awryt ed mate, any news on the greek and argentine and the aussie? {Ed039's Note - Expect some news tomorrow or the next day)

Believable13 Unbelievable7

And how do you plan to get work permits for non eu players.?

Agree1 Disagree0

Stella is half Italian. Going to take a wild stab in the dark and guess that Celeste also has a dual nationality.

Agree0 Disagree0

"And how do you plan to get work permits for non eu players.?"

WE dont plan to get work permits, WE shall leave that to the club to sort out, silly.

Agree0 Disagree0

The Aussie has an Italian passport!

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe they have eu passports.....
stg

Agree0 Disagree0

One is Greek, one has an Italian passport, not sure about the argie

Agree0 Disagree0

Ally was keen to get a bounce game organised this week to see the trialists play i.e. the German keeper, the Polish full back the Argentine and the Aussie. I think the Aussie and Argentinian have dual nationality i.e. EU passports.

Agree0 Disagree0

How does who plan?

Agree0 Disagree0

I guess in the same way we got a permit for Emilson...

Agree0 Disagree0

None EU players easy we will just ask Celtic
Ki Wanyawa Kayal Ibrahim Bangura.

Agree0 Disagree0

You apply for them simple as corby loyal w.a.t.p

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks mate but I think someone has probably thought of work permits!

Agree0 Disagree0

Sounds like the start of a bad joke. Do they walk into a bar?

Goians away on loan !

Wis only a matter of time

Believable33 Unbelievable6

BET HES GLAD TO ESCAPE dIV 3.

Agree1 Disagree0

Good luck tae ye big guy.

Agree4 Disagree0

At least the big man had the decency and integrity to turn out for us in div3, unlike so many others who turned and ran

Agree5 Disagree0

He's on LOAN, he WILL be back

Agree1 Disagree1

Only 1 year loan, be back next year after the league restructure.

Agree1 Disagree1

He was away weeks ago but he just never left

JG

Agree1 Disagree0

He looked like a weak link anywayz this season his heart wasnt in it tbh

Goian has left on loan to join Italian serie b club Spazia and Edu is on the verge of leaving to join Ipswich Town. Although not the best players to have ever graced the Ibrox turf. I would like to thank them for their efforts throughout their time at Rangers and for transferring their contracts over when others "so called Rangers men" didn't as it will allow for much needed funds to be received in the case of Edu and wages to be saved aswell.

Power Ranger

Believable42 Unbelievable16

Well said, goodluck to them.

Agree6 Disagree1

Looks like Edu may be going to Stoke according to coisty's interview on radio Scotland, honestly don't see him being a star in EPL tho

Agree0 Disagree2

Well said m8 at least they gave it a go

Agree3 Disagree1

Haha yeah they did but in all fairness i reckon goian woulda left is anyone actually came in for him, but good luck to him, remember he'll be back in a year!

Agree1 Disagree1

I never saw "never more than eight goals in a season for hibs" fletcher being "an epl star" either but there you go.

If their league was a tenth as good as it is over-rated it would certainly be some league.

Their arrogant journalists (the biggest joke is, many are Scots) dismissed Jelavic as: too slow for the epl and, technically good enough for the spl only. We all know how that one ended.

Stoke pride themselves on recruiting "athletes" instead of "footballers". Ness can watch the ball fly over his head, supposing they ever work out how to fix his significant medical issues and he gets a game.

Goian away to Spezia for a season-long loan.

This is probably a good thing for us in the long term - he plays football at a higher level for a year then comes back to us, hopefully, and then just has one more season against part-timers before we get into SFL1 then SPL (this is the perfect plan anyway!).

Source: Ally McCoist on Radio Scotland tonight

Believable16 Unbelievable11

There'd will be no recnsructuring anymore to allow you in. The sfa are fed up with the constant comments coming out of Ibrox and the negative comments about them and the spl. None of the sfl clubs are interested in forming an spl 2 and this would be necessary.

Agree2 Disagree2

OP here
Did you read what I said?! I never mentioned any reconstruction.

