If you got the info Weiss has been loaned out it wasn't from one of his tweets. I've been following him on twitter for ages and the last tweet was , can't tell u yet guys... U will find out very soon.

This offers a good insight into why Goodwillie was never going to be sold to us when we were offering money in installments... bank wanted it sharpish

"Dundee United's controlling Thompson family has decided that it can no longer continue to fund the Tannadice club with its own money.

It follows a decision by United's bankers that all the £2.8m transfer fee from the sale of David Goodwillie must go to reducing the club's debt.

United had hoped to add to their squad.

But one source at Tannadice told BBC Scotland that the club had been told they had to sell another player before the transfer window closes."

Source / BBC Sport

Believable10 Unbelievable3

Hope they get shut down

Agree0 Disagree0

How can they quote £2.8 million. when it was £2 million up front and 800.000 in add ons MAYBE,typical BBC (facts and figures ).

Seems like Vladi Weiss is going to Dynamo Kiev on loan, he'll be back at his beloved Rangers one day he's said so himself.

Good luck wee man, we'll follow follow your progress lol

Believable9 Unbelievable5

Gattuso said he would be back to but did that ever happen??

Agree0 Disagree0

I for one will not follow his progress,as far as im concerned he is like bartley, might love his time at the champions but will always follow the money.

Marcus Rosenberg will sign this week. No jokes.

Believable5 Unbelievable16

Been linked to us afew times, good striker. Don't know if it's true but he's hardly a wee name. Would be a good signing if he's the striker and if not then we'll wait and see bears

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance. Think he could definitely do a job for us though.

Arsenal are set to recall Kyle Bartley due to an injury crisis. Rangers will move immediately to replace him with a loan move for Danny Wilson.

Believable10 Unbelievable18

I believe Rangers have a clause that won't allow this. Arsenal will more likely buy. Of course I do not know for sure.

GDog
WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

Why recall an injured player lol

Agree0 Disagree0

More garbage from the darkside i suspect, bartley is going nowhere,if he goes down south he knows he wont get a game, besides all the flak the club are getting at the mo do you think they would entertain more bad publicity.

He was apparently flying out today, but nothing in DKiev website to say anything. But yes it looks like he's away but does want to play for the bears again. Apparently got a tattoo on left arm regarding the bears.

Well im following wiess and he aint said nothing yet so when he does i will beleive it.

RANGERS have opened up discussions with the powerful Fox Soccer Channel in America which could lead to tremendous opportunities in the USA for the Light Blues.

Interest in Rangers across the Atlantic has been massively boosted by the signing of national team captain Carlos Bocanegra and midfielder Alejandro Bedoya who have joined fellow countryman Mo Edu at Ibrox.

Now an exciting partnership with the Fox Soccer Channel is in the pipeline for Rangers which would hugely increase the profile across the United States and beyond.

The network, which originally launched as Fox Soccer World in 1997, now reaches over 33 million cable and satellite subscribers in the U.S. and the Caribbean. FSC also has distribution agreements with multiple system operators and DirecTV, Dish Network, AT&T, U-Verse and Verizon FiOS.

But that's not all. Plans are already in place for a US tour next summer and there are more initiatives scheduled as Rangers continue to explore exciting ways to grow the brand across the world.

Well done Mr Whyte & Ali Russell

Believable12 Unbelievable10

Normally, I'd be praising this but I'm finding it hard too because at the minute it's brandd, brand, brand with out a decent brand until we get a good squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats a good plan for the future for Rangers, weve got to look at these things now to make substancial amounts of money, as we may not have the champions league to help us out every year as its going to get tougher from 2012/13 season. Scottish Club football is in the worst state possible i hope Rangers and Celtic win there games with ease on thursday with Hearts regaining some pride with a low scoring game maybe grab a goal. Ryz1

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic being doing this for the last 7 years

Agree0 Disagree0

Well done whyte an russell ??

i couldnt give a toss about america i care about the here an now coz thats all that matter an he needs to get his finger oot an get a striker an a winger

Agree0 Disagree0

Well done Mr Whyte. Rangers have spoke about spreading the Rangers brand World wide for years now but have never really managed to make much of an impact. Mr Whyte has come, fairly quietly, mentioned a few things he was planning to do he has pretty much fulfilled them already. The guys a fox.

