Alright gers, I'm a owls fan just wanting abit of heads up on McCabe any good? Hope ur lot sort yourselfs out quick onwards and upwards ;-)

Hard to know, he only played a few games for us. He played in a holding role against Celtic and totally bossed the midfield so that shows he has some talent but seen a couple of other games where you hardly seen him at all. Still he's only a kid, got to give him time.

Good young talent but still got a long way to go. Can play/spot great passes but thats all. Good signing for you lot and should have no problems in the championship :)

Cheers for that mate - he is a cracking young prospect and one of the really sad things about what has happened to us is players like him and Jamie Ness have left the club. Hope he does a good job for you's I am sure he will.

Awesome prospect. Tbh no disrespect intended but i thought he would have went to a bigger club. But i think he will do extremely well down there. Good luck with the coming season.

Alright mate! I he's a good young player. Didn't look fazed with the big games. He's from my area - (his dad was mega strict with him, making sure he played football constantly etc) so no doubt he will do great for u and make u lot some money ;)

Alright mate,thanks for the well wishing.Rhys McCabe.Small but fast player,decent range of passing but quite lightweight.To be honest,didnt play that many first team games and bailed along with the good players that left us.was raised at rangers and theres a fair wee bit of dissapointment in his decision to scarper.good luck to him,good luck to your team.

He only played a few first team games for us. He looks like he could be a decent player in the future.

He didn't play much first team football. Seems to be a good player but time will tell! Needs to be coached well to progress

Raw talent, but very inexperienced and I think he has made the wrong decision to move on so early in his career. He really should have stayed another two seasons to gain experience and mature physically. I wouldn't expect too much, probably an average squad player at this stage in his career.

Absoloutley bossed the old firm game in march , terrific prospect! Loyalty questionable tho

Played a few games and did reasonably well in a poor SPL Young and a long way to go to prove himself. He will struggle in the championship as its more physical and he's not an athlete. Cant see him staying long with the Owls and will be back in Scotland within a year.

Season ticket holders will receive new renewal forms in the post from today, Wednesday 1 August.The season ticket deadline is Tuesday 7 August 2012. From Tuesday 14 August the Club will open.

So Green or Brown, renew or not renew?

Renewed today, took me an hour on and off. First I was told they had sold my ticket, numerous calls to get through to customer services but lines were full. Called ticket office after numerous tries, got them to have customer service call me. Nice woman called back and took my details, finally renewed now sending a form for continu os credit card scheme....got there in the end

Lets face facts here fellas, ally would have been sacked if there was no admin and he comes away with a slogan and suddenly hes the greatest, Green, certainly he was the only to put any offer in but surely to god £200k + a week wage bill in 3rd division, is surely a surefire way back to administration and still no full licence and he slags off the sfa is he mental? jj

Don't trust Green entirely but see no other option than to back him.

Anyone signing up for a "Continuous Credit/debit card scheme is asking for trouble.You are,in effect giving control of your card to a third party who can take cash when they like.It can be very difficult to cancel as their is no paper work involved.To a large degree you're at the mercy of the company.It's high risk.Be careful lads.

Well done sir. I totally agree with you, I use to post on this site all the time but constantly got shot down by fellow bears.

The majority of the folk on here are celtic fans looking to wind gers up. It's the same on the newspaper forums. I find it a bit sad and a tad weird. I never read celtic stories as I'm not interested in them. But then again they are just the pretenders...

To be honest, I think your original post covered it - it's not a suggestions page, it's a rumours page.

By that I mean, we come on here to see who might be signing. Maybe Robbie Fowler has been spotted at Glasgow Airport. Or Nacho Novo has been seen going into Murray Park. Or Andrei Ionescu has been getting a tour of Ibrox. That type of thing.

I think that some people just get fed up reading the same old player suggestions day-in, day-out. Personally I don't mind reading suggestions because, if nothing else, it gives me food for thought and it's something to talk about. But maybe that's what the banter page is more suited for. Also, for all us Rangers fans it's been quite a testing year - some ups, plenty of downs. It's worth taking that into consideration, ill feeling of how this whole situation has been handled (and continues to be) might cause a few people to be a little bit grumpy.

I follow Celtic mainly but I check out all the rumours sites including Rangers. I find them all interesting (I do have a life) and you are always going to get wind-ups, no different from the terraces really. I particularly like it when the Eds comment as they are normally pretty sensible and accurate and sometimes tell posters off when they step out of line. Not having a pop here, but I have learned so much about football and the legal side (Administration, Liquidation, CVA's, BTC etc.etc.) from this site it made me realise how close Celtic came to a similar position. Keep pasing the info - good, bad or just plain silly...that is what the site is about.

Would be good if we could keep Bedoya.

A midfield 4 of Black, Shiels, Hutton and Bedoya with McCulloch and Beattie up front.

Looks good apart from the Hutton bit. He is murder. Was crap at Partick on loan. Bedoya will be away though. {Ed039's Note - Off to Helsingborgs by the end of the week)

Sheils wont wont to play centre mid we will preffer to play left mod or centre attacking mid or even up top

Naa 4-3-3 is the best sheils little nd jig up front

Is it just me that thinks 4-3-3 will just resort to punting long balls at Jig for the full game {Ed039's Note - Thats my worry, although through winter on certain pitches it will be the only way)

Ok so alot of these players aint the greatest quality, but we are in the 3rd division mate, you think we would be gettin these players if we could get messi, xavi, lahm, as far as i am concerned, any player who wants to join us is welcome, we need the numbers.

Heard from a reliable source today that craig beattie is considering an offer from rangers.he has apparently been promised that rangers will be in the top division next season after a league re shuffle. He wants to wait for hard evidence of tis before signing. I think he'll have a long wait I can't see anything being leaked from spl chiefs about future plans for league reconstruction.

Were did u get this info from,tooth fairy or even Doncaster himself, utter b****cks..

Would anybody really be surprised if there was backdoor deals going on. Rangers went bust and are lucky to be allowed back in to D3 with a different company. But if this whole shambles has proven anything it is that SFL, SPL & SFA must be made into 1 organisation. They're all just covering their own asses.

When the sh*t hit the fan in February they should have went in a wee room and decided what was going to happen if Gers went bust. No one man making a call, a joint decision. No blame, no reprisals. All this deadline, deadline, vote, vote .... a joke.

The SFA have already denied this is happening (not that that counts for anything). Beattie's move is entirely dependant on what other deals he gets offered, nothing else.

There could be some truth in this...... They do appear to be signing people capable and proven in the SPL, albeit if someone had mentioned on this page a year ago that we were interested in signing these players they would have been given so much abuse for wasting our time. Think they will all do a good job getting us back up to SPL (If there is still an SPL to go to)

Don’t know about the rest of you but would you like us to be invited into a restructured SPL as has been suggested? I personally would prefer to work our way back up to where we belong adding some new trophies that we have never won before on the way and bring through some good young talent which will only make us as fans and The Rangers as a team stronger.

Why not just sign for one season then? Cos we are allowed to renew contracts I take it?

As a celtic fan i would like to see beattie sign for yous ... and before you start the (why are celtic fans interested in who we sign ) we own your media rights so the better players you sign we can negotiate a better deal with sky and bring more money into the spl we can maybe sell the rights to ten games next year and make the spl stronger

Regan confirm on BBC today that Green and McCoist agreed to all the membership pre-conditions weeks ago when they thought there were going into D1.

Green's "bigotry" chants and Ally's "I won't let them take our titles" one liners only came out after they were going to D3.