Agree1 Disagree0

I'm really confused here.I thought rangers did not want anything to do with SPL.Do
you or don't you.Make up your minds.

Agree1 Disagree2

Yeah goian will be frothing at the bit to come back. u been sitting to near your computer too long pal.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's funny how people read what they want to see....one more season against part timers before the first division...ie he is back for division two after being away on loan this season ( still keeping up )...then division one, then the SPL....is that reconstructed enough for you

Agree1 Disagree0

To 3 - You do realise each Rangers fan is entitled to their own opinion...
4 - Well a loan deal seems to mean he might want to come back. Why wouldn't he? Hopefully we'll be back where we belong within 3 seasons. He is owned by the most successful club in the world - an achievement he should be/ seems to be proud of ;)

Agree1 Disagree0

Everything is a higher level than the s***e McCoist plays, can't we send him on loan too ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Goian off to seria b team spezia for a one year loan....not bad news given his shaky start to the season IMO

Rangers sign former Lyon defender Sebastien Faure, 21, on a free agent after the French former International U20 left having not featured in the league, however he did play in the league cup there.
Still looking at Stella, Aussie player, and a good few others. 6 players signed now :)

Looking great!!
Also, why do people post absolute nonsense? what have they got to gain from it? "Oh I met Shagger on holiday in Turkey, he is coming back" and "Oh talk of the town is joe bloggs is signing from Southampton on loan" I really do not understand why people post nonsense.

WATP Stevemac

Believable30 Unbelievable15

Brought in to cover goian leaving for seria
b side spezia....div 3 in Scotland for div 2 in Italy shows a great deal of ambition ;)

Gotta agree with OP though, some of the rumours are outrageous...."went to the chippy and stood in the que with Lionel Messi who told me he was looking for a place in Glasgow as is signing on a 3 year deal with broadfoot moving to the camp neu" is just as likely {Ed039's Note - Bring back Snowie the dug)

Agree2 Disagree1

Its a rumour site buddy calm down, people are entitled to post a rumour just as much as the next person, at the end of the day everyone on the web see's the same information so theres got to be something to keep people reading!!

Agree0 Disagree0

I love how all the papers call him for Lyon player... Although the guy never actually got a game for them, don't get me wrong he's probs a decent wee player and reckon he's gona good future wi us jst hate how they try n big-up all these players we are looking at!

Agree0 Disagree0

Rumours r rumours but when there outrageous as mentioned no wonder they dont get posted

Agree1 Disagree0

Lyon were his employers, hence he was a lyon player.....pretty simple

Agree2 Disagree0

Brought in to cover goian leaving for seria
b side spezia....div 3 in Scotland for div 2 in Italy shows a great deal of ambition ;)

Division 4 in Scotland, you mean. I'm sure there are a few SPL teams who would struggle in Serie B.

Agree0 Disagree1

Yes I know this! The point I was trying to make is the tabloids try to make it sound like a much bigger signing than it is!

RANGERS have made their sixth new signing of the summer after French defender Sebastien Faure joined the club on a three-year deal subject to international clearance.

The former Lyon centre half arrives at Ibrox as a free agent after spending much of the last fortnight training with Ally McCoist's squad.

Faure sadly isn't in the squad for tonight's Ramsdens Cup tie at Falkirk but the club is hopeful he will be cleared to play at Berwick Rangers on Sunday in the Third Division.

A former French youth international, Faure came through Lyon's youth academy and progressed into their senior squad.

But although he did play for them in the French League Cup, he left the Stade de Gerland without making any appearances for them in his country's top flight.

For all that, he still has plenty of pedigree and was in Les Bleus' squad for the Under-20 World Cup last year in Colombia and helped them finish fourth.

Faure struggled with injuries last season as a broken toe hindered him at Lyon then caused problems in the second half of the campaign in a loan at Nantes after it seemed it had healed.

But he is fully fit now and has impressed Ally McCoist enough during his training stint with Gers to be given a chance.

