is convinced he CAN land the 30-year-old if he's backed by owner Craig Whyte in a £2million swoop. Source - the sun
