Rangers are interested in Fleetwood's Jamie Vardy.

Believable10 Unbelievable4

Hell cost money so stick to your boyd rumours, oh no hell cost moeny too!

Agree5 Disagree8

We are interested in vardy ur a few days out of date with that rumour pal get something new on

Agree1 Disagree4

Awww is wee timmy bitter? :( don't worry pal, it's great fun polishing silver.

Agree6 Disagree2

I thought vardy was 18 ... he's 25

Agree5 Disagree0

And still playing in the non league. It would be like giving a junior team,£1 million for there best player. We need to ask our self,if he would be worth it.Even if we could get him to come, and that is doutfull.Looks like Celtic are going for Donnolly, the boy at Airdrie.Like the look off him, played well against Dundee Utd.Bet he will be cheaper than what they want for Vardy.Ally

rangers are said to be holding out for 1.2-1.3m from sochaux who are preparing a third and final offer for their number one target edu. their second offer ogf 750k was rejected.

Believable10 Unbelievable6

Should make it 3 million lol we paid 2.6 dont see why we should let clubs push us about because we havent got money to spend but we dont need to sell supposedly lol

Agree16 Disagree4

No way we should let him go for anything less than 3 mill. He cost 2.6 mill and is their no1 target. They should pay up or shut up. Sick of us losing players on the cheap

Agree15 Disagree4

Buy him for £2.6mil and sell for £1.3mil? Sounds like us. I'm not his biggest fan bt he has done well the last few games and I wouldn't sell unless it was close to what we paid for him. Plus we all know it will b mcculloch

Agree6 Disagree4

Same could be said for the way we make offers this season!!

Agree5 Disagree0

Gotta say.....i'm not the only one.....but i'd pay for EDU to go...... been an absolute let down.....does nothing but run from open play whenever he can. We need more battles like McCulloch/Whittaker etc....

Agree3 Disagree20

He wont be leaving! Ally wants him to sign a new contract and so do I! Hes getting better and better, this time next year every one will be praising him!

Agree12 Disagree7

Only a few weeks ago a lot of you were saying hr was mince get rid of now. make up your minds. if he's mince how on earth can you expect a team to offer 3m for him?

dd

Agree4 Disagree5

Am sure ally rated him at 4mil n said that's the price demand on him, can't remember the source sorry, was recently though.

Dtp89

Agree0 Disagree6

Im sure clubs are well aware of the financial situation of rangers so rangers will have to accept a lot less than they payed!

Agree0 Disagree4

And where did u hear that Ally valued Edu at 4 mill?your making up stats mate.Rangers are in trouble as I can't see us bringing in any decent players. If Jelavic goes we will struggle in the league.Sandaza is not the answer. He's a squad player at best.

Agree1 Disagree2

It was me that sarcastically mentioned how Ally probably values him at 4M

Agree1 Disagree1

Were did I hear ally valued edu? Al write it again. CANT REMEMBER SOURCE!!!! Why would I waste my time saying that for the fun of it. Read things in future!!
Dtp89

Agree0 Disagree1

Again with the Edu bashing, I'll tell you now, you havent a clue.
Edu is the most complete midfielder at the club and will become even better.
If we sell him for the prices being quoted then questions should be asked.
We bought him for 2.6m as an inexperienced rookie and he is now played over 20 games in Europe and has won championships.
Why should his value decrease?
I'll tell you now, Ally wants to build the team around him.
BR

Agree13 Disagree4

A thought it was on here a heard it, cldnt mind it being a sarcastic comment but haha. Cheers fur clearin that up buddy.

And as for mrs moany ar*e.. ther that was it, its all sorted now.

