21 yo Everton attacking mid Kieran Dowell heavily linked with a loan move to us in January. Hasn't featured in the epl this season and persomall don't know much about the lad. Anyone else hear anything? Also good to be back hope everyone is well.

Hopefully in the near future we will get away from the loan market
It’s a big gamble especially given the stage they are at in their career and even more with the environment they will have to play in when they come to us.
I don’t have a problem with the odd loan and I can understand why we are doing it while we get back to a better financial standing but we need to have permanent signings through the door and promote from what is a good Academy
The lad from Everton seems like a good player but he probably hasn't played in front of crowds like he will at Ibrox and he hasn’t HAD to win every single game
I would probably think that we have had about 2-3 successful loans out of ten in the last few years.

i believe Dowell will be a success if he joins us, the difference with this kid and the others is he seems to me a more mature player, more of a man than the likes of kent, ovie and sadiq
seen him a lot in the championship last season and he is a talent. the pressure might be an issue but that can be said with anyone, even seasoned pros have struggled.

I think Dowell would be a great addition. He would be great joining together the midfield and the strikers.

It's a gamble bringing in inexperienced young loan players in January, they need weeks to bed in. We need players who can come in and go. Steven Davis and dare I speak his name, Naismith. Maybe not Naismith but someone who knows where the net is.

As much as i love being on top of the league i really wish our fans would keep some sense of reality, after all they still have a game in hand and the last time we went top we made a rip roaring arse of it. If we win all our games up till the winter break and they lose their game in hand then i would consider we are in with a chance. can't see that happening myself unfortunately.

I know most of you believe Rangers news is rubbish.
Their latest is Davis sat on the bench 90 mins indicating he is not first team selection . Seems to indicate the door is still open for us to swoop for him Jan transfer window.
I would go for him thinking he would bolster the squad with some leaving then and now.

He wouldn't be the worst signing we have made, but it would just be another defensive style midfielder like Jack or McCrorie. He can play RB though so its always good to have a utility man like Halliday.

Not good enough, we need players now who improve our starting 11, big work was done in the summer but I’d like at least one player for our best starting 11 in January with a number 10 the priority, a striker on loan would be good business also and I think we will get both due the 2 cancelled loans this week.

Good player, i remember we signed Ryan Jack and a lot fans says he wasnt good enough, turned out to be one of our most consistant players.
