I reckon Warbs has decided to take him on and let Bell and Gostomski fight it out for the chance at a longer contract. looks like Bell has beat Gostomski.
However it remains to be seen whether he has earned a new deal?

Any news on Harry Forrester getting a new contract? I think he deserves it even if it's only a 12 month contract.

I'd imagine he will be offered a 2 or 3 year deal. but not until the end of the season.

I think it maybe a bad thing if we leave it till the end of the season as other teams can offer him a pre contract. I would get him tied up just now. But that's only my opinion.

I'm sure warbs has already said he will talk to him about a contract once the league is won. Until then all focus is on the league.

i think it was a good call by warbs giving him short term,
means that he and the others are pushing the challenge.
instead of getting 2/ 3 years and if it didn't work out they would be stuck with an unhappy player not playing and a club paying wages that could be used elsewhere
defo think he will get a long term contract end of season and with him windass and crooks it looks like a good start to a spine of the team
we have some good experience and youth (at club and on loan)
for the first time in years it looks like a good future!

I'd like to see the club tie down Forrester and McKay long term in the summer and reward Lee Wallace with a improved 5 year deal to keep him at the club till he retires. He's as fit as a fiddle and could play for us well into his 30's in my opinion. What a servant and player he has been for us.

Can absolutely assure you that we will tie down nobody on a 5 year deal any time soon.
I'm not sure how long he has left on his current deal but I can't see him going anywhere. Wallace will already be one of our highest earners also so no need to offer a new improved deal or anything just yet.