Dtp89

Agree0 Disagree1

Value is less as he's got less time left on his contract, which is why Ally is trying to get him to sign a new one. Surprised no one on here has worked that one out

Agree0 Disagree0

Look if you want to check FACTS on Edu the boy who posted last week was dead on games lost or late goals in drawn games nearly ALL revolve round Edu not being there he is like lambert was for the s**m in east difference is they actually appreciated the unheralded job lambert did mind how few goals scotland gave away when he was sweeping up. Same applies to Edu love him or hate him he does a job and Rangers aint got too many first class internationals to be throwing them away USA are WAY above ireland in ratings and Edu is rated way above Davis internationally so get real SUPPORT your team and be happy we have someone that wants to play for us

Agree7 Disagree0

If Edu is the most complete player at Ibroox then we must be alot worse than I thought. Fair do's, he's got a bit of dig about him annd scores the odd late goal, but he struggles with 5 yard, 10 yard n 20 yard passes, that's a basic that any midfielder should be able to do with his eyes shut.

Agree3 Disagree3

I think Edu has some real quality but he seems to be a confidence player, and that confidence is returning now.
He works hard and I think he's a good man to have alongside Davis, just not McCulloch.

Agree3 Disagree1

The last post is absolutely spot on. Edu is most definitely a confidence player, and as a support we are the most impatient, critical and unforgiving!! I recently panned him for his display at the Motherwell game as his touch was abysmal, however he did set up the goal through his energy and desire. He is not blessed with technique and he does struggle with composure and passing. He is way ahead of McCulloch who is ( I've said it many times) an embarrassment!!

Regardless of his contract length we should not be held to ransom and 3-4m should be the demand. If so its a good cash injection at a time we need it. However we need to ask ourselves this, would we see any of that money? I'm not sure we would, if we sold a player for 7 or 8 million then perhaps we would see some kind of kitty.

For me we keep Edu unless we get 4 Million.

GDog
WATP

Agree5 Disagree1

Most of uz people r havin a laff now c'mon edu yea we did pay 2.6 mill but the guys a joke and contributes abso nothin any team looking at him know hes not worth 3/4 mill lol 1.5 mill sounds a fair offer !

Hear that Malaga have signed a keeper and it is not shagger

Believable6 Unbelievable1

They signed Carlos Kameni on a bosman so hopefully we keep greegs!

Agree5 Disagree0

I personally would sacrifice greegsy for the future of rfc. if we got 5-6million you can pick up some descent spl keepers for next to nothing anyway and of course we also have scotlands 2nd best goaly in neil alexander.

Agree7 Disagree6

"I personally would sacrifice greegsy for the future of rfc. if we got 5-6million you can pick up some descent spl keepers for next to nothing anyway and of course we also have scotlands 2nd best goaly in neil alexander."

You've got your head screwed on mate, this is exactly what has to happen to try to ensure that Rangers continue to exist. It's a small sacrifice to make.

Agree7 Disagree4

The club don't want money though, if admin is a posibility then we dont want cash sitting on the balance sheet. we want it to be harder to get, i.e tied up in assets

Agree2 Disagree1

''the club dont want money though'' the club needs every last penny it can get its hands on. i thought that was obvious!

Agree0 Disagree1

For as long as I have a hole in my ar5e Neil alexander will not be a goalkeeper!

Heard from a few different people that rangers will swap Healy for sandaza once they know what's happening with jelavic and other strike targets. Anyone else heard this RUMOUR?
Johnger

Believable3 Unbelievable26

Sounds like nonsense m8. blueforyou.

Agree9 Disagree1

No chance rangers will let 2 strikers leave in this window and only bring 1 in, aye i think jelavic is going but we need to bring 2 in then.

Agree11 Disagree2

There not selling 2 n bringing 1 in. If they sell jelavic n buy/ loan 2 strikers they will swap Healy for sandaza coz healy would b 4th choice but if jelavic stays they will buy sandaza for 300k n keep Healy. No sure if it will happen just wondered if any1 else heard it.
Johnger

Agree2 Disagree3

David healy has waited his whole life for the opportunity to play for his boyhood heroes. do you seriosly think he would leave to go to st johnstone- get real!

