Harry Wilson confirmed as going back out on loan by Klopp today.
Have heard Ceptic tried to get him but were refused due to previous loan deals of Roberts and Musonda and lack of game time.
Also seen a few articles saying Gerrard has 1st refusal on ANY impending loan deal exits from Anfield.
It's also been reported that Liverpool would prefer Wilson to go back to Championship in England.
Will be interesting to see how this 1 develops could even be a Lampard V Gerrard tussle early in their Managerial careers.

14 Jul 2018 20:48:06
It's not on any loan deal. It's on any loan deal that Celtic are also after. So if Wilson is available for loan we'll get first refusal over Celtic but not over any other English team.

14 Jul 2018 20:59:10
Jeez oh. Its first refusal on any players that Liverpool are willing to allow to play in the SPFL. If Liverpool want Wilson to play in a higher standard league then first refusal means nothing for us.

15 Jul 2018 05:03:53
I’d rather have Solanke from Liverpool. it’s a striker we need. Middleton will be given decent game time this year and I’d rather he got it than Wilson.

15 Jul 2018 10:29:49
I have pointed this out before Wilson plays right wing or no10 Middleton plays left so Wilson would have Zero Zilch no impact on Middleton's play time. Derby appear to be favourites according to the war drums but let's see.

15 Jul 2018 11:16:09
Update today as earlier advised Liverpool look to be only sanctioning a loan exit to the Championship for Harry Wilson with Derby apparently heading up a 3 team shortlist ahead of Stoke and Swansea City.
Would have been a gem imo can play anywhere off the front LW, RW even the 10.

16 Jul 2018 00:41:28
It’s quite week for a team especially a club the size of rangers, to guarantee game time to a loan player, especially one who is only a youth player

14 Jul 2018 14:15:45
Might be nothing in it but harry wilson isn't in the liverpool squad for their friendly today against bury.

14 Jul 2018 14:39:19
Does say it a report a championship team have pounced for him. so can’t see being us. be brill if I was wrong tho :)

14 Jul 2018 23:09:32
Wilson will go to Stoke as part of Shaq deal.

15 Jul 2018 10:00:06
Joining Derby Cointy.

14 Jul 2018 08:27:58
Atakayi, Rudden and Hardie - three forwards in our development squad. If any one of them had been given a run alongside Morelos last season I'm sure it would have made a difference. What is the point in having a development squad if the club is not going to develop them in the first team? We've signed too many has-beens over the last few years and look at the tripe that has to be cleared out yet again before the season starts properly.

14 Jul 2018 10:50:51
It's easier said than done Old firm fans especially are impatient and want success straight away with these youngsters you can't just throw them into 1st team as it can ruin them with to much pressure on their shoulders this is why we have to calm down with the boy Middleton everybody wants him to start games but we cannot be putting that kind of pressure so soon on young lad these players need developed correctly at a good speed not to much to soon the loan system we use for Hardie especially will stand him in good stead in coming years

14 Jul 2018 12:07:55
We done the same with Docherty and McCorrie, these guys need to play without pressure and play selective games. These guys are the future and we can’t burn them out or hammer their confidence

14 Jul 2018 12:42:45
There is an old adage in football 'if you are good enough you are old enough'. I remember young players like Denis Law, Jim Forrest, Derek Johnstone and Colin Stein all playing at a high level while very young. Forrest scored 57 goals in a season when still only 20. How long do you keep farming these youngsters out - until they are 27 or 28? Utter tosh. McCrorie is clearly good enough to play in the first team now and so is Docherty. Looks like Middleton is too. Derek Johnstone was only 16 when he made his first team debut for Rangers. Rant over.

14 Jul 2018 13:01:41
Doiger you answer your own question, they are not good enough yet.

14 Jul 2018 13:13:12
That's the difference, mcrorie is good enough and has established himself as one of the first names on the team sheet, unfortunately hardie isn't (yet anyway) but obviously they want another year's loan to see how he progresses. Rudden and atakayi have bags of potential but are still raw and not ready for anything other than being involved in first team squads with occasional sub appearance if games allow. We need another striker to go with alf and sadiq. Someone with experience and the knack of scoring goals

14 Jul 2018 13:17:19
I think we are over protective of our younger players look at the amount of late teens early 20s in the world cup Mbappe is 19!IMO it's sink or swim no point in developing the boys if the weight of the badge is too much
There have been seasoned pros can't cope

14 Jul 2018 14:40:44
You said it yourself if you're old enough you're good enough. If they're not impressing in training to point of starting a game or getting on the bench then they're obviously not good enough at this point in time in the eyes of the management who see them everyday. The real talent will ultimately shine through in the end if it's only one youngster out of 10 then so be it.