Agree0 Disagree0

Money supply in Scotland is limited so it is necessary to look at outside sources .rangers are in need of fresh finance sources and it is good business sense to increase cash flow into the club I commend the work of the new owner to build a solid foundation after the last 10xyears under sdm

Agree0 Disagree0

Well done whyte an russell ?

i couldnt give a toss about america i care about the here an now coz thats all that matter an he needs to get his finger oot an get a striker an a winger

well u do realise by getting extra money into rangers maybe just maybe u will be watching better players ya moron

Agree0 Disagree0

If this is true why doesnt Whyte spend some money on the main product , no point in trying to pedal this carp speculate to accumulate

Agree0 Disagree0

You can have the best brand in the world, but if you're product is guff..........
Time to splash the cash and get the product right first.

Agree0 Disagree0

Septic aren't on FSC I live in the states and watch FSC and Goltv all the time(when not watching on Rangerstv or and illegal site for obvious reasons) I think it's great te bring the Gers te the states via tv and maybe a summer tour te raise funds. Look at Man UTD and City fer that matter. They came over and made money hand over fist. Only problem i see is the tape delay for early kick offs. For me it's 4am and I get up fer every match to watch on Rangerstv but will FSC play them live?

Agree0 Disagree0

Seeing this as a negative is ridiculous , surely it can only help the team in the long run

Agree0 Disagree0

7 year, sellick? really? Wheres your deal with Fox Sports??

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm pretty sure that under spl rules any money from this is split with all spl teams. i'm sure that was the case when celtic's games were being shown in japan.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just to point out that the article does say that we are in initial discussions. known Whytes history since he came to Rangers initial discussions probably meant hes turned his TV over to fox soccer and thought i know what il do il stick a wee article on the website and talk more bulls**t without followin through. SHOW US YOUR CASH MR WHYTE

Agree0 Disagree0

If Ali Johnson, with his tiger woods-esque level of corporate sponsorship couldn't do it, then why can Craig White?

Hi ed is there any truth in the adam le fondre rumours ? {Ed001's Note - the only rumours I have heard regarding ALF are Celtic and a bunch of English League One sides. But I do know Rotherham have said they have at least ten scouts at every match watching him.}

Arsenal to recall Kyle Bartley, as they have no central defenders, so the loan spell will be terminted.

source Talk Sport

Believable7 Unbelievable16

What are they going play him when hes injured

Agree0 Disagree0

Though its a loan deal the hint in in the ~deal~ part cant recall a loan player from cross boarder deal

Agree0 Disagree0

Beyond Diaby, Arsenal's injuries are all listed as short-term on their website. Given that Bartley is also injured it is unlikely that they would terminate a season long loan when their website states that

Agree0 Disagree0

Naw.... you must be hearing things. I've got TalkSport on and Kyle Bartley has never been mentioned once

Agree0 Disagree0

What a pity Bartley is injured.

Agree0 Disagree0

They can put in a deal to recall a player but dont know if they ave done that

Agree0 Disagree0

Bartley is injured aswell

Agree0 Disagree0

It was briefly mentioned, dont know ins and outs of loan deals, but these things do happen from time to time,

Agree0 Disagree0

If Arsenal do recall Bartley, We will make money on him due to compensation. We have i think enough cover not to be too worried so losing bartley wouldn't be too sore, would be a shame on the lad though losing out twice due to injury

Hutton is up for sale at tottenham why don't wee put a bid in for him or will he cost to much no a don't think he will wee should put a bid in for him so wee don't need to watch Whitaker every week

Believable11 Unbelievable10

Brilliant use of grammar.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why all the hassle for whitt ? Some folk have short memories. One o gers best performers over the last few seasons

Agree0 Disagree0

Think his wages would be the major stumbling block .

Agree0 Disagree0

We have no money It's that simple.