Agree8 Disagree2

Apparently healy is one of the players allys trying to get out the door according to the papers and clyde1

Agree2 Disagree5

If he is told he has no future at rangers n lomas offers him a 1 or2 year deal he will take it coz he's not stupid. Get real.

get el alagui fae falkirk eh ?? its as plain as the nose on yer face

Believable14 Unbelievable5

Good young player with bags of potential. well worth the chance!

Agree9 Disagree3

He looks a player!

Agree8 Disagree3

Out of contract at the end of the season too, but we're linked with fat, washed-up dummies like big Gary O. It makes no sense to me anyway.

Agree6 Disagree0

I would love to see el alagui at rangers, the only thing is, we would have to pay his previous club in france for the development of him and also a fee to falkirk because is still under 24

Agree1 Disagree2

Well you heard wrong then,he is 26.Its Craig Sibbald that is the kid.Who we should be going for, from the Falkirk team.He is meant to hav some top EPL clubs looking at him.We could steal a march on them,if we can land him.He plays a lot like James McCarthy. And they say that he is worth £20 million quid now.Ally

rangers to make a move for lucian goian (Dorin's brother)

Believable2 Unbelievable15

No we are not.

Agree10 Disagree2

He's a centre half we need a striker

Agree5 Disagree5

You have just found out he has a brother havent you? then thought it would be a good idea to tell us a tale lol

Agree14 Disagree2

Big G would like his company lol, we should see if chuck norris is on a free aswell would be a brilliant solid defence lol.
we are all doran goian. WATP

Agree4 Disagree0

Lol ano a thought it sounded good. Sorry guys. Was just a laugh.

Mushy.

Agree3 Disagree0

Well its no really a bad idea mushy, look at the de boer brothers they worked brilliant together lol

Agree2 Disagree0

I like how 'mushy' is taking credit for the post

i need to start writin my name from now on...

Have heard that we are going after Ricardo Fuller. He is just back from a lengthy injury. If however he is fit I think he is a better bet than Sandaza or O 'Connor. Believe stoke are looking for £1m

Believable6 Unbelievable13

Great player for that money. Would score and create goals in Scotland

Agree5 Disagree6

To old now don't think so :(

Agree4 Disagree4

What part of "we don't have any money" do yous not understand? We are only being "linked" with players to make it look as if we are trying to sign them, the only player who will sign if any is fran Sandaza.

Agree7 Disagree7

11 Jan 2012 19:02:48
I've heard 2 rumours:

Tresor Mputu - slashed price due to 2010 ban
Nashat Akram loan swap for Matt McKay

Believable7 Unbelievable4

The striker Mputu goal record is unreal and suprise no decent european side has sign him yet

Agree5 Disagree2

Unlikely to get a work permit unless he has a European passport.

Agree6 Disagree1

Mckay has had clear the air discussions with his manager and he wants to stay and fight for his place in the team.

Agree3 Disagree0

He is a good goalscorer and quick, but come on guys ally will get slated for signing an animal haha check out his vids on youtube, would be good d though cos no defender would touch him lol

Agree1 Disagree0

11 Jan 2012 18:30:28
Instead of talk of spending money that doesnt seem available why dont Rangers try and sign John Sutton the guy is free and would put a good shift in given the chance?

Believable4 Unbelievable18

Unsureif he is free?

Agree1 Disagree4

My apologies hes free to.leave onon loan i missed the loan bit when reading the story.

Agree3 Disagree0

He's free coz he's pishee.

Agree9 Disagree0

Would never play for us

Agree4 Disagree2

Also it would wind up his big brother Chris haha how ironic that would be.

Agree3 Disagree3

Couldnt agree more, lets stop pretending we have money

Agree4 Disagree2

A clause in his release from his contract, was that he is unable to join another Scottish club directly after leaving Hearts. Good idea otherwise. Would have done a job for us.

Agree0 Disagree1

Scored more goals than goodwillie in scotland!