Faure played in a bounce game against Hamilton Accies last week and showed some good touches in the win over the First Division side.

Now he will challenge for a place in McCoist's side after having a trial earlier this summer with English Championship side Leeds United.

would love to see thorgan hazard come in even if its a loan deal ..... but i think we would lose out on wages any thoughts ?

Believable7 Unbelievable22

Have you ever seen this boy play or do you just want him ecause his brother is Eden hazard

Agree1 Disagree0

Question: Why would Chelsea send a potential Champions League player out on loan to a team in the Scottish 3rd Division? Answer: They wouldn't. {Ed039's Note - The EPL now have an Under 21 league which will get these guys much needed experience, I think they will have a look at him there, or he is just there to keep his brother company? Either way he is not going anywhere)

Agree1 Disagree0

Yeah hazard is gonna come n play in div3 the only hazard we will see this season is daft post's like that or not signing a replacement for broadclubfoot, stop being silly and go give your wife some attention instead of gibbering total garbage... {Ed039's Note - Good idea, I havent spoken to her all night and I need a cup of tea)

Agree1 Disagree0

Wow now that would be a deal and a half!! but why stop at hazard? surely we could borrow big fernando for the berwick game and possibly ask frank if he's busy next thursday for the falkirk game eh.. lmao hazard in div3 mate i support the same team as you but your on a weird planet or something. {Ed039's Note - Not Eden Hazard, his younger brother who also signed for Chelsea)

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks for correcting me ed but i did read the post correctly, are you thinking i thought he actually was meaning eden? surely not ed. {Ed039's Note - You can see why I thought that when you mentioned Torres and Lampard, and not a couple of Chelsea's other fringe players)

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok ed sorry i should have mentioned the younger of the two brothers but the post was very silly indeed...problem solved, sorry again bud. {Ed039's Note - lol, its just a bit of banter mate)

Agree0 Disagree0

That joke saw nothing but tumble weed

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed edin hazard says his younger brother thorgan is gonna be a better player than him. I think there's also a brother that's about 12 him we may have a chance of signing.

Former Lyon defender Sebastien Faure has signed for Rangers and became the 6th summer signing

Believable17 Unbelievable8

Never played in the first team, all his football played in division 4

Agree0 Disagree0

Never played a 1st team game for them apart from in the cup, hope he offers something different than broadfoot, makes you wonder why he wants to play in the 3rd div though, if your a 21yr old french footballer with any ambition surely you would at least move to a club in a premier division, but i might be proved wrong!! welcome him with open arms

Agree0 Disagree0

3yr deal ------ watp!

Agree2 Disagree0

Hoping to be ready for Berwick Rangers. Does he really know what he's signed up for?

Any news on investment from Ashleigh it seems to have gone very quiet on the three billionaire investors.

Believable11 Unbelievable13

It's not going to be a groundbreaking investment, there won't be much to hear. The JJB at ibrox is now sports direct,, we will have this seasons new strips shortly.

Agree0 Disagree0

Read "The Scotsman"-JJB agreement has been ditched to make way for Sports Direct

Agree1 Disagree1

Ah,the billionaire count goes to three! So he invests Ł2 million, thats it.He will not be chucking any more at you.Does not really matter if he's a Trillionaire!

Agree0 Disagree0

The deal is done, Worth 5m to 10m per season.

Agree0 Disagree0

It would be fantastic if we won the ramsden cup....quote ally mccoist..... well in ally ,the 1st trophy in history is ALWAYS SPECIAL....

Agree1 Disagree0

Isn't it funny that the 'billionaire' statements have all gone quiet straight after the season ticket sales have been completed? I'm just saying, that's all.

Agree1 Disagree0

Who's Ashleigh ? Last tIme I looked his name was Mike Ashley ?
Just Saying that's all

Agree0 Disagree0

@the 3rd reply- whats your point?how much has desmond the billionaire spent over at breezeblock park? Not anymore than these potential investors are reported to be investing. Cheap remarks...how much have you ploughed into your club?1 ,2 or 3 million? judging on your dismissive attitude to these guys you must of put a lot of cash in?

