All the articles I've read indicate that an offer has been made by King, Murray and Letham and it is thought that the other major shareholders will back such an offer. Ashley want's more revenue for Sports Direct and as someone else has posted, he can't do anything about increasing his percentage share in Rangers whilst he owns Newcastle. £16m would be a great injection with a man like King at the top, a true Rangers-daft man. If it happens, will he have the guts to get rid of Ally and bring in another manager before our season implodes? Does sound promising though (again!) lol

Doiget I've read that super and dave king get on well together but i also think dave king must have seen for himself ally just ain't got it imo so maybe ally will bet moved upstair and new manager brought in i wouldn't mind gorden durie getting a crack of the whip as he does well with the youngsters

McCoist seems to be making one bad decision after another! the Hibs game starting 11 was utter nonsense along with the decision to postpone last wknd's game against Cowdenbeath. I know its only October but 9 points adrift & 2 visits to the capital this year is just a horrible place to be.

I think McCoist will be away at the end of the season regardless. there are a lot of player contracts up also at the end of the season so getting someone new in would allow that person to build his own team. Derek McInnes would be my choice.

Gordon Durie? He couldn't manage East Fife never mind Rangers. Honestly, be very careful what you wish for!

Lads let's concentrate on actually getting king to push through this deal. I don't people understand how big an impact this could have on the future of our great club. The mccoist argument is VERY VERY small fry compared to what's about to happen with King and co.

Rossw1 totally agree the importance of the king situation, however, management decisions and team performance are both hot topics, To be honest almost being masked by the king stories & unfortunately that's all they are at this moment in time. stories and hear say. yes they are in talks but the dynamics of a deal like that to done are way more complicated than a yes or no. Too many people, too many hidden agenda's. Too many false dawns. So until there is something solid I like passing comments on the small fry stuff like the manager and the team.

Johnno ok he never cut it at east fife in his first shot in managment but he is doing well with the youngsters so imo he would be better than super

Rossw01 I've got to agree with aldo on this mate it doesn't matter what we say or think about current situation we can only hope its a good outcome when news does surface