Agree0 Disagree1

Awf mate that's such a positive attitude, U should do the half time talks to get the team up for it. U the man with the can do plan.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would it be ironic?

there has been a new bid for edu from sochoux on stv

campbell

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Has been rejected

RFCJ

Agree6 Disagree2

No luck the bid has been rejected we still have him

Agree7 Disagree8

Anyone know how much it was? First one was 500K but haven't heard/read any figures since.

Agree0 Disagree0

£750k all over net rangers holding out for £1.25m

Agree1 Disagree0

Cheers for replying.

Agree0 Disagree0

I will pay for edu to go to sochaux he can take clubfoot with him

Agree1 Disagree3

Edu has hardly put a foot wrong in the past few months, definitely worth more than the fee being touted. and as for broadfoot, he may not be the most technically gifted but, in my opinion he is more consistent than whittaker. i mean think about how many goals conceded when whitts has been playing that have been his fault (there are a good few this season alone) and compare this to the amount when broadfoot is at right back, he comes out on top. guy gets too much of a hard time

some people on here who are claiming to be rangers supporters, yet all they do is moan about every single aspect of the club, from the players to the owners. every week at the matches all you hear are complaints from the stands about players, getting on their backs. perhaps with a bit more support these players can have the confidence to produce better displays. too many people not getting behind their team yet still claim to be real fans. they are not true supporters. its about time to get behind your team!

Agree7 Disagree3

To the guy above saying broadfoot is more cosistant than whitts well mate ur WRONG the last two games broadfoot has played we lost both and both his fault, kilmarnock and celtic and both 1 nil losses AND BOTH his defensive mistakes !

Agree3 Disagree1

Killie wasnt broadfoots fault it was alukos fault . he played the guy on for the goal

get your facts straight before you type your drivel

take your one of the numpties who dont like broadfoot

Agree0 Disagree0

I mentioned Broadfoot is a better player than Whittekar at right back. I'm not saying a Broadfoot (right back), Whittekar (right midfield) combination isn't any good but without a doubt, Broadfoot adds more balance to our defensive back 4. I don't rate Broadfoot at centre back, only at right back so that''s the difference in the facts of this "arguement". Think Champions league 2009/10 seaon. I'll say no more

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Jan 2012 17:41:50
The potential move of Javi Guerra from Valladolid to Rangers while rounding up some rumours. He said Valladolid have commented on the story and they say they don't expect the player to be going anywhere seeing as he has a minimum release fee, in his contract, of £5m.

So Jim Traynor's big "exclusive" scoop was about as worthless as the newspaper he works for.

Believable12 Unbelievable5

No he doesn't. he's £2m rated and his team will take less

Agree7 Disagree8

Ssn transfer news just confirmed there was an 5m buy out clause

Agree8 Disagree1

They are also in administration and can't sell without uthorisation and a set fee met

Agree6 Disagree1

Sorry just seen oh sky sports news
he does have a £5m buy out clause.so i dont see him coming here as face it we dont have the money

Agree4 Disagree3

Every single time Rangers put it on their website we're interested or going after someone it falls free. If Whyte's such a business man his basic business etiquette is shameful. At least under SDM, even though he got us in this mess....Transfers were kept quiet and done right.

Agree5 Disagree0

That should have read ''Falls through''

Agree0 Disagree0

All players from La Liga are required to have buy out clauses, however most of these never reflect the amount that the player goes for. If his release clause is 5 million then 2 million sounds like what he would probably go for. I also think his club is in administration at present.

Agree0 Disagree1

Is everyone stupid or something? just because he has a buy out clause of 5mil does not mean he has to be sold for 5mil fs!

Agree0 Disagree0

This the same guy who cost 300,000 euro has been loaned out most of his career and his best seasons tally before joining his present club was 12 goals they've got a cheek

i dont think jelavic is going anywhere for 3 reasons

1. he would not have played at arbroath due to danger of injury etc.

2 i think whyte does value him at 10 million and no one is willing to pay anywhere near that.

