I'm in the West enclosure tomorrow, oddly over 30 years since I last was in it. Saw a fair few games from that spot lol
Hope it's lucky again, and it's my sons first game. Time to pass in the baton.

Hope the we man has a great day cvd, it's really something unforgettable and magical eh mate. I remember my first game being at ibrox against hearts 86/ 87 season, I still remember the smells the atmosphere and just trying to get my little brain around how enormous the stadium was, and seeing my first goal everyone jumping up celebrating, there's not many better feelings, I was addicted from that day onwards.

I always stood in the enclosure, by the tunnel untie it was decided I big enough for the Copeland road end with the other big boys. Great memories. Cletus I hope you and theboy have a great day. New memories being ma.

I remember being in the enclosure Infront of the main stand just behind the dugout there would have been us small lads and a few blind people and there was a chap who would do a commentary for them never knew who he was . anyone else remember him?

Yeah I remember him well,
He used to bring a few blind people into wee gers club before and after games sometimes.
Superb wee man but not seen him in few years.
Seen someone else doing it more recently though.
@ orange tinted, I think it relates to Alistair Johnstone from the green and grey team who went off yesterday with suspected concussion.

Baldy Bear - you made me think of wee rangers club.
Had my engagement party in there.
Used to play in there few times a year when i was in a local flute band. Always a brilliant atmosphere.
And finally wee Jumbo.

Sadly the clubs not like it ysed to be for me.
My old man ran the bus for years from there.

I went on the bus a few times Baldy Bear. i'm struggling to remember the gents name that ran it. Well known guy in the area. Wonder if it was your dad. It would have been between 1994 and 2002 probably.

Brilliant story re jumbo in belfast.
His hair was legendary. Long wiry hair but the grandfather of all sweep overs.
My mate was sharing a room with him and woke up through the night. Looked over at jumbo sleeping on the floor and he was bald as a snooker ball, his hair lying over to the side.
My mate fell asleep for a short time, looked over again and jumbo must have woken up, realised his do was out of shape and reset it.
Jumbo was a real character.

Sadly, we lost him 5 years ago. ?

I remember at his funeral around 7 years ago, he had full flute band, in full tune walk through the ceremony in through the front and straight out the back door.
I had never seen that before.
