Would be good but I don't think Warburton is looking at them

Rangers won't complete any signings.until next week Rob kiernan and John eustace will be first to put pen to paper not sure we are even considering scott Allen but danny Wilson has been in dialogue with david weir since before they were appointed to rangers

I hope we are able to sign someone better than John eustace.

we have to be looking at someone that we can build a future round no a 35 year old.

John Eustace has been playing successfully at a far higher level than us for several years and is simply head and shoulders above ALL the dead-weight we have shed in terms of quality! Also, if you had bothered to listen to Warburton himself, he clearly stated that we need a mixture of youth and experience! Experienced players are hard to attract in our sitiation so please expect Eustace to be joined by at least one more over 30.

Do you stop becoming an athlete in when you reach 35? No! Just look at Mayweather and stop hating. I would rather have a 60yo fat ronaldo that Ricky Foster because he at least once wasn't sh1te!

Fair enough Eustace is 35 but derby county missed him last season when he didn't play, our young players need an experienced player to help them my only problem is his comments after the friendly last year calling us a "pub team" a lot of folk won't get over that quickly

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jun 2015 10:03:47
A lot of people might not get over what he said quickly, but at the end of the day we all witnessed how poor we really were last season. He's just someone that came out and said it. We have to stop thinking about small things and move on!!!

Hard one to believe, but have heard from 3 differnt people that Shaun Maloney is coming back from America to join us, he maybe is one of them but would be a superb signing

Isn't he a Celtic fan and ex payer why would he join us form mls to Scottish championship he wouldn't put his Scotland chance in danger. This will never happen.

20 Jun 2015 16:03:25
first of all he would have to take wage cut, jeopardise his international career and join a club where the fans wouldn't take to him. Can't see it happening.

I will eat my hat if this comes true

cant see it but even though he played for them, his family are actually gers fans. no someone who knew him growing up

20 Jun 2015 19:48:47
nobody in their right mind would come back here from ammerica and play with us in the winter

Camoo I heard that also about 8 yrs ago. In fact I heard he was a gers fan. Hard to believe but the guy I spoke with back then actually knew him personally.

You said yourself weedav- "hard one to believe" so hard it appears nobody believes you. Great wee player though- good luck to him.

Is he still temporarily suspended due to failing a drug test?

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Jun 2015 17:27:29
Didn't he fail a drugs test recently? Don't need that, surely.

Newspaper reporting 35 year old Derby County Midfielder John Eustace has been targeted by Mark Warburton to become the new Captain of Rangers.

that's a joke of a signing imo, 35 injury prone and no sell on value wtf

20 Jun 2015 02:52:24
Davie weir was old when he joined and was a legend give it a rest, good holding midfielder something we need

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Jun 2015 06:18:29
He would actually be a good signing if we can make it happen. He was excellent at Derby last season until his injury. It's a free transfer and be woulf bring in a wealth of experience which would no doubt have a good impact on the younger players. Yes he is 35 but like I said its a free transfer so sell on value in this case isn't really an issue. Look at Davie Weir when we brought him in, he was 36 and people laughed.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Jun 2015 08:03:54
If he is willing to come north
The experience he has would be valuable if other signings are youngsters

Lee Wallace is my pick

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Jun 2015 08:24:57
Thats the same John Eustace that slagged us off after last years pre season game at Derby, he called us a Glasgow pub team & a laughing stock

20 Jun 2015 09:16:35
Well the way we played this season he was spot on with his assessment!

20 Jun 2015 10:03:55
Hard to have to say it, but he was right.

20 Jun 2015 10:30:55
Lets be honest he was totally right

20 Jun 2015 11:09:31
He was Defo right we where not good at all

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Jun 2015 11:14:12
Give him a chance. If we are going with youth we need a steady head. He is a leader something we have not had for years! Dave Weir. case closed

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Jun 2015 11:26:19
Steady head agree, but one who is not as old and one who knows the division and teams he is playing against would be a better option.

Agree1 Disagree0

20 Jun 2015 12:01:25
That twitter account is a parody apparently apparently. I think he will be a good addition for us. Derby fans are gutted that he has left. And could be a player that young murdoch could learn from