3. i think jelavic thought the big clubs were gonna come in for him and it hasnt happened and he doesnt fancy QPR or West Brom

nothappybear

Believable9 Unbelievable3

Maybe QPR or West Brom dont fancy him! if they did surely they would hae put a n offer in already!

Agree7 Disagree2

U think jela wouldn't be happy at QPR......... £50k a week? haha let's not kid ourselfs mate?

Agree3 Disagree6

Also if administration is a real possibility then the club don't want cash sitting on the balance sheet. they want the cash to be as difficult to access as possible

Agree6 Disagree0

With money obviously tight Jela will probably go but I think we should hold off till summer as potentially a good euros for the big man would push up his value

Agree1 Disagree0

Ivan Sproule will be joining Rangers with John Fleck heading the other way for a loan spell.

Believable7 Unbelievable19

No chance!

CJM

Agree10 Disagree3

Whit a load of b****cks.

Agree10 Disagree4

Utter pxsh mate flecks one best players in or team boy needs chance

Agree9 Disagree6

To the 3rd reply ! flecks abso rotten and 1 best players in or team r u drunk? and as for sproule hes pants anaw

Agree9 Disagree4

Totaly agree fleck is an imposter he has never proven any of the hype surrounding him and he's only at ibrox because we have an injury list as long as celtics excuse book.

Agree9 Disagree3

I agree with you on fleck he is a good player and to the guy above who in our midfield is better than him?

Agree1 Disagree7

Fleck just needs a chance your assessment of him is shocking you probably only came out the woodwork when souness took over

Agree3 Disagree6

Fair comment wud go with that

Agree0 Disagree4

I'll tell you who in our midfield is better than him:
davis
edu
aluko
wallace
ness
so that's 5 players that apart from ness who's injured have all being playin midfield for us recently and r miles ahead of fleck!!

Agree8 Disagree6

I used to play for queens park when john played for gers u19s, he was the next rooney, he had everything good about him!he has been brought into the team far to young he cant cope with the gers players, when adam played for us(rangers)he was supposly rubbish, look at him now, put fleck back in the reserves for a season or two and bring him back, or loan him out, look at welbeck&sturridge man utd&chelasea loned them out, BANG they are amazing, WATP

Agree9 Disagree2

John fleck is a joke punt tht wee botton finks hes a superstar= as ad as ortiz!

Agree3 Disagree4

Jamie ness plays one game and misses 15 after that.and as for Davis he hasn't performed in a rangers jersey all season, edu has played well the last few games but am sure if fleck had a run in the team as they have he would perform well week after week.typical rangers support get on the young lads back give him a chance ffs,the rangers support drove Adam out the door and people like you are trying to do the same with fleck.

Agree3 Disagree1

I bet the guy's that say Fleck is pi5h are the same ones who gave Hutton, Adam, and Edu a hard time. Fleck has started the last 2 games (ALMOST) and played very well, so now is the time to get behind the boy.

Agree5 Disagree2

Had to laugh at these posts..... flecks not a midfielder, play the boy in his own position then judge

Agree3 Disagree1

Fleck = lot of hype no substance simple!

Agree2 Disagree2

Some guys might not have been born before souness came, just an idea.

Agree0 Disagree1

Fleck is a very tanlented lad, only thing thats held him back is injury and s**te like mcculloch being given a game ahead of him ! Definetly deserves a run in the team !

Agree6 Disagree1

My view on fleck hes another charlie adam hes got ability bt cant function in a rangers team think hes scared of makin mistakes av had 8 pints tho

Agree2 Disagree1

Fleck has been great the past two games and clearly has bags of ability gi the lad a chance FFs.

Agree2 Disagree1

11 Jan 2012 15:52:58
Not for a minute do I believe that Rangers will be signing this Guerra for 2.5 mil any way coz from wot ive heard Ally will be getting 10% of the Jelavic fee to replace him. So by my reckoning uz will be gettin about 700k to spend. Why Guerra anyway? Uz shud be taking a leaf from Celtics book and signing younger players with a sell on value.

