Our squad is starting to look good now, we are getting real depth in most positions especially middle of midfield, we now have Law, McCulloch, Peralta, Black, Hutton, mcLeod to choose from in there, and that's not including likes of crawford or Telfer. I hope Gasparotta gets a run in team in defence, if we play him with a McCulloch or a Boconegra we will be sorted.
Sheils as well mate, iam sure he'll come good next season.
How many times! You can forget Bocanegra he doesn't want to play in Div 2 and we can't afford the wages. He and Goian have played their last game for the club
Yes but we are still paying their wages along with another 6 players signed and all from the same pot of money we had last season
You can't say Boca or Goian aren't going to play, because at latest, there joining preseason training, nobody has came in for them and they won't go to higher clubs maybe since there age
I was not including shields as I don't really class him as a central midfielder, a floating number 10 I see him as mate. Personally like him as a player, think he could play in a top league. European competition level and do well but personally do not think he has got the bravery for the brutality of lower league Scottish football.
Goian and Boca will only be back if there is no other option or they want a pay-off!
We are still in need of a quality centre back for next season, even if either McCUlloch or Daly makes the step back.
We cannot go with what we had last season
Gasparoto is a School Boy. You can't ask him to play 30 odd games a season. It would break him. The games he played last season he looked poor with the ball. Another example of a kid having one good game and the usual suspects jumping on the bandwagon calling him "the new Gough". He's not and he won't be around Ibrox in 5 years time.

I have personally not heard anyone call Gasparatto the new Gough, and terrible in possession - that's nonsense. His distribution is first class every time I see him, and I go to all the matches. 30 games would not break him, but make him. Never broke McLeod did it?
Lewis macleod only played 21 games last season for a start
Living in the Clouds. centre halfs next season will be McCulloch and a new signing. bocca and going will return for pre season training then leave for free to get em off the wage bill. Perry will fill in for injuries with Heggarty. Gassparotto will play a handfull of games. No more. he is too young and not good enough.

Yes for Rangers plus 8 for Scotland teams, so 29 to be dead exact. Or would it have been the 30th that would have broke him, lol

Living in clouds - your properly right Gasparotta properly will be a bit part player, what I was saying boy is good and should play often. Is fair better than Perry, Hegarty, Criberi and is younger. He has strength, passing ability, good reader of game and is only 18. Could be a heck of a player if nurtured correctly. Other 3 I mentioned have no chance of being top players as they are not good enough unfortunately
I would love the team to be half full the young players BUT have you noticed Ally already filling out the side with 'big name' (for 2nd Div) signings BEFORE we are actually even in 1st division imagine SPL he will buy buy buy to try and keep his and backroom staff jobs regardless of if we can afford or not. I support him this season as a Gers loyal fan I do not rate him or respect any decisions he makes tactically. george