Agree1 Disagree1

Breeze block park? What do you suggest stadiums should be made of? Every one I've been to is made of metal, brick, and breeze blocks. Although, Ibrox seems to contain a disproportionate amount of asbestos and moss-encrusted corrugated fibre-glass. It's also in need of serious repairs. The 'five star status' is gone.

Agree0 Disagree1

Haha everytime we do the bouncey at Celtic park I think it's gonna fall down ! Hell a good breeze and I reckon it could tumble.

went to turkey on holiday mcgregor only thhere till
we get back up to normal as he wants te be scotland goalie very soon gonna happen

Believable17 Unbelievable96

Complete tosh, Even if this had a hint of truth in it we wouldn't want nor be able to afford to bring that turncoat back. Let him rot in Turkey and not get paid when they lose! Alexanders loyal and deserves the spot! Just a Dreamer!
WATP Stevemac

Agree4 Disagree0

Aye very good

Agree2 Disagree0

Ok, so you go on holiday to a country 15 times the size of scotland with a population 12 times the size of ours and you just happened to bump int Greegs? The local shrooms must be blindin'. Either that or stay aff the gas.

Agree1 Disagree0

Yeah I was on holiday in Turkey too and I happened to bump in to McGregor I. The pudding shoppe in Istanbul, he was sipping some chi (Turkish for tea). He also said the same thing to me, I am only here until the Rangers are back in the top flight.

As McGregor got up to leave he put his hand on my shoulder and said Gecmis Olsun, arkadasim (may it pass quickly my friend in Turkish).

Get real mate, McGregor is gone, but he will still be Scotlands No1 even if he does play in Turkey, it didn't stop Kenny Miller did it.

Agree1 Disagree0

Haha doesnt work that way mate, he will never be welcome back at Ibrox

Agree1 Disagree0

In reply to this crap, we dont want him back! Wallace and mcculloch stayed and showed their true colours. Mcgregor done the same as the rest. Good ridance to them all

Agree2 Disagree0

McGregor can whistle imo.

Agree2 Disagree0

I think you might find he is Scotlands keeper.

Agree0 Disagree0

All i can say to this post is "LOL"

Agree1 Disagree0

Him and.the rest of.the turncoats can fluk off we dont want them back stay in turkey and rot

Agree2 Disagree0

Shagger was a top class keeper , sorry to say he was vastly over paid 24 k for playing in scotland just doesn't add up.
hes only did this for money and talking of money if he was that good a keeper why didn't any EPL clubs come and get him its not like they had to pay a transfer fee ?

the airport bear

Agree2 Disagree0

Not welcome back, if he and Davis and naisy were real rangers men they would have stayed and then got the transfer to move on, they would have got their move and the team would have benefited from a transfer fee. They robbed the bears and were too ready to jump ship. Fair play to Mo Edu wants away from Div 3 football but does the honorable thing and lets the club that has looked after him benefit (by club I mean Rangers family and not the old Ltd Company) Good luck Mo - a decent bloke

Agree2 Disagree0

We got 800 grand for davis did we not ??

Agree1 Disagree0

It's called integrity, Mo Edu has this in abundance, shame the so called "Rangersmen" who supported the team as a boy, did not have half as much, they might be more highly thought of.

Bill

Agree2 Disagree0

I tell't u he would just come back on the midnight express ! He'll probably go to celik if he did come back ? Attila

Agree0 Disagree0

Just back from monaco spoke to cw says he just waiting till get to spl before he comes back lmao

Agree2 Disagree0

So he will be back in 5 years then for that's got to be the least amount of time you may get back in spl

Agree0 Disagree1

To all those scabs who jumped ship when the going gets tough mccabe/ mcgregor etc **** off dont come back.

Agree2 Disagree0

Any links for the game tonight

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldn't want him back judas, ter's team

U lot really are at the neaderthol end of monkey to man !! VEGIEBHOY