Drew

Believable9 Unbelievable12

I am in agreement with the buying of younger players, if this guy doesnt work out we end up losing £2m. Younger players can be given a second chance at another club. Ludicrous in our financial state.

Lee Beejeebees.

Agree4 Disagree4

Oh indeed mate as that has well worked out for celtic for the past 3 yrs :-)

Agree5 Disagree2

Is Whoopie Bangura no one of those young players mate

Agree2 Disagree0

Younger fitter stronger lol is that not what you lot claimed i say its about the here and now experience- titles:)

Agree0 Disagree1

11 Jan 2012 15:49:36
Reckon we should go for that hamdi salihi from rapid vienna. 42 goals in 67 games playing for vienna. Could easily shine in the SPL and will cost considerably less than javi guerra

Believable15 Unbelievable5

A do agree mate but a honestly don't think rapid intend to let him go for 500k, recon that's just to get clubs attention to draw an intrest then the competition starts to sign him. He's a good player and is worth more. Be great to get him though.

Agree5 Disagree0

Hes in last 6months of contract and has refused new deal, so they can want more but wont get it, as he will be free in the summer!

Agree0 Disagree0

Awrite a didn't know that mate. Aw well a hope we do get him.

11 Jan 2012 15:43:01
I think Ryan Mcgowan would be a great replacement not that whittaker is out for 6 weeks

Believable2 Unbelievable10

Is he not a left back mate?

Agree1 Disagree4

McMillan should replace Whittaker. not just for 6 weeks, but on a full time basis.

Agree16 Disagree4

Agree wae the 2nd reply ! big dc

Agree0 Disagree1

What is it with all u baffoons mcmillian is not the answer the guy is 23 at that age u should be an established member of the first team or clearly the coaching staff don't rate you that highly
2005– Rangers 2 (0)
2009 → Hamilton Academical (loan) 4 (0)
2009 → Queen of the South (loan) 16 (0)
2011 → Wrexham (loan) 5 (0)
the guy spent a whole season at queen of south at the age of 21 and only featured 16 times in all comps so he was not even good enough for regular spot there so dream on he is not the answer nor is fleck, pains me to say it but celtic can prove this point a matthews is 19 and played 40 times for cardiff last season and has already played more spl games than mcmillan WHY? cos he's better!!*ksd*

Agree6 Disagree3

Ksd......Absolutely no need to talk to your fellow gers fans like that, baffoons? Wtf man.

Dtp89

Agree5 Disagree2

Bartley will be replacing Whittaker! With McMillan as cover until clubfoot comes back its obvious considering McMillan didnt even start against arbroath! Even though I do agree McMillan should get a chance!

Agree1 Disagree2

Googled McGowan and text a college pal that's a jambo.
McGowan is a left back.

Agree1 Disagree1

Bartley will probably play at R.B as he did v Arbroath. If Boca or Goian are not available then Bartley might play at C.B. and McMillan at R.B.
Did Ortiz not play at R.B IN LA LIGA.?

Agree5 Disagree1

Mcgowan is actually a cb but can play all over the back 4 and in midfield.

Is there any reason why the official website for gers is not available and a message saying new official website coming soon,,, there was nothing mentioned that I saw to say that there was going to be new website..

Believable8 Unbelievable1

New website.

Agree6 Disagree2

Ask the guy on this page thy claims his pal works with rangers media haha

Agree6 Disagree0

Perhaps there is a new website, or it could be a conspiracy!!!

Agree4 Disagree1

Is there any reason why the official website for gers is not available and a message saying new official website coming soon

ill take a guess and say the reason the official website isnt available is because there is a new one coming soon, just a hunch though so dont bet on it lol

Agree3 Disagree1

There was a post from the facebook rangers media today saying they cant wait for new site..coming today

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers recent deals with premier sports is the reason for the website being unavailable as it is being reconstructed by them

Agree0 Disagree0

Unsureif he is free?