Agree0 Disagree0

3 million should be enuf but wages will be the telling

Agree0 Disagree0

If whyte and smith are consistent they should offer spurs the same money they paid for him a la kenny miller

Agree0 Disagree0

''Brilliant use of grammar.'' Yes, he/she puts Wee Pat to shame

Just been told Adam Le Fondre is on his way up here next week and should be signed for the Aberdeen game

Believable6 Unbelievable16

Id love it if he signed for gers

Agree0 Disagree0

Its happening boys, just u wait

Agree0 Disagree0

If we are after him we better move fast before that other mob as i heard they were looking at him .....bigt

Agree0 Disagree0

He'd score 15 - 20 goals a season. He certainly has an eye for goal

Agree0 Disagree0

He is not coming to us but going to them

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope this is true. The guy is a goal machine, bagged another today.

Agree0 Disagree0

We all know what'll happen if its true, rangers will put in a bid worth half of his value then the manky mob will just come in and sign him,i heard lemon sayn in an interview his priority was a striker.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think he would do a job for us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wishful thinking,Celtic have already contacted Rotherham to be kept up to date with any transfer for him,but think he would be a good signing.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who told you,YOURSELF.

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic were interested in him way before we were so stop being paranoid saying the steal who we are in for. that is just the press finding out a player is coming to Scotland and linking both top clubs with him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good source guys the forward mccoist wants is former player John Claude darchvielle the deal will be done by tuesday

Believable5 Unbelievable21

He was 31 when he signed first time - unlikeley Plus, he couldn't finish

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope no...he must be able 34 now? and when he played for us he couldnt stay on his feet for 5min...there is much better than him out there

watp

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't be ridiculous

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont talk crap hes about 34 or 35 now ....bigt

Agree0 Disagree0

He must be about 34 by now. I wouldn't take him.
Fi scooby

Agree0 Disagree0

He is 36 now- Too old

Agree0 Disagree0

You know, weirdly enough, I don't remember John ever playing for us

Agree0 Disagree0

Op talking pish

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye right. And Cousin too I guess?

Agree0 Disagree0

He couldn't last for 90 minutes he always got taking of after 60 minutes so how long can he last now ten minutes

Agree0 Disagree0

Keep smoking the crack he is 36

Agree0 Disagree0

He was a good player for us. did well. but he has retired now i think

Agree0 Disagree0

Bring him back big John Claude is the bees knees

Agree0 Disagree0

Ma baws, why not just go for Seb Rozental.....next youll be hitting out wi Gordon Durie.

Believable0 Unbelievable8

Cheers ed am gonna buy him on fifa 11

Agree0 Disagree0

Napoli almost signed for for 7m in January. He wont be heading here

Agree0 Disagree0

Google it mate, has all the answers

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed a will no longer ask u what the score tomorrow will be coz u sed we would beat hearts 3-0 and dident then asked what will score be v malmo and u sed we will win 3-1 and we also dident ur a jinx a think we will get beat tomorrow and it will be the last straw for me with ally i love the man but rangers job just to big for him 2 wins 2 draws and 2 deffeats is not rangers standard

Can arsenal call bartley back?? They now have no centre halfs fit....

Believable15 Unbelievable3

Why bother...he isnt fit

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe it depends on the terms of the loan agreemant

Agree0 Disagree0

Im aware he isnt fit but do your homework he is only out a few games arsenal are in dire need for defenders. My question was can they.... Muppet

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes, but a breach of contract fee will have to be paid to Rangers FC for compensation.

Agree0 Disagree0

Clubs usually put a clause like this in loan agreements to cover themselves for player shortages. Rangers did it to Forfar by recalling the keeper.

Agree0 Disagree0

No he cant be recalled and he cant play n europe for them so wats the point

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes he can play in europe if u remember he never played for rangers in europe due to injury, u call urself a rangers fan. Get with the programme numpty, and talk sport just announced he is to be recalled contracted terminated and compensation paid to rangers fc.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bartley is injured too

Ally McCoist says 1 or 2 but Id be surprised if we don't get another 3 players in before the window closes. Or that is what we need anyway.

Another central midfielder would allow us to get McCulloch and Edu out the picture aswell as a winger and a striker.

Believable12 Unbelievable4

Have you forgot that we have just signed 2 central midfielders that along with davis makes three with edu as back up get a rid of McCulloch , ortiz is a ride sided player and needs to be allowed to play there so he stops tryin to cut in and getting nowhere , so the right thing to do would be to sign someone for the left would it not ? and no point in a winger better spending the money on an acomplished striker to partner jelavic

Agree0 Disagree0

We dont need anymore CM we have bedoya,,mckay,,ness,,hutton ..what we need is a left sided player with a bit of flare and a finisher to play along side jelavic ....bigt

Agree0 Disagree0

Quality left wingers are hard to come by though.

