Andy Walker on Sky sports news this morning saying Rangers had spoken to Alan Pardew about the job however he has been put off due to the limited transfer budget. Makes you question his managerial ability that he needs a large budget just to get a successful team.

14 Nov 2017 16:59:54
Makes me question how much rubbish andy walker can get out his mouth at once, especially when the club have said they haven't spoken to anyone. The man is poison. As for pardew no way

14 Nov 2017 17:05:37
Andy walkeršŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

14 Nov 2017 17:54:18
See if the board go and get another manager who doesn't know Scottish football or doesn't have a clue about rangers and it's another failure i won't forgive the board. honestly we need a safe pair of hands this time after the last 2 appointments if that means mcinnes or big eck gr8 but I know every manager is a gamble but some are less of a gamble then others. just get it right this time or the anger will turn to the board. at least if they get mcinnes and it doesn't work the fans will cut the board slack bcos imo a majority of fans would back him but if they get another outsider and it backfires pity help them. right rant over lol

14 Nov 2017 21:23:54
Andy Walker but.

15 Nov 2017 08:57:27
Andy walker I've no heard his name mentioned in yonks hiy, still makes me laugh.

14 Nov 2017 13:51:33
Ally McCoist being considered for the Sunderland job šŸ˜® i heard league one has some brilliant away days.

14 Nov 2017 15:27:51
Anybody putting money on McCoist must literally zip up the back.

14 Nov 2017 17:52:46
Mccoist is a legend support your own

14 Nov 2017 19:07:11
legendary player. god awful football manager.

14 Nov 2017 23:43:47
Super ally rangers legend and always will be

15 Nov 2017 09:01:44
Mccoist was an amazing player and a very unlucky manager. Remember we were top of the league, had beaten the dhims and then meltdown happened and it was an impossible task for anyone to control and cheeky chappy I believe to an extent was used as a scape goat first by whyte then green and then blamed by the support. Shameful behaviour against a man who loves rangers like the rest of us.

15 Nov 2017 10:44:01
honestly to judge the man as amanager when he was at rangers is just rediculous.

he stayed when no one else would have with all the stuff going on in the backround.

he got us through 3 devisions and left when everyone was shouting for his head.

i would like to see what he could do at a club without all of this turmoil going on ion the backround.

i know sunderland are hardly that club but they are not as bad off as we where

15 Nov 2017 13:07:29
True pedz, I think all must have learned something from walter smith about management. I hope wee ally does wellwherever he end up.

15 Nov 2017 16:05:24
he got us through 3 divisipns that my dead granny could have ped mate šŸ˜‚ my memory of him as manager is giving over inflated wages to the likes of kyle, sandaza, black and a legion of other donkeys. was a perfect time to invest in youth players that would have been much cheaper and had a sell on value. grew up idolising him as a player but as a manager i really don't rate him. as a sidenote anyone that touches that sunderland job needs there head looked at. they are one of the fastest sinking ships there is

16 Nov 2017 13:50:15
I'd be delighted if McCoist got the Sunderland job, there were rumours at one point he would be the next Rangers manager and I don't want to see him anywhere near that Ibrox dugout again.

17 Nov 2017 12:29:53
He got us through 2 divisions, League 2 and League 1.

14 Nov 2017 13:00:40
Spoke to my source this morning and Murty will be the new manager if we beat Hamilton . He will be given until the end of the season I'm hearing.

14 Nov 2017 13:26:00
Financially it would make sense but also from a footballing perspective he has galvanised the squad who want to play for him.
Hopefully this saga will be concluded soon but the board need to get this appointment right.

14 Nov 2017 13:30:29
My source? More like my horse!
Murty will not be manager period!

14 Nov 2017 14:24:12
I think it would make sense in the absence of an outstanding candidate, however I donā€™t think the process is that far along yet.

I do believe that if it is to be McInnes then it will be done soon. If itā€™s not him selected then we may need to wait for the choice but we have a safe pair of hands with Murty!

4-0 Rangers on Saturday!

14 Nov 2017 15:23:24
I would be more excited with a Dutch coach taking over.
Van Bronkhorst
Advocaat
F De Boer
R Koeman
All gettable

14 Nov 2017 16:24:01
FdB - sacked within 3 months of both his last jobs

DA - great football but overspent so much in 2.5yrs we are still feeling effects 15yrs later

RK - spent 140m at Everton and cldnt win so got the dan mack

Gio - young manager just making his way in Holland not been involved in SPL for over 15yrs

no thanks lads Mcinnes for me

14 Nov 2017 17:57:07
Gio has won something in a harder, more competitive league than ours. My only concern with him would be whether or not he could work on a limited budget. Donā€™t for a minute think heā€™s interested anyway.

15 Nov 2017 07:52:41
Van Bronkhorst had nothing of a budget at Feyenoord either. They've had terrible financial difficulties the last few years. He won the title mostly by bringing through youth players.

15 Nov 2017 10:47:04
i wouldn't say its a harder league than ours not these days anyway.

the standard of football is shocking over there just now and that's just my opionion from what I've seen over the last few years

14 Nov 2017 10:37:06
Read that we're keeping tabs on Harry Cochrane at Hearts. Hope this is true as the lad does look like he has a bright future!
If McInnes does arrive, I would like to see him bring the lad Wright with him! Don't know what his Contract situation is? But I would prefer to see Wright arrive before McLean! !

14 Nov 2017 18:00:46
the young left back, Robson at Dundee Utd has his contract up in the Summer too. A few English teams sniffing about him, might be worth keeping tabs on as development fee would be peanuts

13 Nov 2017 23:59:15
When are we expecting the board to appoint a new manager then? I think we need him in before double header with the sheep.

If Denmark beat Ireland, is martin O'Neil a target? Would take him in a heart beat and think he is actually a better manager than Rodgers.

Michael O'Neil has done well but can see him taking the Scotland job, us going for mciness and Aberdeen getting Strachan.

If that is the case I think Strachan is a better manager than mciness and we will actually lose out.

14 Nov 2017 09:31:49
Are extracting the urine? Martin Oā€™Neill? Behave. One he would never be interested and two heā€™s had his time. I

14 Nov 2017 10:13:44
You would take Martin O'Neill. Are your drugs prescribed?

14 Nov 2017 10:17:58
You off your nut sparky? Clearly a celtic fan

14 Nov 2017 10:16:30
How could Strachan manage us he canā€™t pick or see Gers players and if he had his way Scotland national strip would be green and white

14 Nov 2017 10:43:38
I think michael oneill will be our next manager all this media speculation 1 week mcinnes next week gio next week mclaren next week de boer etc etc is just fake news from sources i think they been waiting till norn iron out come b4 approaching them no matter who comes in tho i will be 100% behind them b4 pedro came in it was the same this one that one and in walks WHO IS THIS the media were asking so the next manager might not even have been mentioned yet by no 1

14 nov 2017 12:04:21
no chance he is never good enough

14 Nov 2017 12:21:03
