Ed039's Note - As a few of you have asked I have put up a new poll. The question today - Is Ally McCoist the right man for the Rangers job?
Ally is a virgo, virgos don't walk away easily or give in, he can't see his own faults, he actually thinks he, s doing a great job, he wants to be classed along with team in the 1890s that went through league undefeated, end fact of it is he won't go away unless he is pushed and pushed hard, he is wasting his reputation he had as a player but then again when he goes into his bank for a statement does he take the tellers word how much he has in his account doug t. s. o

Dont think we all need a poll to know the overwelming answer to that question!
{Ed039's Note - It seems closer through discussions on the site than what the poll is currently showing, early days yet)
Ed, how do I cast my vote on is ally mccoist the right man for the rangers manager's job, the poll that you set up mate
{Ed039's Note - on the menu selections on the left hand side of the page there is one for voting polls)
Ed this is not a celtic fan here pretending to be a gers fan. I am serious rangers fan as you should be able to see with my recent posts. I like many am claiming to have info about rangers but unlike others I can guarentee that my sources are correct on this one I have spoken to a source very close to the whole rangers affair and he has confirmed to me that we are right on the brink of administration again and if something is not done within the next 10 - 14 days then there will be no option but to place the club into administration again. he also advises me that there will be evidence coming out in the next few days that points to charles green still being involved at the club and possibly news that will alarm fans that craig whyte is still on the scene. I hope and pray to god that it is not true but it does sort of seem strange that wallace has not come out to re-assure fans as any other club's board would do. I know you will have your doubts to my claims but sincerely this is all true.
{Ed039's Note - I am sure you do have a source bud, but he is not telling you anything that we have not been discussing on here for a long time I am afraid, even Mr King and the Union of Trusts recent statements indicate the exact same thing you are saying with the exception of the Craig Whyte link)

I think Ally has the passion for the Job which is vital for a club like us. All the sort of Big teams of days gone by do like Ajax, us, celtic, andelecht all these sorta teams we need a man with passion in charge who is a fan of the club. They also need sense though, which I am undecided on Ally all these big earning players, did he buy them for an easy way up as he could have stuck with the people that stayed such as the youth and still have been getting promotion it would have been harder though but achievable other than championship that would have been harder, but had he in these two divisions done that I think we would be winning the league and saving up a lot of money, Ally would have known this but did he take the easy route or was it the pressure that the crowd needed entertaining football and big names as attendances would drop otherwise.
What our club needs to do is:
1. Start to get rid of any non starters over 24
2. Play more youth (McKay should not be out on loan)
3. Scout for cheap players with potential
I think we need to accept our position we shouldn't be signing players like Jon Daly (yes I like big Jon for the club) but realistically he doesn' offer anything in the future for us.
I think the model Ajax have would be perfect for us as they are (once we are stable in SPFL) a club similar to ours, we will most often be in Europe but it's hard to sign players to a s**** league and we can't afford the wages. So we develop our own and make a profit of them and we can invest the money in scouting and finding other players with potential or save up a bit to buy a bigger player.
