Cardoso apparently not happy with lack of game time, that's fine but he must do better when given a chance. he has a decent touch etc but basic defending is poor, gets bullied too often and celebrates if he wins a rare header.

20 Feb 2018 00:20:48
I’d give him a shot with Bates. Not been particularly impressed with Martin if I’m honest. 2 pantries given away already for handballs 😂

20 Feb 2018 01:01:54
Pantries 😂😂 obviously meant to be panalties**

20 Feb 2018 08:25:57
Cardoso has had his chance, he’s brutal.

20 Feb 2018 09:20:14
Martin was very poor on Sunday however both penalties were very harsh. How can it be deliberate handball when the ball was blasted at him from 2 yards? His reactions aren’t that fast to make it deliberate. Even more ridiculous was to get booked for it too

20 Feb 2018 11:59:04
Very harsh penalties to be honest but I still agree he hAsn't been rest and is quite slow but he is a smart player and reads the game well just afraid that he may be just off the pace of some of the Celtic players but cardosso is quicker but not as smart as Martin so what's worse?
I think mcrorie and Bates would team up well and if given this season to gel will brilliant together next season? Thoughts?

20 Feb 2018 15:12:42
To be fair both pens were really unfortunate imo. He is throwing himself in front of the shot in both cases. Not a lot he could do. I don't think Martin has done a lot wrong so far tbh.

20 Feb 2018 18:01:55
A good center back usually doesn't need to find himself lunging in last gasp in those situations.

20 Feb 2018 19:00:13
Guys love the optimism but calm down. Let's get the 2 games vs hearts and St Johnstone out the way 1st. I can see us dropping points in both games given how ropey our defence is. If we take 6 points then is the time to ramp up the pressure going into the game on the 11th.

I can see us going into the game easily 11 points or worse behind.

Now if we had a proper manager things may be different, then again we would probably be clear at the top

21 Feb 2018 11:27:20
Have to disagree bgate. When I played I was told by every coach to get my body in the way of the ball. Basic defending. Every one of the world's best defenders made a living out of it

19 Feb 2018 21:28:11
Heard that its a straight choice between graeme murty and kilmarnock manager stevie clarke, to be the new permanent rangers manager at the end of the season! Both have their supporters within the ibrox board of directors! Ed would you please do a poll amongst our supporters regarding who they would prefer to be our permanent manager beyond this season, if it was down to these 2 managers, graeme murty V stevie clarke? Cheers ed! I would reckon this will be a very close poll!

Ed033's Note -

Murty Clarke Poll

19 Feb 2018 23:12:30
Is Clarke not have background from the dark side?

19 Feb 2018 23:52:31
Murty all day long

19 Feb 2018 23:54:16
Apparently he is a boyhood Killie fan

20 Feb 2018 01:06:29
Clarke is an unwashed fan apparently. You can tell he doesn’t like Rangers by the way he reacted to the bid knocked back for Jones

20 Feb 2018 09:07:11
Good Manager Steve Clark but he’s an out n out Tim. When Brenda leaves, he’ll be the replacement.
Not for me.

20 Feb 2018 09:22:08
What he has done with Kilmarnock is incredible though and he would be a good shout. However if Rangers finish 2nd and win the cup then Murty should be given another season

20 Feb 2018 10:10:29
Although Steve Clarke has worked wonders at Kilmarnnock and is a fantastic coach there's no way he will join us, in fact there is more chance of Rodgers leaving and him joining Celtic!

20 Feb 2018 12:02:28
Finnish second? We will be up there for the title race if we win our next 4 games hard task i know but it's about time and I feel a change in the wind don't u guys.

Confidence breeds success and this team are brimming with it just now.

20 Feb 2018 12:45:39
Clarke no thanks. Done a very good job but what's wrong with Murty? The guys got us winning and playing well. A few hiccups but there's been a lot of changes regards playing staff. Really don't want another manager due to then more playing staff in and out. Time to gel blah blah blah. We're ready to kick on now with this team.

20 Feb 2018 15:11:35
Steve Clark said he won't leave Kilmarnock for any other SPL team.

20 Feb 2018 15:24:51
Steve Clarke manager of Rangers? How absurd can you get?

20 Feb 2018 17:54:28
We don't need to give anyone the job right now. Back Murty till the end of season. Then judge him.

19 Feb 2018 15:13:46
Just want to make a point about ALves.

Can people get off the guys back? Yes it's been an underwhelming signing as he cannot keep fit, however, he is head and shoulders above any CB in our team when fit, him and Berra are statistically the best CB's in the league.

People claiming he feigned injury in the Old Firm game are incorrect. I've seen our own fans in his Instagram giving him abuse, it's disgraceful. He has a recurring calf injury, he went to Madrid to see Ronaldo's specialist during the first Old Firm game.

It's the exact same as the Windass situation, people slaughtering him every week and now they look like fools for it.

19 Feb 2018 15:31:05
Well said bear

19 Feb 2018 16:59:54
Hear hear.100% agree, why would Alves pretend to be injured when he has won titles in Portugal, Russia and Turkey and played against better and much more physical opponents than Celtic!

19 Feb 2018 22:23:33
For the money alves is on compared to the amount of time he has been injured he has been a waste. His performances have not been that great either. Get shot at the end of the season, his wage could be much better spent.

19 Feb 2018 22:41:38
Bruno Alves doesn't bottle any match but it could be argued he's come for a last pay day lots may disagree just have a good at Portugals CBs there s 4 players in his position much younger 25+ ish worth 20M playing for top teams .

20 Feb 2018 12:04:16
Alex and Bates will be good together as I don't think Martin is much quicker than wives and isn't as smart either

21 Feb 2018 05:29:11
Who is Alex and what's this got to do with his Wives mate :D

19 Feb 2018 13:08:08
Getting McCrorie, Jack and Dorrans back in the team will give us so many options. it's looking really good; McCrorie maybe step back into centre back, but when he was playing cdm he was unplayable. If Rossiter can get fit which i highly doubt our midfielders will all have to be at the top of their game to keep their spot which will make us so strong for the run in.

19 Feb 2018 15:23:19
How long till Dorrans is back

19 Feb 2018 19:16:27
Jordan, he last played on the 25th of October in the draw with Kilmarnock.

I'd have hoped he would be back training by now but I've not seen him in any of the training pictures yet, starting to get the feeling we might not see Dorrans back on time for the run in. Here's hoping.

Seen Ryan Jack has been in the gym but I don't think he has trained with the team - i'm sure he's out for the rest of the season?

Don't know about Mcrorie.

19 Feb 2018 19:21:27
No it will make it difficult to pick our midfield because there is to many options. Niko and Bruno are on too much wages
I think they need to go.

19 Feb 2018 22:24:56
They will be like 3 new signings.