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely the fact it states " new website coming soon" gives it away?

Agree2 Disagree0

Sorry ed dont know if you will post this but if anyone looking for tickets for the coming games (to order/buy off the net) its www.rangers.talent-sport.co.uk

EVENING TIMES TODAY
NIKICA JELAVIC faces an anxious wait to see if QPR’s new boss Mark Hughes will retain interest in him – with a potential £2.5million a year contract up for grabs.

SportTimes understands that representatives of Rangers’ Croatian star asset had agreed a £50,000-a-week contract for the striker to move to Loftus Road this month.

All that was left in order for the deal to happen was for QPR to strike an agreement with the Ibrox club over the transfer fee, with owner Craig Whyte slapping a £10m valuation on the head of the 26-year-old.

But as Jelavic’s people talked to the QPR hierarchy and attempted to put a deal in place, boss Neil Warnock was sacked at the start of the week.

Now, Hughes has been secured as his successor. And, with a new target man very high on the list of priorities – and a £40m transfer kitty from owner Tony Fernandes in place to keep QPR in the Premier League – it remains to be seen if Jelavic will remain a live target for Hughes.

Jelavic has already hinted London would be his preferred destination when he said: "It’s normal I am attracted to go to England, I have dreamed about playing there for years.

"If they (Rangers) sold me it would help to get rid of the debt they have accumulated for years, but nobody at the club has told me I must leave, though.

"It’s been quiet and I still have a contract with Rangers for another two-and-a-half years. It’s for the owners of the club to decide what will happen.

"But as far as I know, the club must repay its debts by a certain deadline. If I had to pick a city to go to, it would be London. It is a very interesting city."

Believable2 Unbelievable6

Why copy and paste all that? They were no need were the?

Agree3 Disagree6

Dear dear.if we get 7m for jella ally must get at least 2.5 for his no 1 target.seems to be truth in this rumour as jim traynor broke much the same story.crunch time for mr whyte i think,my big worry is will he trust ally after the ortiz, bedoya, mckay fiasco.it also proves that we have been deceived as he stated we didnt need to sell anybody.jella has said he would hapilly stay so why are we selling! i just dont trust this guy. blueforyou.

Agree4 Disagree1

Well from wot ive heard, ally will only be gettin 10% of the Jelavic fee.

Agree2 Disagree2

If we can get salihi and guerra with the jelavic money and possibly a few youngsters i'll be happy

"If we can get salihi and guerra with the jelavic money and possibly a few youngsters i'll be happy"

That would be amazing both quality strikers. That would pretty much guarantee 4 in a row!

Agree4 Disagree5

Wouldn't mind this Guerra lad... and jamie murphy? i think they'd fill the hole (reasonably) Jela would leave. Muzz

Agree3 Disagree3

Im not a Rangers fan....I'm not a Celtic fan for that matter! However, I do think that Rangers fans are being fed some amount of horse sh*t from the Ibrox PR machine. I think there is more reliable information coming out of North Korea than Ibrox.
If you can apply some logic to the difficulties currently facing Rangers then you can only draw one conclusion that in this transfer window Rangers will sign no one regardless if Jelavic is sold or not. IF Rangers really wanted to purchase a player then the selling club will ask for the money upfront! Money they dont have as the current expenditure is higher than the income. No sensible business would extend credit to Rangers as they have the threat of administration hanging over them. Something i'm sure the Hearts board will be concerned with as Rangers havent paid the full amount for Lee Wallace yet. Also, the loan taken out to pay for Jelavic isnt paid up yet either. Rangers have no line of credit with the bank and regardless of the Tax Tribunal which will conclude around March/April they have to survive till then and they need to sell to raise funds to get them through the next few months. In my opinion any talk of purchasing new players is done purely to keep the Rangers supporters happy. Time will tell if im wrong but as someone who runs my own business who has had companies go bust owing me money I can tell you I would not be doing business with Rangers at the moment.