14 Jul 2018 14:47:24
Hardie isn’t good enough, Rudden has a long way to go I think Atakayi could get some time this year.

For me only McCrorie and Middleton have got it. I believe there’s a kid called Williamson apparently potential superstar.

Too many on here think cause their Rangers youth they should get a shout. If they’re not getting a game they’re not ready.

14 Jul 2018 17:15:35
4 managers now in the last 5 years have deemed hardie not ready. They saw him every day we don’t. I fear the championship is his level

14 Jul 2018 19:18:40
Yeah SharpshootersPOM, but look at who these managers were. Caixhinho, Warburton, McCoist, blah, blah. Great managers, not. Time we took a chance on youth. I'm not saying play six development squad players but goodness me surely if a couple of these players were given a decent run last season we couldn't have done any worse. You and others on here are talking as if we have had uninterrupted success over the last five years. Eh, sorry we have won f*** all! Look at the crap we've brought in, e. g. Pena, Herrera, Cummings, Forrester, Cardoso, Windass, etc, etc.

14 Jul 2018 19:54:51
if these boys have anything about them they should thrive under pressure. that's what football is. in european leagues what we call boys ie 18-24 they call professionals

14 Jul 2018 20:09:30
or they end up just doing a bunk as they know they have no chance. billy gilmour, charlie telfer, these players will continue to leave. PLAY THEM!

14 Jul 2018 20:14:54
THESE IDIOTS WHO SAY PROTECT THEM. DO YOU THINK THEY WANT PROTECTED. or want an opportunity to skin an make a fool of more expierianced players to make a name for thier selves. ps colt team thing not going far enough there should be a scottish elect team that can only sign players that are eligible for scotland national team or will be eligible (youth) and no older than 23.as soon as 23 ship them out if they have a club lined up.

14 Jul 2018 20:15:42
take the fear out of our football again, go back to great football

14 Jul 2018 22:21:31
So why is gerrard not playing him DOIGER? He surely knows a striker when he see 1 considering who he has played with no? Dry your eyes because my opinion differs from the great football managers of our time like your good self 😏

15 Jul 2018 08:39:34
Gerforlife have a look where telfer is now-another who thot he too big for the club-and i state no man ever will be

15 Jul 2018 09:00:40
DOIGER, totally agree mate0. Hardie could easily have been given a place on the bench for certain games in the last 2 seasons. Brought on for the last 20-25 minutes. Who knows, he could have come on in a game we were struggling in and bagged a couple of goals. If he and Atakayi, Rudden etc aren't given a chance then we'll never know if they're good enough or not. If Billy Gilmour hadn't gone to Chelsea, would we be farming him out to Livingston or Falkirk every season until he was 22 or 23? A question for those who disagree- we're a goal down, 20 mins left of the game and Hardie and Herrera are on the bench. Which one to you send on to the park? I know which one I'd choose!

14 Jul 2018 00:04:41
I'm hearing solanke is joining rangers in early august from a reliable source I don't post bs my source is normally decent.

14 Jul 2018 09:08:28
I’ve said it too. Also reliable.

Hope so, would make a real difference.

14 Jul 2018 09:36:25
Just received text from pal in London who is a big Millwall supporter, wants us to keep our hands of the boy Cooper. Looks like he is on his way to Ibrox.

14 Jul 2018 10:03:42
It was rumoured, even before the window opened, Solanke would be coming here IF Klopp didn't think Solanke would get enough game time at Anfield.

14 Jul 2018 14:32:53
I hope so the guy could be a really quality player up here

14 Jul 2018 17:13:25
ings leaving then Solanke is now back up for Liverpool, no chance he's coming to us.

14 Jul 2018 20:46:56
Liverpools forward options are now

Salah
Firmino
Mane
Shaqiri
Sturridge
Lallana

Lots of talk of Timo Werner potentially going to Anfield aswell. Solanke isn’t going to see a lot of action for them. A loan would make perfect sense for club and player

14 Jul 2018 20:56:06
Liverpool won't go with just Solabke for backup. They'll 100% be signing an established striker this window. Ings staying or leaving will have no bearing on Solanke whatsoever

14 Jul 2018 23:01:20
Timo Werner was absolutely stinking at the World Cup. If Liverpool don’t want to score then he is their man. Possibly one of the worst players I’ve seen at a World Cup

15 Jul 2018 09:18:56
werner a good young player. should have been played more in the mbappe role instead of main striker not physical enough for main role

16 Jul 2018 09:46:13
Solanke has been linked to Rangers from when SG was appointed.
Surely a decision will be made soon.
Fruit bear you can also add Origi to the list, but I would expect him to be loaned out again as last season he was at Wolfsburg.
