We need more players . Fair enough we got in shiels black sandaza and Kyle but that's not going to be good enough , has cribari signed what about kafes and faure I'm in the dark here does any body know of any other transfer roumurs Blue bear 1972 {Ed039's Note - Cribari signed, was waiting international clearance, the guy kafes is not being followed up on. I agree maybe 1 or 2 more players but surely young guys like Hutton and Naismith must be good enough with the senior pros already at the club)

Ally has two weeks to sort a squad for two seasons. 29 have left and three have signed up. It's not good when guys turn up, refuse a bounce game and leave. Or get on midnight trains from Glasgow central to London.

I'd say another 5 at least. We don't know who's going to ditch us before September and perhaps January. So we need to strengthen now as after this window we can't sign anyone till January 2014 unless they're free agents.
Agree0

January 2013 is it not? It's only 1 1/2 years not 2 1/2

I agree with the Ed that young players will be more than good enough to win Div3 and get us in a good Div 2 position before the Jan 2014 transfer window. We need to watch the wage bill FFS ! This is what helped to screw us up in the first place, CG said he would live within his means so we only need to cut our cloth to the league we are in each year, look at Gretna for example they used Div2 players in Div 3, Dive 1 in 2 etc and moved through the leagues no problem, AND they did it with British players mostly. We shoul dbe after the best of div2 to join us but then again that would involve transfer fees !

Well the team as is should be enough to get promoted. I mean, there are guys there being paid more than a whole SPL3 team.
But if Rangers wants to nail promotion asap and compete in cups then a couple more players of SPL standard (like Black and Shiels) will be needed.

1st september 2013 is when rangers can register a new player whether it be free or a loan. We will not be paying a transfer fee before we are in the 1st division

January 2013 is only 1/2 a year away so it is January 2014 which is 1 1/2 years away.

Jan 2013 is only 5 months away so its e0.14 befoe we gt players

I think you'll see the transfer rumours die down once the season tickets are sold out. Green needs to create a hype to get everyone out buying season books. After that he'll look to save as much money as possible.

ED , how many over 21 year old players are teams allowed in SFL and how many spaces left .
Paddy Malarkey {Ed039's Note - I dont think they have the same rules as the SPL when it comes to naming a certain number of Under 21 players in your match day squad)

1 or 2 more players u are gaving a laugh ed u really are look at amount of players we have lost we will lose few more to do u not understand we need a squad we cant sign anybody for a yr after this month i cannot understand how u think 1 or 2 more is enough even our manager days we need more players u just dont get it do u youth will get a chance but its a full squad we need and after sat performance god knows how u can justify 1 or 2 more signings {Ed039's Note - It depends how many leave before the embargo kicks in. I think 1-2 more will do with the current squad, but I dont think we will add significiantly and I think more will leave, my guess is that Boca, Goian, Edu etc may leave at the last minute with no time to sign replacements, therefore youth MUST get a chance)

Or maybe it was Mcoist and co that knocked him back, after he refused to play in a bounce game.

Maybe he thought the game against peterhead was a bounce game then bolted when found out that was the league
Agree0

Maybe he read the contract Green was offering and said no way. I'd like to know what was in it.

I think it was more to do with the fact the guy is serverly injury prone and didn't wanna play in a bounce game, get injured and not get his contract

How to win new friends and influence them - Lesson 3
"STV has learned that half of the approximate £66,000 share of gate receipts was paid by the Scottish Football Association last season after money due to Rangers was diverted to Tannadice.
Dundee United though, issued a statement on Wednesday morning saying that they were yet to receive an amount, believed to be in the region of £31,000, following Rangers chief executive Charles Green's claim that all football debts had now been paid.
STV understands the SPL does not believe that there is a firm agreement to make the remaining payment. However, the amount remains unpaid and Rangers have reiterated that they have a written agreement with the SPL for the league to pay United from prize money from the 2011/12 season.
Should agreement not be reached over payment then the Scottish FA could be asked to act as arbitrators by Dundee United.