Weiss, Verhoek and Biseswar were all right sided.

It may be McCoist's intention to play a 4-3-3 system though and if this was the case there is not the same necessity to sign a left winger.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bedoya can play left or right and Mackay left

Agree0 Disagree0

Qaulity left wingers are hard to come by.which is why signing murphy would be wise.well that's the position I'd be playing him.....

Agree0 Disagree0

Sell Edu to QPR, get Livermore from Spurs on loan, sign Andreas Lasnik on a bosman to fill the left wing then blow the rest of the budget on a striker

Agree0 Disagree0

He'll sign 2 more centre halfs

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers taking daniel cousins back to bully the celtic defence and partner big jela watch this space

Agree0 Disagree0

Is tempelton not a left sided player? he has proved that he has talent. Id like to see him and a striker before the window closes

Agree0 Disagree0

Spend the money on a striker

Agree0 Disagree0

We have a left winger. Gregg Wylde. Dunkie Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

Under Smith- 2nd spell- the youth were finally getting a chance. Get the young guys playing regularly and stop spending money on guys from abroad who are in there twilight years.

Believable13 Unbelievable3

Have a word with yourself There is simply not the quality in Scotland. You cannot criticise any manager in Scotland for bringing in foreigners.

Agree0 Disagree0

You'll never win anything with kids, as someone once said :O

Agree0 Disagree0

Pish,
HOW can you say the guys aint good enough, look at the scotland squad that beat demark, alot of younger guys in there.
also you cant say they aint good enough as half them never get a chance to show what they can do. one or two games isnt good enough.
we ruin half our good young players by bringing in foreingners in thier later years and leaving youth on the bench.
with the state we are in i would prefer to see youth and building on that, yes a few older for exper.
look at the premiership manu had a average age of 24 last week with 4 teenagers.
MANAGERS DO RUIN YOUTH BY NOT GIVINING THEM THE BREAKS THEY SHOULD.
GIVE THE YOUTH A CHANCE THEY WILL PROVE YOU WRONG

Agree0 Disagree0

Got to agree, give the likes of Hutton, Ness etc a chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

Some daft replys...the youth should be played.completely stupid.mediocre foriegners.give them the belief and they WILL be...west enclosure(standing only)

Agree0 Disagree0

To the guy that said there is simply not the quality in Scotland, why do you think that is? Are the kids given a proper chance to show what they can do. Look at Ferguson, Advocaat saw he had potential and gave him a chance which he grabbed.

We will never know how good they are if they don t get a decent run out.

Agree0 Disagree0

Have a look at Motherwell and then try and tell me there's no young talent in Scotland ,Rangers have good players too,but the club is expected to pay millions for players or we get "fans" saying there not prepared to back the manager and owner

Agree0 Disagree0

The only reason they got a chance under Walter was because he had no other option, given cash he would never have used them, now we have a little money its time to boost the squad

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Aug 2011 12:37:29
i work in the reception of murray park murray davidson has been in here this mornin and heard the coaches on the fone and looks like jake livermore will be joining rangers on tuesday after the man united game on monday night season long loan and also been offered danny wilson and david ngog on loans from liverpool but mc coist would rather have ricardo fuller from stoke in a 1.2 million deal

Believable7 Unbelievable21

LOL, did you ACTUALLY hear the coach talking on the fone? lol, wot else did he say?

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah im sure you do lol....

Agree0 Disagree0

More stupid stories. We won't be going for Wilson end off, Ngog is of to Bolton for 3.5m (and he's only scored 13 in 94 appearances) plus Jake Livermore just played for Spurs against Hearts which means he is cup tied. Do a little research before you post.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wow. That's a lot of information. Are you the world eavesdropping champion by any chance?.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't believe for a second that the coaches would be discussing transfers on the phone within earshot of the receptionist

Agree0 Disagree0

I would sack your unloyal ar*e

Agree0 Disagree0

No wonder we have financial problems, the number of people who we have working at murray park is astonishing...

