Yes, he's saying the league is suiting him and he feels he's best suited to the league, he genuinely loves Rangers, I know that much.

Weiss spent most of last season on the bench, apart from a quick free kick in the cup final, he did bugger all. He sits in the enclosure wearing a rangers top and suddenly he is a legend. He likes anywhere he can get a game.

Is he but aloud to love any where else ?

Look fair play to the guy, he came to rangers when his dad and others were telling him to go to celtic and did a job. he had pace and tricks and I for one would take him back any day. He left a rangers fan and wanted to come back but it wasn't his decision. He added a bit of excitment when he got the ball which we've missed for a long time. I wish him all the best wherever he plays.

Cant get my head around this jelavic release clause, was the bank not in charge of us when he signed? Why would they give us 4 million to sign him and allow a 2.5 million release clause? It makes no sense

He CANNOT have a £2.5m release clause - if he did he would now play for Leicester. They would not have been able to refuse the bid for £7m. Simples

A "big team" generally has big money (as this is the toffees we're talking about, both bigs there are pretty questionable right enough!). A "big team release clause" sounds like utter pish to me. Maybe a spot mischief making. If he wishes to leave Rangers will need appropriately compensated, regardless of where he's off to. That makes no odds to us.

All i have heard is we will sell EDU for 1.5m! is it just me but money or no money if this was the case we are royaly shafting ourselfs! we bought this boy for 2.6m and he has been a 1st team player for the last 2-3 seasons and had 25 apps so far this season!

It is Davis who should be sold not EDU, I said on here at the end of October before our bad run that Davis always hides in games something no-one can accuse EDU of. Davis incompetence is making Edu look bad, Davis has no mental strength thats why he didnt succeed in enland.

I totally agree with the above post. Get rid of Davies. Won of the best displays i have seen from Edu was at Motherwell the other week. Dont get me wrong. he is not a complete midfielder and his pass is lacking any form of quality. But he never hides. puts in a shift and works his arse off from start to finish. I cant say the same for our "talismanic playmaker" who has made any kind of play this season.

Get rid of Davis? what a load of pi5h. Davis plays for the shirt, he could have gone to england for more money but is playing for the team he loves. It doesnt help that he is played on the wing on occasions and that he has a weight on his shoulders as both the Captain and the ONLY creative midfielder. No creativity from Edu, McCullough, Bartley, Wallace (got to love his new silky step overs). Put him beside Naismith and we have a different team. Surely give McKay a shot in his absence as i'm sure he wants to show the fans what he can do. watp

I think Edu is great in the midfield holding role, however when he plays in the same midfield as McCulloch that is when you see problems. Although i dont like admitting it Neil Lennon played the same position for celtic no frills, simply won the ball and passed the ball 5 yards to a man that could do something with it and he was very important for them in that position. Edu does the same for us quick to the breakdown point of an attack and a great athlete for the full 90, i am not saying he is a fantastic footballer, however he does well in that position.

I reckon if graham dorrans, an unused prem player, is worth 5-7mil, jelavic is easy worth 7mil. i think edu is worth about 2 million. if we were offered say 9 mill for the pair id seriously consider it, to be honest id look at 6mil plus a loan of a player til the end of the season, possibly with a transfer for a minimal fee.

We will get 7mill for Jela, around 1.5 max for Edu, but I cant see us paying the 2.5mill it would take to secure Guerra. Ally will be lucky to have 2mill to bring in 2 or 3 players

The edu deal appears to be 2 mill but Gers still want 2.5 that was what they told this team and i think we could get them to pay it. Fingers crossed and only if this money goes straight to Ally!

If they do we should bite their hands off! Use that money to bring in someone who can take the pressure of Steven Davis and start to provide our front men with some decent service!

Edu has limitations but gets picked ahead of others because of his ability to cover the ground. Hutton has skill but lacks pace; Ness is too often injured so makes it difficult to build around. Davis looks disinterested and is certainly no captain. remember when he first arrived? like Stuart McCall - box to box. Up to management to bring that back. All players' form can vary but the effort should always be there

Tom Hately would have done Motherwell a favour if he didnt turn up against Hearts recently. He wouldn't have taken an appearance fee and Templeton made him look non-existant anyway
