Read Adam Berry from Man utd been trailist last couple of games for b team. Highly rated as next Beckham a while ago. Any idea how he did and if we likely to follow up? Also about the B team what has happened to Ishaka? Not seem him mentioned for a while.

Kaiser. the only way he was related to about Beckham was he scored a goal from the half way line and he's English like beckham. saying that tho I hear he's did well in his trials and supposobly an offer has been made to him.

Apparently we have offered him a two year deal, he looked ok when I saw him in one game, seemed to lack fitness.

Don't know anything about the kid and "the next" whoever is banded about far too often but if we can have someone overrated that goes on to play hundreds of games for Man U, Real, Milan and England making millions in the process I'd take that thanks. Becks was some player but a lot of jealous people out there wanted to slate him as a pretty boy, wand of a right foot, great attitude and work ethic, I'm scottish through and through but that free kick against Greece in last minute of game is one of the most amazing pressure goals I've ever seen, and England got pumped in the finals. bonus.

I agree with @ de boar was good, I don’t think you play for the clubs Beckham did without being a baller, his cross field balls were a thing of beauty and the used to start numerous attacks. I actually thought Beckham was underrated as a footballer because at the time he became a major celebrity.
Anyway on to this new guy, if I’m honest I have never heard of him, but if you impress PC that’s good enough for me.
This is just a guess based on some of the stuff PC has said- I think Clements type of player is a real professional and probably very athletic. Who is good positionally and a real team player. Strong minded and is brave in possession.
I think it will be the type of player that lots of us have been crying out for. I personally hope he brings us in January a winger, a upgrade at CDM and a defender. But it’s January so I’d only expect a few at most. I hope he uses the loan to buy option as it works for us, as we get a look at a player who’s desperate to impress before purchasing. Without the silly clause in it that let's them take them back I. e Tillman.

He was a marketing team's w*t dream, who made a fortune from his brand, and not his footballing prowess. Yes, he was a good footballer, but he was nowhere near to being a great. The way he was projected by some was nauseating.
In terms of ability, he couldn't lace the boots of England teammates like Gerrard, Scholes or Lampard, but his brand took him further, and made him more money, not his skill. There were many, many players better than Beckham at the time, but they lacked the looks, brand, pop star wife, and a team of image and marketing consultants who all contributed to the brand.
Maybe I'm just jealous of his good looks, who knows? ?.