We are going for Le Fondre, Twitter is my source and is only 500k

Believable6 Unbelievable12

Would be a great buy hes a goalscorer ok its lower level in england but just look at hooper ...bigt

Agree0 Disagree0

I have been following the lower leagues in england for a few years now and Adam Le Fondre is as natural a goal scorer as you are going to find anywhere Anything less than a million could end up being the best piece of business since boumsong

Agree0 Disagree0

Wish rangers would go for him,he'd score for fun up here.

Agree0 Disagree0

He is a good wee player will score goals for fun le fondre and jelavic quite good

Agree0 Disagree0

There is only one Scottish team linked with le fondre and it is not us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic have had him watched for 2 seasons now, so I'd say if we were close to getting him they'd push harder. I don't think he'll join either but if he does it'll be Celtic

Agree0 Disagree0

I said on facebook yesterday they should go for him, maybe there listinin to me

Agree0 Disagree0

Apprently he's another Boyd though. Beyond lazy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Beyond lazy is true that why EPL are going near with at least 10 clubs chasing him he will be going for more than a million first bid will start the auction thats why its being left so late

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Aug 2011 11:35:45
i heard that ray wilkins will be manager
by january is this true do you think

Believable20 Unbelievable19

I think its rubbish as any information like that being in the open would just unsettle the team and manager. any talk of any other manager is just BS and folk stirring in my opinion.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nah next manager is butcher i'm telling you

Agree0 Disagree0

Butcher:L lol i think there better mangers out there than f***ing butcher f*** awff lol butcher tell me you're having a joke

Agree0 Disagree0

Whats up ith mccoist ffs give the man a chance every manager deserves a season.and to the guy its talking about butcher saying theres better managers out there if it wasnt for that man we would be two league titles down

Agree0 Disagree0

Butcher was a great rangers player, and is doing well at ict, some rangers fans need a reality check, they sound like they only started following rangers last week.i ,for one am sick of the drivel.back the manager, and back the team, aye, even through the tough times,or sod off.watp

Agree0 Disagree0

Billy Davis was apparently preffered choice of Whytey boy before he took over. Time will tell.

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard its butcher and wilkins. passion and attaking football

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope we get wilkins in, seen enough in this short time from mccoist to realise the time isnt right for him

Agree0 Disagree0

Before the takeover was complete, the strong rumour was Ray Wilkins Director of Football with Billy Davies as Manager....i think only the respect Craig Whyte has for McCoist for his magnificent contribition to Rangers over many years prevented this from happening. However we should all stop talking about this and back Ally, we will win the league again.....FACT

Agree0 Disagree0

This is a topic i have argued, sorry discussed with my mates over the last couple of months.
It was my opinion that when 'Coisty was known to be getting the job after "sir" walter he should bring in an assisstant with experience.
After Wilkins left chelsea i thought this would be an excellent oppertunity for the Gers to appoint him as number 2. The guy knows what we are all about and he has the experience.
It seems we are suffering with a jobs for the boys mentallity. Not that i don't rate Durranty, but maybe in a couple of years this is the job for him.
You should not be serving a managerial apprenticeship at a club the size of Rangers.

Agree0 Disagree0

Got tae give mccoist the time he needs.he and his team will build a great team if given a chance

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Aug 2011 11:54:44
Just back. Great trip, crap game Before all you Rangers no:1 fans c*m in your pants about another chance to rage at a "lesser" supporter because he DARES to complain, take a breath and listen... Ally made a tactical desicion that was wrong FACT then, and this is what caused the problems, he stood like a rabbit in headlights and had NO clue what to do... THAT'S the problem. We had a diddy team over the barrel and then somehow swapped places Unreal. I've have wandered home, like the rest of you, after a bad game, watched bad decisions cost us but NEVER seen us flap around in a game rudderless against a team of minnows. DONT lecture me about loyalty and love for the club, I'm a very worried bear This is Rangers, not a 1st devision club taking a punt on an untried rookie manager... I never heard it but I'm told even Billy Dodds said on the radio that Ally had f*cked up. We don't have the time or money to pi*s around here. Unless Ally sorts this out over the next 3 or 4 games, we NEED to act. By the way, we will beat that mob by 2 or 3 at Ibrox...

