Rangers are trying to sign striker David Healy on loan from Sunderland - and fulfil the much-travelled forward�s lifetime ambition.

Northern Ireland veteran Healy is looking for a new club after a short spell on loan at Championship side Doncaster and hopes to complete the switch to Glasgow before the window shuts.

Healy, whose previous clubs include Preston, Port Vale, Leeds, Norwich, Ipswich and Fulham, is a free agent in the summer and Sunderland are happy to let him go, despite just selling fellow striker Darren Bent to Aston Villa.

Rangers, who are on the brink of selling Scotland striker Kenny Miller to Turkish side Bursaspor, are trying to sort out a wages package - but Healy will need little encouragement to join his favourite team.

It says right there in the article that Celtic already had plans on moving for Commons and its Rangers who are forcing their hand by coming in with a bid.

Euzebiusz "Ebi" Smolarek has not been on trial at Rangers and has not signed for Rangers. Now that Kenny Miller has agreed personal terms, both clubs are negotiating a transfer fee. Rangers will look to replace Miller with either a bid for Bradley Wright-Phillips or will use the bulk of Miller's transfer fee to negotiate a loan until the end of the season. Rangers will not sign Conor Sammon or any other run of the mill SPL player as Smith is looking for a striker to provide ammunition in the Europa League due to Jelavic being ineligable and Beattie yet to show any sign of form.

To the moron who claims to work for hmrc! I am an employee of hmrc, and as an employee of hmrc I would imagine you are aware of the customer confidentiality policy! In which case, you, as you are not dealing with the case itself, do not have a business need to speak to your friend regarding this.

Therefore this rumour better not be true as I would move swiftly to the official whistle blowers telephone number to advise them of customer confidentiality being broken and that one member of the team dealing directly with the rangers case has been passing on customer details to someone without a business need!

I also know that you are talking complete and utter nonsense as any such case would be dealing with a local compliance office as the amount is too much for a standard hmrc employee to discuss without being in a higher officer position!

I DON'T THINK YOU'VE GOT MUCH TO WORRY ABOUT HERE. THE PROSPECT OF GETTING PLANNING PERMISSION FOR RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT WOULD BE VERY REMOTE, AND IF IT WERE TO BE GRANTED WOULD LIKELY NOT BE FOR ANOTHER 12 - 15 YEARS.

ELLIS WOULD CERTAINLY TAKE ADVICE FROM PLANNING CONSULTANTS IF THIS WERE HIS STRATEGY AND I HAVE NO DOUBT THAT THE ADVICE HE WOULD GET WAS THAT IT WAS EXTREMELY HIGH RISK AND AS SUCH HE WOULDN'T PURSUE IT.

West of Scotland rugby club, whose ground is right next to Murray Park have just sold off some of their land and have been granted planning permission to build on it. Planning permission would be easy for them, I hope it doesn't happen but it is a possibility.

Right where do i start to the idiot who called me a phone monkey i have worked at various tax offices throughout the UK for over 25 years stopped answering phones along time ago my friend has over 30 years in the tax industry for reasons that should be clear i cannot say to much about my position BUT WHAT MY FRIEND TOLD ME TODAY ABOUT THE TAX EVASION ENQUIRY IS TRUE IT GIVES ME NO PLEASURE IN SAYING IT. You say you can't say too much for obvious reasons- you have said the most important bit of information and what you have said would be enough to cost your 'friend' his job. If you are so confident that what you say is true what is happening to the other clubs being investigated like Man Utd? If anything does come of it which I doubt considering it is not illegal then it would be appealed and probably successfully. First am not gonna slag people off but trying to wind folk up by saying that this issue would be dealt with by CENTRE 1 - DOUBT IT. These matters are settled by the courts-NOT A LOCAL TAX OFFICE! The investigation done by HMRC to do with the issue of tax evasion is not to do with the club itself it was to do with the manner in with they paid their players over the years! Most of the players were paid via EBT's as have Arsenal, Man U, Chelsea, Celtic players etc etc. . . Rangers are only one of a number of clubs under scrutiny over this allegation.

My guess is that nothing will come of this as they loop holes to do with EBT's are widely used in various types of businesses. I know this as we set them up for clients and its not tax evasion its tax avoidance and very much legal. The companies that set these tax vehicles up take charges from the client which are substantial and the company provides ample insurance to clients to cover ALL legal costs and will pay out if found to favour HMRC. Irony is that HMRC approve all schemes prior to them being allowed to be put in place! So again doubt anything substantial if at all will come from this investigation.

TO SAY IT WOULD BE DEALT WITH AT A LOCAL LEVEL JUST MAKES YOU LOOK STUPID AND TRYING TO RUB PEOPLE UP THE WRONG WAY! !
