Striker Fran Sol of Willem II seems to be on our radar, according to a Dutch guy I know who works in Spain. He doesn't know much about football, admittedly, but in his job he meets people, hears things. anyone know anything about this guy?

Might be worth a punt this Fran Sol who is Spanish and started at Real Madrid, scored 20 goals last season including three against PSV and a couple against FC Twente, scored against Ajax and is valued around 2m, I think 20 goals in his 37 games played is a good return as the Dutch league is about par with ours.

Trev no7 I didn't know he was Spanish but it would fit in with my source who is Dutch and works in Madrid as a journalist. And buzultra's info makes me curious as to whether there is actually mileage in the rumour he shared with me. Seems to be a pretty sharp striker, this boy.

The Dutch league is not on par with ours. It’s miles better. Ajax just reached a European final last season.

He turned down Burnley and Cardiff. Rumoured to also have turned down a host of other clubs in Europe because he wants to return to Spain. Probably a non-starter for this guy

Just watched the goals on you tube there and the guy fran sol looks a pretty good goalscorer-good in the air scores with both feet and certainly knows where the goal is hope there is truth in this and go after this guy could be what we r missing

Apparently as many as 4 Rangers players will leave the club this week. Rangers want to sell but loans are looking more likely due to the wages these players are on and the clubs interested won't match them.
The guy that told me this used to be involved at Rangers a while ago and claims to still have sources🤔
Players to go won't come as much surprise:
Hodson
Halliday
Foderingham
Forrester
Dont know about anyone else but I'd be happy if we got £2m combined. £1.5m for Fod and £500k combined for the rest.
All 4 are at good ages and really should be sellable assets but it shows how poor our recruitment has been over the last few years. Fods the exception to that though as we will profit from selling him.

our recruitments been so poor and our wages so high for duff players that we can't get rid of them. let's hope lessons can be learnt there-when we eventually do get shot, we were lucky to get rid of pena, for a while, albeit that might still be back to haunt us at a later date. i think we need a quality central defender and 2 more quality front men

Fod should go for around 1M but prob be around the 800k figure. From what I’ve been told a Wallace and Lafferty swap is still being discussed but Hearts want cash and Wallace lol

Guys i'm i rite in sayin that we knocked back 2.75 million for fod not to long ago? We should not be accepting anythn less than 2.5 for him now that he's down the pecking order. It doesn't make him anythn less as a good shot stopper although i must admit i covered my eyes when he had the ball at his feet