Agree15 Disagree4

To 'im not a rangers fan': I'd believe the stuff coming out the 'Ibrox PR machine' LONG before i'd believe the Daily Record, the BBC, or some guy that lifts his rumours from both sites on here. Pete

Agree2 Disagree5

I think you,ll find champs league money funded the sighing of jelavic even though he was cup tied

Agree2 Disagree4

Lots of good points.i also dont believe rumours and speculation outa ibrox since ally contradicted whyte last week.i to run my own business and understand the need for a good line of credit but some bears cant get there head round it.if you crunch the available numbers theres only one road open to us n thats admin.the longer this rolls on the more its costing in running costs, god knows what our legal costs are gonna be.

Agree3 Disagree0

Pete, I can assure you that I don't read the Daily Record. However, I have been following Rangers storyfor a while now and read various Newspapers, websites, blogs, documentaries etc and I've formulated my own opinion to which I am entitled. You should try it yourself rather than believe what you are spoon fed. My conclusions may be wrong but as I said only time will tell and come 31st January I will either be right or I won't. What Craig whyte has admitted himself if there is less coming in than is going out...so you don't need to be a genius to work out that when your business is in that situation then disaster looms. Don't believe everything you hear, question what information you have and try to make your own logical conclusions...it's hard to believe what's staring you in the face when emotions run high.

Just heard that qpr are only going to pursue there interest in jelavic if mark hughes wants him, following is just to see what people think, would anyone take 5 million plus bothroyd or dj Campbell?

Believable2 Unbelievable13

Celtic going for Bothroyd but, I'd snap him up with 5M deal for Jela in a heartbeat.

Agree5 Disagree10

5 or 6 million plus either would be perfect either would score goals up here

Agree0 Disagree1

Celtic wont let bothroyd away, lol at you.they would want a striker for a striker

Agree0 Disagree0

Both players would score goals in the SPL but could we afford the wages- Loan deal might be an option.

According to the Daily Record we may be going head to head with Celtic to try and sign Rapid Vienna striker Hamdi Salihi!

Well we might as well forget that one! Celtic can outbid us and pay better wages. Not a hope in hell of him signing for Rangers if Celtic want him!

Im sure i read somewhere that his agent was Rudi Vata as well!

Believable16 Unbelievable15

Did noone ever stop to think that maybe they didn't mke a good partnership or maybe didn't like working together? Just because they were together at Rapid means nothing. He's going to Celtic.

Agree7 Disagree6

Paper talk i think guys.we need to sell so we cant bid till theres some sort of movement outa gers.

Agree5 Disagree1

Im sick of people saying we need to sell before we can buy... People listen to all sorts of gash cumin out of peoples mouths but wen Ally Mccoist himself says we dont need to sell anybody to buy yous turn a deafy! This includes aluko payin his own transfer wen Ally sayd he only put like 8-10 grand too it... So just shut the F**k up wae the garbage

Agree6 Disagree8

Whyte said there would have to be movement when he spoke to supporters outa his mouth mate!

According to the Daily Express Matt McKay has turned down a loan move to Saudi Arabia as he doesn't want it to effect his national team selection and also that Rangers are going to put a bid in for a forward that we've been chasing since last year.

Not Rangers news but the 'big name' to be revealed as a Killie player tomorrow must be Derek Riordan.

All news from the Daily Express.

Believable5 Unbelievable7

It's the albanian Celtic want. Hamdi Salihi, if we keep Jelavic then he could b a factor to help talk this guy into joinin him at Gers instead of goin to the dark side

Agree2 Disagree7

The lad needs to be given a chance

Agree0 Disagree5

Daily express also states mcoist has two move sum of his players on two get players in broadfoot and edu have been told there not for sale but we are willing two listing two offers for healy an ortiz

Unless you are under 6 years old, you should know that two is a number, as in number 2.
