Scotty123 yes the box to box midfielders are dying out but their is still many of them about, Levitt from d utd is one well capable of breaking up play at the back and also breaking forward and getting assists and goals, watched their game in Europe that boy can play I reckon he would get many games for us and under half a million so their are very good players out their that don't cost a fortune.

I would throw the usual formation out and go with an old fashioned, but hugely workable, 4-4-2
McLaughlin
Tavernier, Goldson, Davies, Yilmaz
Wright, Lundstram, Lawrence, Matondo
Morelos, Colak.

The team selection is hugely dependent on the availability of both Kent and Morelos.
Likelihood is they will be on the bench.
Do we go 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1?
Problem area for the team at the moment is LCB and LB, plus we need a mix of players experienced to play at this level so the balance needs to be right.
Steve Davis, and Scotty Arfield have a part to play and do we go with McGregor or McLaughlin in goals.