Believable13 Unbelievable6

By the way, we will beat that mob by 2 or 3 at Ibrox...

So no problem then.......................

Agree0 Disagree0

So no problem then.......................

Eh? did you not read the post we will beat them because they are crap. We should have beaten them over there but at Ibrox with the crowd behind the team not even Ally can f*ck that up The problem is the rest of the season and Allys lack of ability to lead his team...

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree with your comments mate, but like every club in Scotland we are being strangled by the sky tv cash being pumped into English football.
Surely the powers at be in Scotland should meet with sky and tell them they are killing Scottish football,it has to be in there interest to have a strong Scottish game by investing in the game here. We need to get back to grass roots I.e. Schools football in my opinion it started to go pair shaped years ago when teachers stopped taking Saturday games when they stopped paying them for that. If we don't address the problem Scottish football is finished.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bill struth was a rookie-Ally deserves his chance, dont you think a full side would of beaten maribor? yes i do-we had established players missing and new players in instead-who never makes a mistake? fergie makes them and will make more-ally will learn-its easy to say he got it wrong from the studio but booing from the stands doesnt work we are in transistion-face it we dont have the money or the pulling power for top players or managers, ally gets my support weve been in far worse shape than this before-remember everyone wanting walter out the 1st time round give ally a chance he`s a bear after all
steve the ger

Agree0 Disagree0

Back from where? Don't say the game cause I seen you in the pub on Thursday. I take it you listened to the game on the radio.

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree. A proper supporter wants to see the best for their club, if things aren't going right then changes must be made and if thats the management then so be it Remember no man is bigger than the club. I dont understand some fans willing to sit back and watch our club being run in such a way. We're taking a step backwards. The next few weeks could decide Allys fate. Unfortunately

Agree0 Disagree0

What happened when the septic got put out last season they might have been dissapointed but they stuck by there manager then they lost the league to a legend so for god sake the guy is underpressure n u awww want him oot a would like to see any of u try n do it n a bet uses cudnt when no one noes wats goin on with money n what whytes sayin

WE ARE THE PEOPLE N WE WELCOME THE CHASE :D

Agree0 Disagree0

To the post above - The season has hardly kicked off but you somehow know how its going to end You need to sell that ability, you will be a millionaire this time next year, being able to see the future like that, amazing.

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree, coistys out of his depth.

Agree0 Disagree0

Did anyone else think Naismith was gonna get himself red carded ? I think ally did the right thing Tho the team fell asleep n conceded two goals.

Struth wasnt experienced, Walter was sounesses

Agree0 Disagree0

He took naismith off cus he was being an idiot and wouldve ended up getting sent off..watching the game on telly you could see naismith was getting wound up. Get behind your team fs i dont care if we get knocked out of europa league and lose the league to ceptic ill still support my team cus im not a feckin glory hunter..if you support your team go to the marribor game and get behind the manager, get behind the team and then we'll see results. any fan that boos his team off the park is a disgrace

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't say the game cause I seen you in the pub on Thursday

Stalker...

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes ally made a mistake but its so easy to say that after the game. we may go threw we may not however allys building a new team and a new style of football get off his back glory hopers to turn on him already, i do question you as a loyal bear

Agree0 Disagree0

If the maribor manager had not highlighted this so called mistake half of u muppets would have not been any the wiser

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree with ur post didnt want ally as manager in the 1st place 2 wins out of 6 worst start ever for a gers manager he aint got a clue

T-Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

Get a grip give him time

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Aug 2011 10:44:46
It sounds to me after reading the jelavic bit that he may start to want a move sooner rather
than later he knows there is something wrong at the club and by the sounds of it the problem would seem to be that the players are unhappy..could it be that the few who are on long term deals are unhappy because they have worked out that it just increases their value as in terms of real estate
to the club in case of administration etc
they maybe realise that in that event the will be first out of the door(just speculation)b

Believable11 Unbelievable11

Maybe jelivic should concentrate on stop missing fecking sitters that cost us European progression, and get his head down and work hard to get things back on track

Doubt it, but it's also a win win situation for them. They sign a lucrative, long term contract with bigger wages and if the club does go into administration then they become free agents and are able to negotiate a new contract elsewhere, no doubt on even bigger wages.

