Thomas Isherwood went well and we are looking to get a contract orgnised this could be a great signing to partner martin skretal in central defence but i still feel we need another 3 defenders.

Totally agree, we need 3 good centre backs so there is no guaranteed places and Ross McCrorie ideal to play in front them, and we need another left back to cover John, and another right back to compete with tav, I like tav but his defencive side of game upped so competition is what he will need, I don’t think our midfield is to far away, we have docherty who I think will be class jack and Rossiter If stays fit, so maybe a good experienced player to bring in should be good and Dorrans could leave for me, think if we sign Murphy and keep Candeias we might need a couple wingers to keep them on there toes, another coulple strikers and we won’t be far away, i'd like a proper target man up front n a good goal scorer just off him and jack Marriot would fit that bill I think

we don't even have skirtel and you are lining him up. we are linked with him that's all. if that's the case should Stevie G play Rooney as a Att or Art mid, since Merson on SSN says he should go to is instead of the USA.
I think after tomorrows game Stevie G will be watching the game closely to see who he keeps. it's another big game for us.

@davieger, sorry mate I disagree with your “our midfield is almost there. celtic and celtic juniors have walked past our midfield all season. Totally agree with your points about defence, central being the priority but our midfield can’t break down play, press and can only create against the weaker teams. If the budget is there an overhaul is required in this area too IMO

What must Bates be thinking now - his new team relegated and the person who will replace him is from BMG (the team that sent them down) poetic.
Personally, I wish he had stayed, time will tell if it works for the boy.

I'm sure bates new this was a possibility so he is probably still just as excited about moving abroad and not to mention the massive wage rise good luck to him maybe them getting relegated will actually give him more chance of more game time.
