Apparently Kilmarnock want £750k for Couibaly. That's an absolute bargain IMO. The wee guy has everything to improve our first team, he's quick, direct and capable of producing pieces of magic. He's had half a season in the league and scored a decent amount for a pretty poor Kilmarnock side. If I was Warburton I'd be pursuing this boy especially at that valuation.

Completely agree. Spurs paid 1.2 million for him when he was 17 and he's had Real Madrid, Juventus etc tracking him before. He scored something ridiculous like 14 goals in 9 matches for the ivory coasg under 20s. There's denfinity potential and 20 goals in a season for us would have his value at 5-10 mill at least.

Can't see any transfer fees being paid we run at a loss so the board are keeping us going UEFA fair play rules will kick in if we run up high loses you can only spend what you earn all this talk of King should through in £30 mill can't happen

Good point think about it. Until we can sell shares or increase currently holdings then any investment in will be a debt. They are probably scared Ashley will take up his option as they could not get the article passed at the agm.

In a couple of words No Chance Whatsoever. i can see barry mckay being sold this window just to balance the books as he is right now our most valuable player. i just wish king would come out and be honest about everything instead of hiding he promised transparency and i simply do not see any of that.

Let me say what DK can't. DK tried to put through a motion so he could sell shares to limited people so 1. They could drown out the fat man giving him less power at Ibrox. 2. Raise money for the manager to spend. It didn't happen as it didn't meet the required amount of votes. DK has to watch everything he says as some fat bar steward will have him in court before he's said it as he has in the past. So those looking for transparency have to take this into account, he's stuck between a rock and a hard place. Until we get rid of the Fat Controller we have very little income to be able to spend and under UEFA rules you can only spend what you bring in or face sanctions hence Man City having to cut back on their lavish spending. Honestly my fellow Bears some of you need to get real.

Seen a few posts on twitter about major investment in Rangers, most likely crap and i'm not holding my breath but i think the Leipzig game the other day was a possible means of scouting Barrie Mckay as Leipzig seem to have gotten a little success from Burke they could be more interested in the Scottish market.
i know he never came from Scotland but he's Scottish therefore using us as a sort of feeder club as they do want to continue expanding and hope to be a major european force in the next few years. this however could mean investment for us through transfers? thoughts?
