Dean Shiels will still be allowed to leave Ibrox if he can find a club but won't be allowed to leave until near the end of the window.

Believable31 Unbelievable82

Why would we let go arguably our most creative player alongside templeton? Doesn't make sense at all, I call BS.

Agree1 Disagree0

He wants to play in England, regrets the move, not BS.

Agree1 Disagree2

Dean shiels creative aye ok he created so much last season not let him go

Agree1 Disagree0

Think you will find a few players leaving during the last days of the transfer window. Expect Wallace, Shiels and Templeton all to leave to balance the books

Agree0 Disagree1

Easier way to balance the books is to tell McCoist to cut his coaching staff and tale a wage drop himself.

Equally, we could do with removing some of the costs from teh Board Room

If Shiels is to go it should be for a fee!

He is a decent quality player and if Celtic can get money for monkeys then Rangers should be looking to generate a fee for decent quality players.

Agree0 Disagree1

I went to school with dean and still talk to him. he's loving life at rangers

Agree0 Disagree1

Where the window ends there the light begins

Agree0 Disagree0

It's rubbish. One of our better players imo

Agree0 Disagree0

Did you see the way him n Ally celebrated his goal the other week? lol he's going nowhere! made up garbage {The Ed039's Note - he celebrated with the physio)

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance when he's fit he's good plus scored when he came of the bench

Agree0 Disagree0

Money for monkey's. exactly who are th monkeys you are referring to, wouldn't be big Vic surely, that would be a poor comment. The players that Celtic have sold were all bought from lower leagues and then sold on, you guys are signing anything out of contract and then you think that people are going to buy them off you. If they were any good then I would have thought that someone would have offered them a deal when they were free, that may be the problem at Ibrox, simple economics. you are taking guys who nobody else wants and paying them premier league wages when you are living on football league money.

Sandy Easdale has bought 1.2 million shares in a hectic day of trading.

He made the purchase after former club director Imran Ahmad sold the majority of his 2.2 million shares in the club. A total of 20 separate trades in the club were made yesterday.

Believable27 Unbelievable16

I can't help thinking Easdale and any new investors are being led up a merry path. If the sale leaseback story is true, that just injects temporary cash and extends the inevitable to next summer. Selling the family silver to get by and praying for a turn around in fortunes. This club, with so many side deals going on will not be able to get out of administration with a CVA it would have to be full liquidation again to wipe out the toxicity being set up.

Agree2 Disagree0

Shares in the club? shares in the company? watch what you're saying, youll blow the myththat liquidation wasnt the end

Rangers are close to agreeing a compensation payout to Anestis Argyriou in a bad to release the player from his contract. Former Rangers striker Mark Hateley's son Tom is rumoured to be on Ally McCoist's radar as a replacement.

Believable43 Unbelievable51

Saw he was playing for the under 21s and got hauled off after about 25 minutes this week - ominous sign. He is gash though, to be fair.

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance how many right backs do we need!

Agree0 Disagree0

Let's. See if all the trialists. Get full contracts on the 1st of. Sept remember green. Back. And the. 14 day. Clause in all pre contacts

Agree0 Disagree0

Do we really need another RB in Hateley? We have Foster, McAusland, Faure, Cole, Hegarty & Peralta (Little has also played there).

Agree0 Disagree0

Unless Green is disposed off at next weeks Board Meeting I fear the worst as regards the signing of all the new players never mind any additional players.

Let's just hope that the agreements signed were 'water tight' and that the characters that currently run the club are unable to weasel their way out of any of these deals

No we don't need anymore, and more to the point don't think we will get anymore! Argy was ok, wouldn't pay him off, if he wants to go, and club want him to go (as they do), give him a free transfer, and if no one comes in keep him, fed up of pay offs.

Agree0 Disagree0

I can see this happening. It's the sort of buy only our manager and scouts could pull off. Honestly, is there any point in having scouts, when the only players we sign are ones that agents recommend? Has been's usually, or never has been's more accurately.
We don't need more players, this league is pathetic. We need a proper manager who can try and build foundations for our return in a couple of years.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fellow bears remember hateley is not a right back his natural position is central midfield him and law would be perfect in there better thn black in my opinion. and mind he could take a good freekick aswell if any you remember against us at motherwell

Agree0 Disagree1

To poster who put peralta as a right back think your very much mistaken midfielder mate

Agree0 Disagree0

To poster who questioned Peralta playing right back. He has played there, for his previous club and for his country at the Olympics.

Agree0 Disagree0

Peralta would be better deployed in midfield. Question would be the midfield Four.
Peralta Black. Law Templeton or Macleod, Law, Peralta, Templeton.
If Templeton is injured Shiels would play or Aird.

Agree0 Disagree1

You missed out mitchell

Agree0 Disagree1

Argys a decent right back in my opinion likes to get forward and has a pretty decent shot on him and get rid of faure first.

Agree0 Disagree1

To all of you discussing where Peralta is best, give him the chance to play first! He might be a dud in every position but on the other hand he may be decent.

Anyway, back to the actual discussion. Hateley would be a much better proposition than the Greek dud at full back!
