Figures these are the people wohe make the shirts for shef utd. CG's old club {The Ed039's Note - Whats that got to do with it? Green has been gone from Sheff United for years)

Agree1 Disagree1

Is it not Addidas?

Didn't Charlies Green say that?

They said to me, Rangers will be the biggest club we have."

I wouldn't have thought so, but then I realized, ah... the extra D. My bad. Like when a kid would come in with their Nicks- only to be pilloried by the unforgiving eyes of the other School children. Still, they never claimed they were actually Nike!

Its not only sheff utd shirts that macron make and also they didn't make sheff utd kit when c.green was there. So get your facts right, ., .kbarry

Agree0 Disagree0

Italian sportswear company - Does the Aston Villa kit.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just heard last night that it is Adidas

Agree1 Disagree0

I would love Macron to do our kits. This seasons Lazio kit is just sublime.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who cares - strips don't make a team worth watching!

hearing strong rumours tonight that charles green has clinched a 3 yr deal to rename ibrox.. ..the sports direct ibrox stadium for £7.5 million

Believable45 Unbelievable71

Its 2.5 million

Agree0 Disagree0

Ul find its 2.5 million with only 1.5 million up front green must be desperate for the cash

Agree0 Disagree0

Ashley won't be throwing 7.5 million around a 3rd div Scottish team .Id doubt he'd even invest that amount in his favourite toy atm....TTTS

Agree0 Disagree0

Is it not 2.5 per season

Agree1 Disagree0

It will always be ibrox to me!as it will for all other fans! But for a club playing in bottom league in Scotland 1.5 with a further 1m depending on promotion progress seems a good bit if business. Nae other club would get close to that.

Agree1 Disagree0

His cash flow problems will end at the beginning of next season when he justifies putting the season ticket prices back to where they were, then he can relax for a year.

Agree0 Disagree0

Great deal for sports direct.

Get a mention every week... for peanuts compare with EPL.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sadly it's £2.5m in total for 3 years not per season.

Agree1 Disagree0

That would be easy money, no problem with that, might help put us back where we belong, top dogs.

Agree0 Disagree0

No other club would get close?

Yeah okay- Celtic just got more for their shirts.

And while you're adding up the money that seems 'a good bit of business', why don't you add in the million quid from the crossbar challenge, since it seems that's been shelved- money saved.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol that's fantastic!! 7.5m

Just think if they were a few months earlier with this sponsorship they could of bought the the fixtures and fittings aswell!!

Agree1 Disagree0

How much of this on future players.... probably nowt. green will sell anything that moves, we have money in bank, sell sell sell

if in few years this turns bad, what to sell then?

is the green the magnificant, or is ibrox deeds in unknown hands, name sold on, shirt sponsor lost, etc etc etc

note only 30% to be sepnt on player. sure this will hardly bring in droves of quality players, ranger will try to win spl or equiv on the cheap..good luck.

fans being taken from yorkshire puddings.

Agree1 Disagree1

Wont be 2.5m either. green bought the lot with a 5.5m loan (which he will be taking back AND keeping the company to sell on). would you pay him 15k a week to rename ibrox, when everybody will go right on calling it ibrox ? all the grounds where this has been a success, eg reebok, were brand new and never had a name before. will you be getting a bus to xxxxxxx or just ibrox ? if I had 2.5m to throw around ...