I wouldn't read so much into it. All he is saying is the team isn't performing as he knows, and we all know it can.
We have been in these situations before and came back.
We are notoriusly bad starters. I can remember at least six seasons when we have started slow and still went on to win the leauge.
Once the new boys settle in and we find the best starting 11 we will be in good shape. A few of the players
we have brought in are experienced international players. Goian, 40 odd caps, Bocanegra, 93 caps, Mckay 17 caps, Bedoya, 16 caps.
Just wait the team will pick up again and results will start to come.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with first reply, the big man has a great talent but f**k me he can easily miss the simplest of chances. Back to the training ground big man, and learn to finish

Read what's in quotes from Jelavic. The rest is dross by a poor journalist.

Since we are on the "USA Bandwagon" at the moment, which is clearly a drive at promoting the Gers in the States, we should be looking at Jose Altador to partner Jelavic. He is very good and young and could be worth a shout a few years from now from an EPL team. But lets also bear in mind that the USA do produce good players and have beaten the World Champions fairly recently. Once these players we have signed settle, i think they will do wonders for us

Believable11 Unbelievable9

Am sure he has recently signed for az alkmaar

Agree0 Disagree0

You are correct, Just signed for AZ.

Agree0 Disagree0

Signed for Alkmaar for 1.5mil a real bargain

Herald Scotland. Jake Livermore still open to loan move to the bears. Said a deal was almost done prior to injuries mounting up at spurs. After seeing him destroy hearts the other night I think he would be a welcome addition.

Believable20 Unbelievable3

Don't need a central midfielder really mate. Need a creative winger and a striker.

Agree0 Disagree0

Looks like Diarra is on his way to Spurs, so may still be on.

Agree0 Disagree0

He looked a great prospect the other night and actually passed the ball 'forward' a concept that appears to be lost on McCulloch & Edu. We could build a team around this boy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't need a central midfielder really mate. Need a creative winger and a striker.
=====================
is that all we need

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't need another central midfielder, and anyways he's no better than Ness or Hutton

Agree0 Disagree0

To the guy who says we dont need a central midfielder, mculloch and edu aint up to it nor is hutton yet, jamie ness can improve he's one for the future but we def could do with 1 now, and there's no such thing as a creative winger "mate" it's just winger as wingers jobs are to create things or there not doing there job properly, creative midfielder yes not winger....

Agree0 Disagree0

Build a team round a player who would only be on loan, what would happen next season when hes gone, dissnae make sense.

Agree0 Disagree0

To the guy that posted it 'dissnae' make sense to build a side around Livermore as he would only be on loan hopefully Ness would be ready to replace him by next season mate.

interview with jella doesn't make for good reading

Believable12 Unbelievable10

Seems like jelevic is very unsettled.

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't read too much into this jelavic story. Nothing he says indicates he is unhappy or unsettled, the journalist who printed the story is the only person who says jelavic is fed up. Yet again it's down to poor journalism.

Jelavic is only stating the obvious, which we all know......the champions can and will get better. Don't read too much into poor journalism fellow bears, that's the problem with this country.......very poor journalism

Daniel lalarrson would be good but what's up with healy every time he has came on he looks good. Give him a chance if i could pick a partner he's it. We will in the league, we have balance on throat middle with the oz'y boy but Ness is head and shoulders our best on the middle. We will get there.

Believable7 Unbelievable7

Agreed on everything. Give Healy a chance wee run of games and he'll be an important goalscorer, i'm confident of that. We will get there WATP.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nah mate you are clueless about football if you think Healy is the answer to our problems.

Agree0 Disagree0

Healys been crap what you on about?

Agree0 Disagree0

Healy is 1 of the worst striker ave ever seen play for rangers U are clueless

Agree0 Disagree0

Good point mate. Healy has scored goals at international level and scottish football is mince so surely he can score a few.

Its gd 2 see most of u's leaving young ness out ur team for 2 players u have only seen on you tube, ness is 1 of the best players in the team.

Believable17 Unbelievable3

Ness would be in my team but so far he hasnt exactly been able to make that position his own since he's constantly injured

Agree0 Disagree0

Unfortunately he is always injured to see if he can do it on a consistent level and is injured again. not sure how can say he is one of the best players when he hardly managed to string 2 or 3 games together.