You must have misunderstood the spl is the epitome of sporting integrity they would never sully their lily white hands eith such dodgy dealing

Yet again your not paying your debt nothing ever changes {Ed039's Note - Read all about it before posting stupid comments)
Agree2

SPL trying to claim that the agreement to pay was made with the old company that owned Rangers and therefor is forfeit....so new company has to pay the debt to Dundee Utd that is owed by the......wait for it.....old co! Seriously did they raid a mental asylum for folk to be in charge of Scottish football??
Agree0

The most obvious thing to come out of the whole Rangers saga is that the SPL are totally incompetent. Does anyone in that whole organisation actually communicate with anyone else.

{Ed039's Note - Read all about it before posting stupid comments) iv read all about it ...now pay your debt its yous that owe united the money no one else if you dont like getting shafted for the spl prize money then now you know how the creditors you shafted feel now the shoe is on the other foot you dont like it ?? (Ed039's Note - But I thought we were a new club? So how is it "our debt" once again when of the crew who want us to be a newco but pay for the sins of the oldco. Makes me laugh)
Agree0

It's been confirmed that there was an agreement, at Dundee Utds request btw, that 31k of rangers tv money from the SPL will go to Dundee Utd, all other debts are paid. Green is running things well, I'm impressed and looking forward to a bright future, who Yous signing at the moment? Not much activity eh ghirls

Does the runners up money not get paid to spl teams that we owed money to ? dundee utd have got a flaming cheek after asking us to pay in full AGAIN! after a game was abandoned at half time....
Agree2

You were not asked "to pay in full AGAIN" it was half price for supporters of both teams to pay for the police and other overheads.still feeling like you are the victims cant see that everybody has bent over backwards to keep the new company playing.you were given a new membership but didnt even have the proper paperwork to apply in the first place.then the embargo was suspended for a month to stop you crying that you didnt have enough players to compete.so instead of giving youth a chance you are already 300 thousand in debt and you have only played 1 league game.its the peer preasure from the fans that got the old company liquidated in the first place and the same is going to happen again because you are spending money you dont have.rant over hope to get you in the cup final so we can beat our british record for biggest win in final 7-1. leonbhoy

Who Yous signing at the moment? well i would rather wait for a decent player to come along rather than sign anyone you give a trial to.

Leonbhoy, why are you so bitter? Stop being obsessed with the best supported team in Scotland. bluenosecraig

It was peer pressure that got the old company liquidated what planet are yoo living on the old company has yet to be liquidated and when it does its because a CVA was rejected

Charles Green has been saying the correct things to appeal to all you BIGOTS
Agree0

If this agreement in may is ripped up as the SPL seem to be playing the OLDCO/NEWCO card, then the money for finishing in runners up position in the league should not be spread amonst the remaining member clubs in the SPL it should either be put back into the OLD co pot and paid out to creditors or should go to CHARITY.
The SPL cannot have it both ways, so Mr. Green pay the £31k and shut them all up and demand that the runners up money either gets paid to the old co (i.e. creditors) or charity and not to the GREEDY SPL MAFIA
Agree0

The bitter ones on here posting a load of crap as usual. they cant hide there dissapointment that no one really cares about them and Rfc are the only team anyone wants to talk about...even them

What's happening about the outstanding debts to the English and European clubs ?
Approx £2 million 300 Hundred thousand.

On recent form I'd say that the SPL is the one lacking joined-up thinking. From CG's point of view I have no doubt he believes that the debts are taken care of (if not actually paid). It would be the first time the SPL has given mixed messages lately.

Ed ... i never said you where NOT a new club and i never said you should be responsible for the debt i just said oldco or newco its justice to see YOUS get shafted for a change and now your playing all the victim stuff its laughable ... and am sure we got enough players to walk the spl (AGAIN) ours didnt walk away

Ed039 - it is YOUR debt because to get a SFL license your NEW CLUB agreed to pay the footballing debts of the liquidated club.
You haven't any accounts for 3 years, as you have ONLY been around for a few weeks. NewCo made a deal with Rangers FC and the SPL, SFL to pay off what was owed. You still havent paid it, so should it be revoked??
You haven't got a clue what you are talking about??
why are you still in denial?
