Was speaking to a boy working on a site am working down in the borders and rumour is its barry scott that's putting 20 million in to rangers. boy said he put 5 million in a few year ago also he's an insurance man over in hong kong working. just a rumour but time will tell.

Honest toun, Scott is a director in his second stint. Four years ago he was part of a group that invested £6m in the club, nobody knows exactly how much of that was his own money. Put it this way, I don't believe he has the financial clout to raise that to £20m and more on his own. Rangers need in the region of £40m-50m of investment to get us back to the very top, and as a worldwide brand we should be tying to attract that sort of cash.

Southend rangers, we probably need rid of mike ashley and sports direct, to get the big shirt manufacturer that we're all hoping for! Also of course a good trustworthy retail partner to go hand in hand with it. Bisgrove hopefully has all this in hand, as there's big revenue in this for our club, if we can get this right.

Obviously there had been talks about takeovers before but nobody would've touched us with a barge pole then and not to mention the uncertainty then
Dave King has the club best at heart and will have a resolve with the fat man (Mike Ashley) This has all been in the pipeline for a while.

STYAB in answer to your question i have no idea, personally I'm an ex prison officer of 10 years and believe nothing until it announced by our club. Newspapers are like this page i guess publish what they hear with their own slant on it. Some legit some just rubbish. I post what i hear from people or read on newsnow some of it turns out to be accurate some not but only post what i hear.

Guys I'm hearing again that David murray is somehow involved with the new investment. this is from a usually spot on source who works at ibrox (cant say who n won't say who) . this source told me bout Doran's, Murphy, Morelos, and stevie g weeks before it became public knowledge. i hope to god this time he's wrong. he told me this months ago and again last night. he won't spill details but keeps sayin watch this space. don't know how to react to this!

David Murray did a lot for our club. Ultimetly ended sourly when he had to sell quickly to protect his other investments. I still belive he would always have the clubs best interests at heart.

Gersdaft he owns the land surrounding Edinburgh international airport that's needed for them to expand so will make as much as he wants there. I worked the airport for a short time and they are desperate to grow. They need to expand the runway to bring in the bigger planes that only Glasgow can handle. I know a lot of fans will never forgive or forget him selling to white but from what i hear noone regrets what happened to us more than him. He ended badly and that's what some focus on and not all the amazing work he did prior to that. Because of his stewardship i was privelaged to go to ibrox with my old man and brother to watch world class players playing for our club growing up. I got to watch butcher, goram, woods, gough, gazza, laudrup, cooper, the dutch contingent. Great managers in souness and smith.

So the rumours of last year might have been true to a certain extent.
Only thing last years rumours said a "billionaire" was investing in us.
As just been said on here £20 to £30 million would help debt but would do little to get us to compete wi the mhanks financially and to bring in top class players.

Aye, if it's in the Sun it must be true. It's a flyer of a story concocted out of facts we already know, like DK is vacating the chairmanship later this month. 'Asian investment' has been the cry for years now and so far it has totalled £1m from one guy. Now Andy Devlin, that great source of information on all things fantastic, says the investment could be as much as £20m - enough to buy a Championship striker. Pure speculation.

Strong rumours going about two far east investors are coming in more news on this by late February it is being said they are willing to put 30M into the playing squad they are after DK shares aswell back in January they had proved proof of funds something is going on big .

£20m investment in a club the size of ours, with the worldwide appeal we have, is actually insulting. But if it's in the Sun, it must be right enough, eh?
